We are so happy we chose Arol to be our wedding photographer! From our engagement shoot to the wedding he was awesome to work with and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. All of our pictures came amazingly and truly capture the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with him and are so glad we will have his pictures to look back on forever.

Arol was a recommended vendor from our venue, Lost Mission, and when we saw his portfolio, we knew we’d found exactly what we were looking for. “Light and airy” wedding photos can be beautiful, but we wanted something true to our experience and to remember our day in vivid color. Arol captured exactly that — our happiest moments in rich color. He is such a pro, he quickly moved through family photos so we could get to our reception and it felt like he was a guest instead of a vendor! My husband can be uncomfy in front of a camera, but he never once showed it when we were working with Arol. I genuinely cannot say enough good things about how fantastic and kind he was and how happy we are to have our day preserved by him!

Prior to my wedding, I had a friend advise me not to cheap out on wedding pictures. Lucky for me, Arol was gracious enough to offer me an awesome deal while providing premium photography and videography. Pictures can be tricky and very subjective, but I am glad to say that I do not regret hiring Arol (and his videographer) whatsoever and whole-heartedly recommend this talented photographer. Like I said, pictures can be highly subjective. But you know a photographer is good when EVERYONE (that I knew) can 100% agree that the pictures taken by Arol were amazing. Arol captured moments I didn't realize were moments. The resolution of his pictures were also amazing. Both the slide show and the video highlight really captured the vibe and atmosphere of that night. He was also cool to talk to. If you want some premium, amazing quality, memorable moments captured, look no further and hire this gentleman. He's got some skills.

Highly recommend AJH Photography for your wedding!! We got married at Vista West Ranch in February and Arol perfectly captured every moment of our special day! He was wonderful to work with and made the wedding and bridal photo process so easy!

AJ is amazing!! We got married at Valhalla and Camp Richardson in South Lake Tahoe and he captured all the beauty the area had to offer, as well as all the fun moments we had!! He is so good at what he does and capturing all the best moments, that we barely knew he was there because he didn’t have to be in our faces. He also didn’t have to use obnoxious lighting or flashes to get great photos of us. He truly is a genius at figuring out the perfect lighting and the best locations to get it. He was also very good at getting us to act natural during our poses. His direction was so good and natural that we didn’t feel awkward at all. We have looked at our photos over and over and just love them all! Our friends and family have also gushed about them. My groom is in the wedding industry and has worked with hundreds of photographers and AJ is by far one of the best!!! AJ is also very chill and kind, so it’s easy to have him with you throughout your wedding day. He really made things feel stress-free and worked with the time we allotted for photos beautifully. We were right on time with everything! Do yourself a favor and pick AJ as your photographer!! You won’t regret it!

Arol was the first vendor we hired for our wedding. I have been following his work for years, and was really excited to hire him for ours. We had a modest sized group (60 guests in total) due to Covid, and he did an amazing job of capturing the intimacy of the day (which was really important to me). He had great energy and was very efficient. I feel we got to completely enjoy the day and take it all in. He blended in well and did a tremendous job of bringing our guard down when we were taking out after wedding portraits. I shouldn't have to tell you that the photos look good. The truth is, they turned out amazing! We couldn't be happier!

Arol was a pleasure to work with through the whole process! We booked him early on during Covid, thinking at the time it wouldn't last long. Well that soon changed and we had to completely rework our schedule. We originally had a 3 day schedule planned with Arol and his videographer. Well things changed and we had to rework events and schedules. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect when I had to change our plans as our contract was pretty straight forward and I know some vendors can be unwilling to change without making it difficult or expensive. Well to our surprise Arol was so easy going and understanding and willing to work with our many changes! He took one thing off our plate during the stressful situation of planning a wedding during Covid. Needless to say we already had high praise for him going into the wedding, so he didn't have to do much to keep us happy....but he still blew it out of the water with his and his videographer's services! They were professional, on time, and did a great job of guiding us through the day to make sure we had the best video and pictures. He does a great job of putting everyone at ease so that the best pictures shine through. Also, he does an amazing job of guiding you through the photography process so that the best pictures come out; not to mention he takes great candid pictures! We had a baraat and he captured it so well!....even made me look like a good dancer... I mean when we got the pictures and videos we couldn't believe what they were able to capture! We couldn't have asked for anything more. Friends told me they couldn't get over the pictures and had to stop our video as they were tearing up. Additionally, I did a lot of research before picking him and can tell you I couldn't find much better. You pay a fair price but get far more than you pay for compared to other options I found, not just on the end result but on the professionalism and services Arol provides. If friends ever ask me who to use to capture special moments in their lives I won't hesitate to recommend Arol and his team!

