Bakery Express / MS Desserts

When we were looking for a baker, my now husband and I set up an appointment here. When the day came, we showed up and nobody knew we were coming. Not only that, but nobody from the cakes department was even in. A woman who worked there was very kind and did her best, but admitted she was not trained on cakes. She set us in the tasting room, provided the book of designs and a tasting plate, and left to try and call a manager. She took notes to pass on to her manager, but we were concerned about the level of disorganization displayed and how that would translate to our cake purchase.

I was a little worried how my cake would turn out since it was ordered last minute due to unforseen circumstances. However, the cake was perfect!!! Not to mention, it tasted so good! I can't wait to get a replica cake on our 1 year anniversary!

I ordered my husband's groom 's cake from Ms. Desserts (Bakery Express) and it was the best decision I could have made. He's a Dallas Cowboys fan living in the midst of Ravens Nation! Nevertheless, Ms. Desserts made a beautiful Cowboy's cake, and it looked just like the picture that I gave them. Unfortunately, I tried to bargain on my wedding cake, and used a friend of my mother. The cake was leaning and extra flowers were placed on it to hide missing patches of icing. It was so bad that it fell apart when the caterer tried to cut it, so it couldn't be served. Thank goodness for the groom's cake, which ended up being served in place of the wedding cake. Everyone raved about the taste, unfortunately it was not big enough to feed all of my guest. Next time I need a cake for any occasion, I will definitely be going to Ms. Desserts. My advice to every bride is to pay whatever you have to for your wedding cake. It's definitely worth it in the end!

We worked with Ms. Desserts to create a small wedding cake for our immediate family and bridal party. Our guests had a variety of homemade cookies to choose from instead of cake. Ms. Desserts was professional and able to create a cake more beautiful than we could have imagined. The icing flowers they made for our cake were gorgeous and matched the ones in my bouquet perfectly. On top of being beautiful, it was the best cake we have ever tasted! Neither one of us are huge cake fans, which is why everyone else had cookies, but this cake was delicious! Our only quam was that Ms. Desserts charged more than half of what the cake cost to deliver it to Catonsville, so we had to have our family pick it up between the ceremony and reception.
