We hired Cal for our rehearsal dinner and wedding 3 weeks ago. This was money well spent. The detail put into the wedding, for 230 people, was just as wonderful as the much smaller rehearsal dinner the night before. The set up for all the food was very elegant and looked like an extravaganza. I'm not sure how they do it but we didn't run out of anything but we also didn't have a ton of food left over at the end of the night to throw away. Which means I didn't have to pay for food to be thrown away. Not only was Cal an absolute delight to work with but Tanya, his right hand woman, and the rest of his staff were polite, helpful, seemed excited to be a part of our day and incredibly hard work, running around all night to make sure our guests and I were well taken care of. Not to mention that the food was absolutely delicious. I still have my guests calling me to let me know how i had the best wedding food ever. Cal and Tanya thank you so much for making my day so special. I'm convinced that it would not have worked out without you all. And I can't wait to hire you for all big events in my life

BEST WEDDING FOOD EVER!!!!! I have so many people still telling me "wow your dinner was actually amazing" wedding food is normally not that great but Cal Berry did an incredible job! If you can book him you NEED to! We did pass trays, meals for 180 people and dessert and everything was absolutely excellent!

Cal has been insanely rude and unprofessional from the start. He was never been available to meet and will only discuss things over the phone, which he always sounded too. From what I understand, he lives in California and tried to run his business from there. Not to mention the food presentation or quality was subpar. It was the talk of the wedding how disappointing the food was.

My husband and I hired Berry's Catering and Floral for both our catering and flowers and we are thrilled that we did! Cal and his team are incredibly talented and listened to everything we wanted and made it happen. I have no clue when it comes to flowers, and I tried my best to explain the look we were going for and Cal immediately figured it out and made everything look stunning! We had a buffet for about 115 people with dish suggestions from Cal and family recipes, Cal took it and ran with it. The flow of the meal was perfect and the dishes were absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh and full of flavor, and all of our guests had plenty to eat. We had a few people with severe food allergies and Cal was able to accommodate them smoothly and easily. Leading up to our wedding, we were in constant communication with Cal, we did a walkthrough of our venue together to plan the layout of the buffet and the layout of the tables. My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of state and Cal and his team made it as stress-free as possible. The flowers were delivered with plenty of time for pictures before the ceremony and all the decorations in the church were taken down after the ceremony and moved to our reception without any delay. DO NOT HIRE CAL BERRY! He was by far the biggest disappointment of my wedding day!! I was humiliated by the food that he presented Saturday night! He charged me $27.75 per person for disgusting food that he ran out and bought days before the wedding! Our main food was mini chicken and waffles. Never in a million years did I expect frozen eggo waffles and old hard chicken tenders diced into tiny pieces with a tooth pick through them! We ordered a marinated vegetable display and Cal apparently thinks “marinated” = “pickled” because we received a large tower of pickles!!!! Literal pickles that you put on a hamburger with a pair of tongs sitting next to them! Cal never came to my wedding and had no intentions of it! He booked another wedding that evening, and never felt the need to disclose that to me. His assistant cut gigantic slices of cake so the $700 wedding cake that was supposed to feed 150+ people, actually only fed about 50 people. She didn’t care! I’m so sad that this was the biggest wedding expense and also the biggest mistake I made! I trusted Cal to provide the service Ive read about and the food that is advertised all over his social media. My husband and I had been so excited about the food because it all sounded great on paper, but in reality it was all pretty much a lie! I feel that Cal was extremely dishonest and took full advantage of me.

We hired Berry's floral and catering for our wedding on 4/14/18 and they were WONDERFUL! The owner, Calvin Berry, helped us at every step along the way, meeting at our home (we did a backyard wedding) and helping to plan the layout, discuss floral arrangements and the menu. He is very professional, punctual and cooks delicious meals :) His staff was polite, knowledgeable and friendly. He provided bartenders who were fantastic. His flowers were great- our arbor looked amazing. And we got compliments on his food the whole following week. I would happily recommend this company for your wedding/event!!

I cannot begin to explain how phenomenal Berry's Catering and Floral is! Cal sat down with us numerous times and listened to what I had dreamed my wedding of looking like. What Berry's Catering produced was beyond anything I could have imagined. Truly a fairy tale wedding and reception! The food was unbelievable and we are still hearing from our guests how incredible it was, two months after our wedding. And the flowers- oh my goodness. They looked like they were straight out of a magazine! Cal and Celia worked so hard to create arrangements that matched my personality and style and they went above and beyond what I could have envisioned! When you hire Berry's, you aren't just hiring a caterer or florist. You are hiring THE BEST in the business who treats every wedding as if it was his own. We had no worries or concerns our wedding day because Cal took care of them all. THE BEST decision we made for our wedding was hiring Berry's! You will be so happy you did, too!!!!

Can hardly ever meet with the caterer ( person in charge). Rude, abrupt, and over talks you! Insist on you taking his advice or your way is not good. Way to busy to handle clients and run a business. Is constantly out of town and can never meet.

