Rick and Elyse hit the nail in the head when I asked for "Enchanted Christmas Castle in France" LOL The flowers and chuppa reached far beyond my expectations. Thank you so so much!

Avant Gardens did our wedding on January 9th at the Biltmore. I showed them a few photos of what I was looking for and when I came for my sample, their creation was even better than I had even imagined! They had thoughtful ideas for table settings, centerpieces, bouquets, flower crown for our flower girl, and even did a topper for our cake. Wonderful and talent group of people!! Don’t think twice just book with them!!

All I can say is wow. This florist really knows how to decorate a wedding. All of the decor and flowers were beautifully on point. They were very accommodating to our budget and helping find an arrangement that would work for us. We went back and forth many times while coordinating and they were very helpful and kind throughout. Would recommend a more complete ‘sample’ table as it was hard to imagine with all of the plates, glasses and silverware. Overall, 5 stars!

Working with Elyse was a pleasure! She was very responsive whenever trying to schedule a meeting, asking questions over email, or even making changes over email. She was very flexible and also gave great advice regarding our flower arrangements. She even personally delivered the bouquets to our hotel room on our wedding day, which was much appreciated! We were able to see exactly what our reception tables would look like prior to the wedding, as they have a sample appointment where you can see the flowers they would use, the vase, the candles, etc. Everything looked beautiful the day of our wedding!!

Only pick them if you want amazing creativity and talent. Rick, Elyse and his team were lovely to deal with at every point in putting our wedding together. Their attention to detail was exquisite.... The flowers were spectacular, unique, out of this world, and our chuppah was my daughter’s vision which was phenomenal, backed by the ocean and a gorgeous sunset! RICK is the man, and I will use him over and over and over again!

Ultimately we were very pleased with their work, but the customer service was lacking. They charged our credit card TWICE without authorization and refused to remedy their mistake the second time. They showed us a terrible sample despite us showing pictures of exactly what we wanted, and we were told that they "don't like to copy", but I'm paying for what I want. The arrangements weren't all what we agreed, but the flowers were beautiful nonetheless. It was not a pleasant experience to work with them, but everything looked great.

Rick and the entire team did such an amazing amazing job on our wedding! From the flowers to the decor, everything was BEYOND amazing and everything we could have dreamed of and more! They were such a pleasure to work with and truly captured our spirit and ideas. They took a huge weight off our shoulders and we knew we were in good hands from day one. I would recommend Rick and his team to ANYONE and everyone. we couldn't be happier with the beautiful day they put together for us.

Avant Gardens were a preferred vendor through our venue, and they were my top choice when looking through options for our wedding day flowers. I'm not someone who is crazy about flowers, nor did I have a super clear idea of what I wanted. Elyse and team were so easy to work with, sharing ideas and options that could work within our budget. They were also flexible with scheduling meetings since I was traveling from NYC. The flowers and candles at the wedding were gorgeous - better than I could have even imagined. Set up and tear down went on without a hitch. I would highly recommend them! PS because I loved working with them and the process for the wedding flowers, I worked with them for flowers for our rehearsal dinner as well.

My wedding venue recommends using this as a vendor. I made an appointment and met with one of their Managers. They showed me many arrangements and refused to tell me what anything cost while discussing the arrangements. At the end they told me the cost. I had some amount of credit applied from the venue, and I must say to NOT use this vendor. There are so many better and less costly vendors out there.

Our flowers from Avant Gardens were exquisite. The arrangements were enormous, rich and far more than we expected. I visited five florists in all and Elyse and Rick at Avant Gardens crushed the competition. Their communication, ability to interpret our vision, flower quality and originality of the composition were as if we were their only customers. I really felt like Elyse was part of our family. Every guest who walked into the room asked FIRST - who did your flowers?! Flowers were fresh and gorgeous with delivery being on time and efficient. With everything being so hectic and stressful, Avant Gardens was one thing that actually reassured me. We live in another state and my only regret is that they are in Miami. I wish I could have them airlifted to South Carolina. Our guests were blown away and so was I. No comparison.

