We had a mixed experience working with Blossoms for our wedding flowers, so I would recommend brides be extremely organized/on top of their flower orders if using Blossoms. On the positive side, my bridal bouquet and the bridesmaid flower bouquets were beautiful and exactly what I wanted and the large centerpieces Carol created were excellent. However, Carol was quite disorganized and anything we discussed verbally did not seem to translate into the flower arrangements for our day (i.e. the wrong colored vases were used). We paid for greenery on all of our reception tables, but most had only a few loose leaves placed on the table - this certainly did not match the sample centerpiece Carol provided for us so we were disappointed on the day of the wedding since we didn't realize how empty the tables looked until we were in the reception hall and it was too late... and somehow the head table didn't have any greenery on it at all. This was a big flower order and we know that Carol worked very hard on the arrangements, so I do not want to diminish the amazing bouquets, despite our disappointment with the reception tables.

We had such a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception because of Carol! I would highly recommend her as your florist. Carol was extremely knowledgeable of my venue and gave decor recommendations that I would not have even thought of. She made GORGEOUS bouquets and flower arrangements, and even made mock arrangements for me to have at my bridal shower. She is reasonably priced and budget conscious. On wedding day, the bouquets were delivered to my hotel and the rest of the flowers/decor were set up at the venue and I had absolutely no worries. I knew I was in good hands from the moment I met Carol!

I am so glad I hired Carol to do the flowers at my Vow Renewal! Her personality made the whole experience! Our flowers turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined! You don’t realize the significance of beautiful arrangements until you look at the professional pictures later. I am not sure how you celebrate your special occasion without flowers. Blossoms Florist is also reasonably priced.

Carol is an amazing florist and wonderful to work with. All the flowers for my daughter's wedding were spectacular and Carol fulfilled all her requests. Carol was so very nice. She was very accommodating with the changes that arose and went out of her way to find the perfect arch. She is also very reasonably priced. She is the perfect florist.

Carol is an extremely talented florist. Her love of her work shows through her beautiful arrangements. When I went to my flower viewing appointment I described briefly of what I was looking for in my bridal bouquet. I don’t know flowers very well so my language in the department was limited. It took her less than 10 minutes to put something together that was EXACTLY what I had imagined. For Carol to have been able to pull that off really shows how talented she is. We also had to postpone our wedding two times. Carol was kind and patient and was sympathetic to our situation. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Blossoms Florist.

WOW- Carol did the most amazing job with the flowers for our wedding! I love flowers but I didn't even know where to start. She took my Pinterest inspo and wedding colors and worked her magic. She had amazing recommendations and turned my dream wedding florals into reality. I can't recommend Blossoms enough!

Carol is a delight to work with. My husband and I postponed our initial wedding date in May due to the pandemic, and are extremely grateful to have been able to celebrate our day in October. Not only was Carol able to work with us on our second date, but she offered up creative ideas to transition our initial vision for spring to fall -- ALL over the phone as we planned from Dallas! We received dozens of compliments on our floral arrangements as well as our bouquets. Blossoms is the best!

I can't recommend Carol enough - her work is absolutely beautiful, and her prices are very reasonable. She is also so easy and pleasant to work with, and was so helpful, no matter what changes we needed to make. One lovely thing that she did was she made samples of our centerpiece and bouquet flowers, so we could give input and make sure everything was exactly what we wanted. Carol far exceeded our vision, and we were blown away by how beautiful everything was on the day of our wedding. Our flowers were beyond stunning, and we got so many compliments!

I hate planning anything and was feeling very overwhelmed with the cost of flowers for my wedding! I was talking with a friend about a current florist I was emailing back and forth with and my friend was appalled with the quote she gave me! She said you must try Blossoms on Reading Rd. So I gave them a call and am so happy I did! Carol was amazing to work with and so calming. You can also tell she has years of experience and this wasn't her first rodeo. She was so helpful and so respectful of my budget. AND my flowers were GORGEOUS. Other florists said I couldn't get so many beautiful center pieces and flowers with my budget but Carol somehow made it happen. She took my vision and brought it to life (it sounds cliche but it actually is true). I don't know how she knew exactly what I wanted from my few pictures and ideas I showed her but she nailed it. She also did all the centerpieces/glassware, set up and took down at the end of the night. I am so so happy my friend suggested them!

