A Brief History of Wedding Dress Designer Alexandra Grecco
Alexandra Grecco studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She began by selling vintage clothes on Etsy, which opened the opportunity for her to start selling her pieces at boutiques and department stores such as Bloomingdale's. Grecco released her first ready-to-wear collection in the Spring of 2010.
Looking for a gown for her wedding in 2013, she saw an opportunity to create a bridal line of her own and pair her aesthetic with high-quality fabrics and intricate hand-embroidery. Launched in July 2014, the Alexandra Grecco bridal line features ethereal gowns for the less-traditional bride. Each collection stems from an organic, yet focused vision. Finding inspiration everywhere, Grecco's designs are continually evolving.

Alexandra Grecco's Spring 2018 collection continues to find the balance between timeless looks and modern trends. Each wedding dress boasts clean lines and chic silhouettes, along with unexpected, textural details. Most notably in the collection is the two piece wedding ensemble, featuring high-waisted, wide-leg pants and a crop top.
The Alexandra Grecco Fall 2018 collection features soft, unique pastels and playful, free-spirited accents like feathers and shimmering beads. The collection's floral designs are based off of blooms from France's Île de Ré and hand-embroidered onto illusion tulle.
The Alexandra Grecco Spring 2019 collection boast tons of personality, featuring bold embroidery, playful ruffles and creative silhouettes. The collection includes everything from a long-sleeved gown with a thigh-high slit and a silk mini dress, to a flowing A-line number with floral appliqués and a jumpsuit with a ruffled bodice.
