Doug and CheyAnne Keese, the magical duo behind Arte De Vie, are both incredibly talented photographers and I cannot imagine how our wedding would have been without them! They shot our Engagement Pictures, Bridal Pictures, Rehearsal Dinner and our Wedding. The memories they captured for us will forever be so special to us. Doug and CheyAnne both know how to make others feel at ease and comfortable and know what works and what doesn't. They both are honest and will let you know if something needs to be taken another way and will not stop until they get the perfect shot. The pictures from every single event came out so beautiful and I'm so thankful that they were apart of this experience with us. I've had the pleasure of knowing them for about 10 years and it's really a special thing for them to be part of such a big moment in our lives now. Doug and CheyAnne were such a joy to work with. Aside from them being incredibly talented and passionate photographers, they’re just wonderful, warm, lovely people. They were always quick to answer any questions we had, and told me to think of them as our interim wedding planners, as we hadn’t yet hired one. I love the fact that because they have backgrounds in photojournalism, it’s important to them that their photographs tell a story. That’s exactly what we wanted: to be able to look back through our albums and remember the feelings, the sounds, the tastes, the emotions, the excitement of our wedding day. And we were able to do just that when we got our photos back just a month or so later! I utilized theknot.com to look for vendors. But the one that mattered most to me was our photographer. And not just their level of talent mattered, but who they were meant something to me as well. Because think about it, these people are sharing the most private, intimate moments of your life. The moments your guests may not see. And to say that Doug and CheyAnne were the most amazing people to have beside us for these moements and for all of our day feels like such an understatement. Their passion for what they do is matched by what incredible human beings they are. We see them as friends now, not just the people who took our wedding photos. And even better then that, we have photos that I absolutely cherish. We are so impressed with our albums, our fine art prints, and we DIE for the film images. Doug's old camera captured our favorite looks. It was the BEST decision I made for our wedding, and now we have beautiful images forever, and new friendships to boot.

I cannot recommend Doug and CheyAnne more highly! They are such wonderful photographers and people! They captured so many social moments that made our wedding night so memorable. We've been married for six months, and I still find myself looking through our wedding photos. Just looking through the pictures takes me back to that night. My best wedding decision (besides my amazing groom, haha) was choosing Arte de Vie as our photographers. From the beginning I knew that choosing our wedding photographers was going to be the most important decision we make, since they will be the ones preserving our wedding memories for the rest of our lives. Therefore, in true "bridezilla" fashion, I booked interviews with several photographers in the New Orleans area. The interviews were important because I knew my fiance and I were going to spend a lot of time with them for our engagement photos, first look, and throughout the ceremony and reception. After the first five minutes of our interview with CheyAnne and Doug we knew they were the ones (sounds cheesy, but SO true!). We loved the idea of having both of them as our photographers because they both have different, amazing backgrounds and expertise as photographers, and since they are married, they know each other's photographic style and therefore can capture different viewpoints. Their photographic style is unique and was exactly what we were looking for - candid, romantic, and elegant. They have a passion for what they do, and that shows in their work. They are also very quick at delivering the photos. We received our photos THREE weeks after our wedding - which is unheard of (we didn't get married during prime wedding season)! We also ordered our wedding album through them, and the process was so carefree and easy. When we first booked them, I ordered a specific type of album, but when it was time to create the album I changed my mind and asked for a different type of album. CheyAnne was wonderful and completely understood...it's as if other brides are also indecisive, haha! CheyAnne laid out an amazing album for us, and sent us an e-proof to review and edit (although not many edits were necessary). The whole process was easy and exciting. The album was ready in a few weeks and is absolute perfection with a lifetime guarantee - you can't ask for anything better! CheyAnne and Doug were the best photographers we could have asked for. Super down to earth, amazing couple, with true talent. Photography for them is their career rather than a hobby that turned into a job. I would 100% recommend them to any bride who is searching for photographers to perfectly capture their celebrations and love. We didn't even find it necessary to have a videographer because they captured everything we needed to remember our day perfectly. They know just about every venue in town, and all wedding planners, venues, and Churches love them. It will be the best wedding decision you make (again, besides choosing your groom, haha!)

