This company was great. The 2 women showed up on time to set up and were on time with everyone’s makeup. They were fun and professional and stuck around til the end for final touch ups. Dana always responded quickly and was easy to work with.

Working with the Beautiful Brides team was an absolute pleasure! I found myself in a hair/makeup emergency 2 months out from my wedding, and in desperate need of a new vendor. After my zoom consultation with Dana, I felt much more at ease - THIS was how the process was supposed to feel. The form I filled out was extremely detailed, which made for a smooth and successful trial. I worked with Stephanie and Sarah, who did hair and makeup for myself and 4 others. They were wonderful to work with, and made everyone look fabulous! They were efficient, and finished with time to spare, but without sacrificing any quality. I cannot thank Dana, Stephanie, and Sarah enough for getting my wedding day off to a beautiful start, and I cannot recommend them enough!

A couple of my friends used them in the past, so I already knew I wanted to use them. I didn't want to look for anyone else. Dana the owner was great to work with. She knew how to exactly schedule everyone to be ready on time for our ceremony.

We absolutely loved working with Dana and her crew on our wedding day! We started with a zoom call, as it was right at the beginning of the pandemic, and she was so lovely to talk to. I immediately knew I wanted her as our hair and makeup company! From there she did my hair and makeup for our engagement shoot, and the hair and makeup artist did a fantastic job, I knew I made the right choice :) The engagement shoot pictures came out SO well that we used them for our save-the-date! From there, Dana stayed in communication with me, asked for inspo photos, and developed a schedule for the day of that worked so well! Getting ready for the wedding was so easy with the hair and makeup team Dana provided for us. I had 7 bridesmaids, plus my mom and MIL, and her crew did an incredible job getting everyone’s hair and makeup done in time (and all high quality jobs)!!!!! All my bridesmaids looked so beautiful and loved their hair and makeup. I absolutely LOVED my hair and makeup too, I showed the artist a few pictures, explained what I wanted and she nailed it!!!!!!!!! In addition, everyone’s hair and makeup held the entire night!!!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you Dana and crew for helping us feel so beautiful !!!!!

Dana was a pleasure to work with..so organized and accommodating. My hair stylist and makeup artist were wonderful! Everyone got what they wanted and lasted the entire night! What more can you ask for :) highly recommend them and started to tell my friends getting married too!

Before the big day, Dana Persia was wonderful in coordinating all of the fine details. She was extremely responsive via phone call and email and answered all of our questions regarding our vision for hair and makeup, the contract, schedule, and last-minute changes on the day-of due to bridesmaids switching up their personal preferences. Dana and her team were easy to work with and very accommodating. She did not charge us an arm and a leg for everyone’s hair and makeup and even offered a generous military discount. On the actual day of our wedding, Beautiful Brides Philly was timely and professional. Needless to say, the hair and makeup of both brides, each and every bridesmaid, and the brides’ mothers were nothing short of absolutely stunning and gorgeous. The cosmetologists and aestheticians really knew what they were doing! They treated each and every customer as if she was the most important person that day. They were accommodating with specific needs and even did my godmother’s hair at the very last minute so her hair would look lovely for the wedding! 12/31/18 wedding Amanda at Beautiful Brides Philly did an incredible job for my NYE wedding. I asked for slightly different eye makeup than we agreed on at my trial, and the result was flawless! I was also ridiculously sick with a head cold, extremely red and puffy. She was so good at hiding all those flaws on my face. Nobody could tell I was sick until I opened my mouth and spoke! I was also nervous about my hair, as I have tape in extensions and my natural hair is crazy frizzy, but Amanda made it look sleek and exactly how I imagined it for my retro-glam look! She was also super flexible the day of, as I paid to have my mother’s hair and makeup done, but Mom chickened out (she doesn’t wear any), so one of my aunts got her hair done and another her makeup. Dana was easy and fast with correspondence and it was so nice to meet her during my trial. She also was super patient with my mother-in-law during the weeks leading up to the wedding. who wasn’t sure if she too wanted to get done up as well. I definitely recommend BBP!

