Bella Terra Venue is a stunning, one-of-a-kind rustic grey and white barn wedding venue located in Gunter, TX, that can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests. Our 5,000 sq. ft. main barn features a spacious prep kitchen and luxurious private bridal and groom suites, complemented by 2,000 sq. ft. of covered porches for seasonal comfort. Additionally, Bella Terra Venue offers a cozy solid wood outdoor pavilion surrounded by gorgeous Texas plants and flowers, complete with hand-crafted wooden benches, shaded areas, and a charming well-water feature overlooking our serene 2-acre pond.

Owner
Bella Terra Venue was designed by Jim and build in love for Debra in 2018/19. After years of dating, it was time for them to marry. As the story goes, Jim was itching to build something so Debra said, "Build me something to get married in." The result is Bella Terra Venue. Their wedding was the first in February 2019 and Bella Terra has been home to beautiful celebrations ever since.

From the very first tour to the day of our wedding, Bella Terra exceeded every single one of our expectations. Their communication throughout the entire process was exceptional—we truly felt like they cared about making our day as special and seamless as possible.
One of the many things that stood out to us was how accommodating they were. They even allowed us to come by for an hour with our photographer to do an engagement shoot on the property, which turned out beautifully! Leading up to the big day, they stayed in close contact with us. They even reached out to our our day-of coordinator and all of our vendors a couple of weeks before our wedding to ensuring that everyone was on the same page and ready to bring our vision to life.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We were initially drawn to Bella Terra for the breathtaking beauty of the barn—it’s the kind of place that looks magical in any season. We had a February Wedding. The flexibility to choose our own vendor team was a huge selling point for us. They provide the venue, tables, and chairs and let you take the reins on the rest of the design and décor, which was perfect for us as a hands-on couple who wanted to personalize every detail. I loved having the canvas, we got to design our wedding however we wanted to.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how gorgeous everything was, and we’re still getting compliments! There are so many gorgeous spots at the venue to take photos! Bella Terra helped make our dream wedding a reality, and we’re so grateful for their support, kindness, and professionalism every step of the way.

Bella Terra is a beautiful venue with fantastic ownership. My husband and I held our wedding there in October 2023, and we couldn’t have picked a better location for our ceremony + reception.
We appreciated how easy it was to get in touch with Debra as questions came up during the planning process. It set our minds at ease and helped us relax knowing we were in good hands.
The wedding itself was beautiful. We held our ceremony under the outdoor pavilion which had a nice cool breeze and of course, beautiful scenery surrounding it. The post-ceremony photos came out better than we could’ve asked for due to the lovely countryside landscape.
The venue was spacious and our guests were comfortable and enjoying themselves thoroughly. We got a lot of feedback later on that our wedding was a favorite amongst our attendees.. and I have no doubt that Bella Terra had something to do with that. We definitely recommend hosting your special day here !

Debra was in constant communication with us—whether we had questions or concerns, she always responded quickly via text or email. The entire team was incredibly kind and helpful on the big day. I'm so glad we picked Bella Terra for our wedding reception! Everyone from the wedding told me how beautiful this venue is, and they're 100% correct. It makes for excellent photos! The area gives a secluded feel, but it's also close to Frisco, Prosper, McKinney, and Celina. Debra was AMAZING to work with! She is super responsive and willing to work with you to make sure you have everything you need for the big day, all the way until the big day! Jim was super helpful with the table layout. I was super stressed out but he gave great advice on how to make good use of the space, but have plenty of room to dance! Bridal suite was cozy, and everything in the venue was clean! I would DEFINITELY recommend this venue to anyone wanting to get married!

Our wedding was 9.23.23 and we cannot say enough AMAZING things about The Bella Terra! This venue is absolutely breath taking and everything we have dreamed of and more! The host are absolutely amazing as well. We are so thankful we found this venue and chose to have our wedding here. We did not want the day to end! So beautiful.

We recently had our wedding at Bella Terra in March, and cannot say enough wonderful things about the venue itself and the owners, Jim and Debra! The venue is naturally beautiful and gives a very country, rustic feel without being too far away from major cities. We loved the layout and having the option to do outdoor or indoor accommodations, we were so fortunate to have nice enough weather to get married outside under the pavilion! Jim and Debra were easy to work with and so flexible and accommodating from beginning to end! Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an affordable, clean, versatile and overall stunning place in the North Texas region to say “I do!”

