Ordering wedding stationery from Basic Invite was very easy. They have several templates and color schemes to choose from, as well as an online tool that lets you type in your text so you can see what your stationery will look like. We ordered save-the-dates, invitations, and thank you cards. They were all beautiful and professional looking, and very reasonably priced.

We used basic invite for our save the date and they came out great!! They were magnetic and everyone loved them as they went on the fridge easily 🙂 The ordering process was very simple, we’ll definitely be using them for future endeavors!

My photography package includes thank you cards, but if they didn't I would totally use basic invite again for them.

I looked at ten or fifteen invitation suites and this was by far my favorite. So easy to customize exactly what I wanted!

I loved using Basic Invite for my invitations! I was able to customize so much and feel like they were really "my" design. The quality was good, they came on time, and it was very reasonable compared to many other options.

While they have great designs - DO NOT GET FOIL. We ordered invites with gold foil, and they looked great online and on the sample. The problem is, when they package the bulk invites the foil stains on the back of the one in front. This left our invites and our RSVP cards with a stain (that looked like a coffee stain). We requested a reprint, as the company assured it was a printing issue, but the issue still persisted. When we asked if they could package our cards differently we were told “that’s not our protocol”. We are currently sending back the invites for a refund - they will not pay for the shipping back either. Very very disappointed in this company. Please avoid ordering from Basic Invite, they are not flexible with customers and have poor packaging practices.

We ordered our save the dates and invitations from here and they were amazing. We had issues with our invitations and after speaking with a great supervisor at customer service they ended up sending us a whole new order of invitations. They rushed our second set and even emailed to make sure we were happy when they came. We loved how everything was easily customizable and the pricing was very fair. Their online platform is easy to use. 10/10

At Basic Invite, I was able to design the most beautiful invitations. I receive tons of complements from my guests about how gorgeous they were. Everything is customizable from fonts to colors/foil to paper type. Their customer service is very responsive! I was able to ask questions in real time on the website and via email. Their prices are competitive and well worth the quality and service I received. They give you a private link for your guests to fill out and then print all the address for you. I used the same address book for my thank you cards as well. It has saved my so much time. I could not recommend them more!

We ordered our wedding invitation suite through basic invite at the suggestion of our friends who were married a few months before us. We paid to rush the shipping, as we wanted to address and send the invitations while visiting my parents. Unfortunately, our shipment was lost in transit by FedEx. Basic Invite was very helpful when I contacted them, refunding the rush fee (as they didn’t arrive when promised) and offering to reprint if the shipment didn’t arrive. Luckily, FedEx did deliver eventually (2 days late!). We uploaded a custom design and it printed just as displayed online, with high quality paper and sharp and clear colors. Overall, a great experience with excellent customer service!

Sample was perfect. Order over 100 and they simply didn't finish the order. Called to complain and they gave us a $13 refund on an almost $400 order.

I did not get my invitations done on time because they ran out of material without telling me. I had to find out by calling them and asking where the invitations were!

Oh my word I’m obsessed!! I’ve been blown away by basic invite. From the user friendliness of their website, customization, price, quality, and they came wicked fast in the mail! AND THEY LOOK SO GOOD! Highly highly recommend basic invite to every bride!!

I am honestly incredibly disappointed with my wedding invitations. The original round of them were cut very crooked with half my lettering off, which they did take responsibility and fix. But then looking at them more. The foiling is awful. It’s poorly done on multiple invitations, half the foiled writing black and all the other little cards I added are the most noticeable with the poor foiling job.. For the very expensive price ..$700. I would have expected them to be done correctly, and time to be taken. Not worth the money here.

I ordered my thank you cards from Basic Invite. You can't write on them in any ink without it smearing or stopping the pen. My cards are a complete mess. I tried ballpoint, gel, and ultimately had to resign to pencil. All the pens I tried worked on regular paper, but there is something about the card material that does not allow the ink to flow freely. My cards look like a toddler smeared ink all around them. I'm so upset I'm likely going to buy new thank you cards from another company. This was a complete waste of money.

We ordered invitations, response cards, and belly bands through Basic Invite. It was super easy to customize the design to look exactly how I wanted and with my wedding colors in mind. We added a photo onto the back of the invite and it printed beautifully. There are tons of options to choose from to find something you like and they have sales fairly often so if you watch for the sales you can get decent prices!

