Our Wedding

We met online, both curious and hopeful about what the universe might bring our way. After chatting for a bit, we decided to meet up for coffee—and that simple moment turned into something extraordinary. Our first real date became our last first date. From the beginning, Katie was drawn to Michael’s charm and intelligence. He’s a kind and gentle soul, someone who listens deeply and loves wholeheartedly. It didn’t take long for Katie to realize that I had found someone truly special.Over time, their bond grew stronger built on laughter, shared dreams, and a deep respect for each other’s quirks and passions. From cheering each other on through life’s challenges to celebrating every little victory, we’ve become each other’s greatest supporters and best friends. The proposal wasn’t a grand gesture—it was something far more meaningful. In a quiet, personal moment shared just between the two of them, Mike asked me to spend forever together. No audience, no spectacle—just love, honesty, and the kind of connection that doesn’t need words. This wedding isn’t just a celebration of love—it’s a celebration of everything we’ve built together, and everything that lies ahead.

What to Wear to a Backyard Wedding

How to Level-Up Casual Wedding Attire

Please feel free to wear what makes you comfortable. If you would like to dress up in fancy please do!We want you to be comfortable—please wear whatever makes you feel like yourself. Our wedding on October 10, 2026, in Owosso, Michigan will have a relaxed, floral-inspired vibe with burgundy accents. Suggested options: nice jeans or chinos with a button-up or blouse, a casual dress or skirt, or a blazer for a slightly dressier touch. Comfortable shoes are fine—outdoor-friendly footwear is recommended if you'd like to explore the grounds. If you prefer to dress up, feel free to wear cocktail attire or a more formal outfit; either way, we’re just excited to celebrate with you.