The minute we met Doug and CheyAnne, we fell in love with them. They have an ease about them and truly love what they do, which makes working with them such a joy and pleasure. Jeremy and I both said it's like hanging out with old friends, nothing but good stuff and positive vibes when you are around them. I can't rave enough about CheyAnne and Doug! They were involved with my entire wedding process sending me vendor recommendations and answering questions on how to organize the wedding day. They are so knowledgeable about the wedding industry in New Orleans, and I really couldn't have planned my wedding day without them! Best of all, they are wonderful photographers. Wedding guests gushed over how professional and courteous they were. They are masters of capturing special moments, and truly exceeded my expectations from start to finish. On my wedding day, the only thing more important to me than marrying the man I love, is to capture every single priceless moment...and to keep those memories forever. Photography was the first thing I figured out after choosing a date and a venue. After meeting CheyAnne and Doug, there was never a question that I would choose anyone else. Although they have not even photographed our wedding day yet, they did take our engagement photos. I have to say that I could not have made a better decision. First of all, our session almost got ruined by pouring rain! I was pretty bummed since we flew in from out of town for the weekend. However, when most photographers would have cancelled the pictures due to weather, they were willing to work in and around mother nature regardless. Luckily, the weather let up and we got some amazing pictures in the FQ. CheyAnne and Doug are so calm and fun about taking pictures and capturing those moments. And they took time to find the most perfect spots for us in the FQ. I also love the fact that they are married and work together, because they have that special connection with one another that makes the pictures flow seamlessly. When I got our pictures back a week or so later, I could not stop looking at them...they are INCREDIBLY beautiful. So, I could type forever about these two amazing people...but I will just have to save more for after my wedding day (well, that, and this box has a character limit :) ). Lastly, I would like to say that, after taking our pictures, CheyAnne made us THE MOST INCREDIBLE save the dates. She was so patient, kind, listened to exactly what I was looking for, and helped me create a one of a kind save the date. I'm obsessed. I could not have asked for a better duo of people to work with - and I can't wait for our wedding day :)

I cannot imagine a better wedding photographer than Arte de Vie -- our photos are beautiful and Doug & CheyAnne are great to work with. I truly can't say enough about Arte De Vie! One of the best decisions that we made in planning for the wedding! My now husband and I are in our 30s and have seen everything wedding! We wanted a day to celebrate our marriage with our closest friends and family, and wanted someone capture this special moment and blend into the party! CheyAnne & Doug did just that. There presence is so calm and relaxing, they had great insight into wedding day ticks and made everyone around them feel extremely comfortable, which yield the best pictures. They captured the emotion and sentiment of the day, and doing so with out stepping on the toes of our guests. In the planning process, both my husband & parents encouraged me to shop around and try to find a cheeper plan. I entertained the idea, but just by looking at their portfolio and knowing someone that used them, I know Arte De Vie were worth every penny. Of course now my husband and parents says they are sorry for every putting up a fight about it because the pictures are priceless, and truly works of art. Now almost 3 months after the wedding, all of our best memories play out in front of us every time we look though the images they captured. Where to start... I was briefly engaged in 2012, while researching photographers, I fell in the love with their beautiful work. I was lucky enough to find love a year later and the first thing I knew, I KNOW WHO I WANT TO PHOTOGRAPH OUR DAY!! Doug and Cheyenne were more than perfect to work with and so worth every penny. Their style is magazine worthy. You shouldn't have to be stuck with typical blah wedding pictures. They can offer you so much more. I recommend you going through tons of their work so you can find your style and they will capture it. I loved the more editorial/ in the moment vibe myself and they nailed it. As far as my personal experience, there aren't enough words to express my gratitude for our pictures. They are stunning. They got us exactly how I hoped, but better. I was also surprised by how comfortable we felt with them. It was effortless. They felt like guest, not photographers. Don't screw up, choose Arte de Vie!! Your day will fly, but your pictures allow you to relieve an unforgettable and irreplaceable day. Why not have them be beautiful?

LOVE these guys! Titus worked with the groom and groomsmen on the day of and had rave reviews from all the guys saying he was fun and didnt make it all so serious! Doug worked with me and the bridesmaids. He was great about getting details of us prepping while not being intrusive. Both him and Titus are great instructing on how to stand for making the pictures their best! Arte de Vie is very organized and emails you leading up to the event and makes sure everything is settled before the big day!

