Brian and Malyn began their journey in the wedding industry as photographers, capturing beautiful moments for couples on their big day. After their oldest daughter got married, the duo rediscovered their passion for all things weddings. They decided to purchase The Stone Barn, a popular local events venue, and transform it into Blossom Pointe. Together with a dedicated team of planners, they offer stunning grounds to local couples looking to tie the knot.
This rustic yet elegant farm venue is a rural gem with expansive settings for wedding festivities. You and your wedding party can enjoy a weekend stay at the Stanton Manor, a private residence provided by Blossom Pointe. On the special day, exchange vows in the open-air chapel, with idyllic farmland and lush greenery as your backdrop. Then, pose for photos with your beloved around the property. Meanwhile, guests can grab a drink from the chic Grain Bin Bar at cocktail hour and enjoy socializing around the fire pit or playing lawn games at the outdoor games site. Blossom Pointe Pavilion is perfect for your wedding reception, with an open plan for maximum customization. For smaller events, the original two-story barn, built in the 1950s, features a lovely, intimate reception space, a prep kitchen, and a wedding party suite. At this one-of-a-kind venue, your big day will go off without a hitch.

Founders
We have been married for 20 years, and over 10 of those have been in Michigan! We have 3 daughters, so we were kind of made for this wedding gig. ;) Several years ago, when we lived in South Carolina, we did wedding photography. We fell in love with capturing the special moments on wedding days. We attended wedding festivals & shows, and enjoyed connecting with the brides. From their engagement photos to bridal portraits to the big day, we had the privilege of being a part of their journey. Fast forward to 2023 when our oldest daughter was married and we gained our first son-in-law… All of the intricate details and moving parts of planning a wedding reignited our passion. Later that year, The Stone Barn venue came up in conversation with friends. We had attended a couple of events there in the past and thought the grounds were beautiful. We contacted the owners to see if they were willing to make a deal, and that’s how we became the new owners of the wedding & event venue we now call Blossom Pointe.
