Having Amy plan our wedding was the best possible decision we could have made. Amy is a consummate professional who deeply cares about her clients. She works with you every step of the way to ensure your vision comes to life the day of your wedding. Not only is she an incredible project manager, her designs are absolutely stunning. One thing I heard consistently from the attendees at our wedding was how perfect every single detail was, nothing was missed or overlooked, the entire event was cohesive from start to finish.
I could write for days about how much Amy meant to us. Not only is she an incredible wedding planner, she is an incredible person who we are lucky to have in our lives. It was a sincere pleasure working with Amy, from our first call with her in November of 2020 to the end-of-night bonfire the (unseasonably cold) night of our wedding in June 2022, she is simply the best!
My daughter wanted a wedding that would reflect the beauty, whimsy, and romance that defines her world and Amy Jones of Amy Champagne Events granted her every wish! Amy listened closely and knew where to source the details; together, Amy and my daughter brought the vision to reality. Along the way, Amy led us through choosing vendors and handled any and all contractual questions with speed and ease. The wedding was a tented event at our home and the logistics were at times overwhelming. Amy met the challenge and brought together so many perfect elements that we were simply stunned, but immeasurably grateful.
Amy's team of assistants, Allie and Andreah, were a magnificent addition and though we knew they would be capable, their level of perfectionism and attention to detail was breathtaking to watch!
I cannot possibly recount all the ways in the past year that Amy facilitated our needs, calmed an anxious bride, and reassured us that she would get "it" done - and she did "it" all, without ever losing her smile or positive attitude. I am so grateful to have chosen Amy to give my daughter the wedding of her dreams and and to have had her at the helm of this important day.
Where do you start with Amy… she is indispensable! We worked with her for almost two years as a COVID engagement and she made sure she timed the planning process perfectly. Our day was flawless from start to finish and she handled any curveball (including a big one of me needing to swap my gown!) as easily as she handled everything else. I’d recommend her to anyone and everyone. Her and her team are the best in the business.
You can stop your search for the perfect wedding coordinator now! Amy Champagne Events is all you will ever need plus so much more. Amy and Lindsey helped us plan our dream September 2020 wedding. Then the pandemic hit. Amy was truly the reason why I still had my head about me after we had to plan, unplan and replan our wedding a few times over. From a planner perspective, she was thorough, extremely detail-oriented and dedicated to ensure no stone was left unturned- while in the midst of a global pandemic. Above-and-beyond doesn’t begin to describe Amy’s commitment to our wedding. From a more personal perspective, Amy was incredibly patient, kind, understanding and steadfast. Her nickname amongst my family quickly became Angel Amy. I am extremely type A but I could finally relax knowing Amy was at the helm of our wedding. I cannot recommend her enough!
My fiancee and I had come across Amy Champagne Events online and wanted to hear about her services. She made time to meet with us IN PERSON and within minutes I knew that she was the real deal. She is very clearly exceptional at her job, she could tease out creative solutions without prompting. The thing that I was most struck by was her GENUINE nature. Although my fiancee and I had not made a decision yet on a planner, she really wanted to get to know us as a couple. She asked questions beyond just "How did you meet" and "What are your interests" (that you usually receive when you meet with a wedding planner). Thank you Amy- you were incredibly professional and I hope to cross paths again!
I reached out to Amy because I saw past events that she had worked on by sheer Googling of "cool" and "party" and "wedding." I could tell immediately that I liked her style. I was planning my NY wedding from LA and realized (probably too late) that I needed help putting the decorative aspects together. Amy was amazing - she literally took my inspiration (a Caravaggio painting) and made it come to life with her own inventive design ideas for our venue (and she worked very hard to stay within our budget). Amy had GREAT ideas for thoughtful touches and details and was helpful in coordinating our vendors and making sure that everything was in place for our big day. On the day of the wedding we had Lindsey take the wheel, making sure that everything was in place, setting up the room, making sure that it looked beautiful and festive and that our vendors were on point. We couldn't have asked for a better team on our side!
I cannot say enough good things about working with Amy. We started working with Amy in January for a September wedding, and she made the process so easy that we felt like we had all the time in the world. We had our wedding at a family house, so we had to completely build a venue. On top of that - we were across the country planning a wedding on the East Coast. During the process, Amy took away all of my anxiety - she thought of everything we needed, adapted to our taste, and made sure to recommend the right vendors for our budget. We had unexpected rain the day of the wedding, but with Amy, I had no worries about our outdoor wedding at all. Her team was absolutely amazing and really helped us create the perfect day. She made sure that we felt the day was about us and treated our guests and family as her own.
While we worked with Amy, Lindsey was also an amazing help throughout the process, even doing some hand lettering for us. I cannot recommend working with this team enough!
We worked with Amy Champagne events and in particular with Lindsey for planning and exciting the wedding of our daughter. We have been delighted with the speed and quality of the service, ideas and follow-up. Definitely one of the best decisions we made was to work with them. The wonderful team is surely recommended for your event!
We got a partial wedding planning package with Lindsey and Amy to help us plan a summer camp wedding at Camp Taconic in the Berkshires and could not have been happier with the results. We chose Amy Champagne Events because Amy and Lindsay are the perfect dynamic duo of design and execution. From the beginning - a year before the wedding- they were incredibly responsive and open to making our wedding everything we wanted it to be. From a design perspective, Amy put together a design plan and a website that was phenomenal. Lindsay handled all of the execution beautifully and was so fun to work with. They recommended GREAT vendors including our photographer, DJ, and florist who all knocked it out of the park. During the month of the wedding, Lindsey was available any time for all our last minute questions and worries and even came up with a few additional items to make our wedding feel special (including a camp banner and some awesome little stamped rocks). The weekend of the wedding was where Lindsey and her assistant Tes really shined. Lindsey went above and beyond to save the day multiple times, including picking up extra full sized bedding for some of the cabins, driving a few lost attendees back to their hotel at 11pm after our Friday night welcome bbq, and grabbing a few more bottles of whiskey for us when partygoers snuck into the alcohol the night before the wedding (oops). Lindsey and team handled all the setup and breakdown and, again, saved the day when it rained just as our ceremony was supposed to start. They set up our backup location so beautifully that we both cried with how happy we were. We could not have pulled this wedding off without Lindsey and I’d recommend her 1000 times for any event. Thanks Amy and Lindsey!!!
I reached out to Amy Champagne Events right before Christmas of 2017. I hopped on a call with Amy and was put at such ease from the very beginning! Since, I would be planning my Connecticut wedding remotely. We decided to use ACE for full planning. Best.Investment.Ever.
I only met Amy a few times in person over the course of planning but after a short time I felt like I had known her for years.
Before the year’s end and amidst the holidays, Amy developed a venue report for our big day and we set up some tours in early 2018. We decided on Eolia Mansion at Harkness Memorial Park in Waterford CT. Having lived in CT for over 20 years, I never knew of this hidden gem! Amy worked quickly to secure a date for us in 2019! And then we were off to the races.
Planning with ACE is such a organized dream. They use BaseCamp to communicate and upload all the documents, quotes, pictures, etc and developed a timeline/to-do list. We were involved in every step of the planning process but it was not the logistical nightmare I had heard about from my friends. ACE took care of the endless phone calls and made it such a stress free process for us. It was so easy for us to trust them with our vision and the execution. I knew what to expect with our big day because we had ACE recommend the best vendors—and they were indeed the best!
On our wedding day, Amy & Lindsey came in as I had finished getting my hair and makeup done. Lindsey, steamed my dress and veil for me! They truly went above and beyond for us and they both have hearts of gold. I felt so special on my wedding day & was able to take in every moment. Reflecting now, it is hard not to get a little teary eyed!
