I cannot say enough about Ali from Aster and Fir. What a pleasure it was to work with her. When I told her my vision for having multicolor, different types of florals as my bouquet and throughout the room, she was immediately on board. Other florists told me that it wouldn't be possible. I then asked about bud vases, something very simple for the table, other florists quoted me thousands for a few small florals, Ali was reasonable and her presentation on the day of was out of this world. She turned our venue into something magical. Pricing was affordable for Long Island florals and I was quoted much more by others in the area!! Ali was such a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!!!

I’ve always admired Ali’s work being from Astoria, so when it was time to book a florist for our wedding in Pennsylvania I inquired with Aster & Fir hoping that they would travel with us and I am so glad that they did! Ali worked with us to create a beautiful color palette using unique flowers and even used flowers from my garden to make my bridal bouquet extra special. When I had an idea to incorporate disco balls into our ceremony arch and reception florals, Ali went above & beyond with her creativity and design and created the floral arch of my dreams! Aster & Fir worked with our budget and repurposed anything that they could for the ceremony to the reception, including moving our arch from the ceremony to our sweetheart table. From the planning stages to the day of our wedding Ali and her team were responsive, easy to work with and we felt supported every step of the way, we can’t recommend Ali & her team enough!

We can't recommend Aster & Fir highly enough! From our first conversation with Alexandra, we knew we were in amazing hands. Alexandra has a unique style and understood our vision from day one. We had several special circumstances and she handled each with grace and an amazing collaborative attitude. During our walk through she helped us think through creative solutions and shared so many wonderful ideas for the event. Our guests have been raving about the florals -- from a truly beautiful chuppah that incorporated a family chuppah cover, to table arrangements that were vibrant and elegant, and so many other details throughout the night. The florals were a huge highlight of the night for us, and Alexandra's warmth made this the easiest part of our wedding planning process.

I knew that booking Alexandra and Aster & Fir was the right move from the moment I laid my eyes on centerpieces created for a friend's bridal shower! The unique floral choices and gorgeous color palette blew me away. I knew immediately that I HAD to have Alexandra and her team design my wedding florals. Working with Alexandra was so easy. She was very responsive and able to decipher my style and vision using the hodgepodge of images I kept adding to my Pinterest board. I knew I was going to love my florals, but nothing prepared me for the beautiful centerpieces, chuppah, and bouquets I recieved. I was blown away by the attention to detail and eye for such stunning flowers. My mother who is an avid gardener and flower snob was in awe of the floral arrangements. She was also moved by Alexandra’s thoughtfulness in adding touches of marigolds throughout centerpieces. I had forgotten to mention the cultural importance of marigolds for my family, but Alexandra had done her research and included them beautifully. It was such an amazing touch and just spoke volumes of how detail-oriented and thoughtful the team at Aster & Fir is. I also loved how flexible Alexandra was. I asked for some last-minute changes and wanted to reuse my florals for brunch the next morning and she was more than happy to accommodate my requests. Not only did I have stunning florals for my reception; but brunch was also transformed by Aster & fir’s stunning creations! Once I finally announced that guests could take home florals, people were scrambling to grab centerpieces and arrangements haha. I received so many compliments on Alexandra’s creations and can’t wait to request her for future parties and celebrations!!!

It was absolutely fantastic to work with Alexandra! She took my vision and made it reality. I'm not great at design, but told Alexandra the colors I loved, and that it was important to me to have hints of my grandmother's favorite flowers - and she pulled it off with our color scheme and everything! She noticed that I had updated our Pinterest board a few weeks out, and reached out to confirm what we wanted. She was so amazing and kind throughout the planning process, showed up on time, and I literally cried when I saw the bouquet it was so beautiful. Our bridesmaids loved their bouquets, and the centerpieces and candle details were gorgeous. OH! and our chuppa!!! Our chuppa was perfect and beautiful!!!

Stunning flowers! Everything was really beautiful. Not quite as many flowers as I expected for the cost (certainly a more pricey florist), but everything was arranged beautifully!!

Aster & Fir we're so fun to work with and everything came out perfect for my wedding day! The only time I cried that day was when I saw my bouquet - I just couldn't believe how perfect and beautiful it came out. From our arch, to the small touches of greenery and florals around our venue, everything was just beyond perfect. We are very happy with Alexandra (Aster and Fir) and her work for my daughter’s wedding. She was so easy to work with and had a very positive personality during the whole process, even with me trying to coordinate from North Carolina. The choices of flowers completely matched our inspiration ideas and she did her best to make everything perfect for Emily’s big day.

My husband and I used aster & fir (Alexandra) for our small wedding in October. We got a bridal bouquet and a boutonnière. We were BLOWN away. They were absolutely gorgeous. The photographer told us it was the most gorgeous bouquet she has ever seen. All the guests raved about it and I even had strangers stop me on the street to tell me how gorgeous it was. 10/10 would use her again and would recommended her to anyone. All I did was show her a few inspiration pictures and she ran with it, she totally got my vision!

We used Alexandra from aster & fir for our wedding in August. Alexandra was so incredibly helpful from day 1. She has a great vision and creativity. The bridal bouquet that she made for me was absolutely stunning and unique. She was able to work with my budget to repurpose some church pieces for the reception. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend.

Alexandra is honestly the best of the best! From the moment I first spoke with her on the phone for a consultation, to our meeting at her studio, and then again on our wedding day she was amazing, sweet, and thorough! It was so refreshing to have someone who immediately understood my vision and executed it perfectly! She was so understanding, patient, and willing to make any adjustments as desired, even last minute. The florals and centerpiece displays turned out more beautiful then I could have ever imagined. The number of compliments we received from guests was astounding! We could not be happier and it was truly so comforting on the day of the wedding knowing we did not need to worry and could put our trust in her. I will be recommending Aster & Fir to everyone!!

Aster and fir flowers were everything we dreamt about! Our wedding was perfect mainly because our flowers were beautiful & what we imagined. Ali was amazing! And so quick to always answer back!
