Robyn did an outstanding job for our wedding in September 2024! The cake, which was tiered and had 3 flavors, was a massive hit with everybody involved. I can't recommend her enough!

I would 1000% recommend Backyard Bakeries to anyone! Robyn makes the most delicious cakes! So many of my guests have reached out since the wedding to say how amazing the cake tasted and ask who made it! Robyn was so easy to talk to and work with. I wanted fresh florals on my cake, and she was able to work with my florist to make sure she had what she needed to make it happen. Our cake was beautiful and delicious!!

Our wedding cake from Backyard Bakeries was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Our two tier cake had lemon lavender and blueberry with Swiss meringue buttercream frosting. Robyn was very accommodating in our requests, we asked for a figurine of our dog to be put on the cake and she made it happen. Our cake arrived in time for the wedding, looked pretty, and our guests absolutely loved it. We highly recommend her!

Robyn with Backyard Bakeries created the perfect sweetheart cake for us to cut at our wedding reception! She was responsive and easy to work with, keeping our wedding planning stress to a minimum. She delivered the cake to our venue and set it up in a timely manner. While the cake was just for us to cut and not serve to guests, it was absolutely delicious and we are excited to eat the rest of it on our one year anniversary!

Our wedding cake was incredible.!Our guests smashed it, there were only about 4 pieces left at the end of the night. It looked just like the vision we had in mind and the taste was incredible. We had a hard time picking which flavor because they were all so incredibly good. Robyn, the proprietor and baker, was a dream to work with, so incredibly sweet. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Robyn is incredible! If ten stars were an option, I’d give her eleven. She was a perfect combination of both professional & personal and after only one meeting, was able to bring our dream wedding cake to life. And it was not an easy task, the main layer was made with thousands of wafer paper circles that she folded into half circles – it was literally a masterpiece and complete labor of love. Not to mention, delicious! We included cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries that were to die for; so much in fact we went back after the wedding and ordered more! I couldn’t have asked for a better friend turned friend, she’s creative and fun-loving with products to match. Highly recommend for any occasion, I’ve since ordered twice from her and continue to be more impressed with every purchase! PS. Robyn did a wonderful job with my wedding cake. It was absolutely beautiful and tasted fantastic! She was able to create exactly what we wanted based off our inspo photos! She responded in a timely manner, was very professional both through text and in person, and organized her own delivery of the cake to the venue which helped this stressed out bride not have to worry. Definitely recommend her cakes!

Our wedding cake was the thing I was most looking forward to for our wedding reception. It did not disappoint! Our cake was gorgeous AND delicious. Robyn was very communicative during the consultation/cake selection process, and we had so much fun at our cake tasting. On the day, the cake exceeded my expectations. Some of the best cake I have ever had. Cannot recommend her work enough!

Robyn was amazing. She was so nice to work with and did amazing work. The cake came out lovely and tasted absolutely amazing! The flavors were unique and perfect.

Robyn is one amazing baker. She is located in Castle Rock which is a big reason we picked her, but her cakes, cupcakes, and GF chocolate chip cookies were AMAZING. We ordered a small two tier chocolate cake with white frosting, cupcakes with three different flavors, and GF cookies. The price was very reasonable and she delivered everything perfectly. She was so kind and easy to work with. Thank you Robyn!!!!

Oh my goodness! What and amazing little bakery! We hired Robyn for our wedding cake and I cannot even believe how beautiful it turned out! Beyond that, the flavors of the cake were out of this world! This is cake worth fighting over the last piece! Robyn - thank you so much for making auch a beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding day! We highly recommend Robyn for anything dessert related! We booked Robyn/Backyard Bakeries to create our wedding cake for our destination wedding in Estes Park. I could not be more pleased with the planning processing and creating the cake of my dreams. Robyn was absolutely amazing to work with. Our cake itself was delicious and I have never tasted anything so scrumptious. We had traditional white wedding and chocolate peanut butter and by the end of our reception, there was no cake remaining! Not due to the lack of cake, but because of how delicious the cake was. We even ended up ordering extra cupcakes before we left town. I would highly recommend Robyn/Backyard Bakeries to anyone in the Denver/front range area who is looking for a cake/dessert bar for their wedding or special event. You will not be disappointed!!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!! The owner is very personable and great communications. She does everything she can to ensure everything is perfect. We hired Backyard Bakeries for the Bridal Shower and the Wedding. The custom cookies at the bridal shower were delicious. Our dessert table at the Wedding was exactly the way we wanted it to be and the Bride/Groom cake was something from a magazine. Our guests raved about everything, but especially the macaroons. The variety of cupcake flavors is amazing and the fillings and frosting rival what I have tasted in European bakeries! HIGHLY recommend Backyard Bakeries for your event.

