Our journey began all the way back in eighth grade at Four Oaks Middle School, when we first met and had no idea what God had in store for us. We stayed friends for years, and by our senior year of high school, we finally started dating—and we've been together ever since. Since then, we’ve grown up side by side, navigating some of life’s biggest moments together: traveling, surviving the craziness of COVID-19, cheering Thomas on as he played college basketball at Campbell, and celebrating Calesie’s time at NC State.
In March of 2025, during a family trip to St. Lucia, Thomas asked the easiest “yes” of Calesie’s life. It was a perfect moment and a memory we’ll cherish forever.
As we prepare for marriage, we’re excited for everything the future holds. Our prayer is to keep Christ at the center of our relationship and step into a covenant that honors our Savior. We are so grateful for the love we’ve built, the adventures ahead, the future family we’ll one day grow, and the family and friends who have supported us along the way.
Ezekiel 16:60
“Yet I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.”
1 Corinthians 13:13
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
We kindly ask our guests to dress their best as we celebrate our big day. Think elegant evening wear—midi to floor-length dresses for ladies and suits or tuxedos for gentlemen.
