ABOUT MARY
Mary just graduated from UCLA where she double majored in English and Art History. She has also pursued photography by shooting and editing for The Daily Bruin. After graduation, she'll be looking for internships and jobs in photography, museums, or advertising. Mostly, though, she'll be thinking about her wedding and spending time with her wonderful fiance!
ABOUT BEAU
Beau graduated from UCLA two years ago and recently got accepted to USC's graduate program for Classics. He and Mary will be moving closer to campus in the Fall. Before his studies start, he'll be keeping up his languages and traveling. He hopes to honeymoon in Greece, seeing the Acropolis with his beautiful wife.
HOW WE MET
We met a very long time ago... at least for how old we are. We met in high school when I was a freshman and Beau was a senior. After going to Winter Formal together, we started dating and have been deeply in love ever since. Beau left for college, but we maintained a somewhat long distance relationship. We both ended up at UCLA and moved in together last year. When we get married, we'll have been together for eight years and loved every moment of it.
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
Beau and I decided to take a roadtrip last year, just the two of us up to Seattle. Little did I know, Beau had a beautful diamond ring in his pocket the whole way up! After going out to a delicious dinner with my aunt and uncle, we all went to look out over the gorgeous twin-peaked Snoqualmie Falls. Beau asked if I wanted a picture of the two of us, which of course I did. But as I smiled at the camera, Beau got on one knee! I saw the ring and immediately started crying for joy (but remembered to say yes). Uncle Tim and Aunt Dee were just as stunned and Tim actually got a picture of the proposal. People all around us were clapping and smiling. We went home and immediatly called friends and family to spread the news.

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
We will be having the ceremony and reception at Strawberry Farms in Irvine. It will most likely be an evening wedding and not too large.
