Blue Ocean Event Center

My wedding day was 1/3 sunny Saturdays this summer. I could not have asked for a better venue. My favorite restaurant is Seaglass, and when I learned there are ballrooms and private event space, I was so happy. We opted for beachside ceremony and indoor reception at the ocean room. We hosted 60 guests, and we were able to see the excellent service they provided for our guests. Amanda at the BOEC has done a wonderful job executing the event from start to finish, and our vision was clearly well communicated across staff (coordinators, servers, and bartenders.) you will see that in your portal file too, so if there was something missing. During cocktail hour, we had a bacon wrapped brisket, my for food we opted for the NE baked haddock and stuffed chicken with a side of carrots and rice pilaf, and they were absolutely DELICOUS. For a vegetarian option we chose the curried biriyani which everyone loved. In terms of vendors, we worked with a florist and a DJ from their preferred vendor list, which made delivery and set up a breeze. The baker was not on the list, but they have been there before. Overall, I highly recommend the BOEC for your event!

We got married at Blue Ocean Event Center on 9/9/2023 and we could not have been happier with how everything came out. Our wedding coordinator was Amanda Graham and she was absolutely amazing from the start. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. She took our wedding décor and displayed it in such an incredibly beautiful manner, from card box and guest book tables, memorial tables, and centerpieces. The venue itself is stunning. We got married right on the beach and then the reception was in the Grand View hall, which had huge windows lining the walls, making it feel like you were on a cruise ship with ocean all around you. The day was absolutely perfect and everything I had envisioned it to be, thanks to Amanda and the rest of the staff! I highly recommend this venue for anyone interested in an ocean front, perfect wedding :)

This venue was beautiful and in a great location. There was a lot of miscommunication with my coordinator Ann from the beginning. We agreed on a 4pm rehearsal start time and when we arrived at 4 as planned, she told us she was planning for 4:30 so it was a bit messy and our guests just had to wait around. On wedding day, there was a random thunder storm which was crazy and so unexpected right before the ceremony. Ann did what she could to keep the ceremony outside and I appreciated that. However, the rain kept us inside but the ceremony went off fine. I paid for a consumption bar and 6k towards our guests drinks but found out that people were paying for drinks during cocktail hour and randomly during the night (paid initially then didn’t the second time in some instances). It just didn’t feel like they used the 6k towards drinks as they said. When I questioned this, I was told they have a “new system” and it didn’t calculate tips/taxes correctly. In addition, I was told I would have 2 bars open throughout the night (since we had 170 guests) and this was not the case. There was one bar open during the reception and bar line went right in front of the sweetheart table which was pretty annoying. When i inquired about why this was, Ann said the other bartender “slipped in the kitchen”. My signature drink was a cocktail in honor of my late grandparents— a Canadian club and ginger ale. Myself and Ann discussed this months in advance and she assured me they could accommodate Canadian club (a cheap whiskey), however, I went to get myself a drink at one point in the night and noticed the bartender poured me a Jameson and ginger ale—- I asked her if I could have the correct whiskey as stated in the signature drink and she stated “ i don’t know why she told you that, we don’t have that”. In addition to this, some of those who ordered beef couldn’t eat their meal because it was so undercooked while others told me theirs was over cooked or cooked fine. To top it all off, at the end of the night, a woman working the bar (not ann because she had already left for the night), told me I needed to take everything home (when we agreed months before that I could keep it and get it the following day). I asked her how she expected me to carry several glass signs on the school bus we had to transfer us back to the hotel and she didn’t seem to care how i got these back, even if they were special to me. Luckily, a family member volunteered to come get them and bring them back for me. However, some items were left over and I tried to pick them up the next day and they were nowhere to be found.

