A Perfect Image Photography & Videography

We used A perfect Image for our May 25 2018 wedding for photography and videography and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. Our pictures are beautiful and our only complaint is How difficult it is to choose which photos to include in our album, as there are so many wonderful shots to choose from! We really enjoy being able to watch the video and relive the moment through the Albums every chance we get. Vladi has been beyond amazing, is very responsive and very flexible to work with! We recommend this group to anyone planning a special occasion!

We can't say enough good things about A Perfect Image! They went above and beyond to accommodate all of the changes we had to make due to COVID (including adding a photography package at the last minute when our photographer cancelled) and to make sure we and all our guests felt safe and comfortable. The photos and videos came out beautifully! Vladi is so easy to work with -- super communicative and friendly! Vladi/API bore with us as our wedding changed from 150 to guests to 20, when we requested that guests be masked even in photos, and for a million other changes. They rolled with the punches (and the countless emails and phone calls) and still delivered amazing service and final product. We highly recommend A Perfect Image to document your special day!

Right from our consultation, Vladi wowed us with his expertise, professionalism and quality of work. We arranged for a photo session with Vladi for our seating chart, and even though the text part on the picture was uncharted territory, he envisioned what we needed and the outcome was spectacular! Vladi has a great team of photographers he works with, and had Dani Shirtcliff assigned for our wedding. Dani was a delight to work with on a very busy day. Dani has a calming affect and a funny but professional way to make taking pictures less stressful and more fun and natural. We were so glad we chose Perfect Image for pictures and video of our daughters' wedding! We loved their portfolio, and they were so friendly and accommodating. Add to that their experience and creativity and it was a great combination. The pictures and video were both absolutely perfect!

We use perfect image to photograph our wedding. I must say we are more than pleased with what we got. They worked with us and did what we wanted. They were friendly and down to earth. We didn't have the traditional wedding but it didn't seem to stop them from capturing every moment. I would highly recommend them for any wedding.

Vladi and his team were amazing! His attentiveness to detail made my wedding pictures look amazing. From the first time we met and went over things to the actual day, the communication was superb. He is probably the BEST in the North Shore!

Vladi was absolutely amazing to work with. First, he photographed my engagement photos in November 2014. We were in the Seaport area in Boston, on an extremely windy and freezing day. I believe it snowed and rained. Vladi still captured the most unreal pictures. Moving forward 2 years to October, 29 2016, Vladi photographed my wedding. He literally made my photography dreams come true. He made sure we got every photo we wanted and had clever and creative ideas. The passion he has for his work is phenomenal. There was a photo I really wanted, but wasn't sure if we had enough time and he said, "It's your day, lets do it!" He was just so enthusiastic and his energy was contagious. My husband isn't the type that enjoys lots of photos being taken and we both had an absolute ball! I would recommend Vladi to any bride. His years and years of skills and wonderful personality is truly unbeatable. Walking into his studio was one of the best choices we made. Thank you Vladi!!

Great overall experience

Vladi is a wonderful man to work with and his pictures came out great! He is very friendly and personable and his rates are reasonable. I recommend him for both photography and videography.

Vhladi and his team were excellent. We hired him to make our wedding video and it was the best decision we made. Your wedding day flies by so quickly and a lot of it seems like a blurr. After watching our video we felt like we got to relive the entire day all over. They did such a great job making the video into a movie, fitting in some of our favorite music along the way. Vhladi even interviewed each of our wedding guests, which was awesome/hilarious to watch. When I had requested blue ray DVDs and came to find our blue ray player was broken, Vhladi made us all new copies in DVD form and let me keep one of the blue rays incase someone in our family might want it...free of charge. They are truly a great company!

Vladi was our photographer for our wedding. He was awesome!! We discussed prior to our wedding what photos would be most important to us. Then he would make a point to photograph the moments that we didnt want to miss. Our wedding was in York Maine and he photographed us waking along the beach and was very creative to capture some cool romantic shots. We also had a 1965 Ford Mustang as our Limo and the shots he took were so good we had one made into a Canvas print. I was so happy with the Storybook Album they designed for us. I would highly recommend Perfect Image!!! Thank you Vladi for being part of our day.

A Perfect Image was absolutely wonderful. I worked with the owner, Vladi Gorchev, and he was very responsive, punctual, and easy to work with. We had a pretty small daytime spring backyard wedding and Vladi was just great. The photographs are absolutely beautiful he got all the images that we requested. I hired Vladi for just part of the day (by the hour) and he captured all the photos I could want in that time. My guests also thought he was great. You can tell by his portfolio that he does quality work. His prices are very fair and as he puts it in the middle range. For the quality the price is very good and I would definitely recommend A Perfect Image.

