Bella Christie's was attentive, kind, and great to work with. Our tasting was AMAZING and we were excited to have both mini cupcakes and a smaller cake for our wedding. They are responsive and make sure your experience is always a positive one!

Our cake was so delicious! Paulina helped us work out a design that matched our aesthetic perfectly.

We decided to have a dessert table instead of cookie table for our wedding. What a fantastic decision. Everything was delicious and the display was amazing. Our guests were very impressed!

This boutique came to us recommended from a few different people that we knew. We are so glad we chose them to provide us with our cake, extra desserts, and a station table. We did our cake tasting and worked directly with Mia. She was a gem from the start in getting our options and what we were looking for. She made suggestions the day of our tasting, and we ended up ordering an additional cake for our rehearsal dinner. The artistry on both cakes were above and beyond what we were expecting. Two days before the wedding I could NOT find flowers I wanted for the cake to save my life. I called them and they were able to give me suggestions on where to find what I was looking for. The cake truly turned out so beautiful. Mia and her team also set up our entire cookie table design with no input from myself and it received many compliments, especially from guests on my side who are not from Pittsburgh! We also did a liquid nitrogen station with them and guests got a kick out of it! They really did go above and beyond on making our day extra special.

We used the McCandless PA location as our wedding dessert and cake service, and they were wonderful! Very easy to call them up, get everything planned and ordered, and on the day of they deliver and set up for you! We also had gluten allergies that were able to accomodate and let me tell you - the most amazing, delicious, and moist gf cake and cupcakes I have ever tasted. We were able to get 50% of the treats gluten free, they differentiate with wrapping colors, and their pricing is so fair. Can't recommend them enough.

Bella Christie delivered a beautiful and delicious wedding cake! We did a vanilla cake and vanilla buttercream. We are so happy with how it turned out and think it looks even better than our inspiration photo!

My wife and I got married last Saturday at the Warhol Museum and chose Bella Christie as our wedding cake vendor. The cake was beautiful and, of course, delicious! Requests were perfectly accommodated!

Bella Christie's is amazing! They did our wedding cake, grooms cake, and we had two stations. Mia was great to work with and the cakes turned out incredible. They also were so delicious. Guests loved the nitrogen stations, which I also recommend!

Bella Christie's was one of the cake vendors we got to choose from in our catering package. After we left the cake tasting, we couldn't wait to eat the cake on our wedding day. We went with a simple vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and all of our guests kept asking for more! We also had the Nitro Ice Cream Station at our wedding (instead of cookies) and it was a hit! They brought liquid nitrogen Cheetos and all our guests can't stop talking about them! It was a fun addition to the wedding and it made for great laughs! They have a lot of different stations to choose from and I highly recommend spending the little extra money to have one at your wedding!

I was always intrigued to try Bella Cristie's as I grew up near their bakery location and could never help but notice their iconic pink colored building. My fiance and I then decided our wedding would be the perfect opportunity to try out the bakery while doing a wedding cake tasting; and boy they certainly didn't disappoint! The variety of cake flavors and fillings is incredibly impressive! With all the variety available, they even helped to suggest certain flavors that they thought we would like and what paired well together. They provide 3 layers of filling which was more than many other locations, and the vanilla buttercream icing they use for the outside is divine! We went with a yellow cake with 2 layers of strawberry compote and 1 layer of Bavarian cream. It was incredibly delicious. As a bonus, you don't have to save your top tier because they will provide a new one for your anniversary.

Bella Christie's was included as part of our wedding package and we couldn't be happier that they were! The tasting options we all amazing and so difficult to choose for our wedding cake. We shared photo inspiration for our cake design and they did an amazing job bringing it to life. Numerous guests have asked since the wedding where the cake was from because they loved it so much!

We came to Bella Christie & Lil Z’s with high hopes and a fairly abstract cake idea. The day we met to plan everything out, we refined our vision, settled on an incredible flavor combination, and a modest price. We felt a level of control and personalized attention we hadn’t at other vendors, and it remained through the delivery of the cake itself. And rather than instructions on how to freeze our cake to eat a year later (what a waste of space!), they simply offered to recreate our top tier on our anniversary. Excellent presentation, good attention to detail despite the logistical nightmare of a 2020 wedding, and a flavorful cake with plenty to enjoy as leftovers were the highlights of our experience with Bella Christie & Lil Z’s Sweet Boutique.