The Blue Ocean Event Center was absolutely amazing! From our first meeting with Amanda, our wedding coordinator, we knew this was going to be the perfect venue for our celebration. We appreciated everything she did for us, her creativity, and the ease of planning the perfect wedding reception with her help. From the stunning setup she and her superb team at the venue put together for our reception, to the delicious food that every single one of our guests enjoyed, all while enjoying the beautiful oceanic scenery through the tall windows. From the bottom of our hearts we extend a massive thanks to Amanda and everyone who worked so hard to make our day a truly special one. All of the stress, worry, and hard work resulted in a spectacular night our family and friends are still talking about!

This venue was truly stunning. You experience being right on top of Salisbury Beach through large windows in the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception rooms. The team here at Blue Ocean was truly fantastic, especially Ann and Joanna, our wedding coordinators. They were so attentive to all of our wedding details leading up to and on our big day. Everything ran so smoothly and we truly couldn't have dreamed of a more beautiful venue for our big day!

The team at Blue Ocean is exceptional! Amanda was our wedding coordinator and captured every little detail perfectly. She spent the time to make sure she understood and we understood how the day would unfold. She’s an incredible listener, problem solver, organizer and one of the best communicators I have met. She was able to relay everything to the team. That team listened and executed every last detail flawlessly! Not only was everything perfect, they served our guests with a smile and were overly accommodating. There were pieces I didn’t want bother the team with like moving the flowers from the ceremony down to the reception, but they read my mind and there they were. Absolutely first class in every way. As an HR Manager, I know how hard it is to build highly functioning teams and get communication right. You have perfected this during a time when staff is hard to come by and the level of service has diminished in so many organizations. You all shined like a diamond and made our day shine too! I am so thankful for you all.

Amanda and her team were amazing throughout the entire process! We held a bridal shower here and the location, service, and food were unbelievable! We had such a great level of service the day of - every guest left with a ton of compliments

My husband and I got married at Blue Ocean on August 2022. We were impressed by the venue and the staff the first day we went in for a tour. We absolutely fell in love with the views and our wedding coordinator was so knowledgeable and responsive that we could not go anywhere else. Thank you to Amanda Graham for that!!! Fast forward to our wedding year, we did have a change in wedding coordinators but we were informed in a timely manner and had a smooth transition. When we got to meet our new coordinator, Lisa Whitehead, in person for a planning meeting, Lisa answered every single question we had and we were put at ease that this was going to be the most amazing day and Lisa and her staff would make sure that our vision would come to life. And so they did! We had rain on our wedding day and had to switch to an indoor ceremony and obviously as a bride I was so devastated, but Lisa went above and beyond to make sure the our wedding ceremony was beautiful. We were taken care of all day up to the minute we left by Lisa, Jenny and Carlos. We cannot say enough good things about this staff! Brides, come prepared and know that this staff will absolutely take care of you on your wedding day! Ps. The food was absolutely amazing!!!!!

Blue Ocean Event Center was the perfect choice for our wedding! On the day of, our coordinators Jenny and Carlos helped everything flow smoothly and were an absolute pleasure to work with. They really helped our vision come to life and we had the best day. We would 100% recommend Blue Ocean to any couple looking for a beach wedding. In full transparency, during the planning process, there were a few miscommunications with the venue as we were given several different coordinators to work with over the past year, but we worked through them and ultimately our wedding day was everything we could have hoped for and more. If we could do it all again at the beach we would! :)

My husband and I got married here just this past weekend on 5/22/22 and everything was absolutely seamless! Our event coordinator, Amanda Graham, was absolutely amazing and made our day go perfectly without any issues. As she stated herself, she works great under pressure and she delivered on that on our wedding day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and super accommodating with whatever you need. The staff is extremely friendly and all of our friends cannot stop talking about what an amazing venue it was. We got married on the beach and had our reception inside and everything was perfect. They even let our dog be part of the ceremony and inside the building while we were getting ready! We cannot thank Amanda Graham enough for her amazing work!!

