Baltazar was such a pleasure to work with, he was super responsive and professional. He assisted us in the planning process and the music was a huge hit for our guests, every one of all ages was on dance floor. We also really enjoyed the Photo Booth. Highly recommend!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Baltazar over the course of a year planning our wedding. He is flexible, kind, and super accommodating, not to mention detail-oriented and a great entertainer. For the big day, everyone was on the dance floor (despite the humidity)! Baltazar's website we used to create our playlist and timeline was very easy to use. No matter what crazy instructions you have, Baltazar follows through on what you want. He was always readily available to talk to. Baltazar provides photo booth services as well and what a hit that was at our wedding! We ran out of film it was so popular with the guests. Also to our surprise, he had a photo book created with copies of every strip glued in with signatures/notes from our guests, as well as extra copies of the photos to keep (with more on their way to us by mail)! Way too kind and really shows what kind of character Baltazar is. Excited to see the digital copies soon too! We will miss working with Baltazar but with any luck, we will see him again at a future wedding. Highly recommend, 5 stars!

Baltazar made our wedding day so special! Everyone on the dance floor commented on how great the music was and how professional the DJ was. He took the time to personalize our reception by including personal anecdotes. We got the photo booth and I highly recommend it!

Baltazar really got the party started at our wedding! He went above and beyond to make the day special for us and for our guests. He even took the time to check in with us mid-wedding to ensure everything was going the way we wanted. Our guests also loved his magic mirror photo booth. We highly recommend Baltazar for any event!

He did a great job, everyone was very excited to have the jam scammer at the wedding😅 my very old-school, Italian family was very excited for the dance floor, but very picky… Baltazar was able to find a way to include everyone, even got compliments from all the aunts and uncles!

Baltazar was great and very easy to communicate with. We had both a DJ and photobooth. The photobooth was a hit and our DJ was Jimi, who was amazing. Jimi answered all my questions and everyone said how great he was and how awesome the music was. The dance floor was going all night. would 10/10 recommend!

He was amazing! We hired him for our Photo Booth at our wedding and it was a hit! All of our guests absolutely loved the Photo Booth and Baltazar. Our guests said he was incredibly kind and fun when helping with the photo booth. Also, love that he gave us options for the theme we wanted for the photo strip and back drop. He was attentive to what we were looking for. For instance, we bought a photo album for our guests to put their photo strips in, and he made sure they put them in the book before leaving the photo booth every time. Thank you again!!

Best part of the night was dancing on the dance floor! Can’t say enough good things about Baltazar and his team. Jimmi was fun, interactive and made it easy to enjoy the night. The dance floor was on 🔥. I have had to reschedule my wedding three times. Baltazar was thoughtful and understanding through the entire process. The photo booth was such a nice touch to the evening. It gave us a look on our guests we’re experiencing the evening. The set up was perfect, logo was beautiful. Thank you again for being our dj.

I have attended multiple weddings that Baltazar DJ'd and it is always a good time. His music selections and ability to read the audience always make for a very fun night full of dancing. I also love his "roasts" for bridal party entries. Recommended DJ for a fun night!

AWESOME!!! He had the party going before dinner even started. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. From beginning to end, he helped us plan with different suggestions for songs and answered any questions we had. He also has a photobooth which was fantastic! Everyone loved the photobooth and it comes with a guest book. Multiple pictures printed and sent right to your phone. Another friend has also already booked him for their wedding!