Lindsey and Amy (and vendors), worked endlessly behind the scenes to get our venue set up in a very short timeframe (as required by our venue). Seeing it all put together it was like they had been there for hours and hours making our romantic mediterranean paradise. Amy had suggested having some scented candles burning in our venue—which was genius & now I just have to burn that candle to take me back to that day!
There was a moment right before our ceremony that Amy reminded me to take a moment, take a breath. It is a moment I will never forget. It set the tone for my day and may seem so simple but was just what I needed in that moment.
Our day was better than we could have ever imagined. Amy and Lindsey LOVE what they do and it is so evident in their work. True visionaries. Our day was beyond what we envisioned. Every detail was so personal and thoughtful. I am still in awe. Our guests feedback was phenomenal and many said it was the best wedding they had ever been, too. I owe this all to the ACE team, the incredible team vendors I could not have put together on my own.
There was not an ounce of stress on my wedding day and that was the greatest gift for our wedding day. We are forever grateful to Amy Champagne Events. Highly recommend—they should be your first call!!
I hired Lindsey at Amy Champagne events for month-of-coordination for my wedding at the Inn at Longshore on June 8th, 2019. Everything that Lindsey did for our wedding exceeded all of my expectations. She was extremely punctual in answering all of my e-mails with questions, even before the month-of timeframe. She worked so hard throughout the entire planning process, and WORKED HER BUTT OFF the day of the wedding. She made sure she checked in with me a few times on my wedding day to ensure that everything felt good on my side, and everything that I brought to include in the wedding was laid out beautifully (and it was a lot, my mom went a little nuts with the special touches!) I literally could go on for so long about how pleased I was and continue to be with Lindsey, but I'll just say that she was by far the best and most valuable vendor at my wedding. I cannot recommend Lindsey and Amy Champagne Events enough.
I can't say enough about how much of a pleasure it was to work with Amy. My husband and I were initially incredibly hesitant about having a wedding at all and were worried a big wedding would feel forced, unfamiliar, or stiff. Then my mom and dad found out about Amy and it became clear how incredibly personal our day would be. We have quirky taste and Amy took it all in stride. I am both gluten free and vegetarian and she helped us find a caterer and pick a menu that had everyone raving and still made it so I could eat almost everything including the desserts. We had picked a bright color palette and I mentioned that I wasn't the biggest fan of cut flowers. My mom and husband both mentioned that they loved triangles. I showed her a single picture of a bouquet I liked. Based off of that she created the most stunning Southwestern themed wedding. There were towering cactuses, air plants, bold linens, and a triangular install over the dance floor. My parent's home is decorated with a lot of Southwestern art and our tent felt like an extension of their home. The day felt intensely personal and like a representation of what we loved. I hate attention and dreaded things like walking down the aisle but, when the day came, everything Amy had designed was so perfect that I felt comfortable and at home. The design was not only stunning but personalized and unique.
She made the process so easy for us. All along the way she connected us with fantastic vendors and ensured that everything was arranged. The week of and day of she and her team were always there. The flow of the day was perfect. They coached us when we weren't sure what to do when and made sure everything we needed was available.
I came into this process about as skeptical and unsure as a bride can be but I can really say that it was the best, happiest, most perfect day that me, my husband, or my family have ever experienced. And it was due to Amy's vision, creativity, and talent!
Working with Lindsey and Amy to plan our early October wedding was like having our own personal fairy godmother for a year. When had our first chat, Amy said “You’re engaged for such a short period of your life, enjoy every minute of it” – and working with her company was a huge part of letting us do just that. We chose to work with Lindsey for full-service planning, and from our kickoff meeting, we LOVED her amazing balance of energy and calm. There were a few pieces of our day that broke from tradition (best lady/no maid of honor in the wedding party, both rabbi and minister officiated), and throughout the entire experience Lindsey embraced what made our wedding uniquely us. And even if you put all that aside, here’s what makes ACE worth every penny:
• We wanted to hold our reception at The Lace Factory but have the ceremony at the Essex Steam Train, which has personal significance for me. The Steam Train had stopped hosting only ceremonies that year; you had to pay to host the entire event there in order to reserve the space. I don’t know what Lindsey used to bribe the event manager, but we were able to have just our ceremony there as we envisioned for a very reasonable fee.
• Their relationships with other vendor partners are solid. As part of full-service planning, Lindsey sent us a short-list of photographers, entertainment, and hair/makeup that was truly a lifesaver for a couple who doesn’t have the time or patience to review literally hundreds of options . We also appreciated that Lindsey included a variety of price ranges in each list...
• Our wedding budget was big to us but not in the crazy world of weddings. ACE was so respectful of how much we were willing to spend on each piece, and pulled some serious strings to help keep us where we wanted to be. Our décor budget was particularly tiny, and we were seriously blown away with what they were able to come up with (bonus of working with ACE: They have a treasure closet of awesome décor pieces to work with so you don’t have to buy everything!). What may be even more impressive about their creativity is we didn’t have a clear vision of our style/theme when we started – we knew the feeling/vibe we wanted to create, but ACE was so clutch in bringing that to life in a way that felt like us.
• Very early on, Lindsey provided a complete run-down of what had to be done when as we got closer to the big day. It was structured as a month-by-month checklist that gave us such peace of mind by keeping us (and our families) on-track with the to-dos without needing someone to bug us. It was the perfect organization counterpart to their creativity!
• Lindsey was a pro at managing concerns and last-minute changes, up to and during the wedding. She was adept at managing and integrating our parents’ POV, tweaking the order of events, and seamlessly transitioned the ceremony indoors when it started raining that morning! When our flowers were delivered, I loved everything except the bridal bouquet. I texted Lindsey right away and it was reworked to perfection before I even noticed someone had picked it up. Her team’s ability to handle every single detail on the day of, especially the unexpected ones, was what let us relax and enjoy every minute of the weekend.
There’s so much more we could gush about working with ACE, but we’ll close it with this: After a year of reminiscing, there isn’t a single thing we would have done differently. THANK YOU Linds & Amy for making that happen, we <3 you!!
Amy is really the very best! She has worked with our family on my sister's wedding and now our wedding that took place in June 2018. I only have amazing things to say about our experience. Amy has great connections to the best vendors, gave us recommendations that we were thrilled with and worked with us on budget, timing, etc to make our day perfect... my most favorite thing about Amy, though, is her honesty. It is very clear she has lots of experience... when we were working with her to plan our wedding she had no problem telling us 'that's not the best way to do this and here's why and also here's how we can do it an even better way' which really translated into not only a perfectly executed wedding day (which very much incorporated our vision and satisfied our needs), but all of our guests had the best experience as well and can't stop talking about our day. I think there are a lot of planners out there that will just blindly execute a bride and groom's vision but we really appreciated Amy's honesty and experience! We love Amy and wish we could do it all over again! (Also, not to be overlooked... the amazing work she did to make our tent look and feel like something out of a fairy tale dream!)
