We spent our Wedding Night at the Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria. It is a beautiful hotel. We did not interact with the staff much, but we loved our room. My husband's best man and my bridesmaids had been allowed into our room to decorate it for us and leave us goodies. We were so spoiled. The day prior, all of my girls were at the Arrowwood Resort for a spa day. We LOVED it. The Darling Reflections Spa is AMAZING! They have the absolute best staff and a huge array of services. We will be returning for our one year anniversary. :)

Everything about the planning went smoothly, but when it came to the day of it got a little rocky-- our music wasn't playing (broken speakers), the champagne pour was missing and had to be hurriedly brought out, no PA system, and the band that was supposed to play until midnight only went until 9. We were barely done with dinner by then! To be fair, they tried to fix the speakers, and no one noticed the champagne being awkwardly brought out during the cake cutting. Emma, the planner, was awesome to work with and the rest of the staff was good too-- with the exception of the front desk lady who lost our darn bridal suite reservation!! Overall, good value and I'm glad I used them.

Arrowwood was fantastic to work with for our wedding! They were very helpful in guiding us in our decisions as well as giving us creative freedom to do what we wanted. The staff was always there to help in order to take the pressure off of me and my husband, which allowed us to truly enjoy our day. The outdoor venue was fantastic, the reception room was welcoming, and the food was to die for. Although things may get a little pricey,they have plenty of options and can help you find ways to make it affordable. I would choose Arrowwood again in a heartbeat!

My wedding rehersal, ceremony, and reception were are on site at Arrowwood. The people there were so helpful that it made my wedding stress free and was perfect. Everything turned out beautiful! The decorating, rooms, and staff help was truly amazing! I would recommend it to any couple!

I have vacationed in Alex for years and my husband and I really wanted to have an outdoor lakeside wedding. Everything was perfect and the whole Arrowwood team did an amazing job turning the outside and inside into a dream! Heather and Shari the conference manager were great to work with. They were very prompt at getting back to me during the course of planning and were accommdating to all of our needs. We had a few minor issues along the way such as guests being told they needed to book for 2 night minium when there was none, but the staff did a great job of going back and calling everyone to make sure they didn't book for 2 nights when they didn't want to. If you want a fantastic out of town lakeside wedding this is the place!

I knew before we were even engaged that our reception would be held at Arrowwood! We scheduled our wedding around its' availablity and we couldn't have been happier with it! Shari was so wonderful to work with and It looked absolutely amazing, the food was incredible and they were very accomodating to our guests on our wedding day. I would definitely recommend this venue to every bride!

We were really happy with the way our wedding turned out at Arrowwood. The staff (Denise and Shari) are very friendly and accommodating. They have a beautiful outdoor ceremony location with the lake as the backdrop, and the resort has a lot of activites for people of all ages so your guests can make a fun vacation out of it. Alexandria has the "small town" feel but is 2+ hours away from the nearest commercial airport.

My Matrons of Honor had my bachelorette party at Arrowwood in one of the townhomes they rent out. It was the best idea I've ever had. The room was super clean and perfect for our group of 8 to stay overnight. The waterpark was out of this world and a perfect way to spend a Sunday morning before checking out. I would suggest this resort to anyone who wanted to stay there for whatever reason. The services are extensive and the grounds are beautiful
