If I could give Baypointe Inn 1000 stars I would. My husband and I had our wedding at the Boathouse Villa in May and it was better than we could of ever dreamed. The whole planning process with Juno was a breeze. She was so helpful walking us through costs, timeline planning, and any other details we needed to nail down. Because the Boathouse was our wedding venue we also stayed there Thursday-Sunday. This was a huge selling point. Being able to stay right at the venue all weekend was perfect. We also dined at the hotel restaurant one night which was great. Everyone loved their food and drinks. Breakfast was included with the stay and was also great. I also want to give a shoutout to our day of coordinator Gabe who made our actual wedding day magical. He was also there for rehearsal and answered any last minute questions we had. He even fluffed my dress for me before I walked down the aisle! Him and the rest of the catering staff made the reception run smoothly. I have absolutely 0 complaints about our whole wedding weekend. Everyone at Baypointe is top notch and the perfect lakeside setting is just icing on the cake. I could truly go on for hours. If you’re considering Baypointe for your wedding, DO IT!!! Thank you Baypointe!!!

The venue itself is absolutely stunning—the Lakefront Pavilion provided the perfect balance of elegance and romance while still creating the fun, celebratory atmosphere we envisioned. Our guests are still raving about how gorgeous the setting was and how much they enjoyed the evening. The food was outstanding, and the customizable wedding packages allowed us to fine-tune every detail so our day truly reflected us.

e and out! The staff was very friendly upon checking in and out and with any requests we had! The room, deluxe suite, was very clean and had plenty of space for 6-8 people to get ready in and with the balcony to the water, it had a beautiful view! Breakfast in the morning was delicious, had options for dairy and gluten free needs! The property is kept up very well, bridal parties have a lot of access for photos on both sides - with the docks open too! For a wedding, the food was great and at the lake side pavilion, guests can roam by the water and mingle!
One thing to note is you have to book the night before your wedding in order to get ready at the hotel. Bay Pointe does not offer getting ready rooms. We had a wedding of 120 people and spent just around 9k, definitely can work into a smaller budget!

The venue is breathtaking on its own, with gorgeous waterfront views that created the most peaceful, romantic atmosphere. On top of that, the staff’s hospitality was next-level. They provided so much helpful guidance throughout the planning process and truly made everything feel seamless.
Even without a wedding planner, I felt fully supported thanks to their incredible in-house catering and event managers (shoutout to Mariesa and Juno!) and our amazing day-of coordinator, Meagan. She ran the show flawlessly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — I truly can’t thank her enough.
We also hosted our rehearsal dinner onsite in the Fireside Room, which made everything so easy and gave us extra time to enjoy with our family and wedding party. The food was delicious, and another huge perk was staying in the beautiful Bay Pointe cottages. Having a place right at the venue for all of us to stay and celebrate together made the weekend even more special.
All night long, our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was. It was everything we dreamed of and more — the most magical place to start our forever. We truly couldn’t recommend Bay Pointe more!!

dependent wedding planner and it was not necessary. Madison took care of all of the detail for the Food & Beverage, space, helping to set up the floor plan and quickly responding to any questions I had. The F&B Supervisors for the Rehearsal were very patient with us as some of our guests were running late but they were able to fit everything in before the Rehearsal Dinner started. We also hosted the Rehearsal Dinner in the restaurant, which we were so glad we did. Not only was the food amazing but we were glad to have all of the family close and not worry about getting back to the hotel from another restaurant. They gave us 4 hours in the restaurant and it was ample time for everyone to socialize and eat. The wedding ceremony we had at the Lakefront and everything was set up on time so our families could start our set up. We had our reception in the Pavillion and it was great. We got married May 2nd so it was still cool outside in the evening but inside the Pavillion you would not know they have heaters to keep you warm and comfortable. We chose the Taco Bar for the Dinner and all of the food was amazing. We actually had Bay Pointe take care of all of the food, including desserts since we were not wanting a wedding cake. We also had the Ice Cream Bar, Smores Bar, Cheesecake Bites, Late Night Pizza and Sub Sandwiches. All of this food was also amazing. The F&B Supervisor for the wedding always made sure we had eaten and had drinks even when the bar closed for dinner. We appreciated that since everyone wants to congratulate you sometimes Brides & Grooms don't have chances to sit down and eat. The hotel accommodations were also great (the complimentary breakfast in restaurant was also one of the best included options I have ever had and I work in the hotel industry so I travel quite a bit), we just wish we could have spent another night!
On a side note we used DJ Guy Voss, recommended by the venue and he did a great job!