Amy was the first wedding related choice we made when we first got engaged, and honestly, she was by far the most important. We met with Amy and Lindsey early 2016 before picking a church, venue, date, or any other single detail. We hired Amy and Lindsey for their full planning package, and we are SO glad we did. They guided us through literally everything, all the way up until our wedding in September of 2017. Amy went with us to visit venues, helped us with catering quotes, secured us a tent for the venue, furniture rentals, transportation for guests, music, photography, flowers, linens, lighting, literally everything and kept it all within our budget. Not only did she deal with countless vendors on our behalf and handled the logistics of everything, she truly came up with the most incredible design that was better than what I had envisioned. She took what I had shown her and described to her and ran with it in her design. Every detail was perfect. Giving her the reins was the best thing I could have done. She executed everything perfectly. We had countless meetings, emails, and phone calls and she made planning over the course of 2 years FUN. We had rainy weather on our wedding day and had to utilize our (her) plan b, which worked out seamlessly. We had a super special surprise band performance, a tent, an indoor space, a very long day of timeline… there was a lot going on, and Amy didn’t miss a beat. Lindsey even came to my house the morning before the wedding to pick up some of our décor to take it off my hands, so I didn’t have to worry about bringing it up to our venue. The morning after the wedding, they brought my very long train, all of our décor, and anything else that was ours at the venue and put it in our garage while we were going on our honeymoon. Amy’s day of girls that were with us, Alex and Tes, were wonderful. Anything I needed they had, and no task was too challenging… including going back to the hotel mid reception when we realized our bottles of limoncello for favors were in the best man’s trunk still (in extremely heavy boxes). They all went above and beyond in every way possible. Amy and her team are not just a service or another vendor you hire for the biggest day of your life. She became like family and she constantly had our back. You will feel like you’ve known her for years from day one. We owe the entire day to Amy, I could not have done it without her. Trust me and just trust Amy… and you will be very happy with your perfect day!
We absolutely LOVED working with Amy and her team during the entire planning process and day of our wedding- we could not recommend Amy Champagne Events enough!
Our ceremony and reception were in two different states (about an hour drive) which added a level of anxiety. Amy and her team (especially Lindsey) had everything prepared and the day couldn’t have gone smoother.
Amy did everything ! She worked tirelessly on our behalf with all vendors- she found several options and negotiatied prices. She attended all meetings no matter how far they were from her location in CT. Amy did a fabulous job executing our vision and helped us to stay on budget.
The best thing about having Amy Champagne Events plan our wedding was that my mom and I truly got to enjoy the planning process and did not worry about a thing . To quote my dad “Amy was worth her weight in gold” - which says a lot coming from him!
Lindsey of the ACE team took care of our 200-person rainy wedding last weekend. We cannot say enough good things about her and her team. The entire day I felt completely taken care of so I actually got to relax and just really enjoy our wedding day. Not only that, I got to relax the entire month leading up to our wedding because we had hired her for month of coordination. She had to organize a lot that day in poor weather and she did it seamlessly. Amy Champagne was the best thing we spent our money on for our wedding. Highly recommended!
I couldn't imagine my wedding planning process and wedding day without Courtney from ACE. I did not have to worry about any of the details because before I could even think about it, Courtney had taken care of it. My bridal party was a very large and rowdy group and she handled everything with such composure and grace. All of the things I was nervous about coordinating and planning Courtney helped to facilitate and bring to fruition. Alex and Lindsey assisted on the day of the wedding and were absolutely instrumental is the success of the day. Best day ever. Thank you ACE!
The very first thing we tell people when we talk about our daughter's wedding is that hiring the Amy Champagne people was the best money we ever spent. From the very first meeting we had they continuously embellished any ideas we had in our vision of this event. Courtney and Lindsay were incredibly detailed and professional, The day-of girls were absolutely amazing! When anyone had questions for us about anything, our immediate answer was "don't ask me, ask Courtney". What an amazing relief it was to have them with us during the day. The three girls we had that day handled everything that was thrown at them including sewing split groomsman pants! Everything ran so smoothly and the only credit we feel we can take for that is that we chose Amy Champagne to be our wedding coordinators
We got married at the Branford House and after the venue, Amy was our first (and most valuable) investment in the wedding. We loved the raw architectural space of the Branford House and the fact that there were no required vendors for the space - but that meant extra work to pick all of our vendors to create a cohesive event. That is where Amy came in. We hired her for "consultations plus month of", and had our first meeting almost a year and a half before the big day. We instantly connected over our design aesthetic - as two grooms, we wanted to make sure the wedding had a masculine feel and that we had the best food and music without breaking the bank. Amy provided great recommendations on vendors to research and visit with, and she was always a great sounding board for us when we had questions or doubts or trouble deciding on vendors. She also provided an amazing timeline for our to do list - basically the 3-4 things we needed to do every month to stay on track and make sure we had our pick of vendors. This was great to keep us organized and make the daunting task of planning seem extremely manageable, enjoyable and low stress. As we got closer to the wedding, our communications increased and Amy was always helpful - listening to our ideas and making them a reality. What was really great though was Amy's sanity checks - when we thought we had a "good" idea she would tell us how she had seen them play out in the past, what went wrong or we weren't thinking about, and providing a better solution that accomplished the same goal. TRUST your wedding planner! At least if it's Amy, she is always right. We were also very grateful for our "Plan B" - which Amy had developed in the event of bad weather (and that we needed to use). We wanted someone that we could trust to execute on the vision and leave us to enjoy our day, which is what Amy and her team did. Truly an incredible job by a wonderful (super)woman!
AMY & HER TEAM ARE AMAZING!
Bottom line, AMY and her team delivered on my wedding day. Everything went so smoothly and everything was absolutley the exact way I had pictured! We opted to do the "partial planning" package with Amy. We worked with her from start to finish over a year and a half period. She worked it on my wedding day. Every idea was PERFECTLY executed. We had our decor meeting at her office in Milford and 99% of her ideas were spot on! I had 1 -2 things I tweaked but even though I wanted to tweak them Amy always put my ideas into action in the best possible way.
If you want your guests to have a "WOW" factor on your wedding day then choose AMY and her amazing team!
Speechless! Amy and her team are the BEST of the best. Besides being an incredible and nice person, she is an organized, detail orientated, knowledgable, and amazing professional. She allowed me, a type A event corporate event manager, to relax and enjoy the most incredible day of my life. Being the oldest of 5 girls and 1st to get married, there was much anticipation and anxiety around the wedding, because we had really never planned one, been to tons, etc. I just received my photos back and not only do my husband and I look completely happy, our families, especially our parents do as well. Amy's calming and assertive work style allowed them to be guests at the wedding, not have to feel like hosts. Everyone enjoyed the day to its fullest. If you don't think you need a planner that day, think again. It is the best money we spent and my dad called her immediately after the wedding to book her for my sister's wedding this upcoming June. Necessity, not optional in my book! So much love to Amy and her team. xo!
We got married at Eolia Mansion in Waterford, CT. We had to bring in all our own vendors, and being a state property, they had very strict rules and wouldn't allow us into the mansion until 2 hours before the reception time. Knowing I'd be getting dressed and going to our ceremony during that time, I needed someone to oversee the mansion preparations. That's when I called Lindsey at ACE! I hired Lindsey for her 1 month coordination service. I had a good handle on planning myself and already had most of our vendors on board, but knowing that she could take over communications and relieve some stress as the big day approached allowed me to better enjoy that time with family & friends. Throughout our engagement, Lindsey was my voice of reason- she was always available to answer any questions I had and offer opinions/suggestions based on past experiences, telling me what worked in the past and what didn't. We took a trip up to the venue to do a walk-through and ensure we both shared the same understanding of where things should be, and she had so many great pointers! Lindsey was a HUGE help during rehearsal. She coordinated the entire thing, making sure everyone in our wedding party knew exactly where to be and what to expect. On the day of the wedding, Lindsey showed up with three assistants and I didn't have to worry about a single thing. They coordinated our shuttle buses, oversaw the entire set up and take down, and coordinated the entire timeline. All Lindsey's girls were incredibly nice (especially Lexi, who never left my side!) and willing to help with literally anything we needed... From bustling my dress, to making sure my lipstick was nearby, and bringing us appetizers so that we wouldn't miss out on our cocktail hour foods... These girls went above and beyond. Whenever I thought of something and went to ask Lindsey about it, she smiled and said, "It's already done." My family and our whole bridal party loved her; my mom hasn't stopped raving. I can't even imagine a better person for this job. Lindsey is the perfect balance between fun, laid back, and straight forward/down-to-business. The entire day went off without a single hitch! Bonus: ACE has a great stash of "stuff" (candle holders, picture frames, lanterns, etc.) that clients are able to use, which definitely comes in handy! I'm so thankful for the ACE team and have told all my engaged friends: *hire Lindsey!* She was our saving grace!!