We attending a bridal show back in march of 2020 and really fell in love with the venue. We wanted ocean views while still keeping it close to home. The welcome packet had many options and explained everything in great detail. Planning our wedding during a pandemic was no easy task. But they were super flexible and worked with the guidelines to keep our guests safe. We worked with Amanda who was really helpful and sweet. She was always quick to respond to emails and kept us in the loop with any updates. I wished there had been a little more communication up front as far as setting dates and timelines etc of when things would be needed and a general overview of the planning process and what that would look like. Our tasting was sooooo good! The food we decided on was amazing and our guests still rave about it. Amanda did a wonderful job of streamlining all our vendors arrivals and drops offs without any issues. Blue Ocean was wonderful and I recommend them to any bride who wants ocean vibe!

We had my parents 50th wedding renewal at Blue Ocean. Everything turned out beautiful as we'd planned. Our coordinator Amanda, was professional and very patient with us. Months later whenever I think about how great the day turned out rings a smile to my face!!

Me and my wife got married last July and everything came out perfect. Beautiful venue along with delicious signature drinks (mai tai and blue coconut margarita). Food was also delicious. Our guest were stuned by the view in the venue. Big thank you to Amanda and the ret of the crew for making our day a dream come true!

Got married here on 8/20/2021 and it could not have been a better experience!! From the ceremony right on the ocean to the beautiful open windows inside the venue, the scenery couldn’t have been more beautiful. All of our friends and family couldn’t have been more impressed with how the day came out. And a huge thanks to all the staff who are so wonderful. I worked with Erin B. who helped every step of the way. Even our vendors mentioned how great it was to do work here. Wedding planning is so stressful but she made sure to cover every base and responded to any questions faster than I’d imagine. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a beach wedding!! Solid 10/10 !

We had our wedding over the weekend, and everyone cannot stop raving about how amazing the venue, food, and location was. Amanda made sure that everything ran smoothly and according to schedule throughout the entire event. We also were able to have a normal wedding without restrictions and all of our guests felt very safe and comfortable. Even though it rained throughout the day, our guests cannot stop talking about how amazing it was to watch the stormy waves roll in. I would recommend this venue rain or shine!

I have nothing but good things to say about this venue, we were truly blown away by their thoroughness, attention to detail, and care for our event. Amanda and her team were so accommodating and took care of everything for us. All we had to do on the day of our event was show up, get dressed, and eat lunch in our ready rooms - how refreshing after this chaotic year! They were transparent through each step of changing restrictions throughout the pandemic and were adaptable when we needed to postpone our reception event as a result. I probably emailed Amanda about 100 times as things kept changing but she had no issue moving things around and helping us creatively adjust until we found plans we loved. The food was fantastic! The music space (and of course the ocean view) are stunning even without decor (but they still decorated with our supplies incredibly!). Our families had the best time and can't stop raving - one of our musician friends is already trying to figure out how to book a show here. XD Thank you thank you thank you Amanda, Kristin, and the Blue Ocean team!

My husband and I planned a big dream wedding here for August 29, 2020 which wasn’t able to go as planned but Kristin worked with us and made something beautiful and intimate happen for us on our original wedding date and gave us a new date for our big wedding! The day we had was everything we could have hoped for and more and we are excited to do it all again! We can’t thank Kate and Kristin enough for their support and flexibility! The venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff are even better they truly care about their clients!

I was supposed to have my bridal shower at Blue Ocean in August. I initially dealt with Kate was so helpful and responsive with providing me information and putting together my contract. Once the pandemic hit, Amanda was great with sending me updates along with explaining in detail what each announcement made by the Governor meant and what the restrictions were. Unfortunately, I ended up having to cancel due to the pandemic and Amanda was not only so understanding and kind throughout the process she also refunded my deposit. With such a stressful time, it is so amazing having a venue team that is so understanding and flexible. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Took way too long to write this but we had the greatest time getting married at Blue Ocean. We've had non stop compliments months later still about how much fun everyone had at our wedding and so much of that is due to Blue Ocean's staff and in particular our coordinator Jess Kelly. I can't possible stress enough have EASY she made everything for us. Any idea we had crazy or otherwise was executed perfectly with care an attention. We were so much less stressed because of the amazing skills she has as a coordinator. It was just so easy to work with her. Food was a big thing for us and Blue Ocean having their own restaurant did not disappoint. I have people in my family asking me if I could ask the chef for his recipe for the beef dish we had. The bartender we had was outstanding and could make any drink thrown her way,. If you want to get married on the beach in MA there is just no better place then Blue Ocean. It felt magical walking around outside on the boardwalk after the wedding and watching the fireworks with our loved ones while we said goodnight.