Doug and Titus photographed our wedding weekend and brought fun and excitement to the picture-taking process, in addition to the fabulous documentation of our festivities! They delivered our pictures in a timely and proficient manner, and they captured the beauty of the ceremony and celebration of the reception perfectly. We HIGHLY recommend Arte de Vie!

Where do I begin!? I CANNOT say enough about these amazing people. Doug and Titus photographed our wedding day. Throughout the entire planning process, Doug was very responsive and amazingly helpful with any question I had no matter how small. They provided info in a timely and complete manner (even sent a bride/groom packing list that was so helpful!). They sent us a great document before the wedding too about the timeline and a lot of other helpful info. They showed up early on the wedding day, and honestly if it weren't for them the day wouldn't have been complete. Both photographers were dressed in suits, very professional, extremely caring, attuned to every detail, organized, and unbelievably talented. They went to all lengths to get the perfect shots and directed us the entire way. Titus even dried off my bouquet with his pants so my dress wouldn't get wet. We felt so comfortable with them, like they cared for us as friends. They made us laugh a lot too! Doug rode with me in the limo so I wasn't by myself bc I was nervous. One of them was with me the whole time before the ceremony just to keep me calm and make me laugh. They were unobtrusive but there in an instant for the perfect shot. They were so phenomenal that our guests are even still talking about them. We are so, so grateful to ADV for the perfect service that they provided. When we think of our wedding day, they are definitely a part that we will remember with a smile. I can't say enough about how grateful we are! They are more than photographers bc they truly care about their work which is very clear. Their quality of work is amazing. Worth every penny and more! The only regret we have is not meeting them sooner! We hope to keep in touch. They are great people!

Doug was so awesome. He helped me through the wedding from the beginning to end. My experience with him on the wedding day was exceptional. All my guest bragged about him on the wedding day. LOVE is not a strong enough word to convey how I feel about Arte de Vie photography! Doug and CheyAnne's talent is beyond words – the DYNAMIC DUO! Our photographic memories couldn’t be better – I know that in years to come when we view these photos we will be taken to these very moments in time. I have to start off by saying that I literally could not recommend Arte de Vie more. From the first time I talked to CheyAnne on the phone, I knew she would be the perfect addition to our wedding. When we met her for our engagement pictures, she was bubbly, fun, and most importantly, she honestly understood who we are as a couple. I was so excited when she showed up as I was getting ready before the wedding. She arrived hours before the wedding to shoot details/getting ready pictures, our first look, and formal family pictures. She stayed until the very bitter end of the reception. I do not know how she did it, but CheyAnne and Vanessa (the second shooter at the wedding) seemed to have been EVERYWHERE at our wedding/reception-even months after the wedding, not once have I wished a photo been snapped that was not. Our wedding photos are absolutely breath taking. At the beginning, I told CheyAnne I was going for three things-elegant, classy, and fun-and our pictures truly represent all three. We received more than enough photos after the wedding (almost 1,000) to use in our album and around our home! If I had to do it all over again, I would absolutely use Art de Vie again. We are both beyond thrilled with all of our photos. CheyAnne truly is more than our photographer, she has really become a friend as well. I could not say enough kind and positive things about the company! They deserve much more than 5 stars!!

Picking a photographer was really difficult for me because I didn't want just someone who owned a fancy camera and went to a lot of weddings to be documenting this special day. Once I found Arte de Vie and talked to Doug though I was sold. He is so down to earth and really takes the time to get to know the bride and grooms story and personalities. He wants to know exactly what you want out of the day and out of the pictures and he definitely delivers! Doug is not only super friendly and a wonderful photographer, but a super hard worker! It was rainy the whole weekend of our wedding and so Doug got to the hotel an hour early to figure out the best places to take pictures for the back plan!! When it stopped raining and we could still work with our original plan he just stayed and took pics while we got ready! Doug is great about finding out what pictures you want ahead of time, so in the heat of the moment you don't forget a picture with your grandma or a sentimental snapshot of a family heirloom, etc. Then at the wedding Doug or his assistant is literally with you or the groom at all times. They did not miss a beat at the wedding! I feel like I relive it everytime i go through the pictures!! By the end of the night too Doug had become friends with some of the guests because he is just so friendly and puts everyone at ease! Turnaround time for the pictures was amazing! He sent us a little teaser of pics in less than a week - unbelievable! and we had all the pictures available to us, ready to purchase, within 3 weeks! Now how the pictures came out is the best part of all! We did a first look (and my hubby and i are not usually mushy take pictures type of people) and somehow Doug had made us feel so at ease and made the pictures come out beautifully. We were so happy we did the first look ! the ceremony and reception pictures are equally as beautiful and fun! he captured i feel like every moment of that wedding and reception and the photo quality is great! My husband and I (as well as our families) are so excited and happy about how Doug was able to capture all those memories! You will not be disappointed with Arte de Vie and Doug!

