Applause was an amazing company to work with - they provided us with amazing DJ services, they kept the dance floor going all night! I am so happy we chose Applause for our wedding and recommend them highly!

We found Applause Productions after we booked our wedding venue. They had done the videography that was featured on our venue's website (The Venue at Maison du Lac) and we were so impressed! I reached out and received a response quickly and a price to bundle together everything (photobooth, DJ, videography and uplighting) for a price that we couldn't pass up. The bundle also made it so much less stressful for us having to communicate with several different vendors and repeating ourselves- so that was an added bonus. Our wedding was two weeks ago and I loved working with Abby (videographer) she was so nice and accomodating. Garrett our DJ was also fantastic and didn't miss a beat on anything! He accepted requests from my guests and played all the songs we had on our list and it was absolutely perfect. We also received our sneak peek video 3 days after our wedding and were blown away with everything they were able to capture in such a short video!! We can't wait to see the rest. Thank you so much Applause for being such a big part of our special day!!!!

Applause did the ceremony music and DJ for my son’s wedding. Amanda was very responsive to all communication and very knowledgeable when it came to scheduling to ensure that our day went smoothly. Our DJ was fantastic. He kept everything on track and was very accommodating when it came to guest requests. Thank you Applause for making sure our day was perfect.

Applause truly went above and beyond to make our day magical. Through all of the rescheduling because of COVID, they were so supportive and so flexible. In March after our first attempt at a wedding was cancelled, Amanda was the first person my mom called looking for advice and she truly talked us down and together we made a plan. Come September we used them for photobooth, videography, and DJ services. They exceeded our expectations and it was magical. We received so many compliments on song selections and John had the dance floor popping all night. The fisheye photobooth was a huge hit. I am so glad we chose Applause! I highly recommend! It’s like a wedding planner and DJ in one :)

If I could give more than 5 stars. I absoutely would. I booked Applause for my December 2019 wedding at Haue Valley and am so thankful that I did. From the open house where I met them to recieving our video footage after the wedding there was never a delay in communication or annoyance at my 1000 questions or silly requests. Heck they even responded when they were on a family vacation letting me know that they were away but would look at their system and answer my question as soon as they got back on Monday so I wasn't left hanging wondering when they were going to respond. The day of our wedding there was a huge snow storm. My guests were cancelling left and right as the highway and other roads shut down. They sent me a text first thing that morning letting me know that no matter what they would be there... and they were! And they were there way ahead of schedule. They helped with the timeline, questions I had throughout the day, getting the most gorgeous shots, recommending some places to my photographer and even surprising my groom with a mini mosh pit during our reception. Applause Wedding are the people you want to book for your special day. They will make sure not a moment is missed. We booked them for Photobooth, DJ, Cermeony sound, and videographer and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. They called me a few times during the planning process and again a few days before the wedding to confirm there were no changes and went over the timeline. Everything went exactly to plan. The cermeony music, mic for our officiant and everything went on with no issues! We booked the photobooth option and it was the hit of the night. Our guest took home a print out of their photo AND they were all uploaded to Facebook that same night so they could share and tag themselves. Speaking of same night... my wedding was December 15th. I had the sneak peak of my wedding footage at midnight that night!! Within just a few hours of my wedding being over they uploaded a sneak peak that my family and friends that missed the wedding were able to enjoy! I am a huge Harry Potter nerd and was super excited to see that they had a "Dealthly Hallows" monogram for lighting. I was able to add a bit of one of my favorite things into the wedding because of this! The reception dances, music, dj everything was smooth and the dance floor was almost never empty. It's important to have such a great DJ who can control a group and keep everything running smoothly and Garrett did amazing. After the wedding was over, they kept me up to date with when they were working on the final video and what day I would get it and once again... I got it earlier than I expected! The best part is that they give you the ENTIRE footage of your day on top of the highlight film. They keep the camera rolling all night (ceremony, reception, dances) and give you ALL the footage. There are so many things that I missed that night that I was able to see for myself and share with my guests that couldn't be there. I am so glad that we had Applause. They never let us down a single time and always kept me calm (which was hard when people kept cancelling haha). Abby, Garrett, Amanda and John are FANTASTIC. And if I ever need to use a DJ or Videographer again... I will definitely be calling them and I recommend you give them a call too!!