It's been a year since we've been married. However, one thing that has always never sat well with me is How we were treated by Cal Berry. From the start, Cal presented himself as an expert in his field. We were comforted by his experience. After our first meeting, we thought that we were in good hands. He seemed very composed and prepared, and we were glad that he had worked at our venue (Old Medical College) previously. However, everything went downhill after that initial meeting. Cal was not quick to send contracts it to us. When he did, the prices were wrong, the verbiage in his contracts was incorrect, and even his company names were incorrect, and he never really discussed payment options. In fact, our meeting with Cal was very brief. Please keep in mind, he does a fine job. However, please know that he does do multiple events on the same day. We found out that ours was one of three events where he had been employed. So, be aware that your event may not be his primary concern. In fact, if you aren't either shelling out thousands of dollars or a big name in this area, Cal most likely will not be at your neck and call. Even though the decor was underwhelming for the price, the food was good. Cal had offered to let us try the food we wanted before our event-a promise that never happened. So, we had no idea how our food tasted beforehand. Luckily, our guests were very complementary about the decor and food at our wedding. However, leading up to the wedding Cal's behavior was exceptionally unprofessional. In fact when Cal abruptly contacted us to pay for his services before we even had the event, he was very abrasive, rude, and aggressive towards my wife; he made her cry during that conversation. I doubt Cal reads these, but if he does, you sir should be ashamed! I doubt you would be unnerved if someone talked to your partner or family member that way. All this being said, I have wrestled with even writing this review, but I think it is necessary. Cal charges high end prices for a mediocre result, his behavior can be erratic and unprofessional, but he does have good people working for him. So if you MUST have Cal work your next event, make sure you deal with someone other than Cal. However, I is my belief that you can find better customer service, decor, and food for your next event in the CSRA. If we could plan our wedding again, it must certainly wouldn't include Mr. Berry's services. Sorry for being so "tacky" Cal, but it takes one to know one.

Cal did not just deliver delicious food; he was also extremely helpful with any wedding-related questions that we had! He has been in the business a long time and was able to help us a lot along the way! The food was amazing, and we had WAY more than plenty of food for the number of people we told him!

Cal was a wonderful find in that he provided us with florals, catering, and rentals all in one service. Everything was beautiful and the good was delicious (all of our guests raved about it). The only negative I have about this company is that Cal was difficult to meet with prior to the week of the event which made it pretty stressful. He was open to changes to the menu and floral arrangements when this occurred, but he could have been easier to get in contact with. Regardless, I would recommend his services since he was able to pull everything off and was a huge help the day of the event

I first used Berry's in 2009 for a school event and knew I had to have him for my wedding. Cal and his staff are an example of perfect business ethics and execution. Although he is based in Augusta, GA he does a great deal of work in Savannah (and really anywhere you need him) which is where our wedding was. I am very type A but knew that I could trust Cal with everything. I gave him pictures of what I liked and he made it happen and all within my budget. I was so great to not have to worry about those things when I had a million other things to do. He and his staff did both my catering and flowers. They dressed our venue perfectly. It was amazing. And the food! Lets just say that our guests were more impressed with it then our nuptials...lol. Cal met with us many times, was always easy to reach, was always willing to travel to meet us (I live in Jacksonville) and took care of me like I was family. I can't say enough about how great my experience was. I can't wait to work with him again.

Cal and his team are amazing. I can not say enough good things about him. He was able to give us useful advice and was not just after our money. He takes pride in his events and it shows. He did our food and flowers and both were amazing. People can't stop talking about how wonderful the food was and they are absolutely on target. I usually don't like wedding food but I LOVED Cal's!! The presentation was phenomenal, the taste of everything was out of this world, and you will not find a caterer with a better personality. He was extremely honest with us about everything from the get go and gave us tips to help us get the most bang for our buck. Not only did he give us tips on money, he gave advice on how to do testings and so much more. He was able to give us input on cakes, photography, band, dj and so much more. I told Cal the week before my wedding that I was so sad for the wedding to arrive because I knew it would mean I wouldn't have Cal each day and I meant it. I absolutely love Cal to pieces! He was having one of the worst possible weeks the week before my wedding and you would have never known it- everything was still perfect. When we decided to get married where my parents live my parents had no questions about the flowers and food. They had been to events Cal had done and there was never another option for us, he is simply the best. Cal has another location in Savannah now and I have no idea how he is running two locations so well but he does. I felt like I was his only bride and his only event the entire time even though I know I wasn't. He is phenomenal. If you are looking for a caterer don't look anymore. Book Cal now before someone beats you to it!

Berry's Catering and Floral surpassed all our expectations. Cal Berry is gracious, kind, and very attentive. He meets with the brides and has many pictures of his previous work so brides have a well-rounded vision of their special day. After your ceremony, before you enter St. Paul's River Room my husband and I were able to eat together before we were introduced at our reception. His staff is gracious and attentive as well. I would highly recommend him for your wedding! His flower arrangements were wonderful and beautiful. I was very impressed! I used pictures of Knot bouquets and he followed the pictures to a tee. Extremely pleased with his arrangements.

Cal Berry and his staff were very professional and easy to work with. They made suggestions that kept us in our budget, and they did not try to add hidden cost. The presentation of the food was fabulous. The chicken was tender and moist, and the steak was wonderful. We had a seated dinner and the food was moist and warm. The service was impeccable.