The Arte De Vie team made not only our wedding day special, but the entire time leading up to our day. Doug sent us countdown e-mails along with offered wedding advice. He made taking pictures fun! When I told him I wanted to dance he made sure I made it to the dance floor. The entire Arte De Vie team does a wonderful job. My pictures are beyond amazing.

Wow, where do I even begin. It was so over whelming in the beginning of wedding planning, and choosing a photographer was definitely top on that list. Ran across Arte de vie at a bridal show and was intrigued. Both CheyAnne and Doug were sooo friendly. So they stood out. When my mom and I went to meet with CheyAnne she was so friendly, professional and exactly what we needed. She eased our minds with everything! For the Engagement shoot we were a little nervous and she made us feel so relaxed, she did every shot we asked for but she directed us with what she knew would look amazing. I had to let go and trust her and boy I'm glad I did! We loved them all. Bridal shoot was so fun too, my sister and mom were there so that was really nice. As for our wedding she was sooo awesome. She was there for every special moment, captured them all! She was accommodating to my mom and my husbands mom. It was so nice to not have to run around to find her it was like she was just everywhere! We just looked at all of our pictures and I am SO glad I followed my gut with Arte De Vie. They have a very special gift that isn't easy to come by! They love what they do and you can tell they love making us happy. They are so sweet and I would recommend them to anyone 100x. You would be lucky to book them!!

CheyAnne was everything and more of what we were looking for in our wedding photographer! She was so wonderful to work with and made our wedding day and my bridal photo shoot such a great experience! All of our friends and family absolutely loved her and felt right at home with her and I feel like our wedding day ran so smoothly all because of her. We know she captured so many perfect memories and we can hardly wait to see the wedding photos! We miss her already!

Doug and Titus truly captured the LIFE in my wedding. Either Titus or Doug was at my side the whole night, making sure I was doing okay as well as capturing every moment I wanted captured. You can't beat service like that! I highly recommend the whole Arte De Vie team, from the engagements to the bridals and then finally the big day. They are wonderful people to have in your corner.

We worked with Doug from Arte de Vie for our wedding. We could not have been happier with him. We were planning a destination wedding and were unsure of many of the local vendors or how to best plan some of the customs. He provided great advice and really helped us to make every moment special. He really went above and beyond- he was so much more than a photographer. When the proverbial "everything that could go wrong" hit, he was there for us and really helped us through some tight spots. His pictures were amazing and show such a great story. He really has an eye for great photos. The most common comment I got from friends in regards to his photos, were "wow!" and "stunning!" Working with him made me feel like a super model and the pictures look like they came straight out of a magazine. Doug's assistant, Titus, was great too. He really was able to make the bridal party more comfortable- he kept people laughing and looking natural in the pictures. They made such a great team!! I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. The photographer is the one person who is with you for your ENTIRE day. It needs to be someone you trust and someone you can count on. Doug really should be that person for you!

I have been in multiple weddings and through my experiences as a bridesmaid, I quickly realized that a photographer can make or break your wedding day. Think about it, that photographer is with your wedding party probably more than the bride is with her groom that day! You need someone who knows how you think, knows whats important to you, and just works their magic. What sets the vendors apart from each other is their service and the experience that they can provide to you during this exciting time in your life. Choosing Arte De Vie as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions that we made. CheyAnne was so attentive to us, not only on the wedding day but before and after too! The images she was able to capture were beyond what we imaged. And still now looking through them again, its as if we are right back re-living the wedding day! They did such a great job of making it a personal experience. We could tell that we were not just another wedding couple that they were photographing. They wanted to capture what they knew would be special to us and make sure we had unique pictures that represented us as a couple.

