With five locations across Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky, you can trust that the establishment knows what it's doing. For private events, such as a wedding shower, LouVino in Cincinnati has two rooms—the Cellar and the Champagne Room. The Cellar seats up to 40 people max and charges an $800 food and beverage minimum for a Saturday or Sunday brunch event. For a more intimate shower, the Champagne Room seats up to 15 people, with a $450 minimum. Brunch buffet menus start at $25 per person.

Also in Over-the-Rhine, Nicola's is a fine-dining Italian restaurant serving delicious breads, salads, soups, antipasti, freshly made pastas, meat, fish and more—and it's an ideal Cincinnati bridal shower venue. Private parties can be held in several locations. First, and most intimate, the Wine Room can seat up to 12 people. Next is the Mezzanine for up to 45 guests. For smaller celebrations, the Kenwood Room has a capacity for up to 24 guests. The Sycamore Room is great for a midsize event, capping out at 35. Have closer to 70 on your guest list? Via Vite
With six private dining spaces for all sorts of special events, Downtown Cincinnati's Via Vite has so much to offer for a wedding shower. Restaurateur Cristian Pietoso, native to Italy, opened the restaurant in 2007 with his father. Since then, he's been blessing locals and visitors alike with an authentic Italian dining experience. Via Vite's knowledgeable team can help you execute your bridal shower vision in any of its dining spaces: the Fountain Room (capacity: 20), the Vine Street Room (capacity: 20), the Central Room and Private Bar (capacity: 40), the Outdoor Covered Terrace (capacity: 90-100), the main dining room (capacity: 96) or the main dining room bar (capacity: 96).
Little Miami Brewing Company
Little Miami Brewing Company is not your average Cincinnati bridal shower location. It's above average—especially for brides who share the venue's passion for, you guessed it, beer. Not only is Little Miami a highly rated brewery, it also has an on-site event center. In the event center, the Mill Room can fit up to 75 guests seated. Tecumseh can hold up to 200 seated. On the weekends, evening rentals are available for up to five hours, with prices starting at $2,000 for the 2024-2025 event season. Beverage packages start at $10 per person. Your rental includes day-of coordination and bartenders, use of the outdoor patio space, a basic speaker system and a wireless microphone, round and rectangular tables, black padded folding chairs and more—so you'll be able to cross those off of your bridal shower checklist, easy-peasy.
Moerlein Lager House
Another beer lover's paradise, Moerlein Lager House is a well-known restaurant and brewery (and bridal shower venue!) located in Smale Riverfront Park. Next to the establishment, which serves craft beer and upscale-casual dishes, you'll find Great American Ball Park, Paul Brown Stadium and Heritage Bank Center. Moerlein's two primary private dining options are the Beer Baron Hall and the John Hauck Room. The Beer Baron Hall can be broken down into two spaces on its own—East (capacity: 48) and West (capacity: 40). If your bride-to-be prefers a shower with just their nearest and dearest, the John Hauck Room can accommodate up to 20 guests (or 18 with audio/visual setup).
Nicholson's Pub
Nicholson's Pub is Cincinnati's first gastropub and a 2022 Best of Weddings winner. Nicholson's was born out of its founder's love for Great Britain, so much so that the design was largely inspired by Scotland's Cafe Royal Circle Bar. For private events, including rehearsal dinners, business meetings, showers and birthdays, the venue has two rooms it recommends. First, the Garden Room seats 40 (30 for a buffet) and features glass doors and a private adjoining patio. Second, the Hearth Room seats up to 30 (20 for a buffet) and boasts a working fireplace. Brunch packages start at $15 per person. Nicholson's also offers plated lunches, requiring a pre-set menu with a maximum of three entree selections.
deSha's American Tavern
Northern Cincinnati's deSha's American Tavern, another 2022 Best of Weddings winner, stands out with more than three decades of experience in the industry. As noted on deSha's website, the tavern's mission is "to be a real comfortable, down-home place to get authentic food and drink." With seven private and semi-private event spaces and a team with years of experience throwing parties, deSha's should not be overlooked in your Cincinnati bridal shower venue search, whatever your bridal shower theme may be. Nicholson's Room is the location's flagship event room, with space for 50 seated, Wi-Fi and a 64-inch high definition TV. There's also the Rookwood Room with seating for 20, the Hearth Room with seating for 50, the private Grille with seating for 90, the Atrium with seating for 54, the Polo Bar with seating for 30 and, lastly, the Polo Patio, an expansion of the Polo Bar when weather permits.
Cincinnati Shakespeare Company
For something totally different, meet Cincinnati Shakespeare Company—a classical theater company that also hosts pre-wedding celebrations. Host a nontraditional shower in CSC's Otto M. Budig Theatre. The theater allows for events to be held in multiple areas: the Mainstage, which is most suitable for a wedding; the Linnemann Family Lobby, described by the venue as a transformative space perfect for cocktail hours and more; and the Bridgeland Performance Studio. The studio is CSC's most popular event space. It is recommended for showers, has floor-to-ceiling windows and can serve as a blank canvas for your event. For food and beverage, you may bring in your own caterer and vendors.
Ivy Hills Country Club
If a country club is more your—or your bride's—speed, Ivy Hills Country Club is a wonderful location situated on truly stunning grounds. Ivy Hills opened in 1992 on what used to be 150 acres of farmland and a gravel quarry. In addition to weddings, the golf and country club specializes in showers and parties. Multiple private rooms are available for events, and bridal showers both small and large can be hosted here by club members and nonmembers. Toast to the soonlywed in a gorgeous clubhouse, surrounded by serene views of the golf course.
The Skeleton Root
The Skeleton Root in Over-the-Rhine is an urban winery and event venue that can host the full range of wedding events so long as your guest count is 100 or less. Housed inside a historic warehouse, the Skeleton Root is dedicated to revitalizing the local growing region, working with forgotten American heritage grapes. The industrial interior (brick walls, concrete, exposed ceilings) in combination with Skeleton Root's classic furnishings creates a moody aesthetic that is gorgeous on its own and will be even more stunning when it's dressed up for events. Located on the second floor, the winery has an accessible entrance.
The Confetti Room
Last but not least is The Confetti Room, a chic event venue and decor studio in Over-the-Rhine. Specializing in rehearsal dinners and bridal showers, the Confetti Room can accommodate up to 65 guests for a seated event. The details behind throwing a shower here are as follows: Friday and Sunday pricing is $695, with Saturdays costing $795. These prices cover a five-hour venue rental, and events must conclude by 5 p.m. Rentals include tables, chairs, linens, a sound system and a kitchenette. Another great perk about booking here is the open vendor policy—enabling you to control the look and budget of your event.
