When I knew my fiance was shopping for engagement rings, I told him to check out Baxters as it is not a 'big box' store. He cannot stop talking about how easy it was to buy my engagement ring there! I had a very unique band on my engagement ring, so I was at a loss on what would 'fit' for a wedding band. After working with Joe and Paul, they made my ultimate dream come true by custom making my wedding ring with my grandmother's wedding ring. Throughout the process of buying and customizing our rings, the Baxters 'Family' was a joy to work with. You cant go wrong with Baxters.

Kim helped me find the most beautiful and unique wedding band to fit my personality and Mark helped with the process later on! They ensure it was in on time and even polished my engagement ring so it was shiny and bright for the wedding! I wish I'd started my search here to make it easier but I certainly ended it here and will certainly be coming back!

My family has been coming to Baxters for over 20 years. My parents had their 25-year anniversary bands designed here, my sister's pre-engagement, wedding and re-designed wedding rings designed here and now my husband and I had our rings designed here as well. Kevin helped my husband design my engagement ring. After our engagement, the first thing we did was go back to Baxter's and have Kevin help us design our wedding bands. They are so personable and work within your budget to create something more than just a ring. Our family won't go anywhere else for fine jewelry.

In April, I went to Baxter’s to get my husband’s brand new watch (which I bought elsewhere) engraved as his wedding gift for our September 1st wedding. In May, I was told I could pick it up, only to find out that they messed up on the engraving and didn’t think to tell me. They actually thought I wouldn’t say anything. They engraved the watch so the wording was slanted and diagonal instead of straight and center in relation to 12 o’lock, the watch was straight. when you tilted your head to the right. They told me “no one was ever wanted it the way I wanted it and they did it straight based on where the brand name was on the back of the watch”. First of, who in their right minds wants to cock their head to the side to read an engraving? Secondly, who cares what everyone else wants. It is about what I wanted. They should have just admitted they made a mistake. They were not eager to remediate the issue either and instead made me feel like I was unsatisfied for no reason. I demanded they fix it. Be it new watch or new back of the watch, they need to fix this mistake they made on my sentimental wedding gift. Fast forward to the end of July when the watch was ready after multiple follow-ups on my end regarding the watch’s status and multiple visits to the store, my watch was ready. I spoke directly with the owner. I told him the quality of work and customer service was atrocious and I was not asking for a lot. Had I not been proactive and this happened later in the year, who knows if I would have had the watch done by the wedding date. I told the owner my husband and I gave them a lot of business. My custom designed engagement ring, both mine and my husbands wedding bands, came from Baxter’s. We sent our friends there, who also customized his wife’s engagement ring there and my family as a whole has provided Baxter’s with a lot of business and I was shocked with how unprofessional his staff was. The owner gave me the watch and told me when I need new batteries for the watch to not bring it there. I could not believe this was coming from his mouth, but then again if his employees are going to behave like this, well they say “the tone is set at the top”, so suffice it to say, I can’t be entirely shocked. My husband and I will also never be shopping at Baxter’s ever again.

My husband bought my engagement ring at Baxter's and it couldn't be more perfect. Baxter's staff is professional and everyone takes pride in their work. He has continued to use Baxter's for all of our jewelry needs. When it came time for our wedding bands there was no where else we would go. Baxter's created a wax mold of my band to make sure it fit well with my engagement ring and they suggested a slight curve in the band to allow it to sit flush with the diamond on my engagement ring. We will continue to use Baxter's exclusively.

They really know their stuff. The staff is so accommodating to what your wish list and budget is and they find you the perfect ring instead of just selling you anything. I ended up with 2 custom Baxter designs and am so happy with our purchases. I'm convinced their jeweler Sarkis can do just about anything!

I would highly recommend Baxters jewelers. We worked with John to design the bride's one-of-a-kind ring, and it came out absolutely stunning! We were so impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff was, that we even bought both wedding bands there!

Have been married ten years and my engagement and wedding rings (not purchased at Baxter's) needed repair. I was devastated. So, I went to Baxter's at the advice of someone I trust (who works in the jewelry industry-he said that all of the jewelry manufacturers in the state go to Baxter's because they have true full in-house design service). When we went in, and looked around with the help of some terrific and knowledgeable employees who showed us some recent work they had done and other styles in the case. We decided to design a ring using my original diamonds. I came in later to try on wax molds of the rings and gave the "go ahead" to cast the design. We picked them up, I was not prepared for how absolutely gorgeous they came out! The rings, though very similar to my original style, were enhanced and the setting of the diamond was tremendous!!! The craftsmanship of the jewelry is nothing short of spectacular. The owner came over to thank us for the business and was very friendly. He is clearly talented and why this family business has been around for generations. I can say I will never shop for jewelry anywhere but Baxter's!!!!

Fabulous service and beautiful rings! We were shopping for my husband's wedding band for a LONG time before we finally ended up in Baxter's. The jeweler worked with us to get my husband exactly what he wanted. We ended up finding my band there too, after they helped us find a band that matches my e-ring beautifully. Also purchased Alex and Ani necklaces for my bridesmaids, which they gift wrapped beautifully. Baxter's is definitely our go to jewelry store from now on!