Leading up to our wedding, Carol was a joy to work with, especially through all of the changes we made due to COVID-19 and some family health issues. The flowers at our wedding were exactly what we wanted and were absolutely stunning! We are so happy we went with Blossoms for our wedding florist! Carol is so sweet, and made choosing the floral arrangements for our wedding so easy! She is very talented, and affordable! She even made an extra stop to drop off some greenery at the reception hall the day before, going above and beyond to make sure there was one less stress in the process. It was such a hot day, but the flowers still looked great when we were taking outdoor pictures. Definitely recommend!

The owner, Carol, met with us multiple times to go over the details for the wedding and provided us with two example bouquets to take to my bridal shower. Even when she was very busy and had multiple weddings going on that weekend, she took the time to meet with us and answer our questions. She is very experienced, creative, and responsive, so I never had to worry about what the flowers were going to look like. Also, the pricing was very reasonable. Carol does an amazing job of taking pictures and ideas and turning them into reality. My bouquet was even more beautiful than I even imagined. It's great that a sample bouquet is included in the price so that you can get an idea of the final product and make changes as needed. Highly recommend!!

We loved everything about using Blossoms Florist! Carol was super friendly and energetic. All of the flowers turned out amazing. They worked extremely well in coordinating with our other vendors, which relieved some of our stress. Not knowing exactly what we wanted (we only knew color scheme) they really created flower arrangements that were beyond amazing! Carol is the absolute BEST! She is very attentive and will give you exactly what you are looking for. Her flowers are beautiful, and her prices cannot be beat. Carol is an absolute artist when it comes to flowers. Our altar arrangements completely took my breath away and the centerpiece a and bouquets were absolutely perfect. She is so wonderful to work with and she made our wedding look incredible!!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Carol! She was one of our favorite vendors to work with, always so upbeat, confident, and helpful! She even allowed us to go to the flower vendor downtown to pick out our flowers months before our big day. They turned out just stunning, every little detail was perfect! Carol gave us absolutely stunning flowers for my daughter's wedding, there were details we never would have thought of. While Carol is a talented artist her business could benefit greatly by having a business manager who could organize her and manage her appointments.

Our wedding planner recommended Carol at Blossoms Florist and said she always follows through, but warned us that she can be flaky. Well, Carol is a great person, but as a business owner she needs MAJOR help! She is the MOST disorganized person I have ever met! I went above and beyond and made Carol typed out inventory sheets on number/kinds of flowers, where they should be placed at the venue, number of candles and where they go, and the number of vases we needed. I also gave her EXACT photos of what we wanted. We ended up having 2 mockup trials. The 1st did not go well and we did not like our flowers. The 2nd trial went great and we had beautiful flowers. However, after calling/emailing multiple times to get a final bill, we never got it! We had to sit down and help her type out our entire bill and show proof that we had already paid for half. Then, the week of the wedding Carol contacted me for photos? She said she had no record of me sending them already? I resent all photos including photos from our trial, so she couldn’t mess this up, right? Well, the ceremony flowers were delivered to our hotel and we had to transport them. This was after she told us she can only deliver to the ceremony and reception. The ribbon color used was white, when all my documents say ivory and Carol even confirmed with me in person we wanted ivory. Our dinner table flowers looked nothing like the beautiful arrangement we saw in our mockup. They were small and didn’t have nearly as many flowers. Also, there was not nearly as many candles as I requested. No one at our wedding noticed something was wrong with our flowers, but the fact is, we gave Carol all the tools to succeed over and over and she still let us down. She may be less expensive than other florists, but it does not save you the headache from having to babysit her. I hope she hires more staff to help her get organized and help run her business because she actually is good with flowers, just awful at running her business.

Carol Ruffin is amazing. Blossoms did the flowers for my wedding, and the work was stunning. From our first meeting, I knew we were going to have fun together. Our initial meeting included talking about bouquets, boutonniers and centerpieces. The second time we got together I had a ball designing each tablescape with her extensive collection of vases, votives and decorations. She not only provided our flowers, but gold overlays for our dinner tables, all candle holders, our alter arrangement, table numbers and card holder. I will admit that the best client for Carol is someone who is detail oriented. I was assured everything would be delivered as expected due to the detailed order forms I had to fill out and photos of each table. There were a few instances where I had trouble getting a hold of her, but because we live right near her office we were able to pop in and ask questions as they came up. Carol is passionate and creative. She certainly delivered on the wedding day and I would recommend her to family and friends. It was a joy to work with Blossoms.

