I couldn't have been happier with my wedding dinner from Alexa's! They delivered delicious food, beautiful presentation, and timely communication. As well, Alexa's coordinated all of my rentals through CORT, saving me a ton of stress on my big day. Thank you to all of the staff for making my big day so memorable!

Alexa's goes above and beyond with their catering. Not only do you get delicious food, but they also supply linens, tableware, some decor, alcohol and licensed bartender (if wanted) and so much more. It truly made planning the reception so much easier. Very professional staff that continuously made sure that there was enough food out and that everybody was happy.

Alexa's cafe was the best vendor! The planning process was smooth and seamless. Coordinating our rentals through Alexa's made it stress-free. The entire team knew what was happening and was so helpful. Plus, the food is just delicious. We did a buffet for 150 people and everyone was so happy! From Flank steak, to salmon and pasta...just yum! Thank you!

We are locals to Bothell and have been patrons of Alexa’s at their restaurant for a long time! So, we decided to hire Alexa’s for our wedding catering in June 2023. Alexa’s was a truly great choice. Alexa’s has monthly open houses for their catering food, which allowed us to try a variety of options before we settled on our final menu choices. The staff had turnover during our wedding planning process and was proactive about connecting us with their new team members. Everyone was lovely to work with! After our last Zoom visit to finalize all the details (~1-2 weeks before the wedding), we felt confident that things would go smoothly, as the team was very thorough with asking us questions. However, there were some details of what was discussed during that meeting that were not fulfilled the day of: -My husband and I ended up going to get our own food at the buffet, even though we were told we’d have full plated service. -There was no water placed in the carafes at the tables for guests as was discussed. -There were not labels for the food (along with dietary restrictions like vegetarian, vegan, and GF) at the buffet. Despite these disappointments, our guests were all telling us how absolutely delicious the food was! I haven’t heard such positive feedback about the catering at a wedding, so we’re happy that they were happy! Overall, we’d definitely recommend Alexa’s for wedding catering.

We were really happy to have Alexa's cater our wedding for us! The process was very smooth, and they also helped take care of the rentals, set up, and tear down, including floral arrangements and the like. The food was very tasty, especially the desserts, and the buffet was set up beautifully, and we received several compliments from the guests! The prices were also very affordable as compared to what was being quoted and many other venues. Leigh and her team were also very nice and easy to work with.

This is my first time writing a negative review, but after our wedding last month I can’t recommend Alexa’s to anyone. We wanted to like Alexa’s, since they are the required caterer for our wedding venue, and were initially excited since they would handle our rentals, setup and teardown of the event space, thus giving family and friends more time to enjoy our wedding. TLDR; they hid over $1000 in rental fees, their business manager was rude after calling her out on it, they served mediocre food for a large price, and threw away our cake. While Alexa’s was working directly with the rentals company to secure linens, table settings, etc, their proposals never gave a clear breakdown of the costs involved. We were trying to be budget conscious, so knowing how much delivery fees would be was important to our decision making process. As the process progressed and we asked about these details, Alexa’s didn’t seem to have accurate numbers on hand. This is notable because they work with this venue for weddings multiple times a weekend and it would be impossible to be unfamiliar with these fees. During our final call, they mentioned that there was a chance the rental fees had increased. After specifically asking for those fees to be itemized, our quote for those fees increased by 300% and included a new production labor fee. I personally called the rental company to verify the amounts and was told there would be an additional $715 fee for after hours pickup. For some people this may not be a big deal, but this was an unacceptable extra cost for us. I called them out on this, and there was no apology. I asked the business manager to remove all items that we were renting except linens (so that we could avoid these fees, and pick up and drop off linens ourselves). In response, she canceled our entire rental order from the rental company. So we had to scramble to ensure that our linens would still be available and now work directly with the rental company. To boot, she was rude about the fact that we were now using disposable tableware, and stopped emailing me instead preferring to talk to my fiance. The food wasn’t good. The steak was cold when my spouse got to it (and he was first in line), and no one gave us compliments on the food. And finally, they threw away our beautiful (and expensive!) cutting cake that we had ordered and friends had decorated for us. We had only a few bites and we never saw it after that, and I’m still sad about it. Overall, Alexa’s was a huge source of stress and disappointment.

Alexa catering did such a wonderful job the day of our wedding. The staff who were working the event were extremely friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The food was on time and our guests raved about the salmon. Thank you so much!

From the beginning to the end of the process of choosing a vendor for our sons wedding, Alexa’s went above and beyond in their meticulous attention to details, offering their expertise and options. Truly, we could not imagine a better experience.