Avant Gardens provided the flowers and decor for my intimate wedding at the Miami Beach Womans Club and did an outstanding job. When I met with Elyse, the project coordinator of AG, she showed me their portfolio, consisting of events at the Biltmore, Vizcaya, Little Palm Island, etc. The flowers were so original and beautiful but I was certain I wouldn't be able to afford them. Rick, the owner of the company, and Elyse worked with me to make adjustments to the package that brought the price down but didn't impact the look. The venue coordinator was thrilled with their service (delivery and breakdown) and I received nothing but praise for the decor. I enjoyed the flowers at the venue and gifted most of them to my guests, who told me the held up for over a week. I would confidently recommend Avant Gardens for any wedding, quince, party, or special event.

We loved working with Rick and the team at Avant Gardens. During our first meeting with Rick we showed him a photo of a bouquet that I really loved, and right on the spot he was able to identify all of the flowers. He also took the time during that meeting to get to know us and our vision. Most importantly, he was able to actualize our vision for our wedding. Everything was gorgeous and exceeded all expectations. And I cannot even begin to tell you how many compliments I received on the florals and our chuppah. I would highly recommend Rick and the team at Avant Gardens to anyone looking for a floral and décor company that is easy to work with, flexible, extremely knowledgeable and creative. Avant Gardens sure did beautify our wedding! Immediately, we knew we were in good hands. During our planning meeting in January, they took the time to view what we wanted and found the right flowers for the time of season and price to recreate our desire. The options they have for glass and linens was great. They were able to deliver exactly what I had envisioned. I was not able to come to Florida to view a sample table but they were able to deliver with a photo. The flowers at the reception were exactly like promised...absolutely breathtaking. When walking into our reception I was in shock by the color and beauty. I would whole heartedly recommend Avant Gardens for your wedding florals!

We wanted a romantic wedding and Avant provided us with just that. We gave Rick our color scheme and showed him a couple of pictures and he took it from there. They are a one stop shop so they provided chairs, linens, furniture, chargers, florals, and lighting. They completely exceeded any expectations I had. Everything from our ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception was beyond gorgeous. They made it super stress free for us and we are so thankful we used them. They are worth every penny.

One word...JESSICA! From our very first meeting, I knew my dream wedding would become a reality! My wedding theme was "campy chic" and Avant Gardens was able to make my wildest imaginations come true!! Jessica listened to my ideas and wants and then went above & beyond anything I could've ever described. I was blown away...especially by the chuppah and centerpieces...which were 7 foot tall trees. What's also great is they can also provide you with lighting, and all your linens as well. A dream team to work with!!!

I've heard that so many brides had snags with their florists on the big day. The flowers are the first thing people see when they walk into the reception, so I wanted to make sure that they were just right! Avant Gardens was a but pricey, but every arrangement was absolutely perfect, my bouquet was exceptionally beautiful, bridesmaids bouquets were exactly what I wanted, church flowers were stunning, and the purple uplighting in the ballroom was classy and tasteful. The only thing I would suggest is that the placement of the pinspot lights be more carefully situated. Unfortunately a few of our guests complained that the pinspot lights were in their eyes and they couldn't see. After the dances and speeches, we unplugged the pinspots and the room still looked gorgeous. All in all, great florist, high quality flowers, staff was easy to work with and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Worth the price to not have to worry about things going wrong!

As with all of our vendors we did a lot of research to pick just the right one. We chose Avant Gardens for many reasons and couldn't have been happier with our choice. In the beginning to come up with our vision we worked with Patricia who walked us through every possible flower and decoration we would need, never pressuring us to to feel we needed to add more than we could afford and telling us her honest opinion about what we could do without to create our vision yet stay within our budget. She helped us craft our vision when we didn't have one to begin with just an idea of certain pieces we wanted. On the day of, they were so easy we did not even see them we left everything up to them so we didn't have to worry about it and could enjoy the day but when we finally were able to see their creation it was everything we could have asked for and more! Everything was perfect and just what we pictured. They were able to create extremely dramatic centerpieces and amazing floral arrangements for the bouquets and ceremony from only meeting them once. We received many compliments from all of the guest. It was all so beautiful My only disappointment with anything was that I keep everything forever!

Rick @ Avant-Gardens was great. i had a destination wedding on south beach and we handled pretty much everything over email. he was great dealing with all my emails and questions and the end result was great. He helped work with my budget and the end result was great. the favorite part was my bouquet. i still get compliments on how great the colors of it worked with the girls dresses.

Avant Gardens was great. I was from out of town and they were forthcoming in helping to choose flower arrangements. My coordinator sent me pictures of my actual arrangements before hand to make sure i liked them. I didn't have specific pictures, i was actually a little bit hands off and they made beautiful arrangements that exceeded my expectations. Just note, they are a bit on the pricy side, but besides that they were great.