I had the wonderful pleasure to work with Amanda & Rachel making pie selections for our wedding. My husband isn't a big fan of cake, so we decided to do pie instead =) Amanda made the tasting part of the planning a lot of fun! She was very thorough too when in came to the details. We ended up doing miniature pies for the guests & she suggested to go boxes & gluten free pies for guests that had dietary concerns. She really thought of everything! Very pleased & very satisfied!

I let my future husband choose the wedding cake for our wedding and let me tell you that he chose the best! I used them for both the wedding cake and groom's cake. They did an excellent job putting my idea of a groom’s cake together based on a few photos that I had shown them. We used a funfetti batter as this was what my future husband wanted the wedding cake to be but I didn't. It was delicious! The wedding cake looked EXACTLY how I wanted it down to every detail and was absolutely to die for. We had cream cheese and raspberry jam filling with buttercream frosting. I cannot wait to have it replicated for our anniversary! I also tried a few of their cupcakes while at the bakery and they were delicious as well!

I might be a little biased, but the cake we got for our wedding was the absolute best! It amazing and delicious. Our guests loved and could not stop talking about it. We are not a fan of fondant, so they recommended designed buttercream and it was a delight. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

This cake was amazing! We got a 3-tier white vanilla cake with a berry Chantilly filling. Our guests raved about it, and we had extra to take home. We asked for a simple design that was executed perfectly, and perhaps the best part is that they offered a 1-year anniversary mini tier included in the price so we didn't have to save our top tier and got to use it to serve to our guests. They also provided cookies for our cookie table and we barely had any of theirs left. Highly, highly recommend.

Bella Christie always does such an amazing job! I use them for birthday parties. The cake tasting was easy and fun! The cake itself was amazing!!!! It was everything we visioned and more! They are super super busy so just be prepared to hear back closer to the wedding date. Other than that they were amazing!

My husband and I tried a lot of cake during our engagement (like A LOT of cake) and their cake was hands down the best we tried during our tastings!! We even agreed it was a standout including any other wedding we’ve been to!! Rachel set up an amazing tasting with multiple flavors and fillings that we chose! I loved this personal touch because my husband and I aren’t a huge fan of chocolate cake and fillings and despite telling bakeries this, they kept trying to feed us it because it was in their go to tasting set up. We were able to have an extremely customized cake that had an incredibly soft and moist sponge with various creams and fillings. We did a three tiered semi naked cake with American buttercream. Our sponge was an almond base and with Bavarian cream with alternating raspberry and blueberry mouse throughout the tiers. We also had them make a custom grooms cake that was two red velvet sponges sandwiching vanilla cheesecake. We unfortunately didn’t get to even try this because our caterers never set it out (we apparently didn’t need it as they explained to us after). But the wedding cake itself was out of this world! If you are out of the area- be aware that their delivery fee is $5 a mile (which adds up rather quickly). Other than this, we agreed that we could not have been happier with our decision to have our cake from Bella Christie’s!!

Rachel did a fabulous job with our cookie table. It was simply gorgeous and so well displayed. The textures and dimensions added to the overall ambiance of the night. With the different tiers and many delicious desserts from homemade cookies to pie pops to parfaits. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Bella Christie's is a wonderful addition to any event.

The created our cake just exactly as we drew it. It was stunning and delicious. We also had cupcakes which were loved by EVERYONE. They made a beautiful display!

After the first meeting/tasting appointment my husband and I knew we were going to use them! We were so highly impressed by the professionalism at the initial meeting. We had done a few other tastings, and no one compared to their quality of service. I mentioned that I usually like my buttercream frosting more on the sweeter side, and the woman we were working with went straight to the back and mixed up a combination of frostings to suit my liking. It was exactly what I was looking for! I love that they also offer to make you a fresh 1 year anniversary cake… I’m sure it will be much tastier than something sitting in the freezer for a year! Our wedding cake was so tasty and beautiful; we received MANY compliments from our guests. I also love how they can make anything gluten free since we had a few gluten free guests. I even forgot a personal item at the boutique, and they held it for me and called to remind me about it after I had yet again forgotten about it. They go above and beyond for their customers. I have used Bella Christie and Lil Z’s Sweet Boutique for birthdays, and now my wedding. I will continue to use them in the future, and recommend them to anyone who will listen.

