She was always helpful and very accommodating to all our special requests and needs, and extremely responsive. Sean was our Maitre D on our wedding day and it could not have been smoother and more lovely. They took care of every detail for us, including walking me (the bride) to the chapel timed out after my wedding party, fluffing my dress before my entrance, bringing us water and snacks while we were taking our portraits on a hot sunny day, and taking care of us the entire day. Sean checked on us during dinner, making sure we had drinks and food. He also checked in with us about the timing of everything (for example, we extended cocktail hour by 10 minutes - a detail that seems small, but we really appreciated having 10 minutes to snack after taking all our photos and before our first dance). Our food was unbelievable! Everyone was floored by how much food there was during cocktail hour and how delicious it was. During dinner service, the staff went around with extra food for people to have additional portions. We got married in the chapel and had our cocktail hour and reception in Kay's Pier South. The grounds at the Aqua Turf are absolutely stunning and the ballroom is so elegant. We could not have picked a more beautiful place. We can't imagine having gotten married anywhere else - the Aqua Turf really made our dream wedding a reality. The scenery is beautiful and the service is wonderful. We would absolutely recommend this venue to any couple!

Our Maitre’d Ryan and head server were the BEST, they made sure we took time to eat, brought food and drinks to the bridal suite when we were taking pictures and made sure the whole night went smoothly. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong. Every single person we talked to raved about how perfectly the filet was cooked. A top notch place with beautiful grounds for pictures - I will recommend the Aqua Turf to everyone. I truly wish we could re-do our wedding again because it was that great!

We changed the date, the room, and at the VERY last minute the package and no one at Aqua Turf Club batted an eye with any request we had. The room was BEAUTIFUL, food was DELICIOUS and the staff was PHENOMENAL. Can't say enough great things about this venue. Beyond thrilled we used them for our ceremony and reception.

They made it clear that they were extremely flexible in terms of postponing or cancelling our event at any time, and even reserved us a second room that was available in case we ended up needing more space. We did end up postponing from August 2020 to May 2021 and they even honored our original pricing. They worked with us on everything and calmed me down every time I had a concern about table sizes, room minimums, timing, etc. On our wedding day, everything was beautiful and seamless. The food and service was fantastic and the Viennese table can’t be beat! None of the staff was anything less than professional and accommodating even though they have been going through a hard hit just like everyone else. Extra special thanks to Lauren for giving us the tour and helping us book, Bobby and Karen for being so responsive even when they were closed down over the winter, and Larry for managing our event and making sure everything moved along on time. The Aqua Turf is full of true professionals that know exactly what they are doing and truly care about their clients and guests, and we are so fortunate to have had our reception there!

as not an easy decision because we did love the venue but If any future bride is interested in having their wedding at the Aqua Turf on August 29, 2020. Feel free to book the date ASAP. Btw the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because we didn’t get to have the wedding there to know the full experience.

The service was amazing, Andrew made sure everything was running smoothly and couldn't be more attentive to myself and husband entire day! Everbody was so accommodating from the minute the limo pulled in all the way to the last dance! All our guests were saying how beautiful the place was and the food....oh wow, the food was absolutely delicious! We did the buffet option and there was plenty of food and was constantly refreshed! Overall, I highly, highly recommend the Aqua Turf for your wedding, you won't be disappointed! Thanks Aqua Turf for one of the best days ever! =)

Before our first dance we forgot to say who would grab the bride's flowers, but he was there in perfect step. The Aqua Turf is beautiful and the grounds are pristine. Every single wedding and reception detail you could think of is never overlooked. We cannot say enough things that truly represent how much of a great job they did. We highly recommend you consider them for your wedding!

I do have to be honest with a few cons though: 1. They do not help with the rehearsal if you are getting married on site. 2. They check people in by name which takes so long. I had seating chart cards and they had guests find their names and also check in with their list. Not needed and took guest awhile to get in to the room. 3. Our Maitre D was awful. He got us 2 drinks all night and we didn't even have any of our appetizers. Every wedding I have ever been in the Maître D always gets a plate of apps and leaves it at the sweetheart table for the bride and groom since they are so busy with pictures and greeting guests during cocktail hour. All the money we spent it would have been nice to have more attentive service throughout the night. 4. Dinner took a long time to get through, this was a combination of slow service as well as the amount of guest we had so I can't put all the blame on them. But back to the positive! it was a wonderful night overall and I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone just be wary of the above and talk to the staff about it ahead of time.

The food was absolutely delicious and everyone couldn't believe the size of the prime rib! We held our ceremony onsite in the Chapel as well and while it rained, our waiter held the back of my dress and an umbrella over me so I wouldn't get soaked waiting to walk down the aisle. They made us feel comfortable and informed us about every step of the ceremony process, our grand entrance and even how to cut the cake so both of our rings would show in the photos. One of the other great aspects is that the support staff sets up all of your decor. A couple days before your big day, you drop everything off to your event coordinator and walk through any special items that may need explanation and then they magically put all of your wedding decorations out without you having to worry about a thing. They even created a way to hang my photobooth backdrop with no direction from us at all and it was perfect. Anyone that's getting married in Connecticut should definitely check this place out. The venue is beautiful and even though they hold multiple events on site each day, we had no idea that a 600 person wedding was happening next door (we found out afterwards!).