Basic Invite's core business is to print cards and I was sent 70 blank Save the Dates - It is completely unacceptable to receive blank save the dates, especially when my text was in the approved proofs. I got no apology from them and no adequate resolution suggestion. They just offered me a partial refund.

I absolutely loved the idea of their invitation-and-response all on one card idea. I hate wasting paper, not to mention the cost of traditional invitations with all of their extra pieces! These were beautiful, reasonably priced, and they worked just as I wanted them to. I only had two issues with these invitations. The sealing sticker would rip the invitation when you opened it. Because they include clear stickers to further secure the card, use a different adhesive that won’t damage the paper. Also, not everyone remembered to write their name on the RSVP and I ended up with several who accepted but I didn’t know who it was from. Perhaps there was a way to have their name pre-printed on the RSVP card that I missed, but that would have helped a lot. Overall, I was very happy with my decision to use these unique cards.

Wedding invitations were one of those things I didn't think I cared about, but I ended up hating nearly everything I saw. My husband and I used Basic Invite for our Save the Dates, our Move the Dates, and then our Oh Crap We Need to Move the Date Agains. Since we were in control it allowed us to have a little bit of fun. We also used Basic Invite for our wedding invitations. I had no idea there were so many different types of script, but Basic Invite had them all. It is really great that there is an option to have a professional look over the invitations before you send them since the design tools leave a little bit to be desired. While not the easiest website to work with, Basic Invite was still fast and easy.

I ordered invitations to arrive on September 3rd and they came incorrect due to an error on their part. The company was quick to send another order and they came wrong again. I’m still waiting on the 3rd shipment of my invites and I’m hoping they are printed correctly this time.

Basic Invite was recommended to us by our photographer - and now we see why! We used Basic Invite for our Save the Dates, Invitations, Thank Yous, Place Cards, and anything else you can think of! We wanted a nautical theme and Basic Invite allowed us to use that theme for our wedding - with such elegant designs. We eloped and used Basic Invite this year to make a Christmas Card/Wedding Announcement. The quality of the product was outstanding, and at a much more reasonable price then some of their competitors. (My sister called me and accused me of spending a small fortune, when I was actually UNDER budget). Most importantly, the customer service was impeccable. My cards were sent earlier than the were supposed to be, and all my questions were answered swiftly by someone who was super helpful.

Great quality, but ridiculous shipping rates. You would think with spending over $500 on invitations, place cards, etc. that they would have free shipping..

Amazing customer service. We had placed a last minute order for place cards for our wedding. I emailed them about our time restraint, they responded very timely with an honest accurate description of what they could accomplish to help us. While they did it guarantee our order would make it on time they followed up with another email once our cards were printed, then shipped, then another when they saw they had been delivered. Total turnaround time was under 2 days. Ordered on Sunday received Tuesday afternoon. International shipment no less. Cards were perfect. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a place that would print the addresses for you, as I had a large guest list. Basic Invite made it so easy to upload your address list, and addressed the envelopes for FREE. They almost always have sales going on and their prices are the best I found. We did a magnet save-the-date (which only need one stamp for mailing!) and a traditional invitation. You can find a template that works best for you and can edit every little detail of those templates--i'm talking the color of each and every line! DO NOT overpay for bigger name places...this is the place to get your invitations.

I needed change the date cards quickly. Of course, bigger companies closer to me could have faster shipping. But I really wanted a specific kind of card that only this company had for a great price. I still got them in 5 days so I’m happy with the shipping and the quality of product. Plus I was able to get printed envelopes for no extra cost. I found my experience with Basic Invite to be fun and stress free. I ordered a sample prior to placing my order to make sure I would be satisfied with the product. Because I ordered a sample, I was given a 20% discount code for my entire order. My order was delivered super quick. I was disappointed upon opening my package when I realized they had sent the wrong envelopes, even though I had ordered and paid extra for a certain color. I sent an Order Trouble message as soon as I got my package, and they answered within minutes. I sent in a few pictures of the envelopes I had received, and the customer service rep promptly responded to assure me that the correct envelopes would be delivered. I received an email not long after that confirming that they were queued to print. Excellent service and quick response time and I'm really happy with the product.