We loved our wedding cake and cupcakes from Bella Christie! The team was very easy to work with and very accommodating with us since we were planning our wedding from out of town. They created the exact wedding cake of our dreams (white piping with hidden Mickeys)! Their mini-cupcakes were absolutely perfect for us and it was great letting guests have the option to try more than one (amazing) flavor!

Bella Christie's did a fantastic job on my wedding cake!!! Not only was it exactly what I asked for (it is based on a photo I found online.) But they also called me to double check on everything before they began to make it! I absolutely loved it and it tasted phenomenal! It had a fondant cover for the designs, below that was vanilla butter cream to hold the fondant to the cake, the cake itself was marble cake with 2 layers of dulce de leche and 1 layer of raspberry butter cream filling (It was those three layers of filling in each tier.) All of my guests loved the cake and my husband and I can't stop eating the left overs! I recommend at least a taste testing here if you're looking for someone to make a cake for a special occasion! Also check out their Facebook to really get an idea of how amazing they are with cakes, because mine in particular was a very simple design and I am always amazed when I see them post their creations! Also I did stop in their Lawrenceville location a few months ago to try one of their shakes with my sisters and mom, though they are expensive they were really cool to try and I'd love to stop by again to try something else of theirs!

They were completely awesome! It was so easy to book, they responded promptly to my request and after our tasting we were convinced. They have reasonable prices and were willing to work with us to tailor it to our budget. Once we decided on our desserts, they took care of the rest and came to the venue to set it up which as a huge relief. Our guests are still raving about the dessert table! My husband and I never got any because they were gone so fast! The smores-tini and strawberry shortcake pushpops were the guest favorites!

This bakery literally blew me away. Their cake and other confections are actually delicious, but the artistry that they achieve is amazing! I booked them for my shower and wedding. So many of my guests asked me who did my cakes and we received a lot of compliments on them. Follow them on Instagram - their work is crazy! Highly recommended. The best in the city - we’ve looked!!

Bella Christie is the best! We did cake tastings at 3 different vendors and knew immediately that this was the best choice. From the initial meeting, where they let us mix and match all sorts of cake and topping flavors we felt they were organized, professional, and delicious! My husband and I are not crazy for cake and we asked if they could do cupcakes instead - they made the most adorable mini-cupcakes that really allowed us to add a unique element to our wedding and greatly expand the flavors available. I kept seeing guests making repeat trips to the cupcake table for more servings - they were that good. Highly recommend!

Not only was our cake gorgeous but it was also DELICIOUS! Amanda at Bella Christie was so easy to work with and truly cared about our preferences. Communication with her was very prompt. We ended up adding the gourmet s'mores station (highly recommended) and our guests loved them, it was a nice add-on to a classic cookie table. We can't wait to get our fresh cake for our one year anniversary.

Best cake ever! When we booked a wedding package with our reception venue we were given three bakery options - Bella Christie was the only one I was not familiar with. Of course we sampled all three and Bella Christie was the clear winner. Not only is the batter a cut above the others, the service was exceptional. Amanda went out of the way to cater to us and seemed just as excited to bring our cake design ideas to life as we were. On our wedding day the cake turned out beautiful - just as I’d pictured! And tasted amazing - we went with a chocolate chip batter with nutella and white chocolate mousse fillings. Our guests continue to rave about the cake. Even the foodiest of the foodies. Great job Bella Christie and Amanda! Highly recommend!

