Aunt Chilada's Squaw Peak

I can’t recommend this place enough as the perfect wedding venue! Aunt Chiladas came recommended by many friends and family members. Michele was amazing to work with and helped us plan every detail for our big day. The staff was flawless and did everything perfectly. Our friends say this was the one of the best wedding they’ve been to and definitely the most laid back and fun. Their prices are extremely reasonable and inexpensive - you cannot go wrong with this place!

The perfect venue for my wedding and reception. We wanted a very short ceremony immediately followed by the reception and Michele at Aunt Chilada's delivered. It was a real Mexican fiesta! All of my guests were raving about the beautiful, comfortable atmosphere, the great food and the fabulous service. I highly recommend this venue.

I had my wedding reception at Aunt Chilada's Squaw Peak Location. Our wedding was Mexican inspired, colorful, with the main goal being to have a good time. Aunt Chilada's has been around for a long time in Phoenix and has an amazing history-I would recommend reading about it on their website :). It has been around so long that my parents actually had their wedding rehearsal dinner there about 31 years ago! Our wedding was located on their beautiful, outdoor patio. The decor was colorful and matched perfectly with my vision for the day. The management is very flexible with your ideas and wants for the wedding. I was able to have a beautiful wedding that was tons of fun for my husband and I (as well as the guests) for a very reasonable price. There are additional options you can add that will make your wedding memorable for everyone- I chose to have Mijja the beer toting burro attend my wedding, but they have other fun ideas like attractive ladies serving tequila, demos on how to make amazing salsa or margaritas, adult pinatas, and others. I interacted with Michele for the most part. She is very responsive and easy to work with. My flowers were a DIY project, and Michele allowed me to store all of them in their cooler overnight so that they would be fresh for the reception in the morning. She was also very flexible in terms of my menu. For guests with special dietary requests, she allowed them to order from the regular menu. I also had a few requests regarding the tacos served at the wedding and she made sure those things happened! The day went well and many guests commented that "it was the most fun wedding they had ever attended". The only downside was that it was sunny and warm on our wedding day and the restaurant wasn't able to provide us with umbrellas to make more shade during lunch. Overall, fantastic venue (especially for the price!). Perfect place for brides and grooms who want a fun, unique, and memorable wedding!

We wanted to have a fun, casual rehearsal dinner, but we needed a ton of space for 160 out of town guests. Aunt Chiladas was perfect! We arrived in buses and were greeted with immediate drinks at the curb, margaritas and beer in every hand! We took over 3 rooms, but the restaurant is divided up really well for any size party. We used a projector for some presentations, which went beautifully. The food was also very good, and very Arizona- which for out of towners, is a hit.