This guy is a pro! My partner and I met Arol at an open house in Dripping Springs in Fall of 2019. We ended up hiring AJH for our end of year wedding and we were very impressed with everything. His wedding day presence was fantastic, and he was very attentive while being really easygoing. He worked well with the video crew, and to be honest, I was amazed that he managed to keep them out of the photos! The gallery came back to us over the weekend, and we are over the moon. They are so gorgeous! We are eagerly awaiting our album which should be arriving here in the next 3 weeks. Thank you for everything!

Arol helped my husband and I who are both camera shy truly love our wedding photos. I'm not a big planner and he definitely rolled with how our wedding day unfolded with ease. He kept things low stress and was great about directing us into beautiful shots. I was thrilled when I got my photos back. I haven't had photos that I loved this much since I was 15lbs lighter in high school. There are photographers who have nice cameras and then there are artists who have an eye for what's going to create a truly beautiful image and Arol is in the latter category. I highly recommend.

Arol was a dream to work with from start to finish! His obvious mastery with finding the *perfect* balance of light and shadow is what drew us in and he didn’t disappoint with our personal collection of photographs. He is a good combination of professional and personable and is extremely good at herding cats (aka multiple groups of post-cocktail hour buzzed relatives and bridal party) during the posed photos portion. You will NOT regret hiring this man.

There are not enough words for how wonderful Arol was! He was honest, efficient, and knowledgeable. He got us all the pictures we could’ve ever wanted and gave us plenty of time to attend our own cocktail hour!!! Which to me was a HUGE deal. He was seriously so incredible, I hope there’s a time in our life where we get to work with him again. Seriously such a treat.

We were amazed by Arol’s photos. The way he captured the light was incredible. He made everyone look amazing and really captured the beauty of Lost Mission. He was a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating when we had to reschedule due to COVID.

Arol was an absolute dream come true! He was so quick to respond to every question we had in the months leading up to the wedding. He was so professional the day of the wedding, and worked so well with everyone in the family. Arol did SUCH a great job of keeping the pace moving throughout the night and kept us on track. Our photographs could not have turned out better, my husband and I are so over the moon excited about them. I didn’t imagine in a million years that we would ever photograph so well! Arol is THE BEST. It's so hard to really describe how super happy we are with our wedding pictures. The entire experience of working with Arol was so fun. We had our engagement photos shot by Arol so when I was super blown away with those, I knew the wedding photos would be equally as awesome. Let me say that they were not equally as awesome... they were even better! Every detail I wanted Arol to capture was shot and he really took the time to capture so many special moments of my husband and I. It really helped that he had a second photographer with him so no precious moments worth capturing were missed. Another thing I really enjoyed about Arol was his professionalism and his responsiveness. He always got back to me in such a timely manner and it's hard to experience that these days! Arol is true professional through and through. He is not your typical wedding photographer. Yes, he will get your shot list, but he thrives on candids and capturing the true essence of the day. We could not be more happy with the final results. And to add in his efficiency on site, quick turn around post wedding and all-around positive attitude, it made for a truly rewarding experience. To equate it to sports, it was like he took our shot list and important moments and made a playbook out of them. He came on site with a game plan that he executed flawlessly. Our entire wedding party commented about how efficiently he moved from shot to shot and how friendly, yet direct, he was in adjusting each part of the shot. Even guests came up to us during the reception making comments. If you are looking for photos that are unique, candid and truly capture your day, Arol is your guy.