We worked with Amanda to create the cake and dessert bar for our wedding and could not have been happier! Right off the bat, I need to say that I'm amazed at the quality and the amount of cake and desserts we were able to have at what I believe was a VERY reasonable price for such a high-end product. Our cake tasted AMAZING. And Amanda was a pleasure to work with. During our tasting session, she made flavor suggestions we wouldn't have thought of or considered, which we ended up going with over what we initially thought we had wanted. She listened and understood our vision completely, so that she was able to create a cake that matched exactly what we had in mind for a beautiful minimalist aesthetic, and a dessert bar that was completely fitting for a fall wedding. We'll definitely be going back to Bella Christie to taste some of those wonderful desserts we didn't get to try the night of the wedding because the dessert bar was nearly gone by the time we got to it... we got so many compliments on how delicious it all was!

We had a fairly small cocktail party style reception, so I didn't want a giant traditional wedding cake. We hired Bella Christie to provide a dessert table instead and it was AMAZING! Amanda was so easy to work with and helped us choose enough dessert options so all of our guests could find something to enjoy. Everything looked and tasted fantastic and we couldn't be happier. Bella Christie is now my go-to when I need anything sweet! They also provided silver and gold stands to display the treats and little signs so everyone could easily tell what each thing was. Wonderful experience from start to finish, and based on what I've seen I know they make some pretty incredible wedding cakes too, if that's more your style. Loved working with Amanda!! We didn't have a wedding cake for our big day. We wanted to have desserts that me and my groom really enjoyed instead. So we had a huge sweets table full of brownies, cookies, dessertini's, cake pops and more! It was beautiful! Every piece was perfect and delicious. Also - I had to reschedule my wedding due to Hurricane Harvey (we live in Houston, but got married in Pittsburgh). And Amanda was so understanding and genuinely concerned for me and my whole family. It was such a relief knowing that I could count on this wonderful bakery to be there for me on my NEW wedding day. Thank you so so so much!!!

Delicious! They made and designed anything we wanted no problem. They set our cupcake display up beautifully, and the cake was DELICIOUS!! Many people took home boxes of cupcakes and loved every flavor they tried. Amanda has a gift. We loved working with this company!!

After scheduling the cake tasting for our wedding cake, we already knew Bella Christie would be different. The other bakeries we tried had a default flavor they gave us (wedding white or red velvet), without even asking for our thoughts and the tasting experiences themselves were awful (pushy staff, no seating, lack of options, small tasting portions). From the get go, Amanda instructed us to choose the cake flavors and fillings we wished to try. At the Aspinwall location, they had a nice table to sit at, offered us drinks, and brought us each three giant slices of cake in the desired flavors with the filling options in the center of the table. It was so fun to mix and match the different choices. Everything was delicious and the quality of the piping and design was fantastic! We've received so many compliments. We decided on chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and espresso buttercream fillings.

We used Bella Christie for our wedding - we did the works - cake, dessert table, and the liquid nitrogen station. Let me just tell you that my jaw hit the floor when I saw my dessert room - it was INSANE. Amanda and her team went above and beyond. We have had multiple guests tell us that it was the most phenomenal desserts they ever had at a wedding. The liquid nitrogen station was fantastic also - guests loved it -- there was a line wrapped outside of the room for people to get in to the desserts and liquid nitrogen. We were so thrilled with Bella Christie, and thank them for all their amazing work!

We had guests tell us that our cake was their favorite part of the wedding! I have celiac, and they were able to make a DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL gluten free cake that I would eat every single day. I sent a picture of the cake I liked, and they made something that looked just like it - but maybe even better. Absolutely beautiful. Amanda was a godsend!

We worked specifically with Dimitri at Bella Christie and Lil' Z's Sweet Boutique and he was a joy to work with throughout the planning process. He was helpful, prompt in responding, knowledgeable, and flexible with just about anything that we asked of him. He also worked our fondue table the day of the wedding and the guests loved him as well as the product. We even had people taking their frozen fondue into the photo booth because the enjoyed it so much. I would 100% recommend Dimitri and Lil' Z's Sweet Boutique to anyone looking for a fun cake alternative.

