Best Western Plus Hood River Inn

I planned my wedding from Louisiana and had no issues. The onsite coordinator was constantly available for phone calls and emails in answering questions and helping me make napkin decisions and table decisions. During the wedding week, the coordinator made a priority to meet with me and my day of planner to do a walk through of the venue and had her catering staff completely aware of what was going on. She even told me they were all there to follow my lead. Everyone loved the food and the ceremony outside. I am happy with this choice!

The view from the place is really beautiful! We had a small and casual rehearsal dinner and it was a great space for the occasion.

I had my wedding here and it is a gorgeous venue. The staff and wedding coordinator worked with me to create a wedding that really represented my husband and I. We wanted a sophisticated, sit-down dinner with the best local Pinot Noir's and French Champagne. The staff helped us with food pairings and wine selections and sourcing the right local beers to have on tap. We wanted an intimate, high-end feel and we achieved that, however I think the site would do just as well for a more casual event. The location is stunning, the food and wine is amazing and the overall ambiance is romantic and quaint. My guests raved about the wedding, many said it was the best wedding they've ever attended. I think everyone really enjoyed staying on site. My guests hung out at the pool, kayaked and paddle boarded the day of the wedding. I can't recommend this location enough, we've been back 3 times since our wedding just to visit. The Best Western Hood River Inn will always be special to me and my family.

We had our rehearsal dinner here last June, and had guests stay at the hotel throughout the wedding weekend. I will say that, at first, I was very skeptical about having my rehearsal dinner at a Best Western. However, I was proven wrong... the food was delicious, thoughtful, and local... they catch the salmon right there in the river! Lisa Willis was also incredible during the planning process and put all of our fears at ease with prompt, clear, and organized communication. I have worked in restaurants and events for a long time, and she is a true professional who clearly knows what she is doing! She even made a last minute judgement call to move the dinner inside, and saved us all from sizable rainstorm. The room was set up perfectly, and we still had an absolutely breathtaking view of the river. The staff was also wonderful, kind, and welcoming throughout the evening... congratulating us, and coming to the rescue during a freak wine spill. All our guests loved their experience... clean, comfortable, spacious rooms with a beautiful view and great amenities! The bar was an excellent spot to gather with everyone throughout the weekend... more gracious and caring staff here too! The only reason that we did not leave a 5 star review was that when we reserved the block of rooms, they did not offer any sort of discount, and the majority of our guests actually found significantly less expensive rooms by making reservations outside the block. This didn't really make sense to me.