The first thing I want to say about Amy Champagne Events (ACE) is that it’s the best investment we made concerning our wedding. I really don’t know how people get married without a planner, I certainly don’t want to even think about it. Thankfully, we decided early on that we needed someone to bring our vision to life, take care of all the details (and trust me, those details keep piling up in the weeks/days leading up to the wedding day) and make sure we actually enjoyed our big day. We enlisted ACE’s help early on in the wedding planning process, with about nine months to go. We purchased the month-of package, in addition to their design and décor services. We discussed our idea of a vintage glam/Great Gatsby/art deco-themed wedding in great detail, sent them inspirations, and at our first in-person meeting, Amy Champagne herself, and her superstar right-hand gal, Lindsey Anrico, presented us with a detailed proposal about how to achieve that look and feel. Being the pros that they are, they never propose anything outside your budget, so that was something we discussed right off the bat – how much we had to work with. I’ll say that our budget was on the modest side, but the beauty of ACE is that they made our vision a reality within the budget we laid out. And let me tell you, we don’t feel like we sacrificed anything. Our wedding was beautiful in every possible way. Some of the details they imbued our wedding with include vintage china, ostrich feathers mixed with florals, sequined champagne-colored table runners, gold candelabra, gold chargers, a vintage typewriter, a champagne tower, pearls hanging from the light fixtures, and more. ACE didn’t just propose these décor elements, they also helped us source them. They had quite a few items within their ACE stock of stuff (in-house items they’ve collected from years of wedding planning) and what they didn’t have in stock, they helped us secure at a good price, given the deals they have with local vendors with whom they work with a lot. I wish I could post a photo here because it was all so beautiful...We had constant communication with Lindsey (phone, email, and a few in-person meetings) leading up to the big day and I never felt like I was bothering her. She was so sweet not just to me, but also to the groom, and our family members and guests whom she met on the big day. I literally didn’t have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. Lindsey (and the assistants she brought on our wedding day) took care of it all. There is no detail they left unattended. They will dote on you, they will make sure you eat, that you have a drink if you want one, that you have access to that bag of essentials containing your deodorant, breath mints, lipstick, perfume, etc, that your groomsmen and bridesmaids have all their florals, that your shuttle bus is on time, that you and your loved ones are calm and beautiful because everything and I mean everything is under control. We consider Lindsey our angel and Amy a true visionary. We are profoundly and eternally grateful for all the rockstar ACE team did to give us the wedding of our dreams.
I can't say more about Amy and especially her right hand gal Lindsey! Lindsey helped with all aspects of the wedding planning! From site visits to going to florist (hating the mock up) to her realizing what and how the florist needed to change to make it exactly how I wanted (even when I couldn't even express it!!). Lindsey and Amy make the best power dou nothing was ever missed! Lindsey did most of the planning and Amy executed the day of duties!! Honestly you would be silly to over look this company, they take the stress completely out of wedding planning and make it fun and exciting! Thank you guys again!!!
I loved working with Lindsey Anrico! My husband and I live in Dallas, we got engaged in March and our wedding was July 4th in Milford, CT. So, planning a destination wedding in 4 months on a holiday weekend was interesting. :) We had 2 face to face meetings with Lindsey during our planning process because we were only able to make it up to CT twice during our planning. Most of our communication was phone, e-mail and Skype. During these meetings she brought multiple ideas for our reception and allowed us to discuss and kept us on track. Since we don’t live in CT we didn’t have any idea of who to use for vendors, she setup meetings with multiple vendors for everything from cake to photographer and got multiple bids for things from hotels to chair/tent rentals. She coordinated all of our vendors and was available when they showed up at our reception site (my parents house) to direct them how things needed to be setup. The day of she was amazing. She made sure the entire day ran smoothly from setup of chairs/flowers etc, to making sure dressing went well for me and my family and she also coordinated with the photographer for photos of my husband and his family before the wedding. She even identified party crashers before anyone at the reception even knew they were there.
We wanted a very low key beach reception with a slight nod to Texas and the 4th of July and she nailed it.
Lindsey from Amy Champagne Events was absolute perfection. She guided me through everything perfectly to make sure nothing fell through the cracks. Thanks to her, my wedding day was truly the best day of my life. The decor looked beautiful, everything flowed seamlessly and the level of professionalism blew me away. THANK YOU LINDSEY!
Working with Amy was absolutely the right decision. I owe my dream wedding to her.
We hired Amy as a partial planner a solid 16 months before my 5/21/2016 wedding. We went in just looking for month-of coordination, but two things sold me on partial planning: I would have access to Amy from day one, and she would provide design guidance for the entire event in addition to coordination.
Because we hired her so early, we didn't really get to work together until several months later. But from our design consultation (October '15) onward, I knew I couldn't do this without Amy. She took my mishmash of ideas and confused Pinterest board and created a gorgeous vision that felt so true to me and my now husband. She welcomed little personal details (hello, cheesy wedding cake topper) as truly personal, never judging or worrying that they might interfere with the overall look. She executed beautiful ideas while working with our budget (which we loosened up entirely by choice when we realized all the possibilities!). The wedding day felt entirely mine and John's, but Amy gets a ton of credit.
That's "creative Amy." Equally amazing is "running the show" Amy. One thing to note: I'm a control freak. I wanted to do everything as early as possible, and I wanted to understand how everything would play out well in advance. It was very hard for me to let go of things like the day-of timeline and the logistics of a wedding at multiple locations. Amy taught me to let go. Trusting her and ditching the "early as possible" mentality was a huge lesson for me as a bride and as a person. Early doesn't always mean better. The best brilliance comes in the final hours. And she is SO right about so many things: Holding off on choosing colors because you will get so sick of mint? 100% true. Staying in the limo until you are about to walk down the aisle? Genius. It was so fun sitting with my bridesmaids watching my guests enter behind tinted windows, and it totally calmed me down.
Of course there were many things I had total ownership of (remember: control freak), but pretty much any "day-of" operations were in Amy's hands. By the month or two before the wedding, I had total peace of mind knowing Amy was in charge. Bustle my dress? She's on it. Confirm delivery times with all the vendors? Not my job. Iron out any kinks in the timeline? All Amy. Work with the venue to flip the space after a bar mitzvah immediately prior, and have it look like a DREAM? Amy.
Amy is a wedding visionary. She's a no-BS businesswoman. She's a badass with a heart of gold. And I can't imagine my wedding day without her. It was flawless. Honorable mention to associate planner Courtney, who was also wonderful—such a pro, but I felt I'd known her for years. Even the lovely intern Marissa totally had it together and was a huge help on the day.
Amy helped me go from wanting to control my wedding to letting it wash over me. I really did. It was the best. day. ever.
