Taylor Lautner and girlfriend Taylor Dome are engaged. On November 11, the Twilight actor proposed within a rather romantic and private setting: asking his future wife to say "yes" in front of a candlelit fireplace. "And just like that, all of my wishes came true," Lautner posted on Instagram.
Dome added on her end, "My absolute best friend. I CANNOT WAIT TO SPEND FOREVER WITH YOU."

Lautner proposed to the registered nurse with an oval-cut diamond ring that he custom-designed with Ring Concierge. "Taylor selected an Oval cut diamond set in the Whisper Thin [style] with Pave and added a hidden halo for an unexpected element of sparkle," CEO Nicole Wegman said in a press release to The Knot and others. "The hidden halo Taylor added under the oval is a fun, feminine detail that you can only see when viewing the ring from the side."

Lautner and Dome are one of many celeb duos to opt for an oval-cut diamond in the last decade. Other celebrities to sport an oval engagement ring include Kourtney Kardashian, Hailey Bieber and Blake Lively. "Ovals are really popular because they are feminine and elongate the finger," Wegman explained. "At [our brand] we specialize in finding the most beautifully cut ovals on the market."

Lautner's proposal news was well-received by his former colleagues and Hollywood friends. "Oh my goodness! This makes me want to cry!" wrote Nikki Reed, who also starred in the Twilight franchise. "Wow!!Congrats to you both 😭❤️!!!!!!" Others to chime in on the flurry of commentary included Patrick Schwarzenegger, Justin Long and Ashley Benson.

This isn't the only recent engagement in the Twilight world. Kristen Stewart, who played Bella Swan across the entire film franchise series and Lautner's on-screen love interest, is also newly-engaged and planning a wedding to Dylan Meyer.
Lautner and Dome have been dating for three years. The couple was first linked when they were photographed on a date at a Los Angeles Rams game in September 2018. They made their public debut on social media just one month later while celebrating Halloween.