I just got married this November and seriously could not have been happier that we chose CheyAnne to photograph our wedding! Both my husband and myself are camera shy and not too good at posing, etc. We were both VERY nervous to take our engagement photos, but within 15 minutes CheyAnne had both of us completely relaxed and laughing, which made for some awesome pictures! For my bridal portraits I got so lucky to be able to work with both CheyAnne and Doug. Doug was her "personal assistant" for the day and always made sure my dress was perfect, my bangs weren't separated, and "the girls" weren't lopsided haha! They both pay so much attention to detail all the way down to how you are positioning your fingers! By the time the wedding came around, I considered myself a professional poser from everything they taught me along the way! CheyAnne was so much fun to be with on my wedding day, and sometimes I forgot she was there working because it felt like I was just spending time with a friend. But, I think my favorite part of choosing Arte de Vie was getting to go to Doug and CheyAnne's house with our closest family members and view all of our pictures for the first time on a HUGE projector. It was like re-living the day all over again. CheyAnne did such an amazing job and I am so happy with my decision to book her. Not only is she great at what she does, but she had so many great recommendations for other vendors that she had worked with in the past. She was like a photographer and wedding planner in one! I would definitely recommend using Arte de Vie to anyone looking for a fun, professional, hard working photographer! We love CheyAnne and Doug so much!

Arte De Vie's CheyAnne Keese (and her fantastic assistant who's name I forget!) did an amazing job in every respect. At our first meeting all my questions were answered with so much friendliness and patience at a time when I was so stressed about all the planning in front of me. Our engagement photo session was something I was pretty nervous about --for myself and my now-husband (we're not typically picture-takers and had no idea what to expect) but it was so much easier than we'd thought. CheyAnne (and her husband for a few shots at the beginning) were easy-going and somehow new what kind of people we are and what kind of photos we'd want. I think we were afraid (especially my husband) that we'd have to take cheesy photos but it was all about what we wanted! We came in sports jerseys and threw the ball around. We also brought along our dino costumes. I have faith, though, that even without these props CheyAnne would have been able to tell just by speaking to beforehand what we needed in a photographer and what we'd like in photos. Same goes for the wedding -- CheyAnne took charge in a calm, friendly, professional way. She patiently repeated her directions to me (my brain had gone out the car window on the way to the wedding -- I was excited and easily distracted... as you will be) and simultaneously made me laugh. Did I mention she takes great pictures? She is a wonderful photographer who got every shot I could have wanted, even though conditions weren't always great (very crowded dance floor). I would recommend Arte De Vie to anyone. ANYONE! Especially if you are at all trepidatious about having your picture taken all night (or at all).

To start off, I don't have enough words to describe what an absolute delight CheyAnne is to work with. She is quite possibly the sweetest and calmest person I know. It was very hot on our wedding day in New Orleans and she made our outdoor pictures as efficient and possible to make us comfortable. CheyAnne made sure she knew all of our key people by name and truly treated everyone with kindness. We had NO idea that she was literally catching EVERY moment of our wedding...which says a lot, she was not in our face constantly. Arte De Vie is a wonderful company to work with, with people who are truly compassionate about what they do. I am so glad we chose Art De Vie!!! When I got engaged all of my married friends told me how important it was to have a great photographer who will take wonderful pictures that you will always cherish AND that you need to LIKE your photographer because you will spend your entire wedding day with them. I met CheyAnne and I honestly did not even interview anyone else--she was so adorable and sweet and bubbly--I kind of wanted her to be my friend so I hired her (it didn't hurt that all her pictures were really beautiful and artsy too). CheyAnne and Vanessa did our wedding a month ago and I just got to see the pictures today. They were able to capture how much joy I was feeling and on top of that it looked just like a fairy tale! I have so many friends who hate their wedding pictures because they don't feel like they got sexy, artsy pictures like the ones all brides spend a year looking at one pinterest and Style Me Pretty. But we literally have hundreds of pictures where I feel like I look like I should be on a wedding blog. I am now trying to finish this review faster so I can look at my pictures again!!! I also did a bridal shoot and a boudoir shoot that both Doug and CheyAnne did. I pretty much feel like a model looking at both sets of those pictures. They made me feel so comfortable and they both have a great eye posing and lighting. I could not have asked for better pictures. And on top of that I had so much fun doing both the bridal shoot and the boudoir shoot--they are just fun to be around! Anyway, if you want to have really incredible photos that you will cherish for the rest of your life and that your children will look at and say "Man, Mom and Dad looked super hot, beautiful, happy and in love on their wedding day," AND you want a photographer who is really wonderful to hang out with on your wedding day: hire Arte de Vie!!!

