She explained the entire process so clearly, she was patient, and the fact that she’s bilingual made communication seamless for me, my family, and the resort. Even though my wedding isn’t until July 2026, I already feel incredibly supported and taken care of. Their entire team has been amazing. Whenever I email their groups inbox, I get a response quickly, and they even have a hotline where my guests or I can call and speak with someone directly. That alone gives so much peace of mind. Barefoot Bridal also built a custom website for my guests where they can easily book their room, upload their travel details for transportation, and view their invoices all in one place. On top of that, we have our own special login where we can see exactly who has booked so far, how many nights they’re staying, and what type of room they chose. It’s incredibly organized. What I love most is that I feel in control, fully aware of every detail — yet Barefoot Bridal is the one doing all of the heavy lifting behind the scenes. They’ve made destination-wedding planning not only stress-free, but truly enjoyable. I am so grateful I found Diana and the Barefoot Bridal team right before I was about to give up. If you’re planning a destination wedding, I cannot recommend them enough. Their professionalism, warmth, and system of support have already exceeded every expectation — and the wedding hasn’t even happened yet.

ed to Barefoot bridal by a coworking who was also planning their destination wedding. My husband and I wanted a tropical wedding, and I wanted it in a gazebo. Those were the two big factors for us. On our first phone call with Sharon, we went over our dream wedding details and our budget and she worked her magic with location options. We were looking to have the wedding in Dominican Republic August 2025. Sharon gave us the pricing and had us think about any other locations that did not have a hurricane season. She brought up Curacao. Not knowing where Curacao was, we looked at what she sent us and fell in love with Dreams Curacao Resort Spa & Casino. From there details and room blocks were easy. Sharon took care of everything and was so quick to answer emails I sent. Dreams the resort, was nice. Not a super fancy resort but it was quite low key and perfect for what we were looking for. The staff were very nice and helpful. The wedding coordinator who helped me in the process was great. He would take a little longer to get back to my emails during some points but nothing that stressed me out. Sometimes details get lost in email and if that was the case Sharon was quick to reply with the answer and would resent the initial email. That was amazing. Everything we had in mind for our wedding came true. We were able to add everything and more. Every detail came out exactly how I pictured and more. I was truly blown away on how everything came together perfectly. I DIYed a few things and the resort and coordinator were great in setting everything up how I wanted and never complained or gave me any issues. The day of the wedding went so smoothly I was surprised. The hair and makeup people were ready and on time knocking on my room door. They were fast and were able to take care of my whole wedding party and our moms. The wedding coordinator kept checking on myself and my husband throughout the morning and having room service drop off fruits, dessert and champagne. The photographer was on time and on point as well. 15 Minutes before our ceremony in the gazebo, it started to pour down rain. The coordinator came to check on me and said once the rain stopped, he was personally going to go dry all the seats. Him and the staff did such a great job drying everything off including mopping up puddles through the resort. By the time I went down, I couldn’t tell it rained. The rest of the night was perfect. Everything went as I wanted and planned.  I truly felt like a princess. The food at the resort was good and they had a lot of options. The rooms were nice and clean. I had no issues. The overall staff was amazing to all my guests and myself. We were treated so well. The suite we had during our stay was beautiful and had an amazing view. Overall, the planning process is always a little stressful but working with barefoot bridal eased my stress to much. The reservations’ part was taken care of, my guests could email them for questions or to adjust their stays and I didn’t have to worry. The experience and professionalism they have to make sure you get everything you want on your special day is amazing. They work hard to make sure you get everything you want for your special day.

The booking process was easy thanks to the personalized website they created for our group, and they handled all travel-related communications with our guests. I never needed to get involved except for following up with a few guests about submitting their flight information for airport transfers, which is completely understandable. This definitely made my life easier during the wedding planning process! Before our trip, they sent us and our guests a guide to our resort along with our travel documents, which was a nice touch. I even received a cute gift package, and we received some awesome concessions such as cash back and free flights. All this about a week before we were departing and I didn't have to stress a second over it! I love that our guests got emails when they submitted their bookings and got invoices once their rooms were confirmed and I got a copy so I knew who was booking. They're super helpful and free, I highly recommend booking with Barefoot Bridal - make sure to ask for Sharon!

When they weren't responsive, she jumped in and got them to email me back quickly. Her team helped all our guests book, which they could do online on the website she created for us. It was all soooo very easy and I couldn't have done it without her. She was always so quick to respond, so informative, and helpful. Plus, we got an amazing gift before we left with a tumbler for me and a bunch of "Mrs." stuff to help me get excited, and I was very excited! They know what they're doing and I loved having Sharon as my specialist.