I got married a couple weeks ago at the Seaglass it was a dream everything was perfect! I worked directly with Jess, I can’t say enough about how amazing she was. She walked me through the whole process answered every email and gave her professional advice on every single question I had. I only got bouquets for the wedding party I wasn’t happy with what they gave me and day of the wedding Jess problem solved. She took care of every detail down to keeping me calm. Also the fact that I didn’t hire a florist for center pieces and ceremony accents didn’t even make a difference the rooms looked stunning!!!! It was the perfect venue and working with Jess made it a perfect stress free night...

Kate was amazing! We booked over a year and half out and she was there to answer any questions we had along they way. We got so many compliments on how good the food was and of course the view! I couldn't recommend Blue Ocean enough. Thank you Kate!

The Blue Ocean staff and Kate helped make our dream wedding happen. Our big day was 9/7/19 and we’re still getting calls texts and comments on how beautiful and fantastic the venue and the food was. Kudos to Kate, staff and hurricane Dorian’s effects on the sea helping our wedding one be one that most will never forget! ♥️

We were very impressed by the our wedding planner Kate she was there for us the threw the whole process, even when Hurricane Dorian showed up and gave us a very memorable and dramatic back drop to our special day. The food was delicious I recommend Blue Ocean to any one that wants to get married on the ocean.

My husband & I had our reception in the Grandview Hall at Blue Ocean on September 1st this year. We honestly have nothing bad to say about our experience. We absolutely loved working with Jess & Kate. They were so helpful with all of our questions. Jess, Kate & their staff had made our reception look more beautiful than we could ever have imagined. It’s been a month already and we are still getting complements on how delicious the hors d’oeuvres & entrees were. The rest of the staff were equally as amazing with packing up our decor & holding it for a couple of days (due to the holiday weekend). Hands down the best experience & made our day feel even more special!

Leading up to the wedding day both my husband and I were so excited for everything that we had planned but when we walked into the reception space at Blue Ocean on the actual wedding day we were blown away! The decor was even better than we both had imagined and we can’t thank Jess, Kate and the rest of the staff enough for making our vision come true and making the day truly special.

A gorgeous venue right on the water. You can't go wrong with this space at all and everyone is so lovely and flexible and helpful - they make you feel like you're family. You can get married right on the beach and then head inside for the reception but still see the ocean - how perfect is that!

I married my husband at a cute little beach side chapel just a 5-minute drive down from this venue this past August. Blue Ocean Center is THE perfect beachfront reception with all the class of a panoramic ocean view for your guests! We worked with Stacey who was always so calm and full of helpful suggestions when it came to planning the seating and decor. The food they served was delicious! What's best is this place is affordable. We ended our summer night wedding with fireworks (a fabulous freebie!) and it's a hit that makes our wedding day so memorable. I highly recommend this place and its staff to anyone looking for an affordable sea side wedding event (or any event!).