I was an out of state bride planning my wedding but fortunately had a friend who had gotten married at our church. She said that she and another friend both used Beautiful Brides Philly. When I got in touch with Dana, I was sold! She was able to work with an accommodate me and my 7 bridesmaids, my mother and my husbands's mother for a total of 10 hair and 10 makeup sessions the morning of our wedding and to make things better, she and her team were able to travel to Malvern where I was getting ready! The price was perfect and the team was wonderful. When I went for my trial, Elise and Carmen were fantastic and made me feel completely at ease, knowing that I would be in excellent hands a few months later. Carmen told me which lip liner and gloss to get so I could touch up during the day, which I appreciated, and Elise told me just what to tell my hair dresser when I got my hair cut so that my hair would be flawless. The day of, the team of 4 women came right up to the bridal suite and got to work with music and great energy! It was so much fun!!! Unfortunately, the week of the wedding, my face started breaking out which was devastating, but Carmen covered it up without issue. Elise used more bobby pins for my long and thick hair that I have ever seen but I would never have known except when I pulled them all out! My hair did fall by the end of the night, but it was a sign of an awesome day dancing my heart out with all my favorite people. My girls looked gorgeous too!! Everyone was so happy with the service and I would happily recommend them!

I was worried about my make up and hair, but Dana and her staff made me feel so comfortable. The trial was a great experience and I talked about all my ideas until I felt sure about what I want. The day of our wedding Stephanie (Hair) and Han (make up) where at our hotel super early. They both were really organized and helped a lot to my bridesmaids to get what they wanted in terms of hair and make up. All their products are the best of the best and they are super helpful in so many ways. They understand that you can be under a lot of pressure and nervous, but they always remain super professional. We had an amazing experience with Beautiful Brides Philly! Stephanie, Brianna, and Han were incredibly professional and made everyone look like a princess. They did hair and makeup for myself, 6 bridesmaids, the mothers of the bride and groom, my aunt, and two flower girls. One of my bridesmaids had originally opted to do her own makeup, but after seeing how amazing everyone looked, she asked if she could be added to the schedule on the day of, and they were able to accommodate her. I am so happy we used Beautiful Brides Philly for my wedding! Kristen was our dual stylist for hair and makeup and she was fabulous! I hired Beautiful Brides Philly to do hair and makeup services for me, my bridesmaids, and the MOB and MOG for my wedding and I could not be more happy I did so! From the trial through packing up day-of, Dana and her stylists were so professional, courteous, friendly, and enthusiastic. Not to mention so so talented!! I had initially contracted with these people at the suggestion and recommendation of a friend who had used them. I liked the make-up job they did. I told them what I wanted, they quoted me a rate. I also told them I was a stand alone bride, no wedding party and where I was getting married. I thought I was set. A few weeks later they told me they could not possibly take care of me and could not travel to WEST CHESTER to do my hair and make-up. I will again note that I never hid what I wanted or where I was being married. I did not object to travel rates, etc. THEY set the rates. I would have paid more in travel expenses had they offered it. But no, what they told me is as a bride, I was not worth the trip. And when I complained to my friend, the business owner told me to "not be like that". To that I say like what? She could have completely ruined my day by her lack of professionalism. If I was too far or not interesting enough or was only one person she should have said so BEFORE I had thought I had booked them. The irony is, I was giving them a try instead of going with the professionals I knew who could do it best. I wanted to give them the business because they knew my friend. BIG mistake. 12/22/2017 I am responding to the Beautiful Brides Philly’s "explanation" from the Knot the other day. Let's tell the truth. I saved the emails. I was not told there was a "minimum". As I was a stand-alone bride I could have fit into category of event hair and make-up as well. I hid NOTHING about location and so on. THEY quoted me a price said the date was ok in their calendar, I accepted. They never even mentioned a trial/deposit/contract, so when I contacted them to confirm and find out what topay was when I was told they oops weren't doing what they had agreed to do via email (unknown if they actually have contracts). The business owner decided I had ample time, and well why would I trust her judgement? And I most certainly did NOT have three months left to find someone. If they had simply replied to my review that they screwed up and they were sorry, this would be the end of it. But they didn't and a place where the customer or potential customer is wrong is not right. Beautiful Brides reply to this review: QUOTE: "We are terribly sorry this potential client is so upset. We try to always service all of our clients when possible. Her location was too far for a bride-only service (i.e., she did not meet our minimum) and this was explained to her. She in fact DID NOT have any contract with us as she states. Nothing was presented to her, signed or paid for. She assumed she had us "booked" by a simple email exchange. We do not book any clients without a signed contract or proper deposit. She had 3 months to find a stylist for her wedding which is ample time. Again, we are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused"

