Area Rental & Sales Co

Do NOT use Area Rental & Sales Co! I set up chair rentals for my wedding three months ago and was told the price would be $1.25/chair for 100 chairs plus tax. I mentioned to Deanne that I was told to use them from my wedding planner because they waive the fee for delivery. She put me on hold and got that approved by Mike. Well, our wedding came and went. The chairs were set up and used for a total of 10 minutes. Area Rental came a few days later to pick up their 100 chairs. I noticed a charge of $163.35 on 10/12/16 after my original security hold of $50 was already taken. This put my total at $213.35, when it should have been $125 plus tax! I called to tell them they made a mistake and overcharged me for my rental. I first spoke with Diane and explained the situation. She put me on hold and abruptly Deanne got on the phone, so I had to reexplain the situation again. After I told her it was approved by Mike she told me she would put me on hold. After a minute Mike picked up the phone. I explained the situation AGAIN! I said I was never told there was an additional fee of $84 for delivery and that only my set up was free. He snapped back "well, there's an $84 delivery fee!" I said it never explained to me, I never said that I would pay that because I was told it was waived, and he did not have my authorization to charge my credit card! He told me to talk to my wedding planner, yet she has nothing to do with how HIS company NEVER explained charges and still felt they could charge my credit card for those charges! The customer service at Area Rental is HORRIBLE! I was lied to and they did not care to come to an agreement about those extra charges! I will NEVER use this company again and I truly hope you don't either!