I've gone back and forth about writing this review because I do believe that everyone has the right to have an off day and that just might be what I experienced with Baltazar. I hired him and paid the extra $200 to ensure that I had him for my wedding and not one of his workers as this is something I read to do in reviews. I immediately got bad vibes as my bridal party and I were waiting to be announced when I heard him using this time to talk about his time on the radio and promote himself. Yes, I do think that DJs need to promote themselves to continue to get business, but the way he did it and used my wedding day to promote himself gave me a really bad vibe. I hired him as my DJ for my wedding based off a referral from my venue and the great reviews I read, not because he was a DJ on the radio 20 years ago. If you are a huge Baltazar fan, you would probably not have been bothered by this, but personally I did not know who he was on the radio as I was very young during this time. It was then after my wedding, I heard from many of my guests, including my father, that he was rude to them and did not play requested songs. This is something I specified with him was 100% allowed, as he did check with me prior if I was okay with guests making requests. One situation that occurred was after one of my flower girls talked briefly in the microphone, it was asked by one of my bridesmaids if the other flower girl could also say something to myself and husband on the microphone, in which Baltazar responded "ya, not going to happen". He did come back to try to explain his reasoning as to why she couldn't talk to talk on the microphone but I still find this extremely rude in his initial response, especially after he saw how happy and special it was to me that my other flower girl spoke in the microphone. I am also extremely frustrated by the lack of effort that was put into the photo booth photo book. I explained to Baltazar that I would be using this as my guestbook and asked that his assistant who would be working the photo booth to encourage people to sign the book after their time in the photo booth. The next day when I saw that only about 10 people signed it I was extremely upset. I later found out by a lot of my guests that they didn't even know their was a book to sign and they were never told by the attendant. Keep this in mind if you plan to do something similar with the photo booth. Again, I do believe no one is perfect and everyone has their moments. But I do think my experience with Baltazar was important to note for people to be aware. On a positive note, he has a variety of enhancements to be added such a monogram, uplighting, and photo booth for little to no cost. He was very reasonable with his pricing and worked with us to stay within budget. His online system is great and allows for everything to be organized.

If we could give Baltazar 10 stars we would! He was a breeze to work with and was even more accommodating when we needed to move our original wedding date from May 2020 to October 2020. He played the BEST music and the planning tool (online) makes picking music a breeze. We also had the mirror Photo Booth, which is amazing and worth the money - all of our guests loved it! Baltazar answered any and all questions we had when we first started planning in 2019 and was super quick to respond when I had follow-up items for him. He definitely kept the dance floor packed all night and we would 100% hire him again! (And likely will when we can have the larger wedding we had planned for before COVID!) Don't look else where - Baltazar is your guy!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Baltazar is AMAZING! From start to finish, he was super helpful every step of the way. He is effective and timely in communication, and always helps you with any questions you have. His online planning portal is such a great tool, although we opted to just let him read the crowd, and he did so perfectly! We also had him do our ceremony music, which was also perfection. Every meeting we had before, he catered to us and our location, and boy did we have many laughs along the way!! Such a great guy! The way he did our bridal party introductions had us in stitches, such a nice touch with his clever wit! We also had the photo booth which was such a hit among everyone, and he gave us a wonderful surprise at the end from it. I can not recommend him enough!!!! We are so glad we chose him for our special day!

You NEED Baltazar at your wedding. From day one of the planning process he was super responsive and made sure that our wedding was personal for us. He met with us in Braintree, asked great questions and took notes on everything. Everyone came up to us and said he was so funny, played music TAILORED to us, and made our night one to remember! We can't thank him enough!! And on top of all this he's super affordable!! I would recommend him over and over again! He made our wedding super memorable for us and all of our guests! This was the third wedding he had done for our friend group and he just keeps getting better. HIRE THIS MAN!

Baltazar was absolutely incredible from start to finish!! LOVED the online portal to assist the bride and groom in the details, and the online photo booth album! Baltazar was funny and attentive and enjoyed making it personal for us. He's everything you want and more!! Wonderful person and excellent at what he does!!! Excellent communication, professional and just a pleasure to work with!!!

Baltazar was a great hit at our wedding. Being a radio DJ, I knew he could handle everything we needed. The planning website allowed me to choose songs I wanted to hear, and songs I didn't. He was super accommodating with meeting up and I had confidence in his ability to keep the crowd dancing. Everything went so smoothly and the addition of the starlit curtain he offered made our wedding (and the pictures that came with it!) all the more magical. Thank you Baltazar!

We booked Baltazar for our October wedding, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. From the get go Baltazar was responsive, creative and truly passionate about making our visions come to life. He took the time to get to know everyone in the bridal party and it showed during our bridal party introductions. He was very responsive and intuitive during the dancing and truly knew how to play to a diverse crowd! He kept everyone dancing all night long. Look no further, book Baltazar for your wedding and prepare to have an amazing time!!