Absolutely wonderful company. Their staff was so friendly throughout the entire process. Their food was amazing, people are still telling me how good our wedding food was. They helped our coordinator set up all the tables and made everything go smoothly. I would definitely recommend this company.

Alexa's Catering was phenomenal from beginning to end! We loved them from the minute we met them for our tasting and felt that they really cared about our goals for catering. Catering is so important for the wedding because they really are the "foundation" of the vendors throughout the day, making sure the set up, dinner and bar flows so smoothly from set up to tear down. It was obvious they have lots of experience because Alexa made all of the steps from planning to "production" so smooth, efficient and easy. I didn't have to worry about anything ever because I felt I was in such good hands. As someone who literally balked at the cost of catering when I first started researching caterers after rentals add up etc., I felt Alexa's was affordable and super willing to work with us to cut down costs where we could which I really appreciated. AND the food was absolutely amazing - we got SO many compliments from guests afterwards which feels so good to know they enjoyed themselves! Literally there were no leftovers to take home, and we had several people not show up day of - meaning we should have had a lot of extra food, but the food was so good our guests ate up all the extra! Can't recommend Alexa's enough!!

Working with Alexa's was the best!! They did the catering for our wedding, but really do so much more than that! I worked closely with Alexa for almost 2 years after having to postpone our wedding, and she helped with all the details of the planning process and had so many good recommendations for us to take into consideration. Their team ran around like crazy on the day of, and went above and beyond to ensure that everything turned out perfectly and just like we planned! Alexa was so good at communicating with me, especially in the final month or two when it seemed I had constant questions for her. Most importantly, the food turned out amazing! Everyone loved it, and our signature cocktail they came up with was also a hit! Would 100% recommend working with Alexa's for your big day, they will take great care of you!!

Wow is all I can say. The food was phenomenal, not your normal boring salmon and steak wedding food. We had burger sliders, chicken sliders, pulled pork slider, caprese salad, Cesar salad, macaroni and cheese AND a fruit salad. The presentation of the food was gorgeous and looked as good as it tasted! That is just the food! Alexa's is full service so they set up all chairs for ceremony, tables , chairs at tables and table tops AND provided bartending service. Outstanding service. 10/10 would recommend.

As a wedding venue owner, we see 50+ caterered weddings each year. We have a high standard for all vendors and do not recommend anyone unless they provided fantastic service, handle all the little details the couple and guests don't even realize need to be considered; and are a team-player with all the other vendors helping to make everyone's job easier and the guest experience as great as it can be. Alexa's catered a wedding this year and lived up to our high-standards. We look forward to having them back and feel very confident that the couple and their guests will be taken care of and have a wonderful experience. I recommend Alexa's and believe they should be strongly considered when looking for a caterer to make your Best Day Ever truly the best it can be.

Alexa’s has been wonderful to do business with! The presentation is on point, the food tastes great, and the service is excellent. They were so flexible with us from the items we wanted to rent to when we had to move our wedding date two times after the original date due to Covid. They Jeep your budget in mind, too. They are quick to respond via email which is a bonus! Highly, highly recommend them. Support a local business!

Alexa’s was one of the 5 preferred catering companies for our venue, and they were a great choice! All of the food was delicious – I wish we could have taken home leftovers! They made it easy to plan our wedding menu by hosting an open house monthly for brides and grooms to try out their different menu items. We went with a buffet dinner, but they have plated dinner options too. We weren’t going to have desserts from our caterer but Alexa’s desserts were so good that we had to have some of their mini pies and chocolate mousse cups at our wedding! Alexa’s also managed all our rentals (tables, chairs, china, glassware, linens, etc.) for our wedding too, which made everything super easy. At the wedding itself we did have one kind of grumpy server, but the rest of the staff and management team were fabulous to work with. My husband and I loved the food so much that we want to find the opportunity in the future to host another big social gathering so that we can have Alexa’s cater with their delicious food again!

Alexa’s was absolutely incredible through the whole wedding process. Right from the start, they replied promptly, provided any information I needed and answered any questions I had. I was able to meet with Alexa several times to meet about wedding vision, do a general walkthrough, and a final walkthrough before the big day. I planned the wedding almost exclusively from long distance since my husband and I are in the military, but she was always available to meet during the short periods of time I was in town and helped me visualize how I wanted everything to turn out. Since she had experience catering to my venue before, I was even able to ask questions about how different couples had done things in the past to help me make decisions or determine what works better or worse. The food was great, everything was set up well on time, they coordinated with another couple getting married the next day so that we got to split the bill on the majority of our rentals, and the floral arrangements they provided for free with their food matched our theme. I didn’t have a wedding coordinator for my event and I believe Alexa was a huge part of why I was able to pull it off. We couldn’t have possibly had a better catering team. They went above and beyond in every way and we also had them cater our rehearsal brunch at a separate venue the day before (which was also incredible).