My husband and i got married here on October of this year. I honestly cannot say enough about the staff and this venue. Everyone was so helpful, courteous and professional. When we originally went to see the venue we knew it was beautiful but we never imagined how absolutely stunning the ballroom would be decorated and lit up by candle light at night. Every detail of our ceremony in the Ocean Room was perfect. The sun coming through the large windows with the ocean underneath us as we took our vows was simple, yet breathtaking. You can not beat that gorgeous ocean view. The ballroom was incredible and exactly what we wanted. The food was delicious and they even offered Gluten free options for some of our guests. Kate was amazing, compassionate and so attentive to every email (they were sent almost daily the closer it got to our wedding day) She always replied quickly and kept us well informed every step of the way! She answered all of our questions and her attention to detail was impeccable. She made sure everything went smoothly and we did not have to worry about anything. She made all the very stressful planning seem so simple and we cannot thank her enough for that. On the day of she was waiting outside to greet my bridesmaids and I and she ensured that our ceremony and reception went off without any issues and kept everything on time because she knew we wanted sunset beach photos. Those were the details that meant the most to us. She understood our vision for our big day, coordinated with all of our vendors, and made sure our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of. We highly recommend this venue and its staff for any event, especially weddings and we are from the bottom of our hearts so thankful for everything you guys did to make our wedding day a truly unforgettable one. We had our wedding reception here last May and had a wonderful time. They made planning the wedding very easy for us as we were planning long distance and were very flexible in meeting with us. One of the best part was that we had some outside vendors that we wanted to bring in and they were very accommodating. One of the reasons we chose this venue was because of the view and many of our guests found it to be very beautiful. The food was also top notch!

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding. From the moment we signed the contract the communication was easy and everyone reply to us immediately. The food was delicious our guest loved it! Everything was served nice and hot. We had a live band play at our wedding and they were able to provide us with lights and sound so we have no worries with that. The space was elegant having the backdrop of the Alantic ocean behind us felt like we are on a boat. The service was amazing!! The day of the wedding we did not have to worry about a thing. The timeline worked very well we did not have to rush through anything. We never had to worry!! Our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. And my husband and I both agree that it was the best days of our life!

We had a great experience with Blue Ocean! We had a small family wedding and they were so helpful and accommodating with everything!

Our wedding day went perfectly! Everything was smooth and there were no issues at all! Stacey was a great resource during the rehearsal the day prior making sure everything was all set and was helpful the day of as our on site coordinator. Leading up to the wedding, things were quite rocky at points. Our initial contact, who does not work at the venue anymore, was misleading and not up front with certain charges and dollar amounts for the event. She also had given us incorrect information at our tasting when we had decided on meals stating if a guest did not like the food or want to change their mind, they would give them the additional plate and charge us for both. For this reason, we decided to only go for one option of food instead of offering a choice. Luckily, Stacy was able to help guide us with changes that could be made once she became our point of contact. Stacy is a very kindhearted person and cares about her brides and their wedding day. My only point of improvement that needs to be made would be emailing closer to the event. Both my mother and I sent emails that were either unanswered for a few days, or the emails were not fully addressed or responded to. I had a few questions, some of which needed to be repeated to get an answer. Other than that, my guests loved the food, the day went perfectly, and it was AMAZING to get married by the ocean!!!

My husband and I had seaside nuptials and our reception at the Blue Ocean Event Center. Our reception was in the Atlantic Ballroom and we rented out the bar area for cocktail hour. Between the amazing staff and the coordinator Kate we had the most magical day ever. There is not one thing we wish went differently. The room was set up perfect and all my guests complimented on the food. Dave and myself have always loved this location and are so glad we picked this for our dream seaside wedding!

We knew Blue Ocean Event Center was the right place for us as soon as we saw it! You get all the beauty of the ocean and sea shore without the concerns of heat and sand (which is still there if you want it!) we worked with Liz who was absolutely the most amazing day of coordinator we could have hoped for! She remembered everything we told her, thought of things we never mentioned and solved crisis before we knew they were happening! All while keeping me calm and making me feel special. The food was provided by the venue and it was all delicious! We got great reviews from our guests on the food and the views and the boardwalk right outside is a great place for fun and pictures! We were also there during July and so we had a great view of the towns fireworks!

Blue Ocean was the perfect place for our wedding. The food was outstanding and everyone we worked with was professional and has our best interest in mind. I highly recommend Blue Ocean to everyone.