Poor communication from the start from Baltazar himself: • Convinced us to use his services by giving us his off-season rate. Explained he would let us know no later than 3 months prior to wedding if we would have him or one of his associates. Let us know 43 DAYS BEFORE that we would have his associate. So he breeched contract. Told us it was due a “family event’ although we found out he was hosting at another wedding. The review for that wedding is online, which is how we found out. He knew a year in advance by what the review said. • Provided me with a number to text him. Turned out to be a landline. • Wouldn’t respond to my emails. Told me to check my spam (they weren’t there). • Told me he didn’t receive initial deposit. After 2 months of him saying this I had to pay to track it down. Found out his wife cashed it less than a week after I sent it. His response was “my bad.” Said he would reimburse me for it. Never did. • His assistant was HORRIBLE. Didn’t know most of the songs we provided him with, mispronounced some of the names of the bridal party (despite him going over that with us quite a few times). Kept trying to convince us to “play games” at the wedding when we made it clear we didn’t want to. We provided him with a song list and specified which ones to definitely play. He only played some of them. Baltazar did give us a free photobooth in exchange for his absence. However, this doesn’t make up for the fact that he convinced us to use his service, had us believing we would be having HIM as our DJ as he failed to communicate on that, and then lying by saying he had a family event when it was really because he had another wedding and most likely was getting paid a lot more to perform at that one. I know several people getting married this year whom are not going to bother using his services.

Baltazar is amazing! He is so great at what he does and such a nice, down-to-earth person. We live in New Jersey and got married in Boston, so we never had time to meet with Baltazar before the wedding. Having grown up in Massachusetts, I knew Baltazar from the radio and was so pumped when he told us he was available on our wedding day! We were able to facetime with him and he answered every email and text right away. We really felt like we were in good hands, and we were. A couple of weeks before the wedding, we spoke again and went over some questions about our timeline and final details for the day. We gave Baltazar a little bit of information about our family and friends and he took over from there. I think he moonlights as a psychologist because he was able to come up with unique and personalized introductions for everyone despite only hearing a brief description from us. We met Baltazar for the first time on our wedding day, and it was like we already knew him. He kept us on schedule and did his job flawlessly with absolutely no help from us. I couldn't believe how well he knew us and understood our wedding vision. It was like he could read our minds. His photobooth was awesome too! It was a huge hit and it and gave us the opportunity to collect photos of our guests. At the end of the night, Baltazar gave us an album of our guests' photos along with hand-written notes. It was way better than our guest book and we will cherish it forever. He did a great job with our lighting, too. He gave us the starry night effect we were looking for and this, along with the monogram he had shining behind the sweetheart table, really completed our vision for the evening. Baltazar did so much for us and his price was so reasonable. We couldn't have chosen a better DJ, not to mention the photobooth and lighting services. We don't know how to thank him. We really got lucky! I highly recommend his services, you will not be disappointed!!

DJ Baltazar was amazing before and after the wedding. He was very accommodating with any requests and personalized items we wanted and made sure that everything was perfect and well executed. He was very professional, fun, engaging, and kept the party going all night. We were living in Texas and booked Baltazar purely on his reviews, and I can tell you that he exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend him for your wedding or any events!

Baltazar is the best to work with!! He is organized and makes your day feel special!! He lets you choose the songs you want, and asks how you want everyone addressed at the reception. He called my husband and I one night because our work schedules were crazy to discuss our big day, and he came up with a funny line to introduce each bridesmaid and groomsmen as they came out. We booked Baltazar for our wedding and could not have been happier with the choice. From the first text exchange he was incredible. Our first meeting with him and we were sold that this was who we wanted. Not only are his prices competitive (even less than some other DJs) his professionalism is second to none. Working with him was great - he provided outside ceremony music, cocktail hour music and the reception music - all included in the price. We also got our photobooth through him. I have never seen a photobooth used so much at a wedding. He provided us with a flash drive of all the pictures and made a photo book of all the pictures. It was such a nice gift. Baltazar arrived early to set everything up, he coordinated with our officiant and our venue flawlessly. He really knows how to read the crowd and had the entire dancefloor packed all night. Throughout the night he would come up to us and ask if he could change a couple things up - we said sure thing - he is the professional. I highly recommend Baltazar - you will not be disappointed. We were so pleased with the music played on the evening of our wedding. Everything was just how we planned. Trying to get questions answered ahead of time was difficult. We would send an email with multiple questions and then just get a generic response that did not answer our questions. Other than that, we were very pleased.