My husband and I can't express how grateful we are to Vladi and the team we worked with. Vladi was very receptive to our needs and requests early on. He made sure to pass along some of our requests to Michael, our photographer. One of our requests was to try to get a group picture of all of our guests. That was a lot easier said than done! It's not easy getting all the guests all in one location because guests trickle in and once you're at the venue everything is timed. Michael was wonderful though. He called early in the morning to reassure me that he was on his way, arrived early, and really did everything in his power to ensure all my wishes came true. Even though I didn't get a group picture with all the guests, Michael made it possible to get several pictures with all my guests. We went table to table and took group photos before and after dinner - he was just so professional and understanding even though it interrupted his dinner. I can't speak highly enough about him. As the evening came to an end, I just wanted that one last shot outside and again he was very willing with a very kind disposition. Colby was our videographer. He was also very punctual and had a very positive demeanor about him. He was more in the background scene which is to be expected with videographers. He was able to capture beautiful moments in an unobtrusive manner. He was able to get a landscape view of my neighborhood, church, and venue. The video came out very nice. I'm especially in love with my 5 minute video clip. They did such an amazing job putting together the landscapes, with the special moments of the day. I love watching it so much I wanted it in video format and Vladi made it happen. He even showed up unexpectedly to help out on our wedding day! I highly recommend A Perfect Image to everyone!

We decided late in the game that we wanted to have a videographer for our ceremony only. We had already booked a photographer but found Perfect Image online and initiated communication about their availability. We decided to book them at a half-day rate which was very reasonable. We did find that communication was inconsistent (before we booked we got called multiple times per week about our interest, then the week before the wedding we had to reach out to them to confirm because we hadn't heard back in quite some time). The owner is definitely easier to reach by phone than by email. I did not use them for photography so can't speak to this service. Overall they provided what we asked them to, not with any spectacular service but the quality and the value certainly met our expectations.

My husband and I got married 10/25/14. We are very happy with our photo's and video. The quality is superb we couldn't of asked for a better turn out. Vladi is very friendly and very accommodating and will work within your budget. I would recommend Vladi and his team any day of the week!!

Vladi was amazing! He was very prompt and willing to take any pictures that we wanted. He captured the best moments of the wedding. The pictures turned out amazing and I couldn't have asked for more. He has a great eye to determine where the best pictures to take should be. I would definitely recommend Vladi and A Perfect Image Studio to any bride that is getting married in the Boston area.

My husband and I got married in Nahant and just picked up our final products from Vladi. They came out fantastic. We couldn't be happier with our decision to use Perfect Image. Vladi is an absolute pleasure to work with. My husband and I both work at upscale hotels in Boston and know the wedding business well. I have seen countless pushy and arrogant photographers. Not Vladi though. He fulfilled all of our requests when asked and still managed to stay out of the way. We also shopped around for quite some time to find a photographer and found that Vladi had as good or better prices than anyone else. I wish I could give him 6 stars!

Vladi was helpful right from the start; warm, open, spent lots of time with us reviewing options, never any pressure. On the wedding day, he was there from the time I was getting ready until the DJ finished the final song. He captured fantastic candids and overall outstanding photographs that all around. Vladi was so very professional, polite and kind. Weeks after the wedding, Vladi and his staff have continued to be responsive, warm and professional as we made decisions about albums, framing, etc. I have no complaints. I recommend A Perfect Image without reservation.

I had a wedding on Saturday in early January. Vladi gave us an excellent discount because it was winter. We were able to get him with only 6 weeks notice. Vladi is very good at working quickly and captured all the specific photo requests that we had. The videographer was also very good at not interfering with the flow of the wedding. We were blown away by the quality of the photos and of the video. There was an audio problem at the end of our ceremony, so the video did not contain the whole thing. However, Vladi and his team did an excellent job editing the video that no one would have noticed this problem if he hadn't told us. His prices are very fair and offers a variety of packages and services. We opted to hire him by the hour rather than buying a package. I think that many photographers will try to convince you that you need 8 or more hours of photography coverage... get a good photographer who works quickly and you won't need to spend a fortune!

Wedding photography with Vladi. Very punctual, showed up on time and immediately ready to start photographing bride getting ready. Independently moved around furniture etc. to create the optimal scenery for picture taking at the bride's home. Caught all special moments requested previously by bride. Highly organized and willing to work closely with the bride and additional vendors as needed.