We had our May 27, 2017 wedding in the Grandview Ballroom and I cannot say enough good things about this venue. First and foremost, Stacy was absolutely amazing to work with; she thought of every detail and was with us every step of the way to make our day absolutely perfect. The view from the Grandview Ballroom cannot be beat; our guests were in complete awe and also enjoyed being able to watch us all take photos on the beach from the ballroom above. The food at Blue Ocean is spectacular - our guests all praised everything from the apps to the main courses. The even staff was wonderful and received compliments from our guests. Throughout the process, we were continuously impressed by how willing the venue was to work with us on every little request, even up until just days before the wedding. Thanks to Stacy, the logistics worked out perfectly and I can honestly say that nothing went wrong on my wedding day - it was absolutely perfect. If you're looking for a beautiful waterfront wedding, please consider visiting this venue. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I had been to a comedy show at Blue Ocean Music Hall a few years back, and having our wedding there hadn't really crossed our minds until it was suggested to us ... but boy are we glad it was! We had exhausted venue options on the North Shore and once we visited Blue Ocean, we were sold. It was important to us to find a place that was located close to our families, could hold 180 guests comfortably in one room (with unobstructed views), had unique qualities and was set on the water. After sitting down with Amy the first night we checked out the space, we immediately realized the Music Hall encompassed everything we wanted. While we were impressed with how Amy accommodated our requests, answered our questions, and above all, made sure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day, Blue Ocean could definitely use more event planners. With three spaces and events taking place regularly, it seems quite challenging for just two people to handle every little detail. There were so many memorable moments the day of our wedding - the dances, the speeches, being surrounded by our closest family and friends - but one of the more unique ones was created by the weather. As we got married, and at several points throughout our reception, these great big waves crashed against the windows, which was quite the sight and something we'll never forget (and neither will our guests)!

I cannot say enough great things about the Blue Music Ocean Hall/Seaglass and Amy Moore my wedding planner. She was so organized and made the whole day go so smoothly. We had researched many venues and this venue was by far the best value. The cost per plate was lower than competitors and the food was delicious. The all inclusiveness of this venue option was top notch. 4 course meal, champagne, table numbers, centerpieces- all included. I was shocked. They even added some seaglass to the tables after I asked about it. I can't say enough good things- you cannot go wrong with the delicious food and amazing views you get here.

This is the venue my fiancé and I really wanted, however I cannot get a hold of them! When I first requested info I received I assume and automatic reply with event info. When I wrote back to Amy asking when to schedule a tour, no response. I sent another email a few days later and still no response (that was two weeks ago). I have since been every weekday and even left messages. Still no answer!! Has another one else had this problem with them?!

Couldn't be more disappointed. My fiancé and I met with Stacy. We're going to have a great band so the music hall was our dream location. We were ready to pull the trigger. I emailed Stacey that night with some questions... no response. Gave her a few days to respond and sent another email, essentially trying to book the wedding... no response. I guess it was a blessing in disguise. If it was this difficult to have contact with the event staff, I can't imagine what it would have been like organizing the wedding. It's a beautiful space with great food. Might want to upgrade the personnel to match.

We wanted a Fairy Tale wedding and that is what Blue Ocean provided for us! We were very pleased with all the people that helped make this happen in the planning stages. They were very responsive and got back to us with any questions that we had. They say weddings can be such a hard thing to put together, but we feel Blue Ocean made our experience extremely easy! And even though most weddings don't go without a hitch, we feel there was not one thing that could have been improved on! Our wedding with over 200 people was simply the amazing Fairy Tale that we had hoped for! Even more than we had hoped for! We can not stress enough how pleased we were with this venue. We held our ceremony and reception ( for 65 people) in the Ocean room. The staff was friendly and very professional, all of our needs and wishes were attended to so we could enjoy the day without any worries. The food was very good and we had many compliments from our guests. But of course the main reason we chose there was the view! It is spectacular and a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony. We looked at a lot of venues before choosing the Blue Ocean Music Hall. As soon as we saw it we knew it was the right place. What really did it at first was the amazing view of the ocean. Everyone we worked with from Patty and Karianne to the waitstaff and bartenders were amazing. When we walked in for the reception everything was set up beautifully and Karianne was right there to guide us through the night and make sure we had everything we wanted and needed. The night ended with awesome fireworks and everyone had a great time! So had so many rave reviews from our guests about the night!