Ordered my save the dates on 2/15 and received the box on 2/21. When I received the box it was just the envelopes and no save the date magnets. I called that day and spoke to a really nice girl and she said she was going to get them reprinted and rush shipped. 3 days later I never got them and the website only said printed not shipped. So I called again and spoke to someone else and they informed me that they do not do rush or over night shipping and would have to contact her manager to find out where my save the dates were. I still have not heard back from anyone and it seems like I am not the first person to have this problem. Another user..... Basic Invite was an excellent choice for us. I loved being able to adapt the designs and colors to our wedding vision, and it was a very affordable option. We used their invitations, inner and outer envelopes, colored envelope liners, and registry cards (we changed it to say “details” with our website URL), as well as thank you cards. Basic Invite made it simple and our orders arrived earlier than expected for both our sample and final order.

I just received the save the date magnets I ordered from their website several weeks ago. Many of the magnets are completely not usable. The ink from the printed pictures was clearly not allowed to dry before they packaged the items, so the picture ink runs into the white background. There are also brown spots on the white background of many magnets. Finally, some the foil on the magnets is already chipping off. I have over 40 unusable magnets in a batch of 125. Greatly disappointing when I spent over $300 on these magnets.

This site is great!! We used this for our wedding for everything but the save-the-dates: Invites, reply cards, direction cards, programs, place cards, thank-you's and even website. I love the ability to pretty much fully edit their designs, and they are one of the few sites where you can take the logo off the printed items. Their chat feature is great, and you are talking to a live, knowledgeable person - I used this feature a few times. Their turn around/delivery time was always quicker than anticipated, which was a nice surprise!

I loved having the ability to design my own custom invitations, but they were hard to work with and the website was overall confusing. For a sample, I ordered an ivory colored invitation, and an ivory colored envelope, but they definitely weren't the same shade of ivory when I got them. They were practically different colors! I ordered more samples and when they came it was difficult to distinguish which color was which. They were similar in color, but not labeled in any way so you would know which one was "ecru" and which one was "haze." When I was designing what would be my final order, it appeared as though I would be ordering a customized envelope (in a gray color), but received the default white envelopes instead. This is one of those instances where my invitations turned out to be "good enough," but the whole experience was confusing and might be worth the effort for other brides.

Our wedding colors were yellow and white, which apparently aren’t very popular as there were very few options for stationary in that color palette and none that fit the feel of our wedding... until I found Basic Invite! I was able to choose from hundreds of styles and completely customize everything from wording and font to color and design on my own for now additional cost. I ordered a sample of my personalized invites and loved the quality, but there was a printing error so I contacted customer service and they resolved the issue immediately. I used their online address book to collect guests’ contact info and was able to have their addresses printed for free when I ordered my invitations. My order arrived very quickly and I’m so happy with how well the stationary turned out; it’s exactly what I wanted because I could design it myself! I look forward to ordering my Christmas cards from them soon!

They allow you to customize with whatever you want to do with your design and even allow you to order a sample of an idea before you think about getting the full order. I ordered the raised gold foil Caribbean Palm wedding invitations with the matching RSVP cards and stickers as well as a set of Save the Date cards from Basic Invite and I am so impressed with the quality of the product and how beautiful my cards look. The website was very easy to use and allows you to customize practically every single aspect of your cards (the color, position, etc). I don't know of any other invitation vendor that allows you to customize to the level that Basic Invite does. The raised gold foil looked absolutely stunning. The invite was printed on thick, luxurious cardstock. I would highly recommend Basic Invite for brides that want very personalized, unique invitations at a great price.

this is not for a wedding, but i just wanted to share my experience. i ordered graduation invites and when they arrived they had dirt all over them. i sent them an email and asked them to please reprint them as they are dirty. They reprinted them for me, but when the reprints arrived they were different from the ones i originally ordered.. (the original colors of letters were yellow and they changed them to black.. they also watermarked it when the original did not have a watermark) the service is good, but definitely not worth $70 for 25 grad cards. really dissatisfied and i wish i ordered from somewhere else.