I can’t say enough great things about Bella Terra! We just had our wedding there this past October and we had such a perfect day celebrating there! This is the perfect rustic barn with an awesome bar, the outside grounds looked amazing and well kept as well. The new pavilion outside for the ceremony is SO beautiful that you don’t even need to decorate anything. I highly recommend this venue for your perfect wedding day.

When we were looking for a venue for my daughter's wedding, we walked into Bella Terra and tears immediately came to her eyes! This beautiful venue was her every dream to marry the love of her life! It was stunningly perfect! With pandemic challenges, we had to postpone, and Jim and Debra were so accommodating. You will not find a better venue, one that allows you to create your wedding and reception down to the last detail. All questions or concerns were answered quickly. There were no surprise costs, or hidden fine print. These owners became our friends. They love what they do, and they care about you and your special day. My daughter's wedding was spectacular. All of our guests (110) were comfortable and well taken care of. The grounds are beautiful, the wedding outside in the pavilion was magical! We danced inside for hours, which seemed like seconds! I cannot say enough great things about our experience, it really was perfect! Thank you again to Jim and Debra. I highly recommend Bella Terra, you will not be disappointed!!

We had our wedding at this BEAUTIFUL venue in June of 2021. Our day was absolutely perfect at Bella Terra. The owners, Debra and Jim, are incredibly personable, easy to work with, professional, knowledgeable and organized. The venue is very reasonably priced.
The new ceremony pavilion was absolutely perfectly placed on this gorgeous property, the barn is rustic and beautifully finished, our caterer RAVED about the kitchen area. Everything photographs beautifully. The flow of the reception area is perfect and didn’t feel cramped….I just cannot say enough good things about this venue.

This venue was absolutely perfect! So tasteful, clean, timeless, and relevant. The outdoor pavilion was just completed, where we had our ceremony, and it could not have been more ideal. The setup from the pavilion to the beautiful barn where the reception was held was fantastic. The scenic backdrops that are built-in with farmland, a lake, and the sunset add touches of their own. We didn't need much decorating because the venue decorates itself. Debra and her husband were so easy and enjoyable to work with. They were the most accommodating and professional yet personable. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host 200 guests at a reasonable price.

Bella Terra is the most beautiful venue we could have ever asked for. The day was completely perfect. Leading up to our big day, Jim & Debra were so helpful and always answered all of our questions very quickly. They made you instantly feel like family and were so kind. Heather was the manager the day of our wedding and she was absolutely amazing! She was so helpful and on top
of every single thing on our big day. We are so thankful for the amazing team at Bella Terra, they helped us create our dream wedding. We also really loved Jim & Debra’s story and that they got married at the venue. It is such a special place and will forever be in our hearts as the official beginning of our forever.

Bella Terra was my first choice from the beginning but once I saw it - I fell in love! Debra and Jim were so great to work with. They had answers to questions I didn't even know that I had. They are always easy to get ahold of and always so friendly.
The venue is set out away from highways and streets which makes it extremely private for your event. The old blue truck is a great place for photos. The bridal suite is big enough for everyone to get ready and hair and make up were a breeze with all the vanity space. The groom's suite was super cool and modern but my guys mostly used the outside porch area for football throwing and cigar smoking. My entire event came off without a hitch and I can't thank Debra, Jim and Tonya enough for their help.

It was truly an honor to get married at the Bella Terra Venue. Jim and Debra were extremely flexible and easy to work with! They answered so many of our questions, especially last minute ones and were always super fast to respond. The venue is perfect if you are looking for a rustic/country themed wedding! What a beautiful venue and property! Jim and Deb are very friendly and accommodating!! My dear friend chose this venue for her wedding and I was a bridesmaid . The building was clean, spacious, warm and so inviting!! The lighting in the main room was so pretty in the evening. The bridal suite had everything a bride could need for the big day and was able to fit a bride, bridesmaids, and hair/make up specialists nicely ...again, very spacious. The layout of the building has a nice flow, making it easily accessible to get around from one place to another. I highly recommend Bella Terra! Jim and Deb will treat you right!!!

LOVE this place! It’s gorgeous and has a beautiful scenery. I looked forever for somewhere that had everything I needed and this was it PLUS is super affordable in comparison to places similar. Jim and Debra were so sweet and personable! While we didn't go with their venue (simply due to our own personal tastes only) we really liked their venue and them! The barn is brand new and beautiful with great porches, suites, and catering kitchen. Their pricing and policies were also very reasonable and up front. We would highly recommend Bella Terra to anyone!
