Beautiful, eclectic, vintage, and fun venue! Arlo the owner is so easy to work with and very flexible! The venue is well priced for those with a smaller invite list (approx. 200 upstairs, 120-150 downstairs) and definitely budget friendly! Do the two day package and use the day before to set up and host your rehearsal dinner! A shuttle from the Ameristar holiday inn takes folks to and from the venue for free as well! The park is across the street which allows for several photo opportunities! Make sure to call versus email or message because he will respond as soon as you call him!
The Bayliss was a beautiful area to have our Wedding Ceremony and Reception. The facility was amazing, it was great to be able to have our own caterers and music. The staircase and fountain at the park is a dream come true!
Had so many people comment on how beautiful the venue was and we hardly did any decorating. We had a lot of freedom to make the wedding and reception just how we wanted it since you can use any caterer, bring your own alcohol, etc. The setting made for some really lovely pictures and having it all in one venue made it very convenient and intimate.
This was such a magical venue. I was so happy with how beautiful it was when I walked through the doors of my wedding venue. The entire night and weeks to follow I kept getting compliments on how gorgeous the venue was. Arlo is unbelievable and such a great owner to Bayliss Park Hall and truly cares about the bride and grooms over all happiness. No drawbacks, utterly beautiful and memorable. I couldn't have picked a better venue.
Review Bayliss Park Hall was a beautiful venue for my wedding day. The owners went the extra mile to accommodate many details, such as seating, photographers, family members with health issues/ disabilities, etc.
The hall itself is a wonderful, grand house with plenty of picturesque opportunities.
My only disappointment was that the there was ne way for me to not be seen by my fiancé before the wedding, as there are no "facilities" where the bride is staged to get dressed. This being an antique house, it's charm and beauty outweighed this slight departure from tradition I used just the wedding hall. The reception was held elsewhere.
This is a beautiful place for a smaller reception. Arlo was so helpful with details. They do have some decorations available to use, also they will set up and clean up the hall for you. They will rent you tablecloths. Everything turned out beautiful. We had 110-120 guests, had a dinner and dance after. Nice equipment for DJ also. Only drawback is no elevator to second level.