I used Applause for DJ and video services at my wedding at Little Piney Lodge in November 2019. After searching and looking at many DJ and video companies, I found Applause and they were the whole package, making my life so much easier. Booking with Amanda was a breeze. I had a ton of questions and she worked with me to find the package that was best. I used them for our ceremony sound and audio as well and everything turned out great. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Amanda, John and Abby arrived to set-up and immediately started filming. They worked so well with my photographer. Everything felt so natural, you couldn’t even tell they were there. The shots they got were amazing and I can’t say enough about the drone footage. Our video turned out amazing and I’ve gotten so much wonderful feedback from my friends and family. What’s even better is you don’t just get a sneak peak and a highlight video- you get full footage of your ceremony and reception. I LOVED being able to share our highlights with everyone and watch the full ceremony with my husband and family. It was amazing being able to relive those moments. Nothing felt fake or rehearsed. I had a specific timeline I wanted for our reception and Amanda made sure they got everything and more. John was the BEST DJ/EMCEE- I was worried because I’ve been to and in weddings where names are pronounced wrong, people are skipped, and events are missed- I had nothing to worry about. Everything was on queue and the timing was perfect. We made a list of songs that were our ‘must haves’ and songs we liked or that were requested from our guests- and John took it from there. We had a packed dancefloor the entire night which was exactly what we wanted. I am so lucky and thankful to have booked Applause and highly recommend doing so if you’re questioning it.

LOVED!! Everyone was amazing to work with and so kind!! The videos are beautiful and something I will cherish for the rest of my life! The DJ was fantastic and knew exactly how to keep the party going!! The girls who did our video were so kind and easy to work with!! We loved having them at our wedding and would recommend them to anyone!

Applause Weddings handled our granddaughter's wedding and reception videos, DJ, lighting, photo booth and monogram. They are very helpful in developing the timeline and all the details of the ceremony and reception with their significant planning form. Nothing is left to chance along with suggestions to make the flow of events more efficient. We just viewed the sneak peak video, it is really creative, can't wait for the full day video. They filmed the wedding and reception at NEO on Locust. Rooftop of NEO had drone video for first look which was beautiful. The evening drone shot looking through the 4th floor window showing their up lighted monogram on the wall was too cool. Amanda did the videography and worked flawlessly with the photographer. Terrance provided the fish eye photo booth where 83 pictures were taken and provided to guests, then posted on FB the next day. Terrance was great with our guests and the photo booth was a big hit. Our DJ was John and he really played the music that had everyone dancing the entire night. Applause Weddings was professional from start to finish, going over the events in detail the week of the wedding. We give them 10 stars!!

Everyone from this company was so amazing to work with. We used all four product they had to offer and we couldn’t be any happier. The DJ played the music and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Everyone loved the photo booth option and we got so many compliments on it!! Fisheye is the way to go! Our monogram turned out exactly how we wanted and made our venue look amazing. Lastly, the videographer was amazing to work with. Our preview from the day looked amazing and they were so easy to work with! They were always so fast at getting back to us and answered any questions we had! We highly recommend them for any service you may need and take the group packing! It won’t let you down!

John was our DJ and he was very professional and kind. They were very considerate to our music interests and also played a lot of music that go A LOT of people out onto the dance floor. They did a video for us and the drone footage was great! Also had the fisheye photobooth and that was very popular with guests. Our wedding was at Haue Valley which they know very well so they knew exactly how to set up and everything.

We used Applause Weddings DJ and Video for our wedding and they brought so much fun and entertainment than we could imagine! John, Amanda and the family is so attentive and responsive up to planning the wedding and even after! Their music had all our guest on the dance floor all night and people raving about it after our wedding! Their videography is amazing! Overall the DJ was very good! The company was on time had all the equipment set up and there were no problems. They also did a very good job of keeping the time scheduled. The flow of the wedding was perfect!

When we started wedding planning, DJ was one of our lowest priorities and we were not thinking we needed a videographer/formal photobooth. Wow was I wrong. Applause helped make our day so incredibly amazing and run so smoothly that I can’t imagine having anyone else for these roles. Their relationship with our venue (Haue Valley) and willingness to lend a helping hand resulted in some fun adventures across the farm! The photobooth was a hit! We also loved that they were able to create a neutral uplighting as it came with our package and we did not like the neon colors (personal preference) but the neutral/gold was perfect! The videos we received were also unbelievable and it has been the perfect way to relive our wedding day whenever we want. Amanda also was able to get them finished up right before I went to visit family that were unable to travel to the wedding so I could watch the videos with them, it was truly special reliving that moment with them! Thank you, Applause, you truly made us feel like part of the family and we are so glad we had you with us on our special day!