Alexa’s Catering exceeded our expectations in everyone way. They not only provided excellent food but also handled nearly all the setup on our wedding day (including our own personal table decorations) and were even able to serve a smoked salmon appetizer that was caught by the groomsmen, which every other caterer we talked to wouldn’t do. Alexa and Leigh are incredibly easy to work with and we would recommend Alexa’s to everyone we know.

My husband and I cannot express enough just how amazing Alexa and everyone and Alexa's Cafe and Catering are ... Your meal and your wedding is incredibly important and they 100% understand this and make you feel it. We decided to book Alexa's for our wedding before trying there food (crazy right?). They were a preferred caterer recommended by our venue and the reviews we read were spectacular. From our first visit to one of their catering open houses, we were delighted with the food and blown away by the exceptional customer service. Both Alexa and her mother (owner and founder of the cafe), were present during the open house and took the time to sit down and speak to us and answer any and all questions we had right away. We had absolutely no need to worry what-so-ever about having our needs and requests met for our wedding. I asked for individual baguette's for each setting — Alexa loved the idea and had them come from Macrina Bakery (amazing). I asked to have parchment paper and twine wrapped around each one — Alexa and her team were more than happy to take this on morning of the wedding. I asked for different CORT rentals multiple times — Alexa responded so nicely and made every adjustment without hesitation or any judgement. I could go on ... We were able to say hello and thank them during our wedding and it felt more like a new friendship than anything. After our wedding, we received countless compliments on every dish ... Especially the steak. Could not recommend enough. Thank you so much to Alexa (our main point of contact), and the team. We love you!!

Outstanding! Our daughter's wedding was actually perfect. Being a New Yorker planning a wedding in Seattle was a little overwhelming. When I got in touch with Leigh I knew everything was going to be ok. The food was incredible and the attention to detail amazing. We had 14 servers who were amazing. I would recommend Alexa's 100000000 percent!

I apologize if you see/have seen this review elsewhere. Want to cast a wide net for Alexa's. From the beginning, Leigh (owner) was great to work with. They operate a breakfast/lunch restaurant as well as the catering company (stop by if you're in Bothell for a great breakfast), and we had a great dinner there after rehearsal as well as a fun tasting of samples of their catering menu at a separate event. In the end, everything was on time, on budget, and executed just as our daughter wanted. They provided what was ordered and also worked with her on customizing many things - she wanted her own gold leaf chargers and other bride-provided items that were set by Alexa's, and they provided a bartender who served alcohol that we brought to the venue (I didn't know that caterers allowed customer furnished alcohol!). The food was prepped and served very well in a challenging setup with no convenient kitchen. Leigh has developed some very unique, great tasting dishes. My wife's favorite is a fruit and vegetable landscape that was a buffet appetizer and big hit. From the setup to cleanup, the on site staff was accommodating and helpful and packed up all of the items that the bride furnished as well food and cake to take. Our daughter had an outdoor wedding this past weekend, with rain in the forecast for the Seattle area. Leigh went through all of the logistics of procuring and having a large tent installed on short notice, and even coordinated with other weddings before and after ours to get their buy-in and contributions for the tent. Truly "above and beyond" in my book. We can't say enough about the whole experience with Alexa's. Highly recommend.

We loved working with Alexa's Catering. From our very first meeting with Leigh (the owner) through the end of our wedding day, every step of the process was professional and warm. When it looked like rain was inevitable the day of our outdoor wedding, they called me to discuss last minute changes and make sure all the details were organized to make our day run smoothly, despite of the weather. Our guests were impressed with how efficient the staff was (one told me it was as if "the food appeared by magic,") and how beautifully everything was displayed. Also, did I mention how delicious everything was?!? Our guests raved about how yummy and plentiful the appetizers were, and no one even missed the meat in our vegetarian dinner choices. My only complaint is that my husband and I didn't have a chance to eat more of the appetizers because we were too busy greeting our guests - guess we'll have to go back to the cafe to enjoy more of their delightful food. He's still raving about the kielbasa sausage rolls, two weeks later! 5+ stars for Alexa's Catering. Hire them... you will not regret it.

Alexa's catered our wedding last weekend and the food was wonderful! They are also great to work with, fast and responsive. They also did a great job on the set up as well. Everything looked great! So many of my guests complimented the food so, thank you so much again!

Had zero issues with the caterer, felt very secure with them setting up and loved the food. I also gave no direction on how to set up their table but it was adorable! Also I think one of their staff ran out to get more tonic water for the bar? I was told that later, very professional and helpful and the food was so yummy!