Having Baltazar Entertainment at our wedding 8/18/18 at the Nantasket Beach Resort was one of the best decisions we made! Baltazar not only kept the crowd entertained from start to finish but the music selection kept the dance floor going until the end of the night. The photo booth, uplighting and our own personal monogram were all also amazing and personalized to our wedding. We highly recommend this company!

In the beginning working with Baltazar he was great and worked with my budget and had a contract ready to go within two weeks of me contacting him. He did say he would have one of his employees DJ my wedding. Getting closer to my wedding found out the amateur DJ we got notice of about 3 weeks before the wedding was a lower budget DJ and if I hired him directly I would have paid less money and actually got what I paid for (you will read later in this). Kind of disheartening. We had issues when we paid in full to the Baltazar almost like he didn’t want to do the wedding after he got paid. It was a run around and lack of communication as well as lack of professionalism the week up till the wedding. Now let’s get to the wedding night. Dj Omari was used was not very responsive and was not engaging to the crowd. He did not use the playlist we gave him, only a select few of the songs. He didn’t follow the time time line after the parent dances. I had to get everyone ready for the garder and bouquet toss which happened 30 minutes after planned. He didn’t inform the crowd about the cake. It was a mess. He was texting a majority of the time and it’s shown in a lot of the pictures taken. It was very upsetting. Then when he was packing up my maid of honor thanked him and he gave her a major attitude.

I cannot say enough good things about Baltazar! I heard about Baltazar through my hairdresser and after researching I knew that he would be the one we picked for our wedding. Baltazar did an amazing job DJing our wedding especially considering we had a day wedding which can make it difficult to get guests moving. That was not a problem for Baltazar! He had a perfect mix of oldies and new age music that please all ages and had everyone on the dance floor. We opted for the photo booth and I am so happy that we did. Baltazar was stationed at the booth and assisting guests not only with using the photo booth but also gluing their picture strips to our guest book and making sure guests signed it! He even had the photo booth pictures uploaded to facebook two days later. Baltazar made the booking and planning process super easy and he was so patient with me when I was undecisive about song choices. I would recommended Baltazar for any couple looking to have a blast as their wedding!

We rented a photo booth for our wedding and it was a big hit! Everyone loved taking pictures and it was used throughout the entire reception. Baltazar was awesome to work with, was very reasonable with pricing, and provided both high resolution copies of all the photos as well as hard copies signed by all of our guests. We couldn't have been happier and would highly recommend Baltazar to anyone looking for a photo booth!

Baltazar was amazing from start to finish! We met in person at a convenient location to review the needs of my husband and I for our reception. Everything was customized from the timing, the slide show of our wedding ceremony the week before, the uplighting, the music, and even the strips on the photo booth were customized to match my wedding invitations. He really took time to get to know us, what our music taste was, and what type of environment we were looking for. I would recommend him to ANYONE. He took time, was patient, and accommodated all of our needs. We gave him 2 days with pictures from our ceremony which was the weekend before the reception and he created a beautiful slideshow. The custom photo booth strips were not necessary but so very appreciated. All people have talked to me about was how awesome the music was. He not only met, he exceeded my expectations. I have never planned a wedding reception. He was very helpful and answered tons of questions along the way. He was fast to respond. I can't say enough. If I could give 10 stars I would. BALTAZAR IS AMAZING!