I cannot say enough about how perfect our wedding and wedding planning process was with Amy. My Husband and I worked with Amy planning our wedding from the start. We were out of state so Amy made it real easy to talk to her/skype and always made us feel like we were right there with her in Connecticut. Instead of being stressed out, the wedding planning was actually really fun. We were amazed with all the ideas she came up with.
The wedding day was a perfect and not a single thing wasn't overlooked. Our wedding still is a favorite topic of conversation among our friends and we've even been picked up by 2 national magazines (including The Knot and The Knot's LGBT Wedding issue) and a wedding blog.
Again, you can't go wrong with Amy and you will love working with her. I can't say enough good things about her services and how much pride she puts into her work and making your day perfect.
I can't gush enough about how happy I was with Amy Champagne Events when all was said and done with my big day. Amy was on top of everything I needed from day 1 of our planning together. I loved that she had the flexibility of partial planning because I was too Type A to hand everything over to a wedding planner - we coordinated, collaborated, brain-stormed, vetted, bickered, laughed... together. It was perfect. Amy is just lovely and I'm happy to say that we still keep in touch after the wedding simply because her energy is contagious and I can't get enough. Amy took simple words from our first meeting about decor and turned them into exactly what I was dreaming in my head, but couldn't easily describe - it was like she was in my brain throughout the entire process truthfully. The decor for our day was just downright incredible. I'm still proud of the pictures and even though I choose to do a lot of DIY projects, my contributions along with Amy's eye for aesthetics really turned out to be the perfect combination for a beautiful, ethereal setting. As for timeline - she made sure everything ran smoothly and hired assistants who were just lovely and so helpful for our wedding party to work with. She hooked me up with amazing vendors and negotiated reasonable rates that I know I wouldn't have been able to get myself without the ACE name next to mine in email! Don't think twice about reaching out to Amy. You'll be hooked as soon as you meet her. I know I was! ;)
My husband and I owe a million thank yous to Amy. We were married on a farm where we had to bring in everything from the chairs, to the booze, to the cookware. With so much to coordinate (and with us living out of state) we wanted someone to help get us through the month leading up the wedding and the day of. I thank my lucky stars that that person was Amy.
Amy is incredible at what she does. She knows all the vendors you would want to work with. She has great sense of style. She immediately is able to look at everything going on and figure out if it will work/where the kinks are/etc. She works effortlessly to realize your vision. And lastly, she is just a truly lovely, lovely person who adds a sense of calm to the months and days leading up to your wedding.
After sorting through our rsvps roughly two weeks before our wedding we noticed that 98% of the people we invited were indeed going to attend which was great(!)...but unexpected. This meant that the room we were planning to use for the reception would no longer accommodate the number of guests attending, which meant we needed to get a tent, order new tables and chairs, re-organize seating, etc. Amy made this bump feel like nothing which made all the difference in the world to us.
I cannot recommend Amy enough. She was truthfully the best investment we made throughout the entire planning process and I feel lucky to have worked with her.
Amy Champagne Events coordinated our daughter's wedding this past December. Because our daughter lives out of state, Amy was wonderful about keeping her "in the loop" without overwhelming her with all the details. Amy took the idea for an aviation themed reception in an airplane hangar (our son-in-law is a Naval Flight Officer) and turned it into an event beyond anything we imagined! Every aspect of the reception (caterer, lighting, music) was perfectly arranged by Amy and her team. Her attention to detail and sense of style made the reception an evening our guests are still talking about!
I quickly realized a month into planning my outdoor, out of state wedding that it was more than I could handle on my own. I searched through many Connecticut wedding planners and had trouble finding one that fit our style. Then I found Amy. From just looking at her site, I knew she thought differently from the cookie cutter planners I was coming across. Five minutes into meeting her in person, we knew we had to sign her on to help create the day of our dreams.
Let me just say that Amy is PHENOMENAL! Her skill is really “getting” her clients straight out of the gate. She gets to know the couple, their style, their vision and how they communicate almost instantly. With that knowledge, she’s off and running and doesn't slow down for one second! Almost immediately, Amy feels like an old friend, not a vendor. She gets genuinely excited about your big day and works tirelessly to flawlessly execute on your behalf.
She brought us incredible vendor recommendations and we could not have been happier with the ones we ended up choosing. I’m a textbook type A personality and even though I hadn't seen the full set up of the ceremony area, cocktail hour, or reception tent, I knew it would be absolute perfection because Amy always gets it right, every time. I cannot speak highly enough of the events she produces or her business acumen. She’s one in a million :)
I had the pleasure of working with Amy a few months back, in May. I was so overwhelmed with my wedding planning and knew I needed help. I can't begin to describe how thankful I am that I took the step of calling Amy. From the first time we met, she made me feel so comfortable, it felt like I was having coffee with a good friend. Amy helped and supported me every step of the way with my wedding planning. She knew exactly how to convey my style better than I did. My husband and I are so thankful for her and the peace of mind she gave us. Our wedding turned out more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! I highly recommend Amy Champagne Events!
I cannot even begin to tell future brides how amazing Amy is! Amy was by far the BEST decision we made while wedding planning. With a tight budget, we were hesitant to hire a planner, but we are SO thankful we hired Amy!! Amy is not an ordinary wedding planner, she is so much more! She is outgoing, friendly, and filled with so many creative ideas. Amy makes you feel more like a friend that is equally excited for your wedding as you are, rather than a client. She has an incredible wealth of wedding knowledge and plans out all of the small details that you would never even think of! Throughout our entire wedding process, Amy went above and beyond to help us plan out many DIY projects, borrow items from her stock of stuff (which is amazing in itself), and to help keep us in our budget. The day of our wedding, Amy surprised us even more by going above and beyond more than we could have ever imagined! Unfortunately, we had a tropical storm on the day of our wedding and had 2+ hours of outdoor photos planned. Amy cleared out her entire studio for us and literally saved the day so we could take pictures in her gorgeous studio. I honestly do not know what we would have done without Amy. I highly recommend Amy to anyone considering hiring a wedding planner. I can guarantee that hiring her will be the best decision you make!
Amy made my dream wedding come to life! She took my ideas and completed the research to make them happen for a cost within my budget. She is detail-orientated, organized to the minute, and worth every penny. :)
I called Amy Champagne Events about coordinating my wedding based on reviews I read on the knot a year and a half ago. I spoke with Amy that day and didn't bother calling anyone else after that. Best decision I ever made during this year and a half process (after saying "I do", of course). Amy and Linsdey worked with me throughout the entire process. They were always available to me when I needed them and were extremely responsive to every call, email and text. With their advice, counsel, and friendship, I pulled off the wedding of my dreams. Of all the money I spent, this was the best. I could not have made it through this process or the day without them.
What can I say about Amy and Lindsey? They are truly amazing at what they do! My wedding would not have turned out as perfect as it did without their help. They were so attentive to everything that I wanted for my wedding. They were a huge help in planning out the decor, timeline of the day, making sure everything went smoothly and we were on time for each event. Lindsey contacted each one of my vendors and made sure that everyone was on the same page. I did not have to worry about anything, and I was able to enjoy my day just like any bride should with the confidence that Lindsey was going to take care of everything. And to top it off - nothing went wrong!! I owe that all to Lindsey and Amy. Thank you so much!!!