Bella Christie's was so easy to work with! During our first few emails, we set up a time to meet for a tasting. We were able to select specific choices that we wanted to taste. It was hard to choose, because everything was so good! In the end, we were able to make a selection of flavors that we were so happy with. When it came time to choosing the design, Amanda worked closely with us in coming up with the perfect ideas. After our meeting, we came up with numerous changes, and worked it al out with Amanda via email, although we could have also set up another appointment to work with her. She was quick to respond, and gave us many suggestions to come to our final design. When we had questions about how certain changes would affect the price, she was able to get back to us with updated estimates based on the changes we were asking about. Amanda and the team at Bela Christie truly went above and beyond. They even worked with us in designing a special cookie for our night. When we finally arrived to the reception, we were stunned by how beautiful our cake ended up being. Even better, thought, was how delicious it was. We will definitely order from them again in the future!!

The red velvet cake was delicious and the scroll very delicate. We loved it!

Hands down, the best! I was so overly pleased with our wedding cake I want to order it over and over again! Not only was it the most delicious cake I have ever tasted but it was beyond stunning!! I could not have imagined anything better! There are not enough words to explain how overjoyed we were!!

I cannot say enough good things about Amanda at Bella Christies! She is such a professional from setting up the first tasting to delivering our cake and cupcakes. It was so fun doing the tasting with her, there were so many varieties to pick from and all of the flavors were so good. We went with a small cutting cake that was hazelnut cake with espresso buttercream and very berry compote, it was so flavorful and the frosting was to die for, I love her special style of buttercream, it’s the perfect sweetness without being cloyingly sweet. We also went with cupcakes for all of our guests. We loved that we could pick any of their flavors they offer and she even let us special order singles of some flavors to taste before picking which she definitely did not have to do. There really were no bad options and all our guests loved the variety of flavors we had. I would go back to her for any type of dessert again and again! The display and decorations were literally the icing on top, it was gorgeous and fit perfectly with our overall wedding.

I ordered both my bridal shower cake and wedding cake from here and they were delicious!

A little pricier than some options in the Pittsburgh area, but so delicious. If you get the chance to try their cupcakes, you'll get a little taste of how identically scrumptious their wedding cake will be. Not to mention the cake decoration quality is superb!

We chose to have a small cake and assorted cupcakes for our wedding. We could not have picked a better vendor to help in making our day purely perfect. From the time we met Amanda we knew Bella Christie & Lil Z's were the ones we wanted. We met once, making note of the theme for our wedding and our desires, hitting the nail on the head with their display and delicious cupcakes.

We got married on November 12, 2016. We selected Bella Christie to make the cake for our wedding. It was absolutely delicious! We had a literary themed wedding and they were able to incorporate quotes from "Pride and Prejudice" on our cake. Amanda helped us design our cake and she was very helpful and easy to get a hold of.

We used Bella Christie's for our wedding cake and the Nitro Bar. The Nitro Bar was a huge hit, everyone enjoyed it, most guests went up multiple times! As for the cake, we were very disappointed. While it tasted amazing and was what we had asked for, the presentation was very bad. It had been dropped off too early in the day and the icing was starting to fall off of it and there were almost, the only way I can describe it to be is, holes on both sides of the cake to where the photographer couldn't get any good angles on it to take a decent picture of us cutting it. Very unhappy with the cake but that being said, Amanda was great to work with and we had great communication with her. Would recommend.

Absolutely perfect! Hands down this was the best part of our Labor Day weekend wedding. The presentation was setup beautifully and they were delicious to top it off. We received so many complements on the sweets bar. Our wedding cake was phenomenal as well! We're looking forward to a freshly baked one year anniversary cake! :)

Bella Christie's was the best! We worked with Amanda Byrne and she was fantastic. We actually got to meet her right after having met with a rather unfriendly caterer, so the contrast just made Amanda stand out even more. She was friendly, reassuring, had all the information we needed at her fingertips! She is very quick to reply to emails and had a lot of experience that let her offer solutions quickly to any issues that arose. Bella Christie's handled not only our display of mini-cheesecakes (which we chose instead of a traditional cake - they were so delicious!) but the cookie table as well, and it was gorgeous! Their talent for display helped all of our desserts to shine! I am so glad we chose Bella Christie's and would 10/10 do so again. Highly recommend!
