I want to start by saying that I don't usually give bad reviews, actually this is my first. I felt that I need to make a few things aware to the public before they decided to book with Magdalena. where to start 1. She does not have her Cosmetology license 2. I asked for an appointment trail when she sent me the address I thought it was a salon it was at her apartment 3. she had cats in her apartment and I'm allergic when I told her I was highly allergic she put only one of her cats away I don't understand why you wouldn't have put them both away, she is also a hoarder so the house smelled like kitty litter :( it was extremely uncomfortable I feel like she should have offered a house visit I would have been much more comfortable in my clean home away from cats and ext.. or if she could have cleaned her home if she going to have a client over and put on something other then sweat pants which I could have overlooked if everything else wasn't so awful 4. She texted me 15 min before her appointment she would be 15 min late, I respect peoples time and always arrive early so I just stayed in my car waiting for her to be ready for 30 min 5. She has no ceramic tools to curl hair so my hair was damaged after the styling despite her promising me that a hair heat protectant was being added 6. The hair was not what I wanted and I tried to get a better look at it to see what she could change but she didn't even have a good mirror at hand. How can this be no proper mirror for me to look at your job after being in an uncomfortable home for an hour! 7. She never texted me or asked me how my hair held up that day or what I might want to change... she got her money for the trail and obviously didn't care if I was going to call her back.. I think she is a nice girl she did walk me out with an umbrella. I hope she reads this and changes the way she does business. 1. your in the beauty business its important to look dressed and professional when you meet your clients 2. make house visits bc your home is not set up to take them 3. finish your degree you have potential but your execution is not there yet 4. invest in quality equipment I shouldn't have better quality stuff then my hair dresser 5. Continue report with clients and text after to see how they are enjoying their new do