I hired Vladi to photograph my second reception(our ceremony and initial reception took place in DE, my family is all in MA) The reception took place at the Chelmsford Radisson, and Vladi did a fantastic job getting every shot I could possibly ask for, and even had no complaints when I requested a few abnormal photos, including some silly ones and one with my grandmother, my husband's grandmother, and my uncle's mother-in-law, who is like another grandmother to me. He was very professional and accomodating. He's even willing to incorporate the photos from our DE ceremony and celebration in the album as I was unhappy with the album the DE photographer created. I also am happy with the fact that through using A Perfect Image, I am the one designing the album the way I wish to have it. NEVER let someone else design YOUR wedding album without you right there to provide YOUR input!

I have no words to say how great Vladi was on our wedding day. He made me and my husband feel very comfortable and we loved all the pictures. He was great with every request we asked for. He took advantage of the beautiful weather and he did a great job capturing the special moments. From Start to Finish he made us feel comfortable and that it was all about us! I would recommend Vladi to any bride, he does a beautiful job.

My wife and I are newly married and were referred to Perfect Image Photography to talk with the owner, a guy named Vladi, for our wedding pictures - what a mistake! Our wedding was at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem and the location couldn't have been more beautiful. We spent hours with Vladi explaining what we were hoping for, asking if this was something he could do, planning for what pictures needed to be taken and how. During the meeting Vladi said yes, yes, yes...he understood....he's done dozens of weddings at the museum......he has the best photographers in the area....he is so proud of his work...... Well, when our special day came it was very clear that the photographer and Vladi either didn't talk or the photographer didn't care because he did nothing we asked for, we had to give him constant direction and eventually the pictures came out horrible - looking like a corny 80's wedding and nothing like we had planned. We were very upset, realized that we can't go back and re-take pictures, and went to meet with Vladi after a two hour phone conversation where Vladi basically talked in circles. Our meeting involved Vladi trying to sales-pitch what a great photographer his guy is, how proud he is of the pictures, how much experience he and his photographer has, two more hours of his resume. PLEASE, do not waste your money or have your special day dependent on a man and company that do not care - DO NOT BELIEVE VLADI WHEN HE GIVES YOU HIS MAJOR SALES PITCH ABOUT HIS RESUME AND HOW GREAT HE IS. Our pictures look like they are from a bad 80's movie where the photographer is focused on all the wrong things.

VERY NICE ATTENTIVE

He saw that I was nervous so he made me laugh, which made the pictures more real. He taught me how to pose so the pictures would come out looking good, but didn't look like I was posing.;Very expensive. I may rethink the package that we got if I had to do it all over again.

He worked well with our large wedding party.;We would have liked better portraits of the bride and groom and more candids.

They were easy to work with ( it was a husband and wife team) they were accomidating and would even show us a few of the pictures they took.

The photographer was extremely professional. He was on time professionally dressed and took the photos that we asked him to.;I had picked out a particular photographer that I wanted because I loved his style of photography from looking through the different portfolios. Two months before the wedding I was called and told the photographer moved out of state and they were assigning a new photographer to me. I was never given the opportunity to meet with the new photographer or review his portfolio. I assume that due to it being the last minute they gave me whomever was not booked for that day. The new photographer though very professional just didn't have the same style as the one I originally picked out. I was looking for more of a artsy/photojournalistic approach to my wedding and I got very traditional stiff all posed pictures. Unfortunately when you are in the middle of your wedding it's not the time to think about what pictures the photographer is taking so you don't find out until everything is done and you get your pictures.

Can't make comments about the pictures since I have yet to see them.;Shelly our photographer contacted me for the first time 2 days before the wedding which I expected to happen sooner. She did not follow some of my requests.

;The Perfect Image Photography Studio was employed the worst photographer that I have ever worked with. He did not take family pictured as was requested. He took pictures of glasses with drinks in them on one of the reception tables and missed one of my bridesmaids and ushers as they were being introduced into the hall at the beginning of the wedding. I wouldn't mind but I only had two ushers and two bridemaids. He did not take any family pictures he kept saying he was going to take them when we went upstairs to the photography room but never took them. He never took a picture of mine and my husband's hands showing our rings. When I told this to the owner of the studio he said we could come into the studio and retake those. Well we can not do that because my husband passed away suddenly after we got back from our honeymoon. I had to retain a lawyer to get back some of my money and due to the tremendous stress that I have been under due to the circumstances we settled for less that a 1/3 refund of the total package and I have nothing for the money I spent. THE PERFECT IMAGE PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO WAS THE WORST PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AND I WILL MAKE SURE THAT ANYONE I KNOW THAT IS THINKING ABOUT THEM FOR PHOTOGRAPHY SHOULD USE SOMEONE ELSE.