Dana is the owner & a delightful person to work with. She is super responsive & we loved her little shop on Passyunk St for the trial. Amanda was our stylist & she came to us for hair & makeup on the day of. Everything went very smoothly. An A+ rating from us!!

Maggie, Kristin and Emily did my bridal party's hair and makeup for my wedding and could not be happier with how everything turned out. Beautiful Brides Philly did a fantastic job for my 95 degree July wedding. Brianna and Stephanie were my stylists-- and Maggie did our coordinating. I had my trial in April, and I requested similar styles to the trial -- with a little more drama. The stylists took this direction beautifully. They had pictures ready from the trial looks and knew exactly how to amp up the drama in each. The owner, Dana, also allowed my request of purchasing a demo hair piece used at my trial. Maggie was wonderful with communications during the planning process. They also provided us with clear directions on prep, and they arrived promptly as per our agreed timeline. The stylists all finished work for everyone involved and were able to do touch-ups as needed. More than that -- when I kept thinking I must need to touch up makeup and hair due to the heat and happy tears throughout the night, everything remained perfect and in place. I have never felt more beautiful -- BBP helped make it the most perfect day ever. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Beautiful Brides Philly made everyone feel so beautiful on my wedding day, from ages 18 to 90!!! Our stylists were Maggie, Elisa, and Lan. All 3 arrived on time and were so friendly, upbeat, and fun to chat with during our styling session. Also an important note: they ran exactly on schedule and were even done a little bit early, which left time for touchups before the photographers arrived. Before the wedding, my hair/makeup trial was done earlier than normal, about 7 months before, because I live across the country, but Maggie and Elisa did a great job of documenting everything they did to recreate my look on the big day. We also appreciated that they were so accommodating when one of my bridesmaids at the last minute (3 weeks before) could no longer attend our wedding due to a family crisis. I was pleasantly surprised that they hair lasted perfectly the entire day - I have very curly, fine hair that frizzes easily, so I was really nervous about the style holding and it did!! My makeup also lasted well, even though it took more of a beating with all the happy tears and dancing all night long -- I still felt beautiful at the end of the evening. Working with Maggie was also perfect because she handles all of the scheduling, so she sent a draft schedule well in advance and promptly responded to our questions/comments we had. They were the perfect choice our wedding!

Maggie and Elisa did an AMAZING job for myself, my bridesmaids, and mothers. They were right on time, got set up in my hotel suite and went to work! Everyone's hair and makeup looked fabulous and stayed looking great throughout our 100 degree wedding day. I was pretty nervous since I have naturally curly hair, but Elisa and I worked together to come up with a fabulous naturally curly up-do. I would absolutely recommend booking Beautiful Brides Philly! I used them for my wedding this May and was so happy with Maggie (makeup) and Stephanie (hair). In December, I had a trial for both hair and makeup. They took their time to listen to me and took pictures so that they could recreate the looks in a few months. On the morning of my wedding, they arrived at 7:00 on the dot--the perfect beginning to my wedding day! All of the bridesmaids were thrilled with their hair and makeup. Maggie and Stephanie stayed on their timeline and completed everyone exactly when they anticipated. Maggie had 7 people for makeup, and Stephanie had 8 for hair. Not only did they do a great job, but we enjoyed spending the day with them. Thank you to Maggie and Stephanie for making my bridal party look and feel beautiful!