Working with Alexa's Catering was a fantastic decision! We hired them to cater our wedding/rehearsal dinner, and it was wonderful working with the staff. We utilized their restaurant for the rehearsal dinner space; it was the perfect space at no additional cost! Alexa's was the only catering company to offer day-of support with table decorations, early set-up, etc. The detailed questions I was asked in our final meeting were similar to the wedding planner's questions, reassuring me they wanted to get the vision just right. (Also, very helpful if you choose to proceed without a coordinator.) Alexa's had a great working relationship with our venue (DeLille), which was extremely comforting as they would be locking up at the end of the night. We received SO many compliments after the wedding on how delicious the food was, and everyone LOVED the desserts! We were happily eating leftovers for the next few days. Great company and great family to work with!

The food and service was amazing! We did buffet style, which went very smoothly. My guests raved about the food on the wedding day, and they still are. They did run out of forks, but it wasn't a huge deal because it happened when people wanted to get seconds.

We had a fairly good experience with Alexa's, with only a few small complaints. We wanted to get our menu settled early, so we booked over a year in advance and had our whole menu settled. They changed their catering menu setup and switched our account manager about 5 months before our wedding, so that meant we had to pick basically an entirely new menu and start from scratch working with someone else. That was frustrating, but the person the new person we worked with was pleasant and did a good job. Ultimately, I ended up being happy with the menu we chose, but the process could have gone a lot smoother. On the day of the event, Alexa's did an excellent job of setting up and taking everything down in a timely manner, and the tables and buffet setup looked great. The food was absolutely wonderful!! We got so many compliments on how delicious the whole menu was. The bar ran out of soda very early on in the night, which was disappointing. We also ended up having 8 opened and unfinished bottles of red wine left over at the beginning of the night, which was upsetting because we had planned to return unopened bottles. If you do work with Alexa's, I would be sure to be clear about your expectations for the beverages/bar because that seemed to be the area where we had problems day-of. Overall, they serve a great product at a very reasonable price.

We got an invoice that was 20% higher than the quote - when we inquired, it was pay up or we'll not be there at the time we were hired for. This is called bait-and-switch. We already had paid a down payment and it was too late to hire someone else. So we had no choice but to pay up. On the wedding day, the food was placed in different locations than we had discussed in the walk-through. As a result, not all our guests were able to locate the food. Not everything we ordered was served - we had asked for coffee and soda and that was nowhere to be found. We're talking a lunch wedding in Seattle - no coffee? The food was ok given the $60 per plate price tag. The veggies were served cold. We worked with a lot of professionals organizing the wedding. Everything was expensive, and everyone did what they said and said what they would do in a professional, courteous manner. Alexa's catering stands out with their unethical business conduct and sloppy service. Definitely not recommended. Your wedding is a non-repeatable event, hire someone who can do the job well.

We had many mishaps involving catering on our wedding day - to include running out of cocktails, missing our beer selections, not having food labeled, and less than impressive quality of food. Although the venue, and our other vendors made up for what was lacking in the catering department, to create an overall good wedding - we are still disappointed about our catering choice. We had sent an email to the caterer to express our concerns after the wedding and simply received a response saying that 'our goal is to exceed our expectations, we are sorry we did not do that for you'. On a more positive note - the staff they had working the event were very helpful, polite, and pleasant. The food and drinks were the missing link.

I am so thankful I chose to follow our catering company when there was a mishap with the original venue location. Alexa's cafe and catering company did all that they could to make the transition and easy and painless as possible. They were attentive and responsive. They were so helpful with information on locations and possible new venues and eventually introduced us to the place we decided to hold our ceremony and reception. It was absolutely perfect and the staff was on point! Thank you so much for everything.

We had sampled Alexa's Catering at an open house at our venue and custom built our menu after that. I genuinly looked forward to eating the food again at the wedding! And I wish I had been able to take the leftovers (leaving for the honeymoon the next day didn't allow). Usually I feel like wedding food is so-so, kind of bland. But their food is AMAZING. All the guests were commenting on how wonderful it was. Only "complaint" is that they initially overcharged us by charging the gratuity upfront, when we preferred to tip based on the SERVICE. (Great prices by the way though!!! We had teriyaki salmon, lemon cream chicken, greek salad, garlic mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, fresh fruit and vegetables, and drinks all for $24/person)

We had teriyaki salmon, lemon chicken, garden salad, fruit and vegetable spread, rolls, and tortellini. The prices are reasonable and the food tasted great. My only complaint is that there was not enough salmon for all my guests. Those at the end of the line didn't get any salmon :-(
