My husband and I had so much fun taking dance lessons at Arthur Murray prior to our wedding! We wanted our first dance to be more than just swaying back and forth, and we’re so happy with our decision to go to Arthur Murray. We worked with Gabby who was so much fun and had the best energy! Gabby taught us the steps and added some of her own flair with some spins, dips and a lift at the end! All choreographed perfectly to the music. We really enjoyed our weekly lessons with Gabby, and they became something we looked forward to. She got us excited for our wedding and made us feel way more comfortable with our dance, since this was our first time ever taking lessons! Gabby was patient with us as we learned and made changes along the way that worked for us. Our first dance was such a hit and our guests loved it! I highly recommend Arthur Murray for your first dance lessons!

10/10! During wedding planning, my fiancé and I decided we wanted to knock our first dance out of the park and headed to Arthur Murray in Montclair. We opted for a package and began working with Rosa. Rosa was kind, encouraging and a true professional! She choreographed a dance to our selected song that fit our 'dream dance' but also the reality of our (zero) skills lol. She knew what we were nervous about, excited about, and customized our experience to fit perfectly. Towards the end, Rosa had a dance competition in NY and we worked with her brother Frank. He knew our dance and it was such a smooth transition. We cannot say enough good things about both Rosa and Frank!! Thank you!!!!

Arthur Murray did a phenomenal job teaching us our dance routine for my spectacular summer wedding! They were patient with us, encouraged us to come to their practice group classes, and gave us helpful tips and remembering tool to help us with our steps. I wish we could've rehearsed in a skirt – I was stepping only a tad on my dress. However, we worked/danced around it. The end result was a beautifully executed waltz to Bryan Adams "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?".
I'm excited to get our wedding video reel, will pass it on so they can see! what a great job we did!

What a wonderful experience, preparing to dance at youngest son's wedding . Frank is the BEST of teachers - my son and I were well prepared and the bride and groom learned their own dance, which was a great success. Best of all ,the whole process of learning to dance was so much fun! I highly recommend Arthur Murray Montclair for every kind of dance instruction. All the instructors are superb.

Beautiful dancers, wonderful teachers, amazingly sweet people who are always rooting for you. Watching Frank and Rosa dance is like watching a movie. Monica, our instructor, was fabulous -- effervescent and full of ideas in creating our dance to a classic ballad mashed with a punk rave-up. Learning at this studio was an inspiring experience.

Nick was WONDERFUL. He was so kind, knowledgeable, personable, and funny! We had a wonderful time preparing for the wedding with him. Our dances looked incredible and all of our guests were so impressed with our moves!! Trust me, we are not dancers and Nick made us look professional! I highly recommend!!!

My husband and I could not have been happier with the dance lessons we got at Arthur Murray Studio Montclair, prior to our wedding day. Frank is an excellent teacher and such a wonderful person as well. He was very responsive to our messages, and helped us to fulfill our dream of dancing to a song from our culture for our first dance. He is not only very talented as a dancer, choreographer and teacher, but his passion for dance is truly contagious! Very friendly staff and comfortable environment. Most importantly, he got my husband (who had never danced before) on the dance floor for our special day. In the midst of our hectic and often stressful wedding planning days, our dance lessons at Arthur Murray were a refreshing retreat! Thank you Frank!

My husband and I worked with Monica on our first dance for our wedding. Firstly, all of the staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and most importantly welcoming. When we started working with Monica we loved her infectious smile and energetic personality! We weren’t too confident in our dancing skills but she took her time with us and we were learning how to dance in no time, without even realizing it because of the amount of fun we were having.
We told her our vision and she used her creative mind to make it a reality. We highly recommend coming to Arthur Murray’s dance studio in Montclair.

Bohdan helped us prepare for our first dance at our wedding, and he blew our expectations away. Not only did we look great on the dance floor for our big day, but Bohdan made it so much fun each time we went to practice with him. We genuinely looked forward to going each week, primarily because of how great a teacher he was and how he made it such a fun time each session. Could not recommend him/Arthur Murray studios enough for anyone looking to learn some moves!

My now-wife and I came to Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Montclair with zero dancing experience in search of a First Dance, and the staff was extremely kind and warm right from our first meeting. From the first lesson to the last, our instructor Alley was so helpful in teaching and guiding us each step of the way. We attended as many dance parties and group dances as we could and all the instructors are so friendly and encouraging! We highly recommend this dance studio and the instructors are the best!

