was nice. The biggest worry for me was the setup and cleanup for the venue so I was really glad to have Tia and Annica help me with that. Working with Steven at the beginning was also good - I can tell how passionate he is about his business and I appreciate his honesty, to-the-point, no-BS approach to the wedding industry lol! Especially because my husband and I don't live in Omaha, it was nice having this to help - i almost wish I would have done the month of package instead because that was when everything was really busy. The only thing I had a little trouble with was I felt like the coordinators pulled me aside a bit too often at the reception. I would get nervous every time they said hey we need to chat with you, my first thought was oh no something is wrong. And i didn't really like feeling that way so I wish we could have just talked after the wedding because some of it could have waited I felt (telling me rentals didn't show up... stuff like that where you can't really do anything about it in that very moment). By the end of the night, I was super overwhelmed and tired from such a long day, and I was still getting questions on where things go in what car which made me irritated because we had gone over that prior to the wedding. so my husband helped them with that while I went to bed but I was just a little frustrated because I had provided SO much detail on everything prior to the day of that I really hoped I didn't have to get pulled aside to hammer things out even though I know they were only trying to help and I appreciate that. Overall, I am glad I worked with 402 Events for my wedding especially because of the setup and clean-up services. If you are a bride that doesn't want to have to be in charge of everything on the day then they will help you. Thank you!

en I booked the Desire (partial planning) package, I anticipated a few short meetings to answer questions and then help with day of coordination. What I got was a true wedding consultant and planner, there to answer all of my questions and help with planning along the way, as well as an awesome team to make sure everything (I truly mean everything) went smoothly the day of our wedding. Jordan helped communicate with vendors, source items we needed to purchase for favors/decor, and any other crazy thing I came up with (including having our alma mater’s mascot at the reception)! She also helped to design and coordinate our rehearsal dinner. The day of, her team worked all day to make sure everything went perfectly, from the ceremony to the reception, helping to transport and set up items at our different venues. At the reception, the team brought my husband and I our dinner and drinks through the night and made sure we stayed on schedule. THANK YOU to Jordan and her incredible staff for all their help to make our perfect day a reality.

ired with Sarah who unfortunately was inexperienced. We received several complaints from our vendors including our florist, photographer, DJ, Bus Rental company and Venue. She confused our vendors, was not prepared for meetings, and provided more chaos than organization. I stepped in and managed all our vendors to ensure there was no confusion with expectations. For same day coordination my venue stepped in and managed the day, including 402 Events to ensure everything went over smooth. I provided direct feedback to the owner following the wedding of my dissatisfaction and that I could provide examples from vendor feedback, texts and emails and he stated he would research and get back to me approximately 3 weeks or so. I sent an email 3 weeks later to get an update to find out that he needs more time due to personal issues, being too busy and coordination of his internal employees’ schedules to meet with them to get feedback, taking several weeks additionally to address. By the time this is addressed, all the issues/concerns become stale. The customer service has been far from acceptable as his company was paid upfront for the work done, however I paid $750 for a service that I did not receive. Although the lighting draping and backdrop were provided as discussed, the consultative package and customer service, I would not recommend as you should not have to wait for your concerns to be addressed.

I'm so glad that we chose to budget for 402 as it dramatically impacted the success of our September wedding weekend, which was tip toeing around the COVID pandemic. I would consider myself highly detail-oriented/Type A - if we document how something should go or a detail that can't be missed, I expect it to be executed. If this sounds like you, then you need Colleen! I worked closely with Colleen to perfect our wedding weekend timeline (we had events Friday through Sunday - logistics galore!) and hire the remaining vendors that we needed. In hindsight, our Seattle contact wouldn't have been nearly as resourceful or well-versed as Colleen. In addition to facilitating several details with vendors, I was so impressed with the commitment and time Colleen put into price shopping - especially when we unexpectedly needed several rentals - a detail that surely would've been caught sooner if we had hired 402 sooner! I enjoyed the centralized documentation in Google Drive, and always appreciated Colleen triaging my emails with details here and there. I felt like I could ask Colleen candid questions without judgment or persuasion. Wedding planning with Colleen was always professional and yet somehow always felt like planning with your best friend who was an expert at these things. Another benefit of hiring 402 was that we were able to hire bartenders/servers at the last minute for our cocktail welcome reception the evening before our wedding. We didn't necessarily need bartenders to regulate alcohol (it was at our home), but they handled keeping everything stocked, replenishing ice to keep things cold, ensuring everything looked nice, picking up trash -- and most importantly ensured my house wasn't trashed for when we got back home after the big wedding weekend. This took a huge burden off my bridal party, as well, allowing all wedding guests to truly enjoy the evening and focus on socializing. In the weeks after our wedding, our family and friends sing high praises of Colleen. In fact, my mom still can't remember most of our bridal party's names -- but she can tell you all about Colleen. I've learned of little details here and there of how she saved the day without me having a clue it was ever an issue. Her quick problem solving and immaculate attention to detail was exactly what I needed to be at ease the day-of but also to be proud looking back on all the little details we knocked out of the park. I really enjoyed the whole wedding weekend, as if I were my own guest, because everything was handled. She ran some last minute day-of errands for us that were executed like a breeze. Her partner, Jordan, was also super helpful for the last minute things that inevitably crept up. Planning our wedding was a lot of work and borderline exhausting but the actual wedding weekend itself was absolutely perfect and without a doubt due to the master orchestration that Colleen led.

Not only were they a great value, Steven, Colleen, and team went literally ABOVE AND BEYOND what my husband and I could ever have imagined. They did lighting, celing draping and chandelier effects, as well as overall event setup/teardown, coordination, and management. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Having a day-of-coordinator at the event gave us piece of mind and allowed us to relax, knowing that Autumn was capable of handling any issues that came up. d that our wedding was an event....it really was a true production. We had two entertainers with riders that 402 Event Services executed perfectly! They handled the coordinating of flights, accommodations, security, equipment, sound checks, lighting, menus, and a host of other items. We were engaged on New Years Eve and shortly afterwards I was diagnosed with Cancer. 402 Event Services became the GOAT (greatest of all time). They were very professional yet very personable. Their list of vendors were amazing as they exercised the same level of professionalism. We received many compliments on our invitations as they set the stage for what was to come. We would say Yes/No, approve and pay which was exactly what I needed. We were contemplating postponing our wedding due to my health. However, they allowed me to be stress-free and focus on healing.