Working with the team at Avant Gardens was such a wonderful experience! When I arrived for my meeting with them, I had no idea what I wanted. I only knew that my basic color scheme would be red, cream, and black with a twist on vintage. Rick and his team somehow made sense of this information and turned it into the most beautiful floral display I could ever have imagined for my wedding. The flowers were fresh, vibrant, and exquisitely arranged. It was even evident in wedding photography - the hues on the petals were absolutely stunning and the design completely made the room. I would recommend them to anyone - they are creative enough to work with any budget and talented enough to pull off any vision without a hitch.

We had five vendors to choose - and the wedding was less than a month away. Rick was the only one to truly listen and put into action to what the bride specifically asked for. In short, we received beautiful products, professionally delivered, and at completely fair prices. Others were upselling, adding, changing, resulting in shocking prices and not really fulfilling the bride's well designed plans. Moreover, hours before the wedding during setup, we needed an additional boutinere and also a bouquet for last minute two people added. This was accomplished with ease and with our many THANKS. Rick was our primary contact - please give him a call for a professional, understanding, and honest handling of your wedding!

Hi there new brides and congratulations! I was just in your shoes recently and planning a wedding is tough and stressful I know! So my husband and I decided to simplify things and have a destination wedding on the beach in South Beach Miami, Florida!! So like all of you, I was so nervous about finding the right florist and my wedding planner Jamie Lipman at the National Hotel gave me Avant-Gardens number and said they are fantastic! I not only chose them because they came hightly recommended but they offered linen service too and it made things SO much easier. So I worked with Patricia and she was so easy to work with right off the bat! I honestly had no vision of what I was going to have and felt as if I was flying blind but I gave her a list of flowers and styles I liked and told her the look and theme I was doing, I left the creative part of it up to Patricia. So on my wedding day I was blown away on how beautiful and tasteful the ceremony and reception was styled! It was far better than I could ever imagine! Thanks to Patricia and Avant-Gardens they helped make my wedding extra special and easy!

I was married in October at the Biltmore Hotel. Rick and I clicked from our first meeting. He was upfront and honest from the start about cost and gave me suggestions on where to splurge and where to cut back. He also listened to what I wanted and what was important to me, something the other 2 florists I met with did not. The result – the florals and decor at my wedding was absolutely gorgeous! Everyone at the wedding raved about them and it’s also evident in our pictures. I also want to that a week before the wedding I had to add two tables due to an increased headcount. To offset the increased cost, I eliminated fern curls from my bridesmaids’ bouquet. Rick knew that I really wanted them and put them in anyway. That just goes to show you that he truly wants his brides to be happy.

Rick was great to work with for my October 2010 wedding. I am not from Miami, so Rick was patient with me sending me pictures helping me decide and even working with my budget. The flowers were fresh and absolutely beautiful. I would highly reccommend them for any event or occasion.

I was just marrried November 13th at the Biltmore in Miami. Avant Gardens was amazing! The Chuppah looked incredible, the table's looked amazing, and my bride and her maids loved their bouquets. Everyone commented on how wonderfull the flowers looked, and the pictures are stunning. They worked within our budget, and managed to create a truly magical experience for us and our guests. highly reccomended. Dave Friedman

Spectacular and Breathtaking is all I can say of the beautiful arrangements at the Wedding of my cousin. Married in October 2010 they made an historical location come to life!! The beautiful arrangements and bouquets where breath taking!

My wedding was beautiful. Patricia was patient and understanding. She paid attention to the details and the end result was even better than I could have expected. My guests were very impressed with the transformation of the hotel grounds. The staff worked really well with the National Hotel which was superb.

If you've been lucky enough to find Avant Gardens before looking at anyone else, look no further! Avant Gardens did my outdoor Key Biscayne wedding in December and it was AMAZING. Not only did they understand mine and my husband's style, which is somewhat hippy-chic and totally NOT Miami, but they executed it professionally and with grace and patience. They understood that we wanted to work within a certain budget and they made it happen.... What's more, when other vendors I had hired were not as professional, Rick and Patricia of Avant Gardens stepped up and helped remedy the problem by taking on more than their share of the work. I would HIGHLY recommend Avant Gardens and will be a returning customer when the day comes that I'm ready for a baby shower!!! Thank you Rick and Patricia....you really made our wedding day beautiful.