I searched other sites for invitations I loved for weeks. Finally I found Basic Invite. Their clear invitations were so elegant and different that I fell in love instantly. And they had rsvp cards to match. They were such a joy to work with! I highly recommend using Basic Invite for any wedding related stationary.

Got our first batch of invites but some the ones with names and addresses on the back were misprinted ( address wasn’t printed). Contacted shop and told them about mistake expecting them to send misprinted cards but instead they resent blanks but the blanks were printed poorly and the text was misaligned. Just kind of gave up on getting quality cards after this point. Also when our guests send back their invite card we realized there was no place for them to put their name so it was a guessing game.

Dealing with this company enraged me to a level I never knew… Like I love her so much and on such a primal level that just half tears in her eyes. We ordered our save the dates through this company. Being the life-long procrastinators we have chosen to be admittedly we sat on this longer than need be. So we Paid extra for the faster shipping. Of course she goes to check on it first … But the tracking number we received was not working. Called customer service and TREVOR explained that somehow our save the dates were lost!! Something about the post office not scanning the box. Part of me felt like they just forgot to put the box in the mail. None of that mattered though. We NEED these save the dates ASAP. He assured us he was print us new ones and they would be shipped out immediately and they would refund me The extra shipping cost. I lightheartedly say don’t worried about refunding the money we will pay more to get same day shipping. Apparently they can’t do same day shipping. The next morning the original package mysteriously gets an update on the tracking number. Then we get an email. They TOO have noticed movement on the package and now will WAIT and see before they send a new set. Um...No. We explain to them that we could not afford to wait, which is why we paid extra for the shipping anyway. I asked again for Trevor. Another day goes by and we reach out again because we havent got a tracking number for the second batch. They tell us that it did not pass its quality control inspection and now they have to print a THIRD batch which would take another 3 days!!! They said the good news was that it looked like the original batch would be there the next day anyways.Honestly, it really felt like our original assumptions about them just forgetting to mail the first box was correct. And now they are dragging us along until it shows up so they don’t have to make a new box… I demanded to have this new batch made and shipped the same day because at this point we had wasted too much time to get a refund and go anywhere else. I demanded to speak to a higher up which i was denied. They assured me I would be getting my package that day and give me a full refund. Of course I had heard this three times already. I told them I would NOT get off the phone until my packing is literally in the hands of the postman and I get an email SAYING it was shipped. Not just being a dick about the situation but if we all remember in the beginning how this all started was them saying “the mail man must have forgotten to scan it…” So you will WAIT with me as I refresh until it says on the way. But I felt bad for the poor girl on the phone, syd I think her name was. So I said this is Trevors fault put his ass on the phone. I then tell her if I have to call back for him the civility of this interaction. Sounding annoyed by having to talk he immediately goes into this bland ingenue corporate apology. BUT instead of apologizing on behalf of BasicInvite.com this foo says he stands by the quality and service of BasicInvite.com and he apologizes for USPS!? How you gonna be so self absorbed you gonna blame the Untied States government. Even if it’s true they messed up the first box, which I still don’t think they did. What about the 2nd box? Why did I have to curse two poor customer service reps out. Trevor you should thank your god that my god put a woman in my life with some sense because I was really prepared to torture you for the rest of my living days.

We used Basic Invite for our save the dates, invitations, and bridal shower invites. We love how you could customize everything and really make it your own. Everything arrived on time and was perfect!

Went through 2 different samples, a bulk order, and another small order with this company and nothing was correct. The samples I received weren't the same color I got for my final bulk order. I was told the printer missed a layer of color. I needed to re order 15 more save the dates and placed my order and got a DIFFERENT color than my bulk order so nothing matched. I even paid the $10 to have a designer double check everything and the mistake wasn't caught. After that mess up I was told the printers can sometimes print different with every custom order. So no consistent explanations with what was wrong and no quality control at all. Customer service got back to me very quickly, I will say, but mistake after mistake was awful. Brittany in customer service is great but the rest of the company is a let-down.