I have been to plenty of weddings with terrible DJ's...and trust me, you do NOT want that to be your wedding! Applause Productions provided me with an excellent DJ service. They played all the songs I wanted, as well as refused guests of requesting the songs I didn't want. They were upbeat, and my dance floor was packed all night--with all generations of people. An excellent value and an excellent vendor all around.

Every bit of our experience with Applause was above and beyond what we expected! They were wonderful before, during, and after the wedding and we are so happy with our decision to have them as a part of our big day!

After reading a lot of past brides comments on how they wished they had this that and the other I knew I needed to get an entire package. The Round of Applause package had DJ+Videographer+Fisheye PhotoBooth which were all of the things I needed! They also provided uplighting in the color I wanted and created a custom monogram to shine onto a wall! I would say I dealt with Amanda the most and she was super helpful. She helped me with things she probably didn’t need to, like my timeline. Applause and all the other companies I hired are professionals and you need to trust their insight!! Applause helped me with a special request as well! I wanted a fun dance with my dad and they helped me put my song together well in advance so we had time to practice 😉 I had an ooops moment. I originally had my ceremony starting at 4 but moved it up to 2 and told everyone except the string trio I was going to have play for the ceremony 😣. It was okay though! Amanda was quick to action and was able to play all the songs I wanted for the ceremony! Thank goodness for Applause!! Applause, my venue, and my photographers work together frequently so the rest of the night went seemlessly! The photobooth was such a hit! All is the guests had fun with it and it was fun to look at the photos the next day! I haven’t received my whole video yet but the sneak peak is to die for! 😍 I highly suggest Applause and the entire package! Definitely worth every penny!

Anyone looking for an amazing videography team, look no further. Applause Productions was amazing to work with! We had the videography and photobooth package without a DJ because we had a band. I don’t live in the St. Louis area so I wasn’t able to meet with Amanda and John before the wedding aside from a couple of phone calls, so I was afraid there could be some awkwardness with the unfamiliarity, but meeting with them the day of you wouldn’t have guessed it. They worked seamlessly with our videographer and went above and beyond to get the best shots for us. We got our sneak peek the following Monday and I was so amazed by it that I couldn’t wait to see the finished product! And it did not disappoint. I can’t wait to watch and show these videos to friends and family for years to come!! Also, what better way to spend the day after your wedding than opening cards and watching a slideshow of the goofy photos of all your guests!

AMAZING!!! That’s the best word for Applause Productions. We had video, dj, photobooth, and the lights/monogram. It was everything we could have ever wanted and more. Amanda and John were incredible every step of the way! We wanted our day to be super organized and filled with lots of amazing moments. Amanda met with us several times before the wedding to plan every little detail. John made a wonderful monogram, a fantastic playlist, and prepared some amazing shots for our video. The whole day was absolutely perfect, and John and Amanda helped us to stay laughing and having fun during some small hiccups that day! The whole Applause team is amazing. And THE VIDEO! Wow!! It is incredible! Our day was truly made into a Movie and it’s the best movie ever! :-D I can’t thank Applause enough! They helped make our wedding absolutely perfect. We love you Applause!

When we first booked Applause - we felt like things were too good to be true (getting DJ, videography, photo booth, & uplighting for the price that we did) - BUT IT WAS TRUE!!! APPLAUSE IS ABSOLUTELY THAT AMAZING!! They truly care about you as couple and you feel this in everything they do! They are true professionals that made our wedding run so smoothly! My grandma broke her hip a week before the wedding and could not attend. Applause sent our beautiful sneak peek video, edited ceremony footage (with the clearest audio), and our speeches and first dance within days! It has been the most priceless gift to have these videos and so quickly after the wedding. As a DJ, John absolutely crushed it!! The dance floor was always jam-packed with people partying so hard, it was difficult to find a moment to step away from the dance floor because he played hit after hit after hit. We got amazing feedback from our guests about the music, the photobooth, and the videos! We are so pleased and grateful that we went went with Applause. We could not recommend them more highly!