Thank you BBP!!! I originally found BBP online and booked them based on the excellent reviews. I was not let down. On my wedding day, BBP took amazing care of me, my MIL, 10 bridesmaids, and two flower girls (with hair and makeup services). I loved working with Maggie and Kristen in particular - who were so friendly and professional, even with my two hair trials. :) My bridesmaids felt beautiful and the prices were very reasonable. The BBP team arrived early in the morning, with a pre-made schedule, and I was able to enjoy the day because I was never feeling rushed. I am so glad I booked them and would recommend the team to anyone looking for on-site hair and makeup!

Beautiful Brides Philly did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them. They provided hair and makeup services for my recent wedding (March 2016). When I asked about pricing and setting up a trial, it was pretty easy. Dana, the owner, was pretty quick to respond to all my questions. Setting up a time for the trials was also pretty easy between Dana and her assistant, Maggie. At the trial, Dana and Stephanie both asked for and listened to feedback. I wanted a light, natural look for the wedding and while it felt like a lot of makeup for someone who doesn't normally wear much, but it looked so natural in photos. Both moms actually got a trials too and enjoyed it. After a few hours, some of the trial hair and makeup did fall apart a little and we let Dana and Stephanie know about this and what we wanted to change for the day of. (Happy to say that the day of work was awesome and everything stayed). A few weeks prior to the wedding, Maggie made a timeline for us to let us know who and when would get hair and makeup services the day of the wedding. Dana and Stephanie arrived on time the day of the wedding and got setup fairly quickly. They were very professional and friendly. It was a bit like having friends over to do your makeup. Dana and Stephanie made sure that all hair and makeup was perfect before they left. The moms and sister-in-law were pleased. My mom looked fabulous and I know she was not an easy customer:-p My makeup looked great and it stayed the day-of. I touched up a little under my eyes (didn't really have to) and reapplied my lip gloss, but everything else stayed put. Stephanie did a great job on my hair. Everyone commented on how gorgeous my updo was and my hair stayed up the entire night. Overall, Beautiful Brides Philly did a great job on hair and makeup. They are affordable, professional, and I would recommend them to any bride.

Appalled. Too much paperwork and contracts are catered to "the owners" needs not the bride. Awful quality. Horrible customer service. Owner is rude and unprofessional. Bobby pins were showing as if a child did my hair. Makeup was cheap. Doesn't return calls. Wish I never used these people.

I found Beautiful Brides through this website, and I contacted them at the same time that I contacted another bridal makeup company. I went with Beautiful Brides because they responded to my inquiry that very day, and they were so professional the whole way through. (I heard back from the other company later that week, and when I was trying to schedule my trial, she was so vague about availability and eventually stopped answering!) I dealt mainly with Maggie. She was so friendly during the planning process. She emailed me a timeline of when each bridesmaid would be worked on, which was helpful so that they knew when they had to be there. They showed up right on time! They worked on everyone from 8:30, and they were done by 11. (I had 6 bridesmaids, plus myself and my mother.) This gave us plenty of time to have fun, take "getting ready" pictures with the photography, and just relax! Carmela did my makeup the day of. She put me right at ease. I had a breakout the night before (probably due to stress!), but you would never have been able to tell. Maggie and Carmela made everyone look like goddesses. We all looked like ourselves, but enhanced. The makeup lasted all night, and we were all sweating on the dance floor too. The makeup artists at Beautiful Brides are pros at what they do. I highly recommend!