I thought everything was going to be perfect when I found this site and made my custom invites. I ordered samples to make sure I knew exactly what I was getting, and I loved the product. Then, I get a message from a stranger one day with pictures of MY invites sitting on THEIR kitchen counter. I come home and sure enough, I have someone else's event invites entirely. We call customer support to sort everything out and the only thing they say is that they will re-ship our order to us as soon as possible. We ask, "Umm, are you going to do literally anything at all to reassure us after this major inconvenience?" And their response was, "Well I guess we can refund your shipping cost." (A whole $9.99.) I remind them that my invites - so my personal information, as well as ALL of my guest's full names and addresses - were just sent to a stranger across the country and that this could have been a HUGE liability for their company if my information got into the wrong hands. They email us later saying they apologize for this happening and basically nothing else. They did not care about the concerns I had from a liability and privacy standpoint AT ALL. Oh, and when I finally did get my invites I was really glad I ordered a few extra than what I had to sent out because I got one less of the invitations and RSVP cards, and 5 fewer RSVP envelopes than I ordered. Will never use this service again.

My daughter had a wonderful experience designing her wedding invitations with the help of Basic Invite. Customer service was exceptional and they provided support throughout her design process. We are extremely happy with the final the product. They are absolutely beautiful!

I searched several online invitation companies for the ability to customize gold print on my wedding invitation. Not only did Basic Invite offer this feature, but they did so at a very reasonable price. The quality was outstanding! We love our wedding invitations and they fit the theme of our wedding perfectly.

I liked this website at first because it has many more customizable options for its invitations. The design I chose was listed as starting at $0.89 per invitation. Since I’m on a budget I was careful not to add too many upgrades. I opted to add $0.20 per invitation in order to put pictures on the back. After spending hours getting my design just right, I go to check out and somehow the cost for the invitation has become $1.89 per card! An entire dollar more than advertised! At this stage there was no way I was gonna go back to another website and start from scratch so I’m just going to bite the bullet on it and then to make matters worse they have the nerve to charge an additional $10 for standard shipping! I’m pretty sure that Shutterfly and other services at least offer free shipping, especially when you are already spending over $100 with them. Not to mention the proof I received was OK but nothing spectacular. I would expect to be sending REALLY nice invitations for $150. I would keep looking if I were you.

I loved how you could customize more than other sites. Delivery was quick. I got more invitations/envelopes/ response cards than I ordered (though the total numbers didn't match each other). It's comparable to other options out there - especially for foil invites.

I used the "seal and send" invites which had a tear-off rsvp card, it made prepping the invites so much easier and more efficient for guests; they were also a great value for price! The product was beautiful; however, we had a printing mishap and didn't notice until our invitations had already been mailed out (a majority were correct, but somehow there was a mixup at the printer and a handful had the wrong date, location and time.) I was quite upset but they were quick to rectify the situation issuing me a full refund. The invitations were gold foil and the ones that were correct were absolutely perfect. I would recommend- pricing is very competitive for the quality of product. Just be sure to check every invitation, no matter which company you go with, to ensure no errors as human error happens.

Everyone raved at how stunning our invites were and they were half the cost of any other place we could find! We did the frost clear invitations and they really were a talking point of our guests. Easy set up and ability to customize. As with anything - order your invites sooner rather than later. There was a fix needed for our invites (which they were wonderful at handling!) that took additional time resend invitations.

We did need to order a few test prints until we got it right. I wish there was more quality control, but the quality for the price is unmatched! We had many compliments that guests claimed it was the nicest invitation they've ever received. It set the tone for our guests to know how appreciated they were before the wedding!

