"I'm still speechless 🥹🥹 last night was the best night of my life and I can't believe I get to marry the love of my life," the singer captioned the social media reveal. "My love, I'm beyond excited to marry you.. every day I've spent with you has been a dream come true and I can't wait to love and cherish you forever. Here's to the rest of our lives. I love you baby."
The Canadian artist shared his own post on Instagram, writing, "Yesterday i asked my best friend to marry me and she said yes. i can't imagine my life without you and thank god now i'll never have to. feeling like the luckiest man alive right now. i'm so in love with you @ddlovato 🖤"

People was the first to report that Demi Lovato's engagement ring is a pear-cut diamond on a simple band by Material Good, a luxury jeweler based in New York City. According to Olivia Landau, founder of The Clear Cut, the solitaire appears to be sizable both in value and carat size. "Demi Lovato's engagement ring looks to be around a 4- or 5-carat pear in a cathedral-style solitaire setting," she tells The Knot. "If her diamond is natural, it could range anywhere from $80,000 to $250,000, depending on exact quality."
Plus, she continues, this A-list sparkler may give a hint at what's to come with engagement ring trends in the coming year. "Pear diamonds will definitely be a huge bridal trend for 2024," Landau explains. "We've seen many clients gravitate to pear-shaped diamonds because they look very large for their carat weight and are finger-flattering." Given the rising trend of oval-cut diamonds, she adds that pears are a great option for those who want something a little different. "While many people are loving elongated diamonds, some couples want something a bit more unique than oval diamonds, which have been the most popular fancy shape diamond cut over the past three years."