I absolutely LOVED using applause!! John and Amanda were so great!! We had Garrett as our DJ and he was so great!! Everyone was dancing the whole night! They listened to everything I asked for and it was perfect!! We saw our sneak peek film already and its fantastic. I can't wait to the rest! I highly highly recommend them! I would recommend Applause to every bride in STL!!! John was seriously the best, he really helped our wedding day flow and helped keep us on schedule. Amanda and John were there from the start of our wedding day to the end of the night. They had a foot in just about every aspect of our wedding and kept everything on track. Applause productions did an amazing job at our wedding!!! We had them do videography, dj, and the monogram. Every service was so awesome and they were so easy to communicate with and so fun! The service from applause productions was top notch from reaching out for pricing to letting us know the status of our video. We initially hired them for just photobooth and DJ but they worked with us on pricing and due to our date not being a peak date we were able to add videography to our budget. Amanda was a pleasure to work with and worked with us on the custom monogram so it would match other elements of our reception and John was a joy to work with all day long and worked well with the photographer for coordinating so no ones "toes" were stepped on. Our guests greatly enjoyed the photobooth and DJ at our reception, and the process for providing song info was super easy. We were well informed of what was going on with our preview and video while we waited for them to be finished and greatly appreciated getting to see the preview prior to it being shared to social media. While we will love having our vows on video to watch whenever, we really loved getting to see the reception footage since it seemed like the reception flew by so fast so it was nice to see how much fun our guests had. I would not hesitate to recommend this vendor.

Wow...where do I start?! To begin with, Amanda is amazing--she is attentive and answers back to any and all questions lightening fast. If there is just ONE service that I could repeat at the next 3 weddings that I will have for my other children it would be the services from Applause!! The video is INCREDIBLE and we can't stop watching it! The photo booth was the highlight of the night and guests haven't stopped talking about how fun the dance was! There is NO way, I would ever host another wedding without Applause...thank you for giving our family such beautiful memories from a wonderful day.

Can't say enough great things about Applause! I was a little worried about not having many people on the dance floor since we were having a Sunday wedding, but John got everyone moving and kept them dancing until the end of the night! I received so many compliments about the reception music, but really it was their doing and not mine! Applause was very helpful and professional during the planning as well as during the wedding ceremony and reception. Will always be recommending Applause Productions in the future!!

It was a real pleasure working with the Applause Production team on our wedding! Their staff is professional, creative, and considerate of the bride and groom's big day. Our highlight video was amazing and will be treasured for many years to come. I highly recommend using their DJ services in addition to shooting video to ensure the reception runs smoothly and the videographers get all of the important shots. Our DJ introduced the bridal party, provided a wireless mic for the speeches, and kept us dancing all night!

My husband and I booked Applause Productions for our wedding on March 11, 2017 on a whim and WOW are we glad we did! Prior to booking with them, having a videographer was sadly at the bottom of our budget and I wasn't sure if we would be able to swing it. Most of the couples I knew who had recently gotten married skipped videography and all of them told me "I really wanted it, but honestly we probably would never watch the videos and it just wasn't in our budget". I was starting to agree with them just because of the pricing scales I had witnessed, but let me tell you all of those people were DEAD WRONG! If this is where you stop reading, let me assure you my husband and I have watched our FULL video nearly 6 times through and we have only been married a little under 2 months. We still hadn't booked a DJ when I came across Applause. I discovered them on my wedding venue's blog from another couple's wedding who had used them as well. I watched a couple of their videos and looked into their DJ services and instantly fell in love! I contacted them only to discover they were running a BOGO (Buy One Get One) deal at the time. If we purchased videography for $1500 our DJ would be free!! We had only exchanged one e-mail at the time, but I booked them instantly without even meeting them and I am SO SO SO happy that we did! A couple of days before our wedding Amanda called me to review any last minute details consisting of our daily timeline, specifics on our wedding party, songs to play and songs NOT to play, etc. On the day of our wedding Amanda and their crew met us at our venue around 11:00 AM and didn't leave our sides until the END of our reception at 11:00 PM! John was working a second wedding the same day as ours, however our DJ had been trained under John and was AWESOME! He kept everyone on their feet all night long and really played off the crowd when choosing what song to play next. We opted not to use their props just based on our own preferences, but you should know they do have props that they offer to provide. A day after our wedding they posted screen grabs from what they had recorded, a day or two after that they posted a Sneak Peek film, about two-weeks later they posted our 10 minute highlight film which includes everything from us getting ready, to parts of the ceremony, and parts of the reception. Our day was very jam packed and so John and Amanda requested to meet up with us following the wedding in order to record us reading our letters which they included in our highlight film. Amanda PERSONALLY dropped off the copies of our videos to ensure that we got them. We received 4 copies (2 DVD and 2 BluRay) of our Ceremony AND 4 copies (2 DVD and 2 BluRay) of our Reception + Highlight Film. I could go ON AND ON AND ON about how pleased we were with this company. I would book them over and over again and have referred ALL of my recently engaged friends to them. You honestly just can't go wrong if you choose Applause Productions!