I dont even know where to begin because anything I say just does not do Arol and his amazing talent with the camera justice. We are very blessed that we found AJH Photography to capture our wedding. One of the most important aspects of this day was the pictures. Arol exceeded my expectations by 1000%. Not only do we have amazing pictures that will last for generations to come, but we also made a friend with memories to last a lifetime of our special day. Arol has a very gifted eye and a unique style compared to other photographers I checked out. He knows how to shot amazing angles and on the back end can edit and shade like a boss. The groom was anxious about the engagement shots and he made us feel extremely at ease during the session. Then a few days later we received hundreds of gorgeous photos. It was hard to pick our favorites!! His photos are quite beautiful; really they're a piece of art. Because of his previous work and our engagements I completely trusted Arol to capture everything on the big day. Arol got all the shots I asked for and was super chill the entire time. At dinner, our wedding party even told us that he was easy to work with and really efficient. We were so lucky have him shoot our wedding because our photos will last longer than anything else that day, and I will never regret choosing him as our photographer. He's truly amazing!

My mother has already asked about Arol shooting our family portrait later this year. If a happy mother-of-the-groom doesn't speak enough about the amazingly professional job Arol did, I don't know what does! Arol was so easy to work with. He came organized and was ready to knock out all the important shots so my husband and I had as much time as possible to spend dancing and celebrating with our guests. He was also practically a ghost during the ceremony! He got all the shots we could have wanted, but was so out of the way that our ceremony had the intimate feel we wanted, but was somehow captured like we were at a professional photo shoot. He got some very creative shots, including some great ones of my husband, me, and our dog. I would (and have!) recommended Arol to everyone. For one guy, he covered our wedding incredibly well. Let me start off with saying my husband and I are not the most photogenic and it is hard to get my other half to smile, but Arol was able to capture us and our relationship in the most natural way - with all of the smiles and REAL laughter because shooting with Arol is fun! My husband and I are absolutely in love with our wedding photos. Arol captured every special moment of the day. it's like he was everywhere at once. He is so easy to work with and you can tell that he genuinely loves his job and wants to make your big day special. He went above and beyond our exceptions.

We had a beautiful wedding out at the 1850 Settlement and it was so fun to have Arol share that day with us! He was really outgoing, professional and fun to work with. Prior to our wedding, I’d been following Arol’s IG page for some time. I fell in love with his work right way, and was not surprised when I saw his name on a list of recommended photographers I’d requested from my coordinator. We made the easy decision to book him for our engagement pictures and wedding day right away. Although my husband and I are EXTREMELY camera shy and absolutely dislike taking pictures, it was very important that everything be perfectly captured at our engagement session and wedding. Arol not only made us feel at ease, he selected the most beautiful backdrop (camp Ben) for our engagement pictures. It was exactly what I’d pictured and expressed to him. Our wedding day pictures...I don’t even have the words to accurately describe what an exceptional job Arol did at capturing our wedding day. Even our family, friends, and co-workers were blown away by our pictures! He has a very special eye and technique, that allows him to capture so many emotions and gorgeous images so perfectly. I found myself laughing, crying, and feeling smitten as I went through our pictures. I was finally able to put together the events of our wedding day which had been a total blur up to that point. Arol surpassed our expectations and we were so lucky he was available to capture these special moments. AJH Photography was recommended on our wedding venue's website. Arol promptly responded to my initial inquiry and to each concern I've had since. His quote was concise and reasonable, and the contract was clear and simple to complete via email. Arol was already at the venue when we arrived, and because he is familiar with the people there as well as the policies, he smoothly guided us through the process. Because we are not a young couple and this was not our first wedding, we wanted it to be very intimate (only 3 guests plus my very well-dressed dog) but still very beautiful and meaningful, and having a photographer who understood this allowed us to relax. Arol was very patient with and attentive to my dog, and captured his personality perfectly, including several shots just of him. While his ideas were professional and trendy, he was very open to the particular shots I wanted and very quick to set them up and shoot them. We never once felt like our small wedding was less important to him than the larger events he routinely photographs. We received access to our personal gallery exactly when promised and found it easy to navigate. I was pleasantly surprised to find each photograph in both color and black and white, which is so elegant. We wholeheartedly recommend AJH Photography for Arol's professionalism, incredible photography skills, integrity, and especially his sincere desire to provide customer satisfaction. He was a pleasure to work with, and our wedding pictures are beautiful.

