Hi, I'm Kelly! I've recently come out of retirement, after a 30-year career in Supply Chain Management, to start working again as the Event Manager at the Balsam Lake Lodge. It turns out I'm not so great at slowing down; I miss being busy and I've really missed working with people. That's where you come in! I'm excited to put my skills to use again, working with you to plan your perfect day. If you haven't had a chance to visit Balsam Lake, or the Balsam Lake Lodge, you don't know what you're missing. It's a pretty special place, come and check us out! :)

We LOVED our wedding at Balsam Lake Lodge! It was amazing & everything we wanted. The view outside is gorgeous & can be seen from the Lake Room as well. Kelly was truly outstanding to work with & was such an amazing help. She went above and beyond to work out all the finer details of our day. She was responsive & attentive throughout the entire planning process & the entire day. We couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else once we toured the lodge. It was exactly what we needed, but also came together so beautifully. It was just stunning & we cannot say enough great things about the venue & Kelly. It was truly a dream & we are so grateful for her!

out exactly as you wanted. However, much of the credit goes to the two of you. I have never seen anyone as organized as you! And the level of concern Duane had in making sure everything was on track so you wouldn’t have anything to worry about was above and beyond, it was just so sweet. You guys made my job easy! I cannot say enough good things about this place. First of all, Kelly is amazing to work with. She gets back to you immediately, works with your ideas and gives great input. the rooms are beautiful, the setting was fabulous, the food was terrific. It was so easy and perfect for our micro wedding.

She was incredibly responsive, always available to answer questions and offer helpful advice, ensuring every detail was just right. The staff on the wedding day were equally amazing—attentive, efficient, and always going the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly. With its stunning views and beautiful setting, the venue itself was a breathtaking backdrop for our special day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Balsam Lake Lodge!

Balsam Lake Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding! Kelly, the event coordinator, was attentive to every detail and was in communication with us throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding Kelly and the Balsam Lake Lodge team handled everything, leaving my family and I free to enjoy the day! The Balsam Lake Lodge is the perfect venue, with the dinning room over looking the lake, the wonderful outdoor space, and the beautiful rooms on site for guests. We appreciate all the hard work Kelly and the Balsam Lake Team did to give us the prefect wedding day!

Absolutely loved our wedding at Balsam Lake Lodge! The vibe was perfect, and having hotel rooms right there was a game changer. The team made everything a breeze and went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect. Highly recommend this venue!

We enjoyed this venue for our wedding. It originally appealed to us because my family has a cabin on the lake and there aren't many quality venues in the area outside of this one. Email responses were slow at times, but they got it done and surpassed our expectations the day of. I would recommend!

Choosing Balsam Lake Lodge for our wedding was the best decision we could have made. From the moment we took our tour with Courtney, we fell in love with the beauty and charm of the location. They made the planning process seamless and enjoyable. Our guests raved about the food. Having hotel rooms on the site was icing on the cake.. Very convenient for our out of town guests. They created the wedding of our dreams.