Our stay was really nice, although there was a neighbor burning leaves and we can smell it in our cottages it really could not be helped by the property.

d very accommodating. We rented out the Lakefront Pavilion and the Boathouse (for the rehearsal, and getting ready day of the ceremony) and it was a flawless process. We had 2 critiques of the venue, the first being that the colorful mums behind the arch of the lakefront pavilion was a bit much for our tastes (we also were not expecting it). We would have preferred more neutral colors. Also, the night of the wedding/reception, we were required to completely teardown and remove all of the decorations that we brought. We had one hour from when the reception ended at 11pm to get it all removed. This means that a lot of our friends and family and to pitch in after the reception to make sure we met ay Pointe’s criteria. Other than those 2 things, we were very happy with our choice to go with Bay Pointe. This is a great spot for anybody who is looking for a unique outdoor wedding venue, and would highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of renting the Emerson lower and upper cottages for our entire bridal party to stay at the night of rehearsal and wedding. This made it such a blast and allowed everyone to be in the same place and truly enjoy each other’s company for the entirety of our weekend.
MULTIPLE guests commented that they had the most amazing food at our wedding in comparison to any other venue they have attended. This was a huge win for us as many of us are foodies.

e. We didn't know what to expect but she went WAY above and beyond. If "on top of it" was a person, it would be her. Before I could even communicate if I needed help with something, Stephanie somehow read my mind and had it handled. She single-handedly kept us stress-free all day, we love her. Our bartender was also amazing, she was fast, efficient and somehow remembered everyone's drinks the whole night. I could make eye contact with her from across the room and my drink would be waiting for me!
For the other highlights, the venue is perfect for small, intimate weddings. It was so nice to have the whole weekend in one place and to be able to stay with our entire wedding party. With the Boat House, we had the convenience of a banquet hall but the fun and comfort of a house party, all of our guests and vendors loved it too. Also, we had a buffet for dinner, and the team working with us were so accommodating when it came to our guests with food allergies.
As for the wedding planning process, our point persons, Ashley, Juno and Spencer were all very responsive and helpful. My only wish was for some kind of site or portal to keep better track of things—final decisions, answers to questions, invoices/receipts and any other reference material was buried in a year's worth of email threads. Overall highly recommend everything to do with the Bay Pointe Boat House :)

Every single employee went above and beyond to make sure our event was perfect. The entire process was seamless - from the very first email to the final checkout. The boathouse was especially lovely and private. The bridal party was able to stay at the boathouse and the rest of the guests stayed at the Inn. Everything was clean and well appointed. You would think, after months of planning, we would be relieved for it to be over. But it was such a wonderful experience, we are actually sad. Thank you Bay Pointe!!

While wedding planning, our wedding team (Mariesa and Juno), was in constant communication with us, provided us with every detail imaginable (even small things we didn’t think about). They provided advice and direction while accommodating our specific needs. They provide you with everything you need to make your day go smoothly. The work they put into our day took so much stress off our plate.
The weekend of went perfectly, hugely due to the Bay Pointe staff. Our coordinator, Stephanie, was amazing. She hosted our rehearsal and gave us peace of mind going into the big day. On the wedding day, not only did she make sure that everything ran perfectly, she was constantly going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, checking in with to see if we needed anything. She even grabbed us drinks and food when we needed it! She was incredible. The rest of the staff was also fantastic. They were friendly and made sure everyone was having a good time.
These few highlights only touch the surface of what made our wedding weekend at Bay Pointe so special. They truly go above and beyond. I will be recommending Bay Pointe to anyone i know looking for a wedding venue!

esa. She showed us the different venues to hold the wedding, and that’s when we fell in love with the Lakefront Pavilion and its beautiful views right on Gun Lake.
From there, my fiancée and I worked with the Catering Event Manager Juno to plan the nitty and gritty details. Juno was a constant professional and helped us plan every second of our wedding and food details.
The day of our wedding, Courtney took great care of us and ensured that everything went perfectly throughout the day. She even went above and beyond and arranged the flowers on our cake, which turned out beautifully! We couldn't have asked for a better event supervisor for our big day and we are so grateful to her for helping make the day perfect and stress-free.