We loved every session!! My now husband and I had private lessons with Nick before our wedding. We loved his energy and he was so patient with us. We felt the dance fit our song perfectly. We still use his moves at other parties and at home! Everyone at the studio is so kind and friendly. Highly recommend, and we'll be back as well!!

My husband and I took dance lessons the weeks leading up to our wedding. Everyone at the studio was so warm and welcoming. You could tell they love teaching people this lost art of dance. Allie, our instructor, was so patient and understanding throughout this process. She was extremely flexible and always had a smile on her face. The dance she taught us was 10/10. I felt confident on the dance floor and all of our guests were very impressed when we stepped out for our first dance.

When Steve and I got engaged, we decided to call Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Montclair for lessons for our First Dance. We were nervous at first, but Alley made us so comfortable and at ease - we gained our confidence after day 1! She is incredibly patient, professional and beautifully graceful! She taught us a great choreography and we really impressed our guests! The lessons ended up being a very fun date night for us - and a time that we will always remember. We are so very grateful to Alley and so glad we called Arthur Murray Dance Studios!

My husband and I had a phenomenal experience working with Aurthur Murray Dance Studio Montclair! We reached out to Arthur Murray for dance lessons for our wedding about five months before the event date. From our first lesson, Frank made us feel so comfortable and excited about learning our dance. Frank was very prepared and already had choreographed the beginning of our first dance to our chosen song. To start, Frank taught us some basic steps and broke everything down so it was very easy to follow. He was extremely encouraging and helped build our confidence throughout the few months we took the lessons. Frank listened to our feedback and choreographed an amazing first dance for us. We also worked with Ali during the group lesson and she was wonderful as well. All of the staff we worked with - Frank, Ali, and Rosa - made us feel so welcomed and were genuinely excited for our big day. We can't wait to come back!

Frank, Rosa and Ally, along with the rest of the team have been so wonderful!! My husband and I came in back in January '22 to learn to dance for our wedding which happened in June '22. Our experience and dances were so wonderful we decided to continue with them after the wedding to learn more dances. We was able to participate in their annual showcase competition as newcomers in October and we had a blast!! We love this team!!!

I decided to plan dance lessons for my dad and I for my father daughter dance on my wedding day. I called Arthur Murray and from the first phone call they were so friendly and willing to help every step of the way. Our teacher Frank was so patient, full of positivity and was so kind throughout our whole experience. He gave us his honest feedback which helped us improve each dance class. The day of my wedding my dad and I felt so confident and went through with our whole dance that Frank taught us. Not only was our wedding day a day we will forever remember but my dad and I will never forget the beautiful experience and memories we had with our dance lessons at Arthur Murray studio. Ally was amazing ! We gave the studio a hard upbeat song for our wedding dance and they delivered like the pros they are ! Wow we were so impressed by the choreography and it was easy to do for beginners even though it looked complicated !! The staff is professional and so kind . Great spot and we can’t go back to stop by for other dance classes .

I scheduled an introductory lesson for my now wife and I as a birthday present, unsure of if she would even want to take dance lessons. Quickly we began looking forward to our lessons and couldn’t be more thrilled with how our first dance ended up. Alley was a great instructor that made us extremely comfortable and relaxed. We impressed our friends and family with our routine and owe it all to Alley for putting together an elegant routine. I would highly recommend couples use Arthur Murray as a fun date night and to make their first dance a memorable part of the big day!

There had been a choreographed couples dance routine video I saw that really got me into dancing and something my wife and I always wanted to learn. We thought, what better opportunity to make that come true then for our wedding? Taking 5 great lessons with Rosa and Frank, my wife and I were able to make our vision come true! They broke the routine down step by step so that is was easier for us to learn and were patient with us anytime we had a question. They put a lot of effort into learning the routine themselves, tailoring it to our dancing capabilities, and even edited the song specific to our routine for the DJs use. My wife and I had a great experience and thank Frank and Rosa so much for all there hard work and effort. For one of the most special moments in our lives, you truly made us feel like stars!

We enrolled in a 6 lesson course and it was absolutely worth it! This was the most fun we had planning our summer wedding and really learned how to dance together and have fun. All the instructors are amazing and really helped us relax and have fun while perfecting our routine. We highly recommend this to any couple! Thank you so much again for all the fun, we absolutely loved all the dance instructors and still dance everytime we head harvest moon.

I began dance lessons without my husband so I can become more comfortable with my two left feet :) the last 3 lessons my husband was brought in so we could practice our 1st dance. Our instructor Gregory was AWESOME! He made the lessons fun and stress free. Our first dance was amazing. I would recommend this studio and if you can book him, Gregory :)