I was married just a few short weeks ago, and I already miss Amy! She was recommended to me by a co-worker, and at first I thought - I have this! I love planning and have a ton of my own ideas. Then, I talked to Amy. Within the first half hour conversation, I felt like she knew me, and cared about my wedding almost as much as I did. I used her "weekend of" services, but in truth, it amounted to much more. She helped me organize my thoughts in the beginning, and offered ideas of ways to elevate aspects of the day. Sequined tablecloths and sparklers on the champagne bottles?! AMAZING! The support leading up to the day - from answering my annoying questions to organizing deliveries and pick-ups at the venue, to creating a timeline for the entire 32 person wedding party, to the set up of the actual room - she had me totally covered. I wanted to spend the entire weekend spending time with the people in my life that mattered most, not worrying about these details, and she handled 100% of everything. In fact, everything was so perfect, that the very night of my wedding, one of the guests asked her if she was available for her wedding. (She isn't by the way - she has already been scooped up!) There are a million tiny decisions that you have to make during this process, and I can say she was my best one.
Amy Champagne did an amazing job coordinating our wedding day. Amy is professional and organized and she made our Wedding day run smoothly and added her own beautiful style to the overall design and feel of the day. We highly recommend her for to assist in your wedding day or other events.
Amy made our rehearsal through dropping gifts off to my parents house the day after the wedding a breeze. She had everything under control and knew where to be when and what needed to be done. The day of, myself, my husband, our parents and bridal party didn't have to worry about a thing, she and our other venders had everything just the way we wanted! A planner is well worth the cost, for your piece of mind!
As a very DIY (and very meticulous) type of person, I needed a day-of coordinator who could execute the details of our day and our decor exactly how I envisioned it in my head. From a design and execution standpoint, I metaphorically needed my brain in a coordinator's head the day of - someone who precisely understood our vision, our style, our overall look and feel and really got who we were as a couple - to ensure that the day was carried out perfectly, and so I could relax and enjoy every single second, and not worry about the logistical stuff.
Amy was the most phenomenal response to this challenge my husband and I were faced with, and was more than worthy of holding my brain in her head for the day :) She worked with us at length a few months prior to our wedding day, and was always willing and able via text, email, phone or in-person meetings. Her objective was always to carry-out our day just as we saw it, and helped build and grow ideas to make them even better.
Our ceremony was perfect, our detailed and multi-faceted reception decor was set-up above and beyond what was expected and our cocktail hour and reception flowed flawlessly. If there were any last minute changes the day of, Amy and her team handled them so eloquently that we didn't even know they existed or happened.
We were more than satisfied with the outcome and we were able to enjoy our day thoroughly. When we think back on our wedding day, the fun memories and how perfect it was, we really have Amy to thank.
I remember the day like it was yesterday, my mom and I met Ms. Champagne at Cafe' Atlantique in the heart of downtown Milford for a meeting. We were immediately smitten by the warm energy, cute bottle of champagne with a yellow ribbon tied and the bubbly personality of Amy. I instantly felt comfortable with her knowledge of the industry. She truly LOVES what she does and it shows. After talking for a while about ideas and the big day we were SOLD ad our planning began together. Since that meeting Amy and I would bounce back ideas, met at my parents for visual ideas and shared in the entire planning process. She recommended confident, loyal and trustworthy vendors that my husband and I will be forever grateful for. Now fast forward 11 months to our big day on August 3, 2013 at my parents beach in Milford, Ct from the second I woke up Amy and her team were hustling and bustling from every aspect of the day. Checking the weather, to tiniest little details of gift giving. Every bride dreads that something will go wrong on their big day, and for us there were a few hiccups. The weather cleared just in time for our first look, a few wedding crashers (about 15) in which she graciously handled and the band unfortunately blew there AMP during our first dance, yes our first dance. With Amy's swift thought process we were dancing again in no time and the night went off without a hitch. With throwing such a large event (265) at my parents home I wanted to make sure that there was no worry in the world for them and Amy was just the person for that. She made us feel like "The Guests of Honor" at our wedding, the way every bride and groom should feel. I highly would recommend Amy for any bride and hope one day she'll help plan big events for our own family someday!! I love you CHAMPAGNE xoxo The Eatons
Amy was hands-down the most amazing vendor that I've had the pleasure of working with. Amy was with me from the beginning of all my wedding planning, right up until the big day! She helped organize all of my scattered wedding ideas, so that we had a clear and cohesive theme that was perfect on the day of! She would help me with vendor referrals, and would even assist or accompany me on some of my vendor meetings. On the actual wedding day, Amy was instrumental in making sure that all of the vendors knew where and when to be there, as well as overseeing (and actually doing - I even saw her get up on a ladder in some serious gusts of wind to ensure that our arbor looked perfect!) all of the setup. Amy made sure that we were on time throughout the entire night, which was a blessing in and of itself. Without her, everyone (bridal party included...and Groom) would have been all over the place and completely unorganized! On the day of, you get pulled in a million directions, so having Amy to shuffle me to where I REALLY needed to be was a must! I will be recommending her services to everyone I know that will be planning an upcoming event or wedding! I am going to be an Amy Champagne Events groupie for life!!!
I was slightly apprehensive on spending money on a wedding planner but from the first day we met her, I realized that she was going to turn our "BIG" day into something special.
We had seen one or two other events that Amy had worked at on the venue we were having the wedding and were impressed by her attention to detail.
Amy came into her own with her list of connections, helping us with an array of vendors that could help us to get the wedding we wanted, told us where we could save and helped us create some unique ideas that provided the "Wow" factor.
Amy was always on hand and met with us on multiple occasions as the venue was being reconstructed after the Sandy storm. Her passion for our day was contagious and we were always comfortable that the day would go to plan upon hiring her.
When the pressure was on in the last week or so, Amy took control with her reassuring "don't worry guys - I'll take care of that" - and of course she did!
She gave us a real vision on how the day would go, not leaving anything behind.
On the day of the wedding it was like having a best friend present - There when needed, but not taking the limelight. Everything ran smoothly! Her ability to deal with things not going to plan is where she earns her money and keeping the venue open and DJ playing for an extra 45 minutes whilst everyone was having the time of their lives was a master stroke!
I know that we won't be needing her again for Wedding purposes, but we will certainly recommend her to anyone looking to get married or indeed any other event! Cannot wait to have an excuse for another event with Amy!
We also feel that we've made a new friend. Thanks Amy!
This review is long overdue, but how do you put into words how unbelievably appreciative you are of the person who helped make your wedding the most spectacular day of your life? Let me tell you, it is hard. My husband James and I were married in April 2013. We enlisted the help of Amy Champagne events only a few months prior to our wedding. While we had already made many of the big decisions and we knew the “look and feel” we were going for (and importantly, we knew what we did not want), we felt that we needed outside help to really pull it all together – all of the little details that make the day special and unique. We met with Amy in a coffee shop one weekend to introduce ourselves and see what services she offered. I left that meeting extraordinarily excited and knowing, with 100% certainty that our wedding was going to be spectacular. Within the time it took for us to have one cup of coffee, Amy had already put my anxious mind at ease. In fact, each time I met with Amy after that day, I always walked away with the same feeling – calm, unmatched happiness and just plain excited for my wedding. I just knew that our wedding would be perfect because we had Amy Champagne events in our corner. Amy helped us bring together all of the little details that we would have never considered, while still letting our vision shine through. When we were dealing with difficult vendors, Amy stepped in and took over for us. When we were at a loss for making a decision, Amy didn’t make it for us, but rather helped us get to the answer that she knew we had, but hadn’t yet realized. And frankly, when I just needed someone to talk me down and let me know that things were going to be great, Amy was the person that could do that. Leading up to our wedding, all our family and friends knew Amy not as “our wedding planner” but simply, as “Amy.” Because to us, she was more than someone we’d hired, she became a friend and she became an integral part of our day. Without a second of hesitation or doubt, I would highly recommend Amy Champagne events. Amy helped make our wedding day perfect and there is no question in our minds, none of what happened that day could have happened without Amy. She is professional, she is amazing at what she does, and most importantly, you can tell that she takes so much pride in her work and truly cares about the couple and their day, as if it were her own. She is, simply put, the best. Thank you Amy!