We rented out the Boathouse Villa, which was the most adorable space (both for the wedding and an incredible weekend spent celebrating with friends and family)! We received so many compliments about the food, venue, and overall relaxed vibe. We worked with Jessica on the details and Jocelyn on the day of and they were both incredible. I highly recommend this venue!

n and I can't stress enough how outstanding she was. I am such a stresser and always worry about the little details but with Jocelyn, she stayed on top of everything and was on took care of every detail before I even had time to think of it, much less stress, leaving me to have a more fun and relaxing day than I ever dreamed possible!
Madison and Ashley were my point people leading up to the wedding and they were fantastic. My husband and I live out of state so there were so many emails back and forth as I asked them extra questions, not knowing the area. They always answered quickly and never seemed to mind. Madison in particular was invaluable helping me with the DJ, who had extra questions and concerns.
As for the venue itself, it was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and exceeded my expectations. The room was so nice, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud with comfortable pillows and super soft sheets and blankets. The Jacuzzi tub was super great too, especially after the long day of being on our feet. Also, I highly, highly recommend grabbing some of the cookies after check in. They are fantastic and go quickly!
All in all, I would definitely recommend this venue for your wedding. I was very happy with everything!

to get to have my wedding there. Everything was great, Juno was an incredible communicator, everything runs like a WELL oiled machine, and they had a plan for everything. It was on the expensive side for sure, but there was a lot of stuff that came with that that I didn’t have to worry about and peace of mind is great. If we could get married again we would do it at bay pointe a thousand times over.

at the lakefront lawn and it was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing! Along with having a hotel right on site was perfect for our guests so they did not have to drive home.
I am thankful for having our wedding in late September as Gun Lake is very popular in the summer time so the resort does get really busy by the docks especially. I did get nervous with strangers walking through but there was staff on site watching.
Overall, we are very thankful to have found this venue and will be coming back to make visits on our anniversary. :)

and getting married by the water was beautiful. The reception area was gorgeous and cozy. The staff was incredible, especially Paige, who was our day-of event coordinator. She went above and beyond and made us feel cared for in every way. If we needed something, she took care of it. She made the day that much better for us and treated us like we were the most important people in the world. Our guests absolutely loved the venue as well. We live about two hours away from the venue and were asked several times how we ended up finding such an incredible place. We were told by many of our friends and family that this was one of their all time favorite weddings to have attended. The food and drinks were also fantastic. If you're looking for a magical venue for your fairytale wedding with beachy/lake vibes then this is it. It was an absolute dream for a summer wedding and it's one we'll never forget. Thank you, Bay Pointe for going above and beyond!

on how beautiful the venue was, and it was the perfect location. Throughout planning, the staff was extremely accommodating and always ready to answer any questions. We also held our rehearsal dinner in the Fireside room the night before our wedding, stayed in the cottages so we could get ready there the morning of the wedding, and stayed in the complementary bridal suite the night of our wedding. Everything was extremely clean and organized, and the food was great for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. Thanks to Bay Pointe (and our vendors) our vision was executed flawlessly, and everything went as planned. I can not recommend Bay Pointe enough for your wedding day!

edding on the water. We booked it immediately. The food was delicious, the views were incredible and the staff was so helpful at every single stage. Every person at our wedding kept asking how we found this place and how much they want to come back. Its literally perfect. We had our rehearsal dinner in the Fireside room and watched the sunset. On our wedding day, it down poured during our ceremony time but Paige, our coordinator from Bay Pointe (another reason they are amazing, they provide a day of coordinator) had such a positive outlook, being the bride, I was more calm than half the wedding because I knew the rain would pass, sure enough it did and the sun peaked out and it cooled off, making for a literally perfect evening. We had a party bus pick up a large group post reception and took us to Gun Lake Casino for an after party! The casino also provides a 14 passenger shuttle free of charge. Overall, if you are thinking about having your wedding here, DO IT!

to our day, and the staff (and our vendors) the day of were excellent and took care of everything! It was so nice to be able relax while getting ready and not have to worry about anything.
Rehearsal was also great! They have day of coordinators provided for you (that do everything except setup your own decor that your bring in) and they were so helpful in going over everything and assuring us it would go as planned. We had a Thursday rehearsal (Friday wedding) so nothing else was going on that evening afterwards. Our bridal party and family were able to hangout outside around the fire pits, and they let us bring in our own drinks and pizza (ordered from Lakeside Pizzeria right down the road on Gun lake, definitely recommend) which was super nice and saved us some money! We set up yard games and some extra lawn chairs right outside our cottage, and had a great and laid back rehearsal which is what we wanted!
The Woods location itself is beautiful, and the cottages being right on site was a huge plus! Our bridal party and family all stayed the night before and the night off. The rooms were super nice, spacious, clean, and updated. Perfect to get ready in. The ceremony spot is absolutely gorgeous, and the reception area was incredible. We loved how the reception venue had a wrap around sidewalk and that guests were able to mingle inside/outside during cocktail hour and the reception.
Food was also incredible! We had the prime rib, chicken chardonnay, mashed potatoes, and green beans. All amazing! Late snacks and appetizers were also delicious.
Overall would 10/10 recommend. It couldn’t have gone better, and it was so great to see all of our family and friends also have a great time.