We had our ceremony in the Ocean Room and our reception in the Blue Ocean Music Hall. It was absolutely stunning! The view was amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and willing to work with our budget--unlike the other ocean front venues we looked at. We were able to have a 200 person wedding, oceanfront, within out budget. I couldn't believe we were able to pull that off! We did not do the wedding package and were pleasantly surprised by what was still included at no cost! (linens, house center pieces, table number, decor for the buffet tables, etc.) Our wedding coordinators were so helpful and professional. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone that wants an ocean front wedding. We loved it!

My wedding was held last memorial day weekend. When I first saw this venue I knew it was the one after all my searching. My husband and I love the beach, but did not want a beach themed wedding.. This venue was more than perfect for us, a beautiful view of the ocean, large dance floor, plenty of space for guests, and could be decorated any way we liked. We had a wine themed wedding overlooking the Atlantic ocean and it was perfect. The event planners at the blue ocean music hall were amazing! They literally did everything they could to make my day perfect. The food was excellent and my guests are still talking about my wedding 7 months later. I highly recommend this venue to anyone that's searching!!!

We had our wedding here this past September and everything went perfectly! Karianne, the wedding coordinator, made sure the evening flowed smoothly. Both her and the Functions Director, Patty King, were wonderful to work with during our planning process. Patty was always prompt to answer any questions we had by both email and phone. Patty and Karianne were thorough, professional, and a great pleasure to work with! When we chose the Atlantic Ballroom, we couldn't go wrong. The brand new room itself was beautiful, but the views of Salisbury Beach were amazing! We had a significant thunderstorm the night of our wedding, and our guests raved about watching the lightning light up the sky from the second floor of the Pavilion! The food was superb and came out perfect! I would highly recommend choosing to have your wedding here. I worried about many things the day of our wedding, like the weather, but I never once was concerned about our reception. Patty and Karianne took care of everything so we could just enjoy our day and our guests!

Even though we planned our wedding in 6 weeks, the wedding planning team was amazing! They provided ideas, total support, and creative solutions to make our day more than memorable. The view is perfect, the food was outstanding and got rave reviews from all our guests. We do not have a single regret about having our wedding in the Blue Sky Lounge. It's been 6 weeks since the wedding and we are still "gushing" over how beautiful it was. We recommend this venue to EVERYONE!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Blue Ocean Music Hall on July 5, 2014. We both have a special place in our hearts for the beach, and this venue was the perfect place to honor that. The music hall itself is a beautiful room with tiered seating and an industrial feel that we loved. It made it really easy to set up spaces for our buffet dinner, dancing, a Photo Booth, etc and accommodate our almost 200 guests. Much of the room is surrounded by windows and we had a gorgeous view of the ocean and the colors in the sky from the sunset. Because the room is a music hall, the sound was amazing. Our DJ set up on the stage, and we used the projection system to show a video before our entrance. I loved that all of the catering was done in house. This made it really easy during the planning process. We had a surf and turf buffet with seafood, chicken, and steak, and people all commented about loving the food. I actually wish I had taken the time to eat more. (Note to brides: EAT!!) The bar services were also fantastic! Patty and the other staff members at Blue Ocean were GREAT about meeting our needs. They were quick to respond to e-mails, allowed us to check out the space a few times, and met with us as necessary to plan out our day. They took care of setting up our decorations and coordinated with all of our other vendors, too. This made me feel confident that the day would run smoothly. For the gentlemen out there - one of the things that sold my husband on this venue (other than it's beautiful beach location!) was the fact that there are TWO "bridal" suites. He really loved having a space for the groomsmen with a TV, refrigerators, and couches to relax before the big moment. The other venues we looked at only had a suite for the bride. I am so happy we chose Blue Ocean Music Hall for our wedding reception. They made for an unforgettable day, and I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful beach location with a wonderfully accommodating staff!