Amy Champagne Events was such a lifesaver at our wedding and I'm so so so glad we hired her! She took care of all the details that made the day run smoothly so my husband and I could just enjoy the day.
In the months leading up to the wedding, Amy attended vendor meetings with me and helped coordinate my color scheme, decor, and REALLY helped keep my budget down.
We got married at Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park, which has little very time for set-up. Amy and her team decorated the whole reception, working like a well-oiled machine. Amy lent us her own decor (gold chargers, string lights, candle sticks, frames) and created a beautiful atmosphere for our reception.
Amy put together timelines for my vendors and bridal party, which kept us on schedule. Her advice for day-of was SPOT ON and the day ran smoothly because of her expertise. The day goes by so quickly and she kept everything right on track.
My favorite moment with Amy was just before I walked down the aisle. I was so excited and full of emotion, and she calmed me right down. She knew just what to say and I am so grateful.
Amy coordinated the rehearsal, took care of my vendors, and took such good care of us. My husband and I partied the whole night and, all the while, she was taking care of every little thing (and the big things - She packed up all of the gifts and decor for us so we never had to lift a finger!) I felt like a guest at my own wedding and it was a blast.
Amy is professional, organized, and I don't know what I would've done without her. I highly recommend Amy Champagne Events.
I hired Amy many months before the wedding and we already had a venue and photographer but she made wonderful suggestions for florist, favors, decorations, timing, menu, and so much more. Less than 6 months before our June wedding we lost our venue to super storm Sandy and were scrambling and so upset. Amy found us a wonderful venue set up a meeting in the middle of a terrible snow storm, because it was the only time we had all the people who needed to be there actually there. Amy was there at that meeting and so many others to smooth the way with wonderful suggestions and helpful ideas. It is not an exaggeration to say that we would never have had such a beautiful and fun wedding if it were not for Amy and her wonderful assistant. And through it all she was a pleasure to work with. Any bride would be lucky to have her working to make her day perfect.
Amy did an amazing job to make our big day look beautiful and run smoothly. She helped coordinate multiple vendors, and made some of my DIY ideas possible without me spending my entire wedding day making bouquets and decorations. I was really able to relax and enjoy. She also got us a credit from certain vendors who made errors on the day of. I highly recommend Amy and think that her services are worth every penny.
Our engagement was 18 months long, which gave us plenty of time to plan our wedding day. It also gave me bundles of time to stress out about the wedding and continuously change my mind. We chose our venue knowing that it was going to be more work for us, but we fell in love and never looked back! About six months into planning I realized just how much work we actually had gotten ourselves into, and I began to stress/panic/freak-out . I had heard that there were services out there that would provide day-of-coordination. I searched online for DOC and came across Amy Champagne. From the moment I read her "About Me" section on her website I was hooked, and I immediately was planning a way to convince my fiance that we had to hire her. He didn't need much convincing.
We met with Amy twos days later at her favorite place...Starbucks, and we left the meeting with a complete sense of calm. I knew at the moment that we had just made the best decision for our wedding.
As the months passed by, Amy was there for making sure that we had everything we wanted and needed, including attending some of our vendor meetings. She was there to ask the appropriate questions and fill in the gaps that we never even knew were there. Amy was there to answer questions as well. She knew our wedding inside and out, and was always prepared and ready to solve major and minor problems.
Our wedding day was without questions the BEST day of our lives. I can't say for certain that it would have been without Amy and her amazing team. They worked so hard, and so long to make sure that every single detail was perfect. I can't even begin to list all of the amazing work that they accomplished along with their efforts to fix any mishaps that came our way. I'm sure there were more glitches throughout the day that we weren't even aware of, but Amy handled everything, so that we could enjoy our day. We hired Amy so that we would be able to sit back, relax, and focus on our wedding day. That's exactly what we did. We were able to enjoy our wedding day together, and we will be forever grateful to Amy and her team for allowing us to do so.
Hiring Amy was by far the best decision we made while planning our wedding. From the moment we met, to the time she was helping pack our cars after the reception, Amy was a complete rock star! She has a true passion for all things wedding, and works hard to deliver the best day ever. Amy met with us multiple times and worked with our budget to create a day that was truly unique and reflective of Mike and I. She connected with all of our vendors and made sure the entire day was seamless and stress free for the entire bridal party. She handled all challenges and unexpected situations with ease, and ensured hat nothing disrupted our day in the slightest way! Oh, and her endless "stock of stuff" was so fun to shop through and create awesome ambiance for our ceremony and reception. I could go on forever about how helpful and amazing Amy was. I relied on her every step of the way and was thrilled with every last detail. An added benefit-you feel like you are working with an old friend the whole time! I will definitely recommend Amy to any bride I talk to!!! You're the best Amy xoxo
Everything was great!! Amy did a wonderful job coordinating everything (at least I think she did because I didn't have to do anything!!!) and the night definitely went off without a hitch. She was available throughout the planning process to bounce ideas off of, to give guidance, provide referals, etc. Although she's based out of Milford and our wedding was in Farmington (about an hour away) she never once hesitated to meet up with us...she was always a pleasure to work with!
I would definitely recommend Amy to anyone looking for some extra help....for me it was perfect because I'm a control freak....and the services she provided enabled me to maintain enough control to feel comfortable while still feeling confident everything would get done! Having Amy take care of the vendor calls the week of was amazingly helpful and being there for the overall day was just great. I really don't even know what she had to do that day...but what I do know is I didn't have to do anything which is exactly what I wanted! She made it easier for myself, my mother & my bridal party. All of my bridesmaid's said it was the least stressful wedding they'd ever been in!
It's difficult for me to remember many of the comments from my friends and family on that special and exciting day because it really did go as fast as everyone warned. One question I do remember so clearly came from my Maid of Honor multiple times throughout the day. "Where on earth did you find Amy?" she asked in awe.
I was struggling to juggle work and wedding planning, plus an uncooperative Event Planner at the reception venue, when a friend from college suggested I utilize Amy Champagne's day of wedding services. The first time Amy and I sat down, I felt like a weight was immediately lifted from my shoulders. The coordinator at the reception venue was being extremely difficult with my florist, dj and photographer. Presumably this was because I did not utilize her “people”.
Amy relieved me of the burden of communicating directly with the coordinator at the venue and so much more. She organized the days events in advance with everyone from our florist to the photographer and I heard nothing but positive feedback. Amy was also kind enough to help us with the transportation of our cupcake cakes, going above and beyond whats expected.
I highly recommend working with Amy to make your special day even more so!
Amy Champagne was fabulous! We utilized her 'day of' wedding coordinator services, tasking her with managing all of the vendors and details while my husband and I got to enjoy our special day - worry free! She was a true professional - detail oriented where it counted, flexible (as there are bound to be last minute fire drills - or rain!), gracious with our parents and guests, and importantly respected by our vendors. I have an event marketing background and am a 'detail planner' by all accounts, but this was one day that I needed to let go. Amy was the one I trusted - and we have no regrets! Everything was managed seamlessly - with TLC, casual sophistication and genuine care. I have since recommended Amy Champagne to my friend who got married 2 weeks after us – and received endless thanks and kudos for the referral – Amy really blew them away, too!