Arol's photos are works of art! Once we saw a sample of his work, we immediately wanted him to be the one to memorialize our small, intimate, dawn wedding at Camp Lucy. Arol was very responsive with any questions or concerns we had both before and after our event. He knows how to work with light and the surroundings to create a depth to his photos that others miss. We fully trusted him to direct what photos would be taken, and we were not disappointed. I want to start off by saying that Arol is such an amazing photographer. He has such a talent to capture the magic in every picture. He was the ONLY photographer I wanted from the get go. So I was super excited when he was able to do our wedding. Very professional and has an easy spirit to work with. He has a passion for what he does and it shows in every picture he takes. Arol did an AMAZING job photographing our wedding! I booked him for my wedding after meeting him and seeing his work at an open house event and being very impressed. Arol was friendly with a contagious smile and his passion for his work was easy to see! Working with Arol on our wedding day was comfortable and fun. I’ve seen wedding photographers that seem to have a lot of downtime, standing in the corner waiting for the next event to capture. Not Arol! The many candid photos that he took throughout the day were some of my favorites. The photos are simply STUNNING! The effort he puts into getting the shots and the editing is what sets Arol apart from other photographers. The whole experience from the wedding day to receiving the finished product far exceeded our expectations!

I could not be happier with our photos. I wanted mostly candids, photojournalistic style, and that is exactly what we got. I asked for A TON of posed family photos before and he worked through them like a champ! He makes you feel so comfortable. I have worked with a lot of photographers and sometimes their ego can get in the way but that is not the case at all with Arol. He is so personable and professional at the same time. My mother is particularly critical of people and she even commented that he was by far the best vendor and even helped with moving a heater for her which is clearly not his job. He captured a lot of great photos of our guests, too, which I love being able to share with them. I could not recommend him more highly!

Arol is the best hands down. He showed up on time and was so helpful throughout the whole wedding. Every single photo came out perfect. We knew pretty quickly after we started researching wedding photographers that we loved the look of Arol’s pictures -- the rich colors and the way he uses light is just so beautiful and beats the typical washed out wedding pictures we saw on many other photographers websites. We did engagement photos with him about 7 months before the wedding. He was very easy to work with and made us immediately feel like we were his friends. He gave us lots of great direction. The pictures were amazing! This made us very excited to work with him for our wedding! Plus, these shots were very useful as we made our save the dates and other wedding stationery. We even had several printed and framed to use as decorations at the wedding. On our wedding day, Arol did a great job of picking out great locations for our first look and post-ceremony portraits, and these are some of my favorite shots we have. He was very good at blending in with everything going on and we enjoyed our day without feeling like a photographer was following us around everywhere. We just got back our wedding photos a few weeks ago now and we are thrilled with how they came out. We have over 1000 beautiful images to choose from to make our albums! We have received lots of compliments as well from friends and family viewing our pictures, with many asking how we found such a great photographer! Hiring Arol was a great choice for our wedding.

We picked AJH Photography because we wanted someone who could not only take great photos, but someone who could do really well with the dimmer lighting from an evening ceremony/reception. Arol did not disappoint! He was fun, professional, and very efficient....especially when it came to directing our (slightly disorganized) many family photos we requested. He somehow managed to vanish into the surroundings, but also be readily available for as many private, and candid photos that we wanted or needed. Arol shot both our engagements and our wedding. I knew going in that photography is where I was willing to invest for our big day, and, though I considered other photographers, I pretty much have known since before I even met the groom that Arol was going to be my photographer of choice. Let me tell you, he is worth every penny! He's professional, will capture beautiful images, knows his light, but is laid back enough to put you at ease in front of the camera. I can't thank him enough for capturing our day so spectacularly.