It was very important to me to have great pictures of my big day, and in all of the NOLA bridal magazines, I was constantly drawn to the photos in ads for Arte De Vie. Doug shot my bridal portraits and our wedding, and we could not have been happier! Cheyenne was great at helping me to relax for bridals, and she had some great ideas too! The pictures capture the fun and energy of our reception, and the more intimate moments are perfect too! Doug was so easy to work with, I would recommend him in a heart beat.

Arte De Vie did a great job with the pictures. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. My sisters wedding went off beautifully in part because of the photographer that she chose. Arte De Vie took in to consideration the accommodations that the bride and groom needed because of their use of wheelchairs, not many people think of those things but Art De Vie did!! If you are getting married in New Orleans and need a photographer, call Arte De Vie!!!

I did not make a mistake at all when I chose Arte DeVie! They are the warmest people/photographers! Your wedding day may be filled with stressful moments before your walk to the aisle. CheyAnne was calm, happy, patient, organized, prompt and well-mannered. These traits come in handy in time for your family and group pictures with friends and relatives. It can be chaos if not handled well. This was where CheyAnne came through with excellence on our day. She no doubt has the talent, artistry, energy and passion on top of it! We absolutely love our wedding pictures as she has captured those lovely moments with ease. Looking at them always makes me teary-eyed. She could do formal, quirky, fun, artistic, you name it! She also did our engagement and bridal pictures that I thought were excellent! Do not hesitate to book! I highly recommend her team!

Doug and Titus recently shot our wedding in April and we couldn't have had a better experience! They were wonderfully polite, professional and talented! We asked them to take some posed photos but mostly to shoot the night as it happened and they did exactly that! I am so happy Arte de Vie was available for our wedding! They are so creative and professional! They did our engagement session first, and they came up with the most creative, unique shots on the spot while we were strolling around the Quarter! They really know how to make you feel at ease and feel more comfortable in that awkward situation of having to pose for photographs, too. When we met before the wedding, Doug and CheyAnne posed each other in the studio to figure out different angles to capture for the day of! They really had everything figured out! For our wedding day, they led us through the whole day. Doug really knows how best to run a wedding! and what needs to happen and when! He and Titus gave me multiple "pep talks" to help me focus on the big picture and to help calm my nerves when they could tell I was getting nervous. Titus was constantly making me laugh the whole night while taking photographs, too! Hopefully, it helped prevent the "I'm sick of smiling for pics, just get it over with" smile in the 'end of the night' photos! :) They were more than photographers! I really feel lucky to have stumbled upon them and could not have asked for better! They are the most creative, artistic, professional, and personable photographers out there! I will recommend them to all of my family and friends looking for the perfect photographs! and Jeff and I can't wait to have them take "family photos" in the future!

Doug and CheyAnne are just so friendly, and Titus, too. They are a pleasure to deal with on the phone It is so easy to feel like you're out with friends when they are shooting. At the wedding it was difficult to tell that they were there, but the pictures told the story. It is easy to smile when the people taking pictures are smiling back at you. laughing and joking. These guys are the best! Wish I could do it all over again with the same man as my husband, and these guys following us all over NOLA for the pix. Uhm, maybe we should do that. Just hire these guys to make us look good on our next trip to NOLA. Jazz Fest, maybe? Love them.

I cannot express how utterly amazing Cheyanne is! Every meeting with her was pleasant and fun. Her packages were well organized. Our Engagement session was rained out, but she made rescheduling easy. On the wedding day, she was on time, ready to go with her assistant, and took the most incredible pictures! She wasn't intrusive, she was easy to work with, she was so sweet with all the family and guests, she listened to what I wanted and planned ahead to have those shots lined up and taken. She made taking pictures fun and effortless and for the entire reception she worked seamlessly with the crowd and we never even knew she was there!! The photos are beautiful, narrative, unique, special.....my husband and I are both artists, and we have VERY critical eyes when it comes to images, and we're both in LOVE with the shots. The reveal slide-show after the wedding was also so much fun!

