Bella Bride Boutique

Unless you solely know you're buying your dream dress at this boutique - stay away from it. They are the only place I looked that have a $150 cancellation fee and they could not have been more rude and condescending when I informed them I found my perfect fit at another boutique. They said that because I already found my dress they were going to charge me $150 even if I showed up to my appointment! Their tone was horrible and I really just can't fathom having an attitude like theirs in such a positive and heartwarming industry. Stay Away.

Over the last couple of days Bella Bride Boutique and I have been talking about my recent experiences with them. They offered their side of the story and my opinion of the salon has changed. They sincerely apologized, and we are both happy to put this behind us.

I found my perfect dress at another store but it ended up being discontinued and couldn't buy in my size. After searching around other stores for months trying to find an alternative, I couldn't get THAT DRESS out of my head. We called around to every store in San Antonio, and Bella Bride said they could still order it! We ordered it in my size and were set. That being said, I felt a little uncomfortable at times in the store; the sales attendants/owners were arguing from time to time behind the register. I wasn't really sure how to react to that. Bella Bridal was perfect for me because I knew the dress I wanted, just needed somewhere to buy it but not sure how I would feel if I was starting from step zero here.

The girls at Bella Bride, especially the owner, Alexandra, are absolutely fantastic. I had purchased a dress from another salon, but decided it just wasn't right for me. I called Bella Bride in crisis mode (as it was only 3 months before my wedding) to see if I could come try on some of the gorgeous Hayley Paige dresses they had in the store. I received the warmest welcome and my consultant, Jill, pulled every single dress I had asked for and made me feel so incredibly confident and special! I found the PERFECT dress and Alexandra put a rush order on it and began calling the Hayley Paige rep every week to check on the status of my dress--without me even having to ask her to do it! And even better, my dress came in two weeks earlier than expected!! Alexandra called me with updates every week and had my dress overnighted to the store as soon as it was ready so I could get any necessary alterations. I cannot explain how much it meant to me that the girls at Bella Bride were so committed to getting me my dress in time and were so concerned with my happiness! Bella Bride is the BEST place to go dress shopping in San Antonio--hands down!!

The ladies that helped me out while I was at Bella were AMAZING! I had no idea what I wanted when I walked in and she was so patient. I ended up finding my dream dress and it was the the first place I went!

I truly had such an incredible experience here at Bella Bride. Caroline helped me - I went in having noooo idea what I wanted, or what would even look good on me (poor Caroline!). I could not have had a better experience with shopping for my wedding dress! I had all my important people along for the ride, and I received such amazing service from Caroline at Bella Bride. She was on point from the beginning! She greeted us immediately, asked about who was with me, asked for styles I was interested, and then started pulling dresses. Bella bride was my first stop to look for a dress as soon as i walked in i was greeted, i was very nervous on describing the type of dress i wanted because in my head it made sense but when i said it out loud it just seemed confusing but they knew exactly what i was looking for. I found the dress and immediately fell in love with it i came in about five different times to try on the same dress and let me just say i went to a lot of different places to try on dresses and not just in San Ant! I ended up moving in the middle of this process so it made it a little more difficult for me travel to San Antonio just whenever. They were so helpful very understanding, patient just my whole experience with them was the best!! I highly recommend this boutique there is no way you could go wrong with them at all!!

I didn’t end up buying my dress here but I just wanted to comment on how fantastic Caroline was! She helped me find such beautiful dresses and really listened to what I was thinking. Her expertise was amazing!!

I really felt unappreciated the whole time I was here. I almost walked out immediately after some comments the consultant made slightly mocking my weight. I felt rushed and like I was just a number. I just did not feel welcome at all.

Great service. Many beautiful gowns. This was my 12th stop to find my wedding dress and every dress I tried on was amazing! Almost went for something completely opposite of what I envisioned. I ended up with a gorgeous A-line dress with a ruffled tulle skirt with lace appliques and beaded bodice, sweetheart neckline with cap sleeves; rhinestone buttons down the illusion-back. It was part of a trunk show from the Stella York 2018 collection and only available that weekend! I said yes to the dress! I also chose a cathedral length veil that had lace trim matching the lace in the dress perfectly. Start with this bridal boutique first!

