Joe and I had an amazing day and a beautiful wedding. We owe a lot of thanks for the staffs hard work and making our day so special. Vicki Boyer the banquet manager was lovely to work with. She made great recommendations for venders and the wedding day time line. She was a huge help. It will always be a day we remember and we are truly blessed how beautifully everything turned out.

We couldn't have been more happy with the venue as well as the event coordinators, Vicki and Julieann. They were so accommodating and made sure my day was absolutely perfect! The venue itself was incredible and so spacious. I can't thank the chef enough for all of his hard work as well. I cant even begin to describe how amazing it was. Everyone enjoyed it so much and there wasn't one single complaint. Having over 115 people to cook for and not having a single complaint is quite incredible. I can't wait to renew my vows in 5 years where it all started! Thanks again for such an amazing wedding!

Vicki and the staff were amazing! Our wedding day went so smoothly. Vicki made things so easy by providing us a timeline document that was quick to fill out. All she needed from me was linen colors, food choice, final # (which wasn't even needed till the week of which was great for last minute people who couldn't come), and which room layout we wanted. Vicki also checked in to make sure I did not need anything and provided only the best contact information for outside services i.e photographer, DJ, etc. She provided plenty of time to come in and set up the room with centerpieces the day before. The whole experience was so smooth and made for little to no stress on me. THANK YOU VICKI AND STAFF!

My wife and I celebrated our wedding with friends and family here, Vicki (our wedding planner) was amazing, the food was incredible, and the service was superb!

We had our wedding reception at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino & it was absolutely amazing. The venue was large, accommodating & beautiful. Our guests enjoyed the casino on site, multiple restaurants & an attached hotel. The event planner was wonderful & she helped to keep us on task & helped us plan out every detail. If we had to do it all over again we would book with them again in a heartbeat. Very highly recommend!

Our wedding here was very elegant and well thought-out. We appreciated having the hotel right there for our guests [especially our elderly guests], as it was convenient for them to return to their rooms to take a break when needed. The food at our reception was delicious! Everything was flawless and we couldn't be more appreciative of Vicki and Julianne. We recommend this venue to all of our friends and family!

We highly recommend this venue!!! The banquet manager , Vicki Boyer, was amazing to work with right from our first meeting. She listened to all of our requests and she went out of her way to accommodate us. She provided us with great local vendors [Lavender Lullabies photography, @Belle Pastry Design cakes, etc.] who also went out of their way to make our special day even more special. The food here is great and the venue is clean. Very friendly staff! We will definitely be holding more catered events here in the future.

From the first meeting right up until we collected our decorations the day after, Vicki and the Mohawk Akwesasne Casino resort team exceeded every single one of our expectations for our special day. We planned our wedding from the UK and so we had very limited time to meet with the people that were doing the majority of our planning and organisation for us, however we never felt out of control. From recommending other vendors to advising on meal selections and layouts, everything was completed with professionalism, knowledge, and skill that only comes from years of experience and passion for the job. The variety of choice available from Mohawk Akwesasne Casino resort meant that we were able to make our wedding as extravagant or budget as we wanted so we felt completely in control of costs as well. On the day everything was taken care of and we only had to worry about showing up and enjoying ourselves. If we had to do everything all over again we would have absolutely no hesitation in choosing Akwesasne Mohawk Casino resort for our wedding venue!

Having our wedding at the casino was an absolute great choice!! Vicki is such a big help if you need anything she went above and beyond to make sure our day went off without a hitch!! The staff was very kind and helpful all through the night. The bar and vicki made aure we had what we wanted for drinks like titos and jameson and they even made margaritas available after i asked during the dinner since my wife enjoyed the margs and vicki made it happen for us!! The food is absolutly amazing and second to non. Overall i couldnt of asked for better place to have our wedding!!