Beautiful Brides did a remarkable job on not only my hair and makeup, but everyone in my party. My hair and makeup were flawless and stayed that way throughout the day and into the night. Everyone was so happy with their results, as we each got a range of different styles and looks. Whether it was an updo or a full set of curls, everyone looked their very best. inquired with the company to jave make up only services for my wedding party (10 girls). I spoke with the owner Dana. I provided info about my wedding and then filled out the info sheet she asked me to. She said she would be able to provide the services and so I paid the $200 soft hold to secure the date and booked my trial. The night before the trial I asked if we could change the number of girls to 8 and she said no problem. At the trial Dana quickly reviewed details of the wedding, mentioned timing might be tight, and began applying make up. After make up application and beginning to write up the contract she stated she could not do 8 girls in this time period. She placed all blame on me for not giving her info (such as timing and location), which I had given to her via email and the form she asked me to fill out. She repeatedly mentioned she was the owner and making an exception to do just make up services. I had never asked for the owner or any exceptions. I simply asked if they could provide the services, gave the information they requested, and she said the services could be provided. First she asked me to hire a 3rd make up artist for an additional fee which I agreed to do, then told me she did not have one, then accused me of being unwilling to pay the fee for a 3rd make up artist and when I again said that I would told me she did not have another make up artists available for the second time. She ultimately told me she could only provide services if I hired her for 5 hair styles. I could only do 3 hair styles and she said then I would have to pay for 5 styles. She said the timing would have worked fine if we started earlier but that would involve what she estimated to be 45mins “down time” which she was not willing to do. Since she was unable to provide the services she stated she could I asked for a full refund and she refused. Not to mention make up was horrible.

Beautiful Brides did a great job on my wedding day! Dana is amazing and we had so much fun at their salon for the makeup trial. She also accommodated my ever changing requests for who needed what (don't ask, was a whole MOG situation). I booked site unseen because I live on the West Coast and I was so happy with the choice-- I've never felt more beautiful! My makeup was executed perfectly and they handled my very stubborn Asian hair well. Only reason for the 4 star would be the second artist wasn't as on point as mine, and a few of the girls hairdos were completely gone by the end of the night. After a nightmare experience with another hair and makeup trial with another company, my wedding planner was able to schedule an appointment for me with Beautiful Brides the following day. Dana understood that I was an out of town bride, only in Philadelphia for the weekend, and was so kind to pencil me in on a Sunday, and find stylists available on my wedding day. I had a fantastic experience at the trial, and Dana, Carmela (makeup), and Elisa (hair) really took the time to listen to my concerns. We also had a fantastic experience with Beautiful Brides on my wedding day. Carmela arrived early and got right to work on the bridal party. She is such a talented makeup artist, and made all of the bridesmaids, moms, and bride beautiful. I wish she could come do my makeup everyday! Elisa and Lisa (hair) were equally awesome! So easy to talk to, talented, and caring. I highly recommend hiring Beautiful Brides for your wedding hair and makeup needs. You can trust Dana and her team to make you feel beautiful, both on the inside and outside!

I am so happy I booked Beautiful Brides Philly for my big day. We had 2 girls for Hair and 1 for Make-Up and they were all so personable and made my girls, Moms, and myself look amazing. Dana-the owner was very professional and great to work with and even stopped by the day of the wedding to say Hi and see how everything was going. Overall, you will not be disappointed if you book them and I highly recommend them! We had our wedding in Center City, Philadelphia so got ready in one of the suites at the Marriott. The girls showed up early with all their make-up and hair products and re-organized the room the way they needed. We had 10 people total getting services done they finished all of us early and we had time to get dressed and get some touch-ups. The whole day went smooth!

I had Cate as my stylist, and she was wonderful. She did hair for me and my 6 bridesmaids, and we all looked amazing the entire day! Even better, she finished all of our hair 2 hours ahead of schedule! Speaking of schedules, one of the other reasons that I chose Beautiful Brides is how organized they are. They create a day of schedule for you saying who will be styled at what time, which was very helpful. Also, the fact that they come to you is a huge plus! I was able to get hair and makeup all done in my wedding suite at the hotel; no worrying about getting everyone to a salon!