My husband worked with Baxter's to design my beautiful engagement ring, so it was natural for us to get our wedding bands there as well. Finding my husband's ring was pretty easy. Due to my ring's shape, a straight band would not sit correctly, so Baxter's designed a ring that would fit my engagement ring (and budget), but could also be worn alone. I came back to Baxter's to resize an old ring for my mother that she hasn't worn in over 30 years. Baxter's took great care in keeping all the fine details of the ring, and cleaned it up so nicely This place is one of the gems of Rhode Island!

My Husband and I love Baxters. We go to them with every fine jewelry purchase because of their fantastic service and workmanship. From Alex and Ani, Pandora and fine jewelry, Baxter's has it all. My husband was able to pick out my dream Hearts on Fire engagement ring and wedding band with their fantastic guidance...and you guessed it, I LOVED THEM! I went to them when I needed to pick my husband's wedding band and they were able to help me feel secure that I made the right choice. We always make sure to visit Baxter's whenever holidays such as Christmas and Mother's Day roll around. They always have a lovely selection and even have some great sales.

Kevin and Sarkis at Baxter's are amazing! Kevin was a tremendous help to my husband when he was designing my engagement ring and Sarkis' craftmanship in creating it is unmatched! Each step of the way, from designing, to selecting stones, from the plastic rough draft to the final masterpiece, my husband was able to easily navigate the world of fine jewelry with their help. The result was a breathtaking one-of-a-kind piece that still renders me speechless. And the price was right (we're a single income family)...who knew custom work could be so affordable!

My fiancé went to Baxter's with my sister to pick out an engagement ring this past November after having a unpleasant experience at a "big name" jewelry store at one of the local malls...the service they received here was amazing and they even helped my fiancé customize my ring... I was floored when I saw the ring, it was exactly what I wanted and beautiful beyond words. The ring was a little big and I had to take it to be resized and they did it the same day for me so that I could wear it out for holiday parties! Everyone who works here is beyond friendly and helpful and I would totally recommend this place to anyone for any kind of jewelry needs. They really go the extra mile to make sure you are happy and satisfied. I even went back to have my wedding band custom made...Kim helped me and we designed something that fit perfectly with my engagement ring. We had such a wonderful experience with Baxter's. My husband inherited a diamond from his grandmother, which he wanted to have made into an engagement ring for me. It is an antique hand cut diamond, and we wanted a vintage look for the ring. John DiSabatino helped us out, he is the Director of Sales as well as a jewelry designer. He really spent a lot of time with us and had an amazing computer graphic done so we could see what the ring would look like. Well, the finished product is far above our expectation. My husband said, "It's not just a beautiful ring, but the most beautiful ring that I have ever seen", and I have to agree!

This great family owned business is always a pleasure to work with. I've been going there for my Pandora bracelet and Alex & Ani Bracelets. My husband has gone there as well for them for me. He picked out a really beautiful A. Jaffe engagement ring from Baxters and was really happy with the service. When we returned to pick out wedding bands it wasn't quite as easy finding exactly what we liked. It took a couple visits for us to decide and he selected a really great ring from Triton. I had Baxters design my wedding band to be similar to the one that went with my ring from A. Jaffe. It has the same euro shank,and in platinum and contours to my engagement band perfectly. Great pricing and really exceptional service.

I absolutely LOVED the service we received from Baxter's. We've come in for various jewelry repairs, but this time, I got to design my wedding set. They walked us through each part of the process. Communication was constant with Baxter's and they were never pushy. My husband and I are both very pleased with our jewelry and will DEFINITELY be coming back for more.

Paul and his staff/family are absolutely amazing. We were treated as family every time we walked in. Both of our ring sets were custom made. All of our questions/concerns/requests were always met with a smile and a can-do attitude. We have found our Jeweler for life.

THE BEST jewelry store around!! My husband had my engagement ring custom made there and Paul was excellent to work with. From designs, to prices, to everything else, he was so helpful! We then got our wedding bands there and they have been top notch from start to finish. They always clean my ring every time I go in and are always there to answer any questions I may have. Paul and all the staff were amazing! We wanted custom designed engagement rings and they helped us do it, it was a reasonable price and they came out amazing! We got our wedding rings from them as well, wonderful and the least expensive for the K of gold we chose.

My husband searched for days and days behind my back until he found the engagement ring he was looking for, at Baxter's. The service there is very good. I took my ring to get rhodium plated a week before the big day and they were able to get it done quickly (got it back the same day). The next day I noticed that the diamond was loose, and that some of the fine designs on the side were wiped off, and we took it back. They were able to fix the problems free of charge, and got it back to us that day.

Baxter's has great jewelry! They also have wonderful service and are very patient. We spent hours looking at many rings and the employees were very helpful. They are a family business and do not work off of commission so they do not try to rush you along. When they made a slight mistake with the sizing of the rings, they fixed them right away with no problem at all. We love our rings! Thank you!