Salt from Mix 104.1 MC'd our wedding and was absolutely PHENOMENAL. He had the perfect mix of humor and made all of our guests feel really comfortable. He Facetimed with us prior to the event and really got a feel for our personalities and made sure to bring us out of our shells at the reception. Working with him was seamless. The package is an absolute STEAL from other boston area DJs. Same duration; you get an MC and a DJ, and a bajillion uplights (about twice the amount of every other company we found). On the day of, they even cleverly placed the uplights along these arches in the venue and made the entire place glow - it was amazing. We originally booked with Baltazar entertainment at the recommendation of a med school classmate who had Salt and DJ Lawrence who she said was amazing. We found out the day of that DJ Nate would be the DJ for the wedding - no problem as we hadn't met with either of them and figured he would be just as good. He was very nice, punctual and professional. However, my husband and I really love music and from the list that we provided and were excited to dance to....DJ Nate turned them into covers by other artists and played them during the dinner - so not only did we not get to dance to some of our favorite songs but they weren't even by the artist that we liked. From there it took a strange turn with a lot of oldies (we are in our late 20s so songs from the 70s don't quite resonate). THAT BEING SAID - our guests absolutely loved him and never left the dance floor so maybe he was just reading the crowd. Overall they were really great and really reasonably priced. I just wish that we had made the effort to meet one-on-one with the exact DJ beforehand.

Baltazar was our DJ for our wedding this past sunday. He is funny, charismatic, and knows what he's doing. He played awesome music and stuck pretty well to the timeline of the event. He also did uplighting which was beautiful! Definitely recommend him to anyone. It was a great time! Not to mention he was the most reasonably priced out of all the DJs we contacted. Call him now!!

Baltazar was the best! When planning a wedding the DJ is key, you want to have someone who will keep your guests on their feet partying and engaged, and he did it with ease! We were so happy to have booked him and his company as we were able to put the entertainment on cruise control with a professional up there. He was so easy to work with and very flexible with everything and growing up hearing him on the radio made the night even better to have him there in person at our Wedding!

We booked Baltazar for our reception music and photo booth and words cannot express how happy I am that we did! Baltazar was absolutely wonderful to work with - he is incredibly responsive and overall just amazing at what he does. A planning site was available so I was able to create an organized list of what music I wanted as well as what I didn't want. The photo booth was also a HUGE hit - Baltazar created custom wedding hashtag props and we received a physical album and usb with every picture taken as well as an album on Facebook. I received dozens of compliments from guests about how impressed they were with Baltazar - the dance floor was packed the entire night!

Baltazar is a fantastic DJ, and a great announcer for a wedding! He was super easy to work with and fun to be around. Their website allows you to add songs you want to be played at the wedding, which is super convenient and easy. Throughout the wedding he did a great job keeping people dancing, and everyone (from my 12 year old cousins to my 80 year old great aunts) kept saying what a great playlist we had! Using the same company for the DJ, uplighting, and photo booth also made planning less stressful, as it was all taken care of in one package. I highly recommend Baltazar Entertainment!

Working with Baltazar was amazing and highly recommended! From the moment we met with him to the last song of our wedding, he was the most amazing, professional, funny and best DJ we have ever seen! We are still getting feedback from our family and friends on the work he did and how great it was to hear his voice again! Our favorite feature in working with him was a music selection site where we could go on and plug in songs we wanted played, and also list different words to be played before these songs (ex: "this is going out to the Bride's cousins"). The feature also allowed us to input songs we didn't want played! His up lighting was tastefully classic, it made our ballroom look amazing and also elegant. We enjoyed the photo booth as much as our guests did! We love being able to go back and look at ALL of the pictures taken. Baltazar is the MAN and is strongly recommended for your next event!

Baltazar was beyond amazing! I was originally wanting a band, but as soon as I saw his name while browsing through vendors, I instantly remembered him from the radio. Who wouldn't want Baltazar to DJ their wedding?! He was one of our best decisions! He helps with the whole process of choosing songs and is always around when you need to meet or talk/text. He even has amazing photobooth options. He went above and beyond with our requests and everyone loved him. Dance floor was nonstop and he was definitely a key factor in our perfect wedding. Baltazar Entertainment did hands down, an AMAZING job! Everything was perfect and on point beginning with our ceremony down to the very end of the reception.He helped everything run smoothly and on time. We had the most beautiful uplighting and monogram, the photo booth with tons of fun props, and the music was on point from beginning to end. He kept our guest entertained and added humor which was perfect for our atmosphere and tough crowd.Baltazar was so helpful as I was totally clueless and scatter brained figuring out all these little details. After my husband and I met with him I left feeling confident and a huge weight off my shoulders knowing we had definitely went with the right choice. I knew he was going to bring everything together as the music and the dj can most definitely set the whole tone. All the music was exactly on point. He read the crowd beautifully and played music that kept the dance floor packed all night long. :) People are still telling us how much fun our wedding was! Baltazar is great to work with. So responsive and timely to any emails I had (which were a lot). It truly meant a lot knowing I had someone who I knew would get back to me in a timely manner and was very reassuring and kind. We had uplighting and a monogram which looked fantastic. And all our guests were on the dance floor which was great! The music definitely made the wedding such a hit. I would definitely recommend!