As a business, this service can't be beat. The flexibility of having beauty professionals come to you on wedding day, which can turn into a tight schedule, is invaluable. Cate did my hair both for my trial and my wedding day and did an incredible job. She was pleasant, enthusiastic and added to the excitement of the morning. I wasn't stressed out over my hair at all (huge for me!) and it looked great all day and night! I'd highly recommend her without any reservations. The disappointment I ran into, unfortunately could have been avoided had Dana communicated with me. I had an incredible hair and makeup trial. I actually had my engagement photos taken later that day (best idea ever if you can swing it) and I love how I look in them. Lauren who did a fabulous job with my makeup at my trial was not with the company when it came time for my wedding day. I understand that this is a very real and unavoidable possibility. However, no one informed me about it until I asked...because I noticed on the schedule Dana emailed me...days before my wedding that Lauren's name was not on it. Dana simply informed me that Lauren was no longer with the company, that she would be doing my makeup herself and that "it will be fine." It was. While my makeup looked good, it wasn't what I expected to get since someone else did my trial. If I had been given the opportunity, I would have gladly paid for another trial to work out the kinks in advance of my wedding day, but I wasn't. I was completely caught off guard that morning and wasn't even able to articulate what the difference was. It was two different styles. Had Dana done my trial I probably would have been happy, but to expect one thing and be blindsided and receive another isn't ideal. It didn't ruin my day but it's truly the only regret I have which is a shame. In the future if someone leaves this company, it'd be great if they could reach out right away to brides who booked them. I don't think that's asking too much.

BBP is amazing! Dana was very easy to communicate with and always quick to respond to emails. Also very accommodating as we had to add on two girls for hair at the last minute! Cate (hair) and Carmela (makeup) arrived early and let me tell you, they work SO fast but are true experts at what they do! There were 7 for hair & 5 for makeup and they finished ahead of schedule! All of my girls were incredibly happy with how they looked! I am the kind of person who hates when I get my hair and makeup done but after my trial, I did a little dance around the studio. On the day of my wedding, it was even better! Both my hair and makeup lasted all night, even through the after party that went on until 4am! Thank you so much to Cate & Carmela for making me feel absolutely beautiful!! I would definitely recommend BBP! You'll be in good hands!

Dana Persia and her team at Beautiful Brides Philly made sure that my family and I looked great! It was easy to schedule a bridal hair and makeup trial, and Stephanie (hair) and Dolly (makeup) were great at listening to what I was going for, and making it work for me. It was also a breeze to schedule services for my MOH, MOB, MOG, and aunts, including accommodating folks who were coming in later that day, and so much less stressful to have the hair and makeup come to us the day of, rather than running around Philly on a Saturday. On the big day, Stephanie and Dolly were great--on time, prepared, friendly, and they made everyone look fantastic! I was able to make adjustments from the trial looks without a problem. They even handled my goofy relatives with panache : ) I would highly recommend!

Beautiful Brides Philly did a terrific job on my hair (Bride), my mom's hair and my three bridesmaids hair styles!! They arrived at my apartment on time and finished all the hair styles early. They were friendly and very professional. I was very pleased with their job well done!!!

Beautiful Brides Philly did an incredible job on my hair and makeup for my wedding! It was exactly what I wanted! They also did my bridesmaids and flower girl! Everyone's hair and makeup looked great and lasted the whole night! They were able to work with all hair types and copy the picture you want almost identically! I highly recommend them!

Working with Dana (owner) was a pleasure in getting hair styled for 4 bridesmaids, my mom, and me! Dana was beyond organized and professional in setting up all the details, confirming/following up, and delivering as planned. Stephanie was our stylist, and all our ladies loved her!