We chose Blossoms for wedding flowers and arrangements because of so many rave reviews, but our experience was very different. Carol is lovely to work with and very creative, but her organizational and implementation skills are terrible. What she showed us and proposed to do was all beautiful, but what was actually delivered at the wedding was almost totally different … and in some cases exactly what she’d been told was NOT wanted ... because she failed to take notes or remember our planning conversations. In fact, the day before the wedding she called to ask several basic questions – not a good way to instill confidence in an already nervous and busy bride! She's clearly become too busy and is now unable to deliver the level of quality that she was known for previously. Much as we want to support small family businesses in the community, we absolutely cannot recommend Blossoms for any important events.

My flower arrangements were beautiful at the end of the day but they were not what I asked or paid for. I planned my wedding from out of town so I took off work and flew in to meet with her for a trial. Leaving the trial, I was SO happy and absolutely loved the arrangement that we had made together. On the wedding day, my arrangement looked nothing like the trial and nothing like we discussed. Her staff made it better by adding some flowers to the arrangement but it still was not what I was hoping for. Also, the centerpieces were full of hydrangeas which I specifically said I did not want. The staff also corrected those but they were not ready for when the guest started arriving. At the end of the day it was not a big deal but for the money and time spent, it was very disappointing. If she has a previous arrangement that she can replicate then she is the florist for you. But, if you want something new or different don't expect to get it or you might have some frustrations on the day of the wedding that are not necessary.

Carol was wonderful to work with! She went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day would be beautiful. She provided the reception flowers, corsages and flower girl crown. During our initial meeting I told her that I would be doing the bouquets myself, I was nervous she would say that was a bad idea (like everyone else I had told), but instead she said it was a wonderful idea putting me at ease. She even offered to have me come in to teach me how to make my first bouquet. When I did come in, she spent over an hour showing me how to create beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres, she even let me borrow her tools and some vases! My reception was exactly what I had envisioned and at such a reasonable price! She was even able to get peonies into some of my arrangements at no extra cost when they were out of season. Carol and her staff are top notch florists and people!

Carol's flowers made my wedding more beautiful than I could have imagined! She clearly heard what I wanted and then added her expertise to create a vision greater and more beautiful than my own. My chuppah looked stunning as well as the little bits of flowers the carol placed around my cupcake tiers. Flowers can bring out the beauty of the venue and carol did that for our wedding. I was saw Carol's work and knew I would love to have her be my florist. Carol has stunning arrangements and is open to great ideas. Unfortunately, she is just too busy, she says it herself that she can't say no. The floral arrangements were very pretty but not what we had discussed, the boutinnieres used a flower we specifically said multiple times we didn't want and the bouquets were also missing pieces we had discussed. I had to send Carol repeated directions, pictures, links to Pinterest on what she and I spoke about on the phone and in meetings. She has superior quality for her price and allows you to borrow votives and any other props she has in her store. I just wish she would have said that she was too busy to deliver the quality and dedication to our event as I thought.

I cannot adequately express my gratitude for Carol of Blossoms for all she did throughout our wedding planning process. Not only is she incredibly talented, with a magic touch for floral arrangements, but she is exceedingly kind and an absolute joy to work with. When it comes to her arrangements, she has a true intuition for understanding what the theme of the wedding will be and how best to complement it. Throughout the selection process, Carol went above and beyond to ensure we were going to be happy with her arrangements and gave us plenty of opportunities leading up to the big event to tweak the proposed options, which gave us peace of mind leading up to the big event. Beyond her talents with floral arrangements, Carol’s sincerity and positive attitude made for a wonderful relationship. When my husband and I would make whirlwind wedding planning trips to Cincinnati (we lived in Baltimore, Boston, and Chicago at different stages of the process) and meet with a myriad of vendors, she was a refreshingly peaceful presence that always brightened our (often stressful) days. Now with the wedding behind us, I can confidently say that Carol is a wonderful and incredibly talented friend who helped make our wedding even more beautiful than we imagined.

We worked with Carol to do the flowers for my wedding. We had flowers for the 8 bridesmaids, lining the aisle at church, flowers to Mary, ~24 center pieces, bridal bouquet, throw bouquet, a few bus cases, and boutonnières for the groomsmen and fathers. Carol was absolutely amazing to work with. She is the most giving person of her time and really works to make sure she understands your vision. She went with us to the flower warehouse and put together example bouquets without charging us extra. Her goal is to make your day perfect and she did just that! Everything was unbelievably gorgeous and the picture that captured the look on my face seeing the reception for the first time said it all. Both my mom and I were sad that our time working together was over but I hope to work with her on something else in the future. She is the best! Thank you so much Carol for making my day so perfect!!