Best wedding DJ evah! This was one of the first vendors I booked when planning my Fenway dream wedding. I have loved listening to Balthazar on the radio for years and couldn't believe I could book him for my wedding. He did an amazing job incorporating my theme into the entire event from the logos , the uplighting , to the personalized photo both ticket strips. I appreciate how he worked with my quirky requests and made sure my guests had a great time. Everyone loved all the small details! He defiantly knocked this Fenway wedding out of the park! All my guest were dancing it was an epic evening. With all of his services it was worth every penny!

Having a good DJ is the key to having a fun and successful wedding reception. In searching for a wedding DJ on the Knot, Baltazar showed up on the bottom of the search page as someone I may like… in my head I wondered if this was the radio DJ I had listened to on Jamn 94.5 growing up. Turns out… it was! I had no idea he had a wedding business now! I quickly reached out to him and he responded almost instantly with various packages and pricing. He agreed to meet me and my now husband in Burlington as he did not want us to sit in 93 South traffic haha! He was so personable and cool from the moment we met him. It honestly felt like we had known him for years. He greeted us with a huge smile and made us feel very comfortable. His personality meshed perfectly with ours. In our meeting, Baltazar showed us how to work his planning page (so easy and such a great idea), went over all the “extras” we could have, and showed us pictures of his uplighting and monograms. We were so on board with everything Baltazar had to offer. His prices were beyond reasonable. We got more than what other companies offered for like ½ the price. We knew that this was someone we HAD to have as our DJ. I mean, how cool is it to have a DJ that all of our friends and family listened to on the radio as kids?! It was basically like having a celebrity! However, Baltazar is so down to earth and his prices are so affordable that you would never know that he is pretty well known in the Boston area. Baltazar was always readily available via email. He handled all my crazy questions day after day without an issue. He answered them all and assured me that everything was going to be perfect We used Baltazar for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We used his uplights, monogram, and photo booth as well. The uplights were well placed, the monogram on the tent looked stellar, and the photobooth was full all night. The photobooth pictures were given to us both in a memory book, placed on Facebook, AND mailed to us within 2 days on a flash drive. Unheard of. Now the reception can be summed up in one word -- WOW. Baltazar is a true professional. His experience allows him to know how to read a crowd without missing a beat. The dance floor was full ALL NIGHT. It was hard to even walk from one side to the other at one point. It was a legit dance party. With half of our crowd being Puerto Rican, Baltazar mixed in some popular Spanish songs with ease. There was never a moment where people sat down to take break – the flow of songs was incredible. For example, my grandmother requested a slow Frank Sinatra song. Everyone danced, then he bumped up the next song to a medium beat to get people moving again, and then was back to full out dance party. He was great about playing some crazy requests like my love for *NSYNC and early 00s music! I cannot say enough good things about Baltazar and his company. I honestly want to just have another party and hire Baltazar as the DJ because he was that great! My friends have commented that they wished Baltazar was their DJ and posted on Facebook saying it was the best playlist to a wedding… EVER. We have been told that our wedding was one of the most fun they have ever attended and I know that Baltazar is the reason for that. Booking a DJ is a huge decision and probably the most important part of our wedding. I would highly suggest booking Baltazar; you won’t be disappointed.

Baltazar was great! He kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. I can honestly admit I wasn't the most organized at times, but he had some great suggestions as far as introductions and song choices, which definitely helped! All my guests loved the photo booth and all the props provided! I would definitely recommend to everyone!

We hired Baltazar for our photo booth at our wedding and I highly recommend them. The props were amazing! So much better than the cheesy props that I have seen at other weddings. My guests loved it!