Wow! Cannot go on enough with how happy we are with Applause Productions. We originally started out with the ceremony, DJ and videography services. At the last second we added the photo-booth, up lighting, and monogram. We are SO SO SO happy we did. The monogram was actually my favorite thing there! Our guest LOVED the fish eye photo-booth. It's 4x6 prints and you get endless prints for you and you guests. Then after your wedding the give you a link for access to all the photos in case you missed any. They have fun props and the pictures are awesome. It's not an actual booth, they take your photo. It really gave my guests something to do and got them to the dance floor! I had the guest print an extra copy and turned it into an advice book. Hilarious. John was AWESOME as a DJ. He had everyone out there all night long. We danced the night away! Amanda and John helped keep the night flowing wonderfully. They are so sweet and professional. I cannot wait to see my video! Look no further, this company does it all, and get it all! We used Applause for our ceremony sound, photo booth, and DJ! Let me tell you we danced from the first song until the last song. John was our DJ and this was by far the best wedding DJ ever (and i mean to any wedding I've ever been too). I know I'm a little biased, but seriously John controlled the night, made everyone dance (including my 95 year old grandma- she danced to Baby Got back- a priceless memory). Unlike some DJ's he made the bride and groom the center of attention the whole night, yet made the crowd go wild and excited for more! He kept the dance floor going, and the words that everyone said were this DJ is EPIC! If you have any doubts put them to rest, this is hands down the best DJ in the area and if you can book them do it NOW! They respond quickly and you don't have to worry about a thing. We used Applause for the video only. They were outstanding. They got to my hotel at 9am and didn't leave the reception until 9pm! They had a sneak peak out within a week (so impressed). My husband and I had some confusion with our letters to each other and I didn't end up getting my letter from him until after the wedding... John and Amanda met us on a Saturday to read the letters so they could be in our video. I can't say enough good things about these people personally and especially the work they produce. Our 10 min highlight clip is beyond anything we could have hoped for.

APPLAUSE PRODUCTIONS IS BY FAR THE BEST THEIR IS!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! For starters, they made our wedding day so fun! Our wedding highlight video is just absolutely beautiful and captured every single important moment of our very special day! Not only do you get a highlight video but a highlight video of the entire day also! I have watched them all probably 28 times SO FAR! It is so wonderful to watch and replay the whole day ! We plan on watching the highlight video on our anniversary every year! Their turn-around time was soooo fast! We didnt have to wait months to get our videos also which was sooo awesome! We also had them for our DJ at our reception and they kept the dance floor crowded and played all the songs I had requested before-hand to dance to ! THEY ARE INCREDIBLE and I am already telling my friends they HAVE TO use them !! Besides marrying my husband (haha) this was one of the best decisions I EVER made!!

Applause Productions was wonderful! From the time we contacted them to the wedding day they were great to work with! They gave me recommendations for other vendors that would be needed for our wedding. They provided ceremony sound, photo story, DJ, video and photo booth services for our special day! John and his team were very friendly. He did an amazing job all night long and kept the crowd entertained until the end. All the photos from the photo booth were on Facebook the next day! It was great seeing all those photos so soon! All our guests enjoyed the photo booth and had a blast using all the props! A couple weeks later he gave us some special pictures from the highlight video. I would recommend them to anyone who needs one or all of these services for ANY special occasion.

I was super impressed with everything. Leading up to the wedding, they called and was super details about making sure they did everything according to how we wanted it. The day of they went above and beyond moving my dress to a room with better lighting, filling our glasses before the speeches began, and making sure to film our flower girls even as they ran away. I did not have to think twice about the music or the videographer because they had everything covered. What more could you ask for on a big day like that?

We used them for the DJ and videographer. John was great. He catered to all of our requests for the DJ and played the songs we wanted and avoided the songs we didnt want played. He was very friendly and professional and easy to work with. We had a lot of requests and he fulfilled all of them. The videographer was also very friendly and out of the way, which was nice. Cant wait to see the video!

I can't begin to say enough great things about Applause! Amanda and John did an amazing job making our reception the best party ever!!John even put together a specialized mix for my father daughter dance with no additional fees. Great Prices As Well!!!

John was a wonderful DJ and videographer! Our guests had so much fun with his music selection and entertaining props. He kept the dance floor full all night! Our video is breathtaking! He captured every detail of our day with hours of footage! He turned the video around to us so quickly too. We are so happy we went with Applause. Thank you John and Amanda for giving us memories that will last a lifetime!