They catered to my every need! Very patient with all my questions and very personable staff. They made themselves available and replied to my questions and concerns within a timely manner, and went above and beyond their role and responsibilities! Highly recommended! I dealt with Vicky and Julianne and couldn’t have asked for better people to help me.

overall experience -mediocre. Before the wedding, the service was very helpful. I booked, a Friday evening, Unfortunately, near last min I was then told venue was now booked in the morning after and I would now have to tear down at 11pm when our wedding ended. positive note-when we set up my decor they were very helpful in assisting with set up. I had 26 people RSVP that did not show, therefore we asked for leftover meals to be packed up for my enormous wedding party to take back to their rooms to eat later. We paid in advance for all the meals, yet upon this suggested it was treated as an inconvenience, and made us feel like we were asking the impossible. Why should I let $600 or more of food go to waste, or to staff? They did end up packing us 21 meals for the end of the night, which was eaten within hours in the hotel rooms that night as I expected. After the ceremony was preformed, the hotel staff began tearing down my ceremony room before we had the chance to go in and take our photos, so our photographer struggled due to that. Items from that room of mine were never found or possibly even tossed away. My cake toppers are even missing. My isle runner which I spent six hours tediously making was one thing that never surfaced. I had planned to frame the section of it that I designed as a memento and am no no longer able to to that which was heartbreaking. All of the chair bows for the ceremony are gone as well, which although they were just tied tulle, were going to be loaned to a friend for her wedding to save her work and money... can’t do that now. In the reception room my card box overflowed and some cards came up missing as well. When the evening closed the staff immediately began tearing down all of my decor and setting up for the next event. Rushing as they went. My wedding party felt pushed aside as they tried to put things away safely. The assistant to the woman I enjoyed planning with seemed very inconvenienced by all of the decor we had to remove and we felt hovered over and rushed to get everything loaded in a terrible windstorm. It was like eyes were burning into the back of our heads because they wanted to finish setting up the new event and go home. I was frustrated to the point of tears at various moments. I felt as though they had our money and were done with us... next! Like the next event was for people better than us. Another positive was the food was delicious! It was not all negative, but what was negative, hurt. When I mentioned the loss of items, I was given an email apology. Nothing more. Some items were set aside where we did not get them and they were found and picked up later such as my vases. When I went to pick them up I was met again by the assistant who was less than friendly and again made it seem like I was inconveniencing her. My advice is yes, this is a beautiful venue that is unique and has tasty food. It is costly so be aware of that. If you wish to have your wedding there, I suggest not having an evening wedding in case they book something the next day , this would allow you more time to collect your things hopefully more safely. I apologize for bouncing around on topics during this, but I didn’t want to forget anything! Also, if you have your rehearsal dinner in the casino at sticks be sure to triple check your reservation! They “forgot” my party of 25 was coming and we were unable to sit all together. Which was sad. Overall, I married my best friend and that’s what matters !

We had our wedding reception here and Vicki and her staff were absolutely amazing!!! They were beyond helpful with everything and made sure it all went smooth, they made sure it was all perfect down to every last detail. We had Andrew Bero and his team with Midnight Confetti also come in and do the decorating and the venue was breathtaking’ I can’t thank them enough! I would absolutely recommend anyone doing their reception here. We even got a complimentary suite the night of that was amazing and everyone was super accommodating, they reserved a huge block of rooms for our traveling guests at a great rate.

Vicki Boyer and the staff were simply amazing. My daughter's wedding reception was over the top gorgeous. Vicki and the team in collaboration with Andrew Bero of Midnight Confetti did an absolutely incredible job. I waked onto the ballroom and it took my breath away. The food, service, staff and decorating was first class. I did d not have to concern myself with any details. Vicki, her staff and Andrew and his team handled everything. I highly recommend this venue and Midnight Confetti.

Vicky, Julianne and the rest of the staff were amazing! Vicky helped us with every aspect of the wedding, finding a DJ & an officiant and she had suggestions for a bakery, florist, etc. the staff was helpful and thoughtful. Julianne even got my daughter a plate of cucumbers when I asked as she is a picky eater. The included suite was beautiful and we were even allowed to check in early to get ready before the ceremony. The room was split so we had the ceremony in one spot and the reception in another. The staff helped us set up and break down making everything easy and less stressful. The scenery outside was perfect for pictures and security was very nice. I highly recommend the casino resort for weddings, bridal showers, any party!

Choose the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino as your reception location!! They are amazingly helpful and so easy to work with! They take away stress that you should not be worrying about and make your day amazing! The prices are the most affordable in the whole Upstate NY region of Massena, Potsdam, and Malone and the rooms to rent are big enough for all of your friends and family to come and celebrate your big day. Food was absolutely phenomenal. Vicki was top notch for assuring everything went smoothly! Only complaint is mixed drinks were weak.