This was SUCH a great option for us considering that I was so indecisive. They had a wide selection of invitations to choose from and many options to further personalize them. I was blown away by the quality of the invitation, but the level of care of their customer service team and how available they were to answer any kind of design question and help whenever they could. I opted to purchase the option of having one of their design techs review my invitation set and I was super pleased that I did because they did find minor inconsistencies and was able to alter the envelopes so that I could place my return address on the back. Sadly, I do believe the quality of their kraft envelope was a bit lacking and too soft - I would therefore recommend using it as an inner envelope or substitute for an alternative color. Overall, I am SO pleased with this company! I HIGHLY recommend this to the gal that wants quality, customer service, and a deal (they seem to run their 15% off quite often). If you are printing your own custom design through Basic Invite, please think twice. I needed an on-demand print service to print wedding invitations of my own design. Basic Invite came highly recommended and had stellar reviews, so I decided to try them out. I would like to preface that I am a graphic designer and have over a decade of production experience, so I'd like to think I know a thing or two about quality when it comes to the printed product. I thought it a little odd that Basic Invite requires you to submit your designs in RGB (which is screen-only color and not for printing) and JPG (a file type that compresses and is generally not recommended for printing), but I went ahead and ordered samples anyway. The samples shipped to me were blurry and not up to even the poor print quality of my $30 Canon Inkjet test prints. I attempted to work with customer service on the issue, and suggested they use a CMYK vector PDF from me instead. Customer service came back with a poorly worded explanation as to why they use JPG over PDF and how the quality issue was my fault. When I sent a new file over to them, I waited for over a day before receiving a very crass reply from a completely different rep. Totally confused over this new reply that did not address any of my concerns, I replied to one of the lead designers who had reached out to me concerning my order. I politely explained the situation, offered to give him a call to figure things out, but I never heard back from him. So I never received a satisfactory explanation from anyone as to how my high resolution file was printed so poorly, or how it was ever my fault despite following exact directions. After wasting my time and money with this unprofessional service, I ultimately went with another vendor who was faster, cheaper, printed my invitations with very high quality, and had excellent customer service.

Our invites turned out perfectly! They were the perfect mix between fun and formal and will forever be a keepsake! The printed addresses were definitely a bonus as they saved us so much time!

Pros: Overall, my invitations turned out beautiful and I got a lot of compliments. I love that addresses are printed on envelopes for free - that is a HUGE help and time saver. Prices are slightly lower than competition if you don't do a bunch of upgrades. Cons: Operating this website is a nightmare as it's so glitchy and not truly that customizable. I keep running into the issue of my font size not fitting into the text box and you cannot enlarge the text box. Umm Microsoft Paint can do this, why can't this website do this? It's beyond annoying. Changes take forever to load and many times my changes were simply not saved due to the glitchy website. It's 2018 y'all get it together. Would recommend if you have the time to laboriously sit through the time it takes to load every little change you make and redo changes when they do not save. But maybe spend a few more bucks at minted and save your sanity.

We loved being able to design our own wedding save the dates and invitations! Basic invite also gave us the freedom to add rehearsal dinner cards and other information. Everything came on time and we were amazed at how beautiful our invitations were!

If you are designing your own invitations I highly recommend Basic Invite. They have many beautiful designs available for you to choose from as well, but my husband and I wanted to design our own. Finding a vendor to print a high quality product without charging the same rate as those that were in house designs was a challenge. Basic Invite was the most affordable option and the quality was on par with every other invite company we reached out to.

We added the extra editing onto our package which has a member of Basic Invite review your order for errors, (spelling, dates, names, etc..) which allowed us to feel a lot more confident with our order. I used Basic Invite for wedding save-the-dates and was beyond impressed! After spending too many hours looking for the perfect layout and struggling to work within the constrictive layouts/designs across several other invitation websites, I soon realized that Basic Invite was the way to go. It offered the most flexibility and customization by far - I was able to use a template as a starting point, but had free rein to edit the design to make it my own - from font, color, placement, etc. The customer service was also outstanding. Plus, to top it off the cards were EXTREMELY well-priced - I saved a fortune while creating beautiful, high quality save-the-dates that felt like "my own"!

We've used Basic Invite for our wedding save-the-dates, Christmas cards, and our wedding invitations. I believe they provide great quality and awesome looking products. Our photos and cards were always clear and well laid out. It was super exciting to receive each order in the mail and I looked forward to it every time upon ordering. Orders arrived quickly and offered great coupons for percentages off total. It was nice being able to order samples too, to see how you like the product before ordering. Products were easy to mail out because of Basic Invite's address book option where you can upload names and addresses and Basic Invite will print on all envelopes including return address. The only trouble we had was with some misprints and shortages of cards, which Basic fixed quickly and had good customer service. The products can be reviewed by someone from their site before ordering and are very customizable too!

Easy to use website, awesome design templates - although we tweaked colors and fonts to make our save-the-dates truly custom - and I LOVE the free address printing on the envelopes. Everything turned out perfectly!!
