Our Wedding

We met on the dating app Bumble in July 2020. I was about to start my second year at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, and Trent was starting his first year at the Savannah College Of Art and Design in Atlanta. Trent and I bonded over our love of beer and dogs. Trent and I met up for our first date at Orpheus brewing near Piedmont Park, and Ryan McGill made a special guest appearance. We hit it off and Trent was so smitten, that 2 weeks later he helped me and my former roommate move apartments. A few months into our relationship, I made my first trip to Huntsville where I met the Conquest family for the first time at Thanksgiving. About a month later, Trent traveled up to Minnesota where he learned that you can have a bonfire on a frozen lake. I graduated from Rollins in May 2021, and moved back up to Minnesota where I started my first full time job. Our cross-country romance didn't last long; after about a year, Lulu and I moved back to Atlanta and moved in with Trent and Ryan New Girl style. About three and a half years after our first date, Trent and I ventured up to Howard Lake where he proposed on 12/22/23 on the same shoreline where we had that bonfire all those years ago. After returning to Atlanta, Trent, Lulu, and I moved into our first apartment together, Trent started his new job, and I was accepted into grad school (again), and the rest is history.