Arol was one of our favorite vendors we worked with during our wedding planning process. He was also one of the first vendors we booked, second only to the venue itself. We knew immediately that we wanted to book him (my now-husband, in particular, is picky about photography but flipped through one of Arol's albums at the venue - since he's the preferred photographer of our venue, another testament to his work - and said "This guy is amazing"). I can't talk enough about his 1) friendliness, 2) professionalism, and 3) photography skills. Like I said before, Arol is one of our favorite vendors to work with. He always responds promptly to emails (and I've had experiences where vendors take weeks...NOT Arol. Give him a day, max!) and has no problem talking to you over the phone and answering all of your questions (I had many! And he was so patient). His friendliness and easygoing attitude puts you at ease. But he's also so, so professional. For example, he told me I'd receive my photos within 6-8 weeks...well, I got them by week 5. Under promise, over deliver! And, of course, his photography skills are unparalleled. I appreciate that he does a mix of posed shots, candid shots, B/W, color, the whole gamut. He also has you fill out an informative shot sheet prior to the wedding so that you can articulate any particular shots you want and any other details he needs to know. I was extremely impressed by this thorough and excellent preparation. But anyway, back to his photography...the price is on the higher side, yes, but it is worth the splurge and is extremely fair for the quality AND sheer quantity of photos he provides you. Trust me, we were pinching pennies but AJH Photography was one investment we correctly believed was worth the price. I was impressed not only by how beautiful my photos were, but also by how many he provided. So many candids of my guests, as well as the posed family shots we'll treasure for years to come. AND, you get all the rights to the photos, which we were pleasantly surprised with. You don't need to order prints through him - he gives you all of the photos for you to do with as you wish. For that, the price also makes this such a good investment. I highly recommend Arol, can't say enough good things about him, obviously.

I hired AJH Photography for my little wedding at Chapel Dulcinea. I love photography, and even though I was having a small intimate wedding I wanted to have beautiful photos to remember the day by. I found AJH Photograph's website and fell in love with his style of photography. My husband hates having his picture taken, and only allowed it cause he knew how much it meant to me. I warned the photographer of this, and he said no problem. I cannot say enough about how well he conducted the photography of our ceremony. He was super quick, and wonderful at making my husband feel comfortable. As for the photos, I could not be happier! He is so good at what he does! Our session was pretty short and he knew exactly what vision he had for us and set right out to it! The pictures came out beautifully! Even my husband was very impressed! We wish we lived closer so I could have him do all of our family photos as well. Hire this photographer, I guarantee you will not regret it!

Hiring Arol was the best decision we made for our wedding. Arol was attentive and kind, and the photos turned out awesome. We couldn't be happier. I was a little nervous when it came to our portraits, but Arol's posing and lighting skills are seriously impressive. The only hard part of the whole process was selecting our favorite photos. He delivered about 2000 of them!

We were sold on Arol the second we saw his work on his website. He is truly talented and when you see his photos they are different and stand out so much from the rest of the photographers out there. My family was so impressed by how he was right there for every moment and to capture every guest. He was able to lead and direct everyone to get the best photos...even those of us who are not so naturally photogenic. We received about 1,000 photos in color and the same set all in black and white as well. They are absolutely stunning and we couldn't have picked a better photographer for our special day. About 4 years ago I got to see Leon Bridges in a venue with about 12 people. This was before he was selling out arenas, showing up on Grammy red carpets, and getting covers on Rolling Stone magazine. This is how I feel about Arol. He is so above and beyond talented, and should (and probably will soon) be doing the weddings of celebrities and royalty. If you know anything about photography, you don't need to read this review, because a few seconds on his website and you'll see that he's in a different league than the rest, and you've probably already booked him. Even without knowing much about photography, you'll still be able to feel his photos with your heart, and not just see them with your eyes. This is because he puts his heart into his craft. Something that websites also can't describe is personality. From the moment I met Arol I felt great. He has this happiness and passion that is truly contagious, and had he not been at my wedding taking photos, I would have wanted him there as a guest. He has so much fun taking the photos, and we all see and feel that, and it makes all of the photos that much better - because we were all happy to take them because he was behind the camera. Do yourself a favor and book him before he's too famous and too expensive for any of us to afford. He is without a doubt the best in the business, and by hiring him you will see this like we did.