Went into Bella Bridal Boutique and was greeted by amazing staff! I found my dress literally within an hour due to their knowledge and help. I had a super short engagement and am so thankful they were flexible and willing to help me out. NO stress!!! :)

I appreciated her guidance, her lighthearted attitude, and her ability to make me feel comfortable the whole time. Loved Bella Bride Boutique! The girl who took care of me was super sweet and energetic and made me super excited to be there. The owner of the shop was there too and she was so nice to me and my guest. All the dresses where gorgeous and hard to decide which one was the one, but finally found it. I’m so glad I got my dress at Bella Bride Boutique!

I had an amazing experience with Bella Bride! I shopped around at a couple places in town but the prices and selection were spot on at Bella Bride. I had some mixed feelings about the dress I had originally chosen, so I scheduled a second appointment with Jill. She was able to get me in pretty quickly and was very sweet about accommodating my request. We tried on a couple more dresses, but I ended up purchasing the original selection. She was so much fun to work with and made the experience for easy and stress free. It is a smaller studio with not as much privacy, but they had a good selection and variety of styles. The atmosphere was great and my family had a good time. Thank you Jilly Bean for all your help!

Bella Bride was the first boutique my bridesmaids and I walked into, and it turns out we could have skipped all the others! I even ended up choosing the very first dress they picked out for me. All the girls were extremely helpful and great at what they did.

Bella Bride Boutique was the first and last bridal salon that I walked in to! My vision of my wedding dress was somewhat fluid, though there were several characteristics which I did or did not like from the beginning. The girls at Bella listened to my ideas and then helped me choose several options to try based on this as well as my figure. Despite being completely against a strapless dress at the beginning of the appointment, by the end I had fallen in love with an elegant yet simple Mikaella gown that Caroline suggested. When I wanted to keep a few other appointments prior to locking the dress down she was a little pushy, but I appreciated this in the end and absolutely made the right decision by going with this dress. I returned to order a custom veil and though the wrong one was delivered initially, Bella made it right and ensured that I had the correct veil in time for my wedding. Overall a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend them!

Loved Bella bride! They were super helpful and never forced me into anything. After my first appointment they told me about a trunk show for the designer I liked, which includes a discount if I decided to buy! After my second fitting, I decided I wanted to go to one more boutique! They were so nice about it ... I ended up coming back and buy a dress from Bella bride and so happy about it!

Do not bother going to this store. I went to 8 bridal salons total during my search for the perfect dress and this was by far the worst experience. My entire group was offended and shocked by some of the comments that our rep, Caroline, said. Our first sign to leave should have been when she asked my budget and I responded with it was not set in stone. She snapped back with "So if I throw a $5,000 dress at you right now, are you ready to pay that much." My budget is, in fact, unlimited; so her comment was uncalled for. She proceeded with several disrespectful comments to my grandmother, which didn't go over well with my family. Her assistance was far from helpful in the dressing room - she was basically throwing the dresses on me and then hurrying me along to show my family, then yanking the dress off me immediately. She also pointed out one dress that had been custom made for a bride who had cancelled her wedding. When I joked that that would be bad luck, she changed her mind and said that the bride had just decided to elope and didn't need a "fancy dress." After leaving, we all regretted not leaving the store immediately after her initial comments at the beginning of our appointment. Even if I had found the perfect dress here, I wouldn't have wanted to support a business that treats their customers this way.

Picking out my dress at bella bride was an amazing experience. They were so helpful and really made me feel special, and find my dream dress! When we tried to go in again later to pick out a veil they were not a friendly or accommodating... It almost felt as though they had made the big sale and I was no longer a priority. It ended up working out because the place they recommend for alterations (Bridal Perfect Fit), had amazing handmade veils that were way prettier and half the price of those at Bella bride.

Bella Bride is the place to go! All of the ladies here were unbelievably sweet and helpful (Caroline specifically helped me a ton, THANK YOU!). They really made my dress buying experience the most fun and un-stressful. I actually came without any knowledge of what I really wanted and they made sure to put me in various styles until I narrowed down what I liked best. They asked my budget and were super mindful of it - I left the first day without being pressured whatsoever and came back to purchase a couple weeks later. I just picked up my dress (which came in exactly around when they said it would) and I couldn't be happier with my decision to purchase from here!

