Camden’s newest luxury hotel, 16 Bay View is the transformation of a 100-year-old industrial brick building into a one-of-a-kind 21-room boutique hotel that delivers an authentic Camden, Maine experience. Located on Bay View Street, amid a thriving shopping district full of galleries, fine restaurants and boutiques, just footsteps from Camden Harbor, we created something special – a distinctive jewel in the heart of Camden. From the grand indoors to the great outdoors, 16 Bay View's event spaces let you go with the flow. The hotel features over 3,500 sqft. of flexible space, including a banquet room that can accommodate up to 75 guests, a rooftop terrace overlooking the harbor that can accommodate up to 45 guests and an intimate lobby bar that can accommodate up to 30 guests.

Tracy is a great medium between groups and the hotels to ensure that any expectations are understood, organized, and can be achieved by all parties involved. Her dedication to communication is one of her strongest assets and she’s always trying to figure out new ways to celebrate special occasions by utilizing her experience and your ideas.

We had our wedding here last July. Originally we were planning to have our ceremony outside but it ended up raining on our wedding day. Ashely and the rest of the 16 Bay View team worked quickly to transform The View into a beautiful ceremony space! They opened The Vintage Room to allow our guests a place to gather while they changed The View from the ceremony to the cocktail hour. We could not have gotten through that day without Ashley. She made everything run smoothly and seem effortless. Ashley and the rest of the team made the day completely stress free and perfect! It's six months later and we can’t believe we ever had a different ceremony plan. Having the ceremony on The View turned out better than we could have dreamed. Even with the rain it was gorgeous and made our wedding even more intimate. When planning our wedding we knew that the food and drinks were a big part of it for us. The chef, Andrea, worked with us in advance to come up with a completely custom menu before we did our in person tasting. The food was INCREDIBLE. We cannot say that enough! All of our guests asked about the chef and talked about how amazing the food was. Several of our friends have said it was the best food they have ever had at an event. Andrea also went out of her way to help us get the craft beer that we wanted from some of our favorite Maine breweries. The head bartender and mixologist at the time (Red) worked with us to create three incredible cocktails that could also be served as a non alcoholic version. Our tasting night with Andrea and Red was probably our best memory from planning our wedding. They are truly artists and helped us give our guests the experience that we had dreamed for our day. It was a joy to work with this team from the beginning to the end.

We cannot say enough great things about 16 Bay View and all the help Audrey gave us in planning our special day along the way! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous; we had our reception at The View, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The chef also worked with us to form our perfect menu for the day based on what we wanted! The food was a HUGE highlight of the day, and it also felt very personal to us as a couple since there were several of our favorite dishes. Finally, I CANNOT say enough great things about how wonderful Audrey and the rest of their team was to work with! We got married in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and Audrey kept me looped in and reassured throughout, working with us to make sure we could still safely celebrate our day. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, and we were so unbelievably happy with how everything turned out! For a smaller wedding in Camden, there is no place better than The View.

16 Bayview was the perfect setting for our intimate wedding. Audrey, the wedding coordinator and Andrea the chef made sure that our guests were welcome and well fed. Amazing service and a wonderful experience!
