We rented pipe and drape, plates, silverware, glasses, tables…. And a lot more for our outdoor wedding! And it was all done well. Very smooth process working with best event.
This company is so great for all wedding needs. They have a nice show room but even more items on their website. They make it easy to update your lists and help explain what things are needed and go together best. They know other vendors in town as well which makes everything go together seamlessly!
Great service! Everything was ready on time and no problems returning the rental
Everything about the rentals was perfect, except our balloon arch was delivered to the reception site rather than the ceremony site as requested. This detail turned out to be the best mistake ever. The arch was totally meant to be where it landed! Thanks best events for making our day so perfect!
I was recommended to Best Event by a family friend, so I went with them. At first Susy seemed very nice. She was quick to get back to me and said that since there were 2 other weddings at my venue the same weekend, she was going to try to bundle our orders to make things cheaper - sounded great. She sent me THREE FINAL quotes (in my mind, final means one) and each quote ended up costing more and more. When I asked why the price was going up, she said it was because the wedding the night before mine had more people. I was unhappy, but she insisted I was still getting a good deal so I didn't make a big deal about it. Then she informed me there wouldn't be anyone from Best Event there to help us set up the tables and chairs (since there were extras from the wedding before ours, we had to find somewhere we weren't using to hide the extras) When I told her it would have been nice to know that before hand, she told me working with me was a nightmare and she would never work with three people in the same weekend ever again. I know that brides aren't always the best to work with, but when I'm paying thousands of dollars for rentals, I expect the person I'm working with to at least be courteous and respectful. I wasn't rude or demanding, I simply wanted to know why I was being charged more for some things. Then the day of our wedding came and after we had to rearrange all the chairs and tables, we found out they didn't deliver half of our tablecloths. When we called they insisted that they had delivered them and that we were either overlooking them or the people the night before used them. Neither was the case, and that problem could have been avoided if someone would have come out to deliver our things separately instead of delivering things for all three weddings at once. They conveniently had the number of tablecloths we were missing "clean in the store" (they forgot to bring them) and my mother demanded that they bring them out to the barn asap and they weren't to charge us for any additional tablecloths. Long story short, they were incredibly difficult to work with, and caused the most stress during my wedding. Susy Glenn, the owner, was extremely rude and unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend anyone do business with them. Three small weddings at one venue seems to be too much for them to handle, and rentals should be the least of your worries on your big day.
We had our wedding at my husband's family's cabin in the woods, so we needed to rent EVERYTHING. Best Event literally had everything and Doug was exceptionally helpful without being pushy! They delivered and setup our tent quickly and without trouble. Everything went smoothly and I would definitely recommend them.
Easy to order online. Also available to go into the store and ask questions. Have a lot of other services too. The invitations were shipped to the store, picked them up, and they were beautiful!
This place was horrible! i got uplighting for my reception hall here and it was not what i wanted at all! It looked like a dang night light in the halll! It was horrible! The only good thing about this place is that they gave me a refund with no problem!
Looked everywhere for strands of party bulb lights to hang in our barn venue for the right lighting effect. Best event in AltoonaPa had them for the right price. The day I was running around to pick up to decorate the venue, they were not ready and waiting for a delivery truck to deliver new bulbs that was going to be another couple hours but they got the truck to come early so I did not have to drive back up which was an hour drive one way. Was offered a discount for the inconvenience.
Best Event has provided my family years of great service for parties and my wedding! The staff is friendly and helpful and definitely know what they are talking about. They have everything you could ever need for a wedding and reception!
We rented chair covers for our reception and they were nice and looked amazing!

We used Best Event to rent our linens for our wedding. The linens were great. Clean, pressed. They have a pretty decent selection of colors. Ours were a copper/orange color.
I gave this place 4 stars because they are closed on Sundays. Which is a pretty big inconvenience for returning the linens, since most people get married on Saturday. I guess if you live in the area, its no big deal to hang on to them until Monday, but we live 2 hours away.
We rented an archway and bought an aisle runner from Best Event Rentals. Though their products were true to the pictures, I felt that their minimum rental for delivery was a bit high. We spend almost $100 and had to pick up and return our rentals to their office.
Service was beyond great! Would highly recommend!