Doug, Chey Ann and Titus are AWESOME! I feel so lucky that they were available when I was planning my wedding. Doug was so much more than a photographer. He was more like my own wedding sidekick. In fact, he helped me find several of my vendors (DJ, cake, flowers). He was always fun while maintaining the utmost professionalism. He really took the time to get to know my husband and I, which I really appreciated. Despite knowing that he has several clients, Doug always made us feel like we were the only clients he had or that mattered which was great, because that's how you want to feel about your wedding. He was always available for questions I had throughout the planning process (photo and non-photo related). He was never intrusive, but he NEVER left my side at the wedding and captured ever memory I wanted. I just got my pictures back and I could not be happier! Words cannot describe how amazing they came out. I have looked at them everyday since we have gotten them. In fact, sometimes I find myself wishing we could do it all over again just so I could do the engagement, bridals and first look again because it was soo much fun! Doug, Chey Ann and Titus at Arte De Vie are the perfect wedding vendor! They make you feel like more than just a client and I really appreciated that. I wish they did baby photos so I would have a reason to work with them again. MORE THAN SATISFIED!!!!

Arte De Vie is a great husband/wife team of photographers who take beautiful wedding pictures without making you feel uncomfortable or that your personal space has been invaded. I had Doug as my wedding photographer and he was very laid back and funny and made my girls and I feel relaxed as he took pictures of us getting ready for the big day. He and his partner were very helpful with anything that we needed or had questions about and took stunning pictures. I absolutely loved CheyAnne and the way that our pictures turned out. I had not spoken to CheyAnne until a week before the wedding (my mother found her and booked her), and did not meet her until the rehearsal (it was a destination wedding). The pictures captured everything that I wanted. Bridal prep ran long and so we did not get to take as many family pictures and bride pictures with the groomsmen and groom with bridesmaids, but it was still beautiful. She worked with what we wanted and captured the moment and the setting beautifully.

Doug far exceeded our expectations! We discovered Arte De Vie at a bridal show and immediately were sold on choosing them as our photographer! Doug and his wife were so professional and personable! Their photography was extremely impressive, too! Leading up to the wedding, Doug was not only informative on all the details needed to make sure the day ran smoothly but he also reassured my pre-wedding worries about making the day perfect! On the day of the wedding, we had Doug and Titus to photograph everything. Depsite the rain and gloomy weather, they helped brighten up the day with their extremely optimistic attitude. They were full of energy yet did not overwhelm you. You were able to "take in" the moment and relax while he captured "moments". And let me put emphasis on them "capturing moments"!! There were limited posed pictures. I never imagined being able to naturally experience the entire wedding while they perfectly captured the moments of such a special day! My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy each other and our family/friends. Our wedding was truly unforgettable and Doug was there to make sure we can relive it again and again through the years!!! I highly recommend Doug for not only his extraordinary quality of photography but also his genuine interest and desire to make your day perfect and capture it all!

My destination wedding was 9/2/12 in New Orleans, just 5 days after Hurricane Isaac hit. We had interviewed several photographers before selecting Arte de Vie about six months before the wedding. Doug did my bridal portraits a month before the wedding and then Doug and Titus did the photography for our entire wedding day. Doug and his team are professional. talented, creative and focused. They helped me to relax and I walked away enjoying the bridal shoot. My wedding was such an exciting and challenging time due to the Hurricane Isaac aftermath, and Doug and his team never missed a beat. During the wedding, they have a way of blending into the scenery but somehow never left my side the entire day. I was so excited to see how beautiful my pictures and how quickly they came out. My photos are amazing and captured so many of my wonderful memories.

When I got engaged there was one detail that I had already figured out... Doug Keese was going to be my photographer. Literally he is the first thing I booked after the engagement! He was absolutely everything I hoped that he would be. My pictures are amazing! He captured every moment of the wedding night and I am able to relive that night every time I look at the pictures. He is very laid back and easy to work with! I was also very pleased with our engagement and bridal photos! My husband, Chris, is not the most photogenic person and I knew that he would be very nervous for the engagement pictures. However, Doug was very patient with us and made us feel very comfortable.
