LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Juli and her team! My husband and I worked with her for our wedding on 10/15/2022 and are so happy that we did. From start to finish, Juli was incredible to work with. She gave incredible advice on how to keep things within our budget as well as the type of flowers we may want for the look we like, etc. She is truly SUCH a pro and an expert and I can't recommend her enough. Not only is she so knowledgable, but she is also incredibly creative and so kind and easy to work with on top of that. Plus, as you can see from her body of work, the florals are stunning. We got SO many compliments on all of the florals - from the bouquets to the ceremony pieces and the arrangements on all of the tables - and are still getting compliments on them months later. We didn’t have a lot of real flowers at our wedding, so my order was small. But Juli was amazing and so kind. We talked a year before the wedding about my vision and what I wanted and she said don’t worry about anything! It’ll be great and there the day of. I trusted her and showed up to the Venue and everything she brought was gorgeous! Our bouquets were so lovely and exactly what I wanted. My sweet heart table arrangement was sooo beautiful. I couldn’t stop looking at it while we were eating. Definitely would recommend!

Juli is absolutely amazing to work with and I wish I could have met her sooner while planning our wedding. In our first meeting she was able to understand our needs and budget then make recommendations that helped ease out the stress my now husband and I were having with planning. The day of our wedding, last August 21st, the flowers were incredibly beautiful and she was also so patient and able to accommodate some last minute add ons we needed, not to mention her outstanding work ethic. Juli understood my vision and made my winter blue flowers come to life! She was wonderful to work with and created the most beautiful, floral arrangement for our ceremony arch. I am really not sure where to even start because of what Juli and her mom did for me and my now husband! We had to cancel our big Chicago wedding due to COVID and moved our wedding to the northwoods of Wisconsin and significantly downsized our guest count and need for flowers. Juli didn't care, she drove my flowers almost 6 hours from Chicago to Wisconsin...in the snow. She wanted to ensure I had the flowers of my dreams. The flowers were INCREDIBLE, I can't even put into words how amazing they were. Everyone is STILL talking about them because they were that stunning. We will never use another florist for any of our flower needs, Juli and her mom have earned customers for life. Please use them for your wedding or any other event, you will be thrilled!!

Juli and her mother are absolute angels. I really wanted to use a neighborhood vendor when I got married and boy was I lucky to have found A Pretty Flower just down the street! From the initial consultation, Juli was so thorough. I had some ideas, but nothing firm and Juli took my inspiration and made it so much better than I could have imagined. I appreciated that the team was not afraid to give their opinions to enhance the mood and overall vibe of the florals for the wedding. I loved working with them so much and what's great is they are the gift that keeps on giving- they have a beautiful shop full of happy plants and blooms that you can take home with you forever.

I absolutely had to write a review for A Pretty Flower. The flowers provided were incredible, more beautiful than I could have imagined. Juli and her Mom, Dragica, made the day perfect. (They were also amazing about working with us when we had to switch our plans from a hotel, in June, to a super small backyard wedding, in August.) Even though at first I wasn't really sure what I wanted, they were very helpful and were able to create beautiful and colorful arrangements that popped beautifully in person and in pictures. The Chuppah they put together was absolutely perfect and incredibly pretty, they were able to include my Grandpa's prayer shawl! . They also provided greenery wrapped around the deck banisters, that really brought everything together. All the flowers looked so amazing, I can't thank them enough!

Juli and her mom are SPECTACULAR. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. From their creativity, professionalism, and execution - they're the best. They created a beautiful and unique vision for my wedding day that I will always cherish. They understand how to balance trend with classic looks, and I swear they must be mind-readers too! Juli was fantastic to work with! She's extremely intelligent and knowledgeable, but is able to relay that information to something we could understand about how certain flower arrangements work best and last longest. Being married at a local church she knew all the in's and out's of what would pop nice and be appropriate for that setting. Their flower delivery was on time and their set up was super fast and efficient. Just in a few meetings with them, we knew we were going to have a great set up that would last. The flowers are so beautiful and are holding up very well two days later so we decided to have them preserved!

I could not recommend A Pretty Flower enough for your wedding needs! I recently got married at the Dank Haus in Lincoln Square and was looking for a local florist (tried my best to keep all my vendors local). My mom and I went in and met with Juli and her mother and they listened to what we wanted and worked with me to come up with floral that would fit my budget. I never thought I would be able to have flowers for a wedding party of 17 + beautiful centerpieces for 30 tables (200+ wedding). They really seemed to care and I loved that they worked together as a mother/daughter team. We came up with a great plan for round tables but a few weeks before my tables changed to rectangle and I had to re-think my entire order. Juli was so helpful in brain storming different ways to change the centerpieces and was honest about what would work in my budget and what would be worth raising my budget. I ended up with the most gorgeous floral arrangements I have ever seen and an incredible cascading bouquet. Since I lived down the street, Juli even did separate drop offs for the wedding party flowers at noon and the flowers to the venue at 2pm. Highly recommend!