We had lunch one day at the Seaglass & knew immediately we wanted to be married there. This was the 2nd marriage for both of us so we wanted something intimate, about 70 people, but still wanted it to be meaningful, beautiful & memorable. It was all that & more! The Seaglass is located right on the ocean. On stormy days the waves crash against the pylons under the venue & splash up onto the glass windows! It is quite a site to see! Spectacular views! A December wedding on the beach is not a problem at the Seaglass. You can even hear the ocean & crashing waves on the wedding video! The location also makes for beautiful wedding pictures! It was December & chilly but we were able to take pictures with the ocean & boardwalk pylons as backdrops. So beautiful! Patty the Functions Director & Karianne the Bridal Coordinator made the event perfect for us - & this wedding & reception was planned in just 3 months from beginning to end! Patty was key in making sure we booked the right room, worked with us to design the menu & was most accommodating in every way. I had my own wedding coordinator & brought in all our wedding décor because I wanted a certain look and theme. Patty & Karianne worked well with her, allowed her to come in as needed for measurements, etc. & allowed her to start putting the room together early on the day so all would be perfect - effectively giving us the room for an entire day without charging us extra. Karianne helped in the set up (& then took everything down as well) & made sure everything was perfect. Karianne is the one who gets everything done behind the scenes the day of your event - you see her there getting everything done & making sure everyone is doing what they need to do, but quietly & never in a way that interrupts the festivities in any way. She is absolutely wonderful. The wait staff were wonderful as well & very professional - taking care of all our guests & their requests graciously & quickly. We had our ceremony in the same room as the reception & were able to extend the reception for a small fee. After the ceremony there was a cocktail hour with an open bar & with served & stationary hors d'oeuvres - what a success! Everyone raved about the hors d'oeuvres! The meal was a wonderful & delicious 4 course sit down dinner with champagne, lobster bisque, salad, filet & lobster, & our wedding cake with French vanilla ice cream. The Seaglass was very accommodating as well for special dietary needs & to my special request of scallops instead of lobster (for my meal only). Everything was served hot & no guests were left waiting. We asked the Seaglass to provide all non-alcoholic beverages requested by our guests during the evening at no charge to our guests. They kept track of everything & we just paid the bar bill at the end of the evening. Since our event started at 3:30 & was officially over by 9:30, it was great to have a bar-lounge on site - we and many of our guests stayed continuing the celebration. More dancing - such fun! Also there are plenty of hotels in the area - a nice option for those who had a long drive home. Finally, we had several guests come from England to be at our wedding & we were able to take them to a delicious brunch at the Seaglass the next day! We are still so happy with our choice of venue for our special day. If you are thinking about a wedding or other special event on or near a beach - call the Seaglass!

We just had our wedding reception here at the Blue Ocean Music Hall/Seaglass Events, and we couldn't have been more thrilled with how everything turned out. On the outside, you wouldn't think much of this place, but the inside is clean, new, and the entire back end overlooks the ocean. Patty, the events coordinator, is responsive, friendly, and accommodating, and Karianne, who spent the evening with us, was on top of everything the entire night, without being obnoxious. The staff were incredible. We opted to do the buffet to keep cost down, and everyone raved about the food. Next month, they will be opening up a brand new banquet facility on the second floor, in addition to another bar upstairs I believe. If you're looking for a venue right on the beach, this is your place! They also offer a multitude of options to accommodate any budget (buffet, plated, wedding packages, etc.). I cannot recommend this venue enough!

I loved everything about the venue. The view was gorgeous, the people were nice, the food was amazing. I highly recommend this place!