After learning that Amy was a bridal assistant/event planner. I quickly contacted her to see if she would be willing to take on another bride. We met over coffee to go over the basic information and to get an idea of what the time line of the day would look like. Amy was always prepared and willing to help in anyway to make things easier for me, even a quick run to IKEA to grab more frames. When our wedding day arrived, she was there to make sure everything went the way we had hoped for. She helped with getting the guys situated, she brought the flowers from the church to the reception, Amy was even there to re-bustle my dress during the night. If you are a bride looking for someone who absolutely loves wedding and wants to help you in any way possible, Amy Champagne Events is who you need to call!
Amy Champagne is not only an awesome event planner and wedding coordinator, she's also got an amazing eye for styling a unique photo shoot. My husband and I had a Rock (Trash) the Dress photo session planned in an apple/pumpkin orchard this October -- we love fall and met on Halloween, so pretty us-appropriate! But, we were even more excited when we were connected with Amy Champagne to help stylize the shoot and make it a bit more than just us standing between the trees!
Before we even got started, Amy carefully reviewed our wedding photos, the details, and my dress in order to get a feel of our style and "vibe" -- she came to all the right conclusions, a little vintage, romance and nature! She then sent me some storyboard ideas, and my husband and I gave her feedback and suggestions. Amy listened to each and every one of our requests! She is a great listener and so easy to worth with.
When we arrived at the orchard the day of the shoot -- which was at sunrise at 7 am! -- we were greeted by a GORGEOUS scene. Amy had come to the orchard much earlier than we had to set up a romantic, wonderful table flanked by beautiful cloth covered chairs (great texture!) and set with natural accessories (log candle holders!) , wrought iron lamps, candles, beautiful chargers, plates and crystals... she even hung lighting from the trees above :) Baskets of fruit surrounded us, along with plates laden with muffins! It was like some kind of other-worldly sunrise breakfast for the elegant -- on the hilltop of a breathtaking Connecticut orchard! Each object, color, item was cohesive with the natural setting, and just came together as the perfect stylized shoot.
My husband and I had so much fun during this shoot, we know our photos will look amazing. Amy created a memorable scene in which we could really wear and LIVE the romance and elegance of our wedding day again, but in a beautiful, natural setting of our choice.
Also, Amy just has an awesome personality-- so organized, at-ease, and fun. I HIGHLY recommend her. She has an excellent eye for original design and detail -- outside the box but totally tailored and made to order for you :)
I am an event professional who has been working in fundraising and development events for the past 10 years. When it came to wedding planning, it felt like work. As much as I love all the details, I found it difficult to make decisions when it came to my own event. After talking to Amy, I knew it would be the absolute best decision I would make the bring her on board for my wedding. Not only was she an impartial sounding board for ideas but she became 100% knowledgeable about the look and feel I wanted for the day and helped me to weigh choices and feel good about my plans. Knowing that Amy could represent me and make well-informed decisions on my behalf on the day of the wedding is an event professionals dream. I did not want to make decisions about timing, hear about delays in the kitchen or problems with lighting or finding a missing relative! On the day of my wedding I did nothing but enjoy the day. My husband asked me a day or so later what Amy really did.... that's when I told him that is how we knew she did her job perfectly. Amy seamlessly delivered the perfect day. Any questions, concerns, dilemmas, hitches in plans Amy adapted to. She undoubtedly kept the ship afloat. She was not afraid to make tough decisions or adjustments so that my husband and I and our guests had no idea what was happening behind the scenes. People always say, no one will know the difference if something is wrong, only you will but I can say with absolute certainty that Amy made everything perfect. Thanks Amy!
I don’t even know where to begin. Amy was the absolute BEST thing that could have happened to our wedding. Although Amy was brand new to the business when I hired her… I want to say I was like her third bride or something like that. I knew that she was going to be AMAZING! When we first met I was a bit overwhelmed with life and had left my wedding planning on the back burner. Amy encouraged me and helped me to plan the wedding of my dreams. I went from using the venue supplied centerpieces to creating a gorgeous DIY wedding. Amy listened to me time and time again as I changed my mind. She even came with me to the craft store and helped pick out the paper for my escort cards and the vases for my centerpieces. She knew that I had a vision and she helped me to make it come to life. That’s what makes Amy different from your ordinary event coordinator, she goes above and beyond, she is passionate about wedding, and is just plain wonderful. She is PERFECT for brides that want to plan a DIY wedding and need some creative suggestions! She helps to calm your nerves and leave you feeling confident… she literally sat in my kitchen with me as I cried with wedding anxiety and told me that everything was going to be great and that she had it under control. She keep telling me to trust her… as a bit of a control freak that was hard to do but she was right! She was professional and organized… very organized. She did everything from the help me plan the décor, to calling vendors the week of, to organizing my rehearsal, to chasing my hairdresser down the street to have him fix the strand of hair I wasn’t happy with, to folding the napkins the “special way” I wanted them folded at the reception, to repining my hair before I even knew it fell out, to taking everything home including my cake and putting it my fridge for me! I could go on and on about how wonderful Amy is but now it’s time to call her and see for yourself… I promise you won’t be disappointed!
It's hard to know where to start!! My initial phone conversation with Amy lasted about 2 hours!! I didn't want to hang up!! She made me even more excited about our wedding than I already was. We were getting married in a difficult location and knew we needed help. She was the best thing I did for our wedding. Any question or concern o had she had an answer or a solution. And she didn't wait days to get back to you. When we met I knew she was perfect!! My fiancé was a little harder to please, so I was nervous when I bought him to our final meeting. Needless to say we walked out of there and he was so happy that we had made the choice. I believe his words were "this girl is awesome and has her sh** together"!! He laughs because after our first conversation I kept saying please please let me hire Amy:) She did everything from calling to make sure the vendors were lined up and ready to go, and calming my nerves. Our rehearsal was painless, and super fast too!! She was so organized with a timeline that I didn't need to worry about where anyone was standing, going etc. wedding day she stopped at the hotel to check on me which made me feel VERY relaxed knowing that things were going smooth! She helped hang the dress perfectly for the photographer before they even arrived!!! She even bought a tackle box which can only be described as a LIFESAVER!!! When we arrived at the venue my eyes filled with tears. Not only did the ceremony was everything I dreamed of and more!!! She did such an amazing job. It's hard to visualize something without seeing it. But he took this vision to a whole other level!! Perfect is not even close to describe it. It started to rain just about towards the end of the ceremony, and Amy was all over it. We had umbrellas over our heads in seconds and were then rushed inside and toweled off. I felt so bad for her and her assistant they were soaked. But she didn't care her first concern was that I was ok!! Amazing!!!! Even with the rain the wedding was flawless thanks to her. I don't think I could say enough good things about her, I want to get married every weekend just so I can work with her!!!!! I'm telling everyone I know to use Amy!! She can only be described as the best. She loves her job and it shows in everything she does. I enjoyed everything about planning the wedding and enjoying the night thanks to her!! Amy you are amazing and I hope to work with you again!!!!!!!!
First of all, I just have to say there wouldn't have been a wedding without Amy Champagne. We had a tented wedding at my husband's father's house and Amy took care of everything from overseeing the construction of the tent to decorating the tables, to setting up all of the decorations and lighting that made our day so special. She did everything perfectly and always had a huge smile on her face. I didn't even have to give her design direction. She executed everything flawlessly and made our venue look amazing.Even when an impending tornado threatened to shut down our wedding, Amy put her rain coat on, braved the elements and made sure that alternate plans were in place in case of a cancellation. She did everything behind the scenes so we could enjoy ourselves without having a care in the world. I literally didn't have a care in the world because Amy was there. I am so thankful that I had her by my side at my wedding. We would recommend her a thousand times over. Thank you so much Amy!!!