Very clean very open the opportunities are endless. The grounds are breathtaking. AND the food... I have NEVER been to a wedding and or place where they ask you if you want seconds of filet?!!! That is the type of service you receive. Food was excellent. My family and friends loved everything and cannot stop talking about it! They also packed up whatever food we didn't have time to eat. They sent us home with tons of leftover cookies, pastries, chocolate dipped fruit. It was all amazing and my husband and I were so happy we got to enjoy it after the wedding. It's true what they say-you are so busy that day that you barely have time to eat anything. Make sure to ask them to wrap up food for you so you can enjoy the next day! Also the grounds at Aqua Turf are absolutely beautiful. This was another reason why we chose this venue. to get married in the gardens, and when we arrived there was 3 inches of water on the ground. They pumped, pushbroomed, and leaf-blew the water out until it was all set, then ran everything into the chapel and set it up in 10 minutes when it poured AGAIN as we were about to get started. Everyone there was very knowledgable, and made excellent suggestions to make the day go even better than we envisioned. They were absolutely fantastic the whole night- our guests had a wonderful time and we could not have asked for a better experience!!

The venue and their staff answered any and all questions fully and in a timely manner. They were able to work with every nuance we wanted on our special day, including cigar bars, memory tables, specialty beers for the bar, etc. There wasn't anything that we asked about that we heard the word no to. The day of the wedding was flawless from the food, to the reception room, the chapel, the desserts, the service, and so much more. Our maitre d was on top of every detail and so attentive to my fiancé and I, making sure we sat down to eat, getting us drinks throughout the night, coordinating our guests and every aspect of our day. At the end of the night, the lights came on and I immediately started stressing about all the things I would need to pack up and get home to turn around and find everything boxed up and waiting for us; the cake was in a box for us, our entire bridal suite was cleaned up, candles and frames were put together, everything was ready to go. Our wedding was everything we could have asked for and more, and most of that is due to the Aqua Turf and their staff putting everything together flawlessly. I would recommend the Aqua Turf to my closest friends and family again and again!

Alyssa worked with us to create our perfect wedding and she was a pleasure to work with, we can't thank her enough. During the wedding, we had 3 helpers and they were absolutely a blessing. They walked us through the day and made sure that my husband and I were comfortable, hydrated, and not hungry throughout the whole day. One helper even brought me my flip flops when my heels were hurting my feet. They did not rush us through anything, they even held up the ceremony so that I could use the bathroom before. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did, our wedding day was an absolute dream. Highly recommend this venue! (we were married in the chapel in the pines and our reception was in the wagon room).

They know that the venue makes or breaks a wedding and they excel in professionalism. Next, the employees are top notch. Our Maitre d', Larry, was simply outstanding. He had everything in check and knew exactly how to run every facet in the room. Our bar tenders did an amazing job serving the cold drinks and the rest of staff were extremely professional. There is not much else to say about a place like this but their reputation definitely follows them throughout the decades!

The staff was extremely attentive and detailed, catering to our every need. The dance floor was large and filled with guests. The grounds were gorgeous, our outdoor wedding ceremony was beautiful and fit our guests nicely, and it was nice to know we had the chapel as a backup in case it rained. Aqua Turf really knows what they're doing, they will take care of your every need and make sure your wedding is everything you dreamed it would be and more!

Amazing night, our guests are still giving us compliments on the evening. The grounds are beautiful- we took our wedding pictures right on the grounds and did not find it necessary to find a "destination spot" for pictures because of this. Definitely recommend for a wedding reception.

Our guests all commented on how beautiful the grounds and the facility were. Not only was Aqua Turf beautiful, but the food tastes amazing as well. he ladies who helped me plan the whole wedding (Alyssa and Karen) were amazing. They did everything they could to make our wedding so magical and perfect. We had the most amazing time, better than we could have ever imagined. We have heard nothing but rave reviews about the venue and the food and the way things were run. Dawn (our Maitre D for the evening) was phenomenal and made our day so easy for us. We even got to eat some of the food she so thoughtfully got us from the buffet during the reception so that was very nice and we really enjoyed the leftovers she sent home for us that we ate at 3 in the morning in out hotel room! She also helped us wrangle all the stragglers onto our final bus. We loved her! The Venetian table and chocolate shot glasses were as big a hit as I had hoped for... people loved it! Overall we only have wonderful things to say and only wish we could attend a wedding there so we can actually take it all in and eat all the appetizers and actually get to the bar haha We will likely be back to the aqua turf for a company holiday party in January and again for a graduation next May and we are looking forward to it!

I felt like I was working with a friend to plan my wedding. Every time I would call, Alyssa would answer the phone, and I would start explaining who I was, figuring she had a million brides. She would always say, " Kristin, I remember you!" Any questions I had, however random or silly, I would just shoot over a quick email or call, and I would always feel a million times better after speaking with Alyssa. The Aqua Turf is very accommodating for special requests. My parents are on the particular side, and they were very pleased every step of the way. I never felt like it was a "wedding factory" as many people might say. The fact that they do so many weddings was a positive in my eyes. You feel like you're working one-on-one with your coordinator, but you are very confident that they will deliver a flawless wedding night because you know they have this successful facility! My Maitre D, Dawn, was wonderful, very detail-oriented. All of my guests keep telling me still how beautiful the room was (Kays Pier South) and how perfect the bar was, the food, literally everything was perfect. Overall, a wonderful venue. I would definitely suggest stopping by and taking a look if you haven't picked your wedding venue yet!