Blossoms was wonderful. We met with Carol initially and then about a month before the wedding, had another meeting where she made mockups of the centerpieces and bridesmaids bouquets (which we were able to take home!) She is wonderfully creative and flexible. She really listened to what I was imagining and my flower preferences. All of the flowers as well as a garland we used on an arch for the ceremony turned out well. She has a wonderful selection of accessories as well. Overall we were thrilled!

Carol did a wonderful job with our flowers. They were beautiful! Our centerpieces and the bouquets were just as I had asked. She is very easy to work with on the phone and in person. Communication was not as good via e-mail, however. We also had one small issue with the cake flower - it was not originally dropped off at the venue. However, it was taken care of immediately. Carol at Blossoms is ABSOLUTELY amazing!! She did such a fantastic job, was so easy to work with, and her flowers were gorgeous. We got so many complements on the flowers and the candle arrangements on the tables and throughout our venue, we seriously could not have been happier with her. Not only was she beyond reasonably priced, but she didn't flinch when we had a change in our ceremony location two weeks before the wedding (long story - crazy situation) and I called her frantically looking for a last minute archway - which she delivered flawlessly. She also came back that night to take care of cleaning everything up and taking back all of her vases and even incorporated our vases into the mix with hers, which was perfect. We really loved working with Carol and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful flowers and someone who isn't going to nickel and dime you.

If you need beautiful, creative flower arrangements, you owe it to yourself to call Carol!! My mother was a florist and we love to see the beauty they have, enhanced by true talent. Carol delivered. We had three different table arrangement, short, tall and cylinder. All were exquisite and admired by all. Her pricing is very reasonable, her skill amazing and her flexibility and creativity a blessing. I even got to take some of the arrangements home for after wedding brunch, making it an even better value, and using the beautiful flowers again. Please give her a call. You will not be dissapointed!

Carol with Blossoms was simply amazing. All of my girlfriends have used her for their big day, so the choice was simple. Yet when working with her, I was able to really see how beautiful of arrangements she can come up with. I trusted her to create the vision I wanted and it was perfect!!! She was timely and efficient and very good pricing comparably!

Carol was so amazing to work with, she gave me exactly what I wanted. It's so easy tot rust her judgment because she includes you in so much of the planning. And the fact that she gives you samples BEFORE your wedding day makes so many other parts of the wedding easier!

Carol at Blossoms Florist made STUNNING flowers for my wedding. They were exactly perfect to what I wanted, and I had so many people compliment them. The price point for the arrangements was fantastic. However, it was a bit difficult to work with Carol during the planning process. It was hard to get into touch with her via email - calling her is best. There was confusion a few times regarding the flowers - including a phone call the Thursday before the wedding asking what kind of vase the low arrangements were in when we had met for an hour on Tuesday and we decided there wouldn't be any low arrangements. Be sure to take pictures of exactly what she made for a sample because she will likely ask for visuals to reference when making the bouquets and arrangements for the wedding. Carol is sweet, but it takes a bit of patience and accommodation to work with her. In the end, the flowers were beautiful and the planning process did not matter too much. Blossoms offers a GREAT price for flowers, but expect to have to slightly micromanage the process.

Blossoms provided the flowers for my wedding, bridal party, and reception. Carol (the owner) worked with me to make the flowers perfect for my taste and vision. It was difficult at first for me to decide between the many different options of flower types, colors, arrangement styles etc. She made up a few different centerpiece arrangements for me to help me see how they would turn out and what would work best for our wedding. My bridal bouquet could not have been more stunning! It had over 40 white roses with greenery around the bottom. I was very pleased! The centerpieces at the reception and all of the arrangements at the cocktail rounds were just beautiful. She made them just as I had hoped! Unfortunately, I chose to use white renuculas (sp?) as the flower for the groomsmen boutonnieres. These fell apart and flopped quickly! Some of the boutonnieres were already somewhat wilted and floppy when they arrived at the place where the boys were getting ready. My husband had a white rose boutonniere which turned out beautifully. Carol provided all of the vases, mirrors, candle holders, etc for the centerpiece arrangements. She had great suggestions on how to make an arrangement look even more grand and gorgeous. She was very easy to work with and a lot of fun to talk to as well! I would certainly recommend her to other brides.