When deciding on our wedding venue, my husband and I made a list of everything we wanted in order to make our wedding day exactly how we dreamed it would be. We wanted a location that had on sight hotel services in order to accommodate out of town guests; we wanted a venue that included all catering of food and drink; a venue that would offer entertainment and restaurant options before and after our wedding day; and one that helped two people who didn’t know a whole lot about getting married through the entire wedding process. After looking around and having a sit down meeting with Vicki Boyer; the banquet manager, we decided to book at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino and we definitely made the right decision. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived at the hotel, and the entire staff made our stay a memorable experience. It was really nice to be able to offer accommodations to our guests, and the hotel blocked off a set of rooms (and then graciously added more rooms after all of the 20 we reserved had booked) with a discounted rate for guests. The hotel is absolutely wonderful and offers everything from the Sweetgrass Spa, to the pool area, the spacious rooms, AND, we got a complimentary junior suite as part of booking with the casino! If you are looking for something that is convenient, updated, great atmosphere, has all in one accommodations (catering, a spa, hotel accommodations, entertainment, a lounge area, a 24 hour restaurant) etc., then you should look no further! Not to mention Vicki and Julianne, who were so wonderful throughout the process; answering any question I might have had, offering guidance when needed, and recommending vendors who turned out to be amazing! (Definitely inquire about a photographer as well as a wedding decorator, because we went with Vicki’s suggestions and it was a really good decision on our part.) I would also like to add that we had our rehearsal dinner right at the casino as well. They blocked off a section of the banquet hall and we were able to have a wonderful dinner celebration right on site. Julianne, the banquet supervisor, was so helpful and let me go next door and set some things up the night before our wedding. I have to add that Vicki offered to do it ALL (set up my candy bar, put the place settings at all of the tables, etc.), but it’s something I wanted to do and she respected that. She did, however, go to every blocked off room and delivered a welcome bag that we had put together for guests! If it isn’t obvious by now, I would definitely recommend the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino to anyone looking for a place to celebrate their wedding. From start to finish, you will be provided with everything you need, your questions will be answered so be sure to ask them, and I have no doubt that your experience would be similar to that of the incredible one that my husband and I had. Words cannot describe how absolutely impressed and satisfied we were with the service of the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort! Our wedding reception was nothing short of perfection! From the day the we booked the venue to the day after the wedding the staff and venue were completely accommodating and provided excellent service! Vicki Boyer, Julianne Skidders and the staff at the resort went above and beyond to help us through the process and make our wedding day everything we wanted and more! The food was delicious and looked amazing and we heard so many great things from guests about the staff & service during the reception! Any questions or requests we ever had they were promptly and very helpfully answered. The room itself is very formal and provides a great canvas for any wedding design! Myself and My husband would recommend the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino to anyone looking for a venue where you not only can have your dream reception but also have the luxury of accommodations right upstairs for guests, a spa for relaxation, dining and entertainment even after the reception is over & and an overall great experience from beginning to end. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day so special!!!

The ballroom where the reception was held is beautiful and new, and it mostly had a neutral color scheme which made it easy to personalize. Also, it was important to my husband and I that we have our reception in a place where our guests could stay overnight so that no one would have to worry about driving home after it was over. The other really appealing part that aided in our decision making was that our guests could still have a good time even after the reception was over because the casino runs 24/7. So, after our reception, a lot of our guests joined us in the casino and we played some slots/tables, had some drinks, and later got a midnight snack in the sports bar they have there called Sticks. Vicki and the staff there were a huge help and ensured that the whole reception flowed seamlessly. Vicki even went out of her way to help me out with some last minute details I had, as well. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I highly recommend the casino for your wedding reception. We have been telling everyone who is planning their wedding how wonderful the casino was. They went above and beyond for us. I cannot thank Vicki Boyer enough for everything she did for us . She even made our family members feel extra special. Pleasure to work with all involved for our special day - staff cleaning up, to waitress/waiter staff & all the people behind the scenes where all very professional & accurate. Food was excellent & all of our guest enjoyed their time celebrating with us. We loved the fact that we didn't have to leave the casino to go to our hotel room at the end of the night & our guest who traveled many hours enjoy this also. Thank you to the casino for bringing this beautiful ballroom to our area , your staff should be rewarded on how wonderful/professional they handled our event.