Robyn really went above and beyond, traveling 2 hours to bring for my sons wedding! The cake was gorgeous. Very well made, filling and icing had incredible flavor. She also helped with making brownies and cookies for the reception, which both were out of this world! I would definitely recommend Backyard Bakeries for any of your hosting needs.

We chose Backyard Bakeries as our wedding dessert vendor and Robyn absolutely crushed it! We could not have asked for anyone better to make our cake & desserts. The cake was beautiful and then we had a couple of macaroon towers, cheesecake bites, cookies, & lemon bars. Our guests could not get enough of everything that Robyn and her team made. Robyn at Backyard Bakeries is amazing! I found her on The Knot for my daughter’s destination wedding in Colorado. She is professional, personable and punctual! And her cakes are incredible! I would definitely and highly recommend Backyard Bakeries.

This review honestly won't do justice to how incredible Robyn was to work with and how truly DELICIOUS the cake and desserts were that she created for our wedding! My husband and I had a pretty high bar set for the dessert served at our wedding, Kyle is self-proclaimed pastry "connoisseur" and honestly Robyn blew his expectations out of the water. She and I communicated quite a bit about what I had envisioned well before we met, and she offered to do a private little menu tasting based on what I told her we had imagined! We wanted a sweets table in addition to the cake that incorporated not only Kyle and I's taste, but fun little things specific to our son's favorite desserts! What Robyn created for us was wayyyyy beyond what we imagined. She made us a 2 tier Butter Pecan and Carrot Cake with the most amazing vanilla buttercream! Crème Brulee Macarons ( which honestly might be one of the BEST desserts I've ever had), Lemon Cake Pops , mini -pies : Pecan Pie with a Vanilla Bourbon whipped cream and a vanilla custard filled fruit tart. When I say that no amount of words can do these desserts justice, I truly mean it. Not a single dessert was left over and I still have people complimenting how delicious everything was. Robyn was so sweet, I felt like I was working with one of my close friends to bring anything I could've imagined to life. Do yourself a favor and hire her immediately. You won't regret it!

Robyn at Backyard Bakeries is amazing! From the start she is a very real person that treated us like we were the only clients that mattered. She had me to send her colors/inspiration for our dessert and captured it perfectly for the wedding day. We talked multiple times to get a clear idea of what we wanted. She formally worked as a nurse and understood my concerns with Covid, so we went with cupcakes and macaroons for guests and a cutting cake for us as a couple to reduce the amount of people touching each dessert. There was a mix up of address the day of the event, but she had our desserts and cake up in plenty of time for the guests. She let us borrow some beautiful dessert stands and when I returned them, she had made us some extra macaroons to take on our honeymoon the next day. I would recommend her for your event or wedding!

Such an amazing experience working with Robyn. We ordered our wedding cake from her, requesting German chocolate cake, buttercream frosting and strawberry filling and she absolutely killed it! It was the best cake I’ve had in such a long time. She was very easy to communicate with and her response time was so quick with any questions or changes I had along the way! Absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a cake so good you’ll hide some for yourselves later to keep enjoying!!! ❤️❤️

The cake was so tasty! We received many compliments on the flavor, moistness, and appearance. I would highly recommend this bakery and the products! Robyn (the owner and baker) was so easy to work with and flexible! We also used her for the bridal shower. She made gorgeous and tasty cupcakes, and the best sugar cookies I have ever eaten. They were beautiful also!

Robyn was amazing from start to finish. I am a baker myself but didn’t want to stress about making my own cake and cupcakes. She is an artist that has mastered her skill! Great flavors, and she was willing to try new things for me as well. Will definitely be using in the future for any baking needs!!