The ladies at Bella Bride are so sweet, fun, and helpful. After briefly talking to me about what I was looking for, they took one look at me and put me in my dream dress! This store is amazing in customer service, not to mention the wide variety of beautiful dresses they have to offer. I would highly recommend coming here to find your wedding dress!

During my dress shopping journey I visited salons all over San Antonio, Austin, even Seattle. Bella Bride was seriously THE BEST bridal salon I visited during my lengthy dress shopping experience. They were never pushy and were honest with worked best for my wedding day - they even put up with some tear shed by myself and my mother (The champagne offered a nice relief from the stress). I ended up making two appointments at this location and found the perfect dress during my second visit. I even stopped by a week before my wedding for the most perfect earrings. I live in Pleasanton, Texas. I was looking online and found this Essence of Australia gown that I really liked. Website said it was available at Bella Bride. I didn't make an appointment and drove to San Antonio to check out the gown. As I walked in I was greeted, Tracey was the lady who helped me and at that time she was pregnant. She was so helpful and I showed her what I was looking for and she found the dress I had seen online. I tried it on and fell in love with it. My friend was with me and told me lets go to another store and see if you end up liking another one. We ended up at another place and I tried on about 4 more dresses and didn't feel the way I did with the one I tried on at Bella Bride. Couple days later went back to Bella Bride and bought the dress. Bella Bride is the best store, I definitely recommend any bride to go to Bella Bride. Great customer service, great boutique! And happy bride!!!! Thank you Bella Bride Boutique!

I was one of there first customers after they opened last year and came in the first time with no appointment. I fell in love with one dress but wanted to sleep on it. 2 weeks later I made an appointment and ended up falling in love with a lace mermaid by Ellis of London. Both times I was there they treated me like family. And when I finally picked a dress the popped a bottle and we toasted to it. Most amazing experience ever.

I am from Odessa, TX, but my sister lives in San Antonio, so I figured it would be easy to look for a dress there. I thought I wanted a particular dress designer, so I based my appointments on stores who carried that designer. From the beginning, the customer service was impeccable. I was contacted directly about my appointment and notified when there was a small change. Everyone I worked with was very accommodating. I visited another store and had a terrible experience so I was feeling a little defeated...until I walked into Bella Bride Boutique. Caroline immediately greeted me, calling me by name and making my guests and me feel welcome. She seated my entire "peanut gallery" in a section around the mirror and helped us pick out a few dresses. I tried on a dress completely different than the styles I had envisioned myself in; of course, it was *the* dress. Everyone at Bella Bride made me (and my aforementioned peanut gallery) feel very welcome, at ease, and like friends. It was a very relaxed yet still elegant atmosphere and I am so glad I found my dress there. Brides, I strongly encourage you to give Bella Bride Boutique a chance if you're in the area! The customer service is outstanding and I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

I'm from Dallas but my parents live in San Antonio. I visited Bella Bride with my mother to try on gowns for the first time. It was such a great experience, we had the whole boutique to ourselves and were able to try on as many gowns as I wanted. One of the first gowns I tried on ended up being my dress, but I didn't make that decision until I tried the dress on again back in Dallas. I did go back to Bella for the gorgeous coordinating veil however. The ladies were always so sweet and accommodating, great boutique!

After going to three other stores in the San Antonio area, and about to venture off to Dallas, I stumbled upon Bella w/ one of my bridesmaids - best stumble ever! The women there are extremely nice and make you feel very special. The selection isn't huge, as its a boutique, but I guarantee they have a few of every style. I found my dress, which was more beautiful than I could've ever imagined, and within my budget! I also got my veil, earrings and bracelet, and hair comb here. Everything was priced so well! They are very helpful and I definitely recommend this salon as the best in San Antonio!

I made an appointment in March at this salon. The ladies were incredibly nice and helpful. The only issue I had is that I am a size 12 (size 14/16 bridal) and there were no gowns that really fit me. It was difficult to fall in love with a dress that did not fit properly. They were willing to work with my budget which was very nice, but in the end I found my gown elsewhere.