Juli, her Mom, and the staff at A Pretty Flower are absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for the gorgeous floral arrangements for our wedding, they fully completed the vision of our big day! We ordered 1 bridal bouquet, 2 wrist corsages, 6 boutonniers, 4 smaller, and 4 larger arrangements (no bridesmaids' bouquets since I didn't have any). These ladies utilize the best quality of flowers because not only did the arrangements hold up for the entire day (nothing wilted), but also for the following week! Guests who took home the smaller arrangements sent us photos days later, and the flowers looked fresh and pristine! My bouquet also looked beautiful the whole day, each flower was so perfect in bloom size, and color matched so well that my dad was convinced they were high-end silk flowers until he touched them, and I loved the crystal wrap over the stems, it complimented my dress :D !! Juli and her mom are extremely knowledgeable, and made wonderful suggestions on how to create gorgeous arrangements while staying within our budget! They brought the flowers in two deliveries, the personal flowers in the morning and also set up the ceremony and reception in the afternoon, ALL ON TIME! Thank you again ladies, you really made our day unforgettable! I saved a few flowers from my bouquet and plan on creating a paperweight with those blooms!

I cannot say enough about working with this business. Everything you could want, from flexible pricing up to truly alleviating stress for myself and my husband. Juli goes beyond what a florist and decor artist needs to be - all I had to do was pick flowers, drop off our decor, and she made our wedding happen. Because of her and her team, our wedding was truly beautiful. If you need a chuppah for your wedding as well, it is a hand sewn beauty, and we still get comments on it every time we see someone who came to our wedding. Lastly - these are truly wonderful people. They will make you tea when you are stressed and be there for you every step of the way. It was more than I expected and choosing this business was the best decision we made for our wedding by far.

Juli and her mom went above and beyond to make sure the flowers on my wedding day were absolutely perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I initially wasn't sure what I wanted, I could be very indecisive. I ended up giving Juli a few adjectives to describe the kind of feeling/vibe I was going for. With these words (one being 'fertile' hahaha), and taking into consideration my personality, the colors I had chosen for my bridesmaids, AND our venue, Juli created the most beautiful bouquets. They were just flawless and exactly what I had envisioned, even though I initially couldn't get that vision out. Juli helped so much with that. She is super creative and professional, but she will also make you feel like you've known her for years. I cannot recommend her more. Literally, the sweetest florists you could ask for. Julie, Dragica and the team are truely amazing at what they do. Whether you need a traditional bouquet, a potted plant that will out-live the recipient or a one-of-a-kind event floral design, get with these lovely people!

I cannot say enough good things about Juli. I first heard about her and A Pretty Flower when she did the florals for my best friend's wedding in 2018. My best friend was raving about how easy she was to work with and what a rare gem Juli was/is during an otherwise chaotic planning time. After hiring to provide the florals for my own wedding in May of 2019, I could not agree more. I gave her several Pinterest shots and a general overall vibe knowing absolutely nothing about florals/what was in season/names of flowers, and she knocked it out of the park. Juli was able to provide the "matching, but not identical" look I so desperately craved and she totally exceeded my expectations. The only thing I regret is that I was not there to meet her when she dropped off the flowers (bridal timing issue, NOT Juli's) because I wanted to give her the biggest hug. 1000% recommend her services for your wedding, your baby shower, your treat yo-self day...anytime you need flowers, she's the one to call.

I absolutely LOVE Juli and her mother who own this shop. Juli is such a warm and welcoming person; I felt like we were longtime friends after our first meeting. I didn’t have specific flowers that I had to have in my wedding (actually we had talked about not having any flowers at all), but after seeing the beautiful arrangement ideas Juli had and for such a great price, I knew it would be worth it. For the bridesmaids I wanted simple greenery with a bit of white since the girls were wearing red and I did not want very big bouquets for them. Originally I said baby’s breath would be fine, but she introduced me to something I liked even more that was similar and cheaper: wax flowers. Those with the greenery were exactly the look I wanted. And I cannot rave enough about my bouquet! I did not want a traditional round one that I had seen with so many brides, but instead opted for an elaborate cascading one to compliment the very simple wedding dress I had picked. As with the bridesmaid’s flowers, she nailed it! The color palette, shape, and classy aesthetic was exactly what I wanted and it was by far the most beautiful bouquet I’ve ever seen in a wedding. I had told her how the one thing I really wanted, but felt was too expensive was a circular arch. Most places only carry standard arches and I only found a couple round arches that you could rent but they were expensive. Juli decided she loved the idea so much and wanted to make my dream come true that she said she would take on the project of making the arch and then renting it to me for a super reasonable price! She would also fill it with lovely foliage so it looked full and came out great in pictures. My best friend who is getting married this year loved my flowers so much she is hiring Juli as well! If you are on the fence about flowers because you want to keep cost down and/or you just want the most beautiful arrangements that are catered to your style from the sweetest people, go talk to Juli!

An adorable flower shop in the Lincoln Square area. We used them for our wedding and the flowers were BEAUTIFUL... the bouquets, corsages, table pieces, dog collar (ring bearer) and flower girl accessories were AMAZING and we received several compliments. I highly recommend using them for any event!

A Pretty Flower was great: easy to work with, stunning end-product, and did everything they could to make my wedding beautiful and stress-free! I worked with Juli, wwe had an initial consultation where we discussed my preferences and budget. She then put together a proposal for my review. I loved her ideas and I especially love that she respected my (very modest) budget. She did not try to upsell me or make me feel like we weren't doing/spending enough. She assured me that our end product would be beautiful, which it was! The flowers for the wedding were gorgeous. And, she went the extra mile day-of: long story short the floors at our venue were not even. She had to re-plan the floorplan of the arrangements to ensure that they would remain balanced and not topple over. I really appreciated that she did on-the-spot troubleshooting to ensure that things worked out.

A Pretty Flower was great to work with - they provided flowers and a chuppah for our wedding on March 25. Juli met with me and created beautiful arrangements and bouquets that really captured what I was looking for. The chuppah they provided was stunning! Very easy to work with and I would absolutely recommend them.
