We are so thrilled with Boro photography. From the second we contacted them, Martha, the office manager and photographer herself, was nothing but incredibly responsive. Boro was a preferred vendor or our venue, Waterville Valley, and both our main photographer, Wes, and Martha really worked with us to keep our quote within our budget. We were thrilled to find out we would not only be receiving 8 hours of coverage and all rights to our photos but we also received a second photographer- Martha! Both Martha and Wes were amazing and we are so pleased with our photos and we would hire Boro again in a heartbeat!
Mark and Ian did an incredible job documenting our wedding ceremony and reception. They captured the essence of the day and I barely saw them all night. They did a great job mixing in with the crowd. Mark worked hard to make us feel at ease before the wedding and really understood the style of photography we were looking for. We were so pleased with everything!
Working with Jenny and the rest of the Boro staff was a true pleasure from start to finish. I'd long followed Boro's photo blog and knew that their photojournalistic style was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. However, being on a tight budget, cost was also a major consideration and the folks at Boro were able to work within our budget to create an amazing and affordable package. Jenny and Amanda shot our engagement photos on a drizzly day a couple months before the wedding and the photos we got back were gorgeous. The staff was responsive and helpful in letting us know the details our photographer would need to know on the day of the wedding, and we spoke to Jenny the week before to go over everything once more. Jenny was a true professional; she was calm, easy to work with and great at directing everyone in group shots. We're so impressed and pleased with the quality of photos she shot. We'd recommend them to friends, family and anyone looking for a photographer for any occasion.
We could not be happier with our decision to have Boro photograph our wedding. Throughout the process, Martha was wonderful in staying in contact with us during the planning. Our photographers, Wes and Amanda, were laid back, fun, and professional and documented our wedding perfectly. They were able to capture every detail and important moment in a beautiful and creative way. A sneak peak of our wedding photos was up before we were even back from our honeymoon. We recently received all of our photos and can't believe how many they are - all such high quality. Many of our guests have commented on what a great job Boro did capturing our day and we couldn't agree more. We would highly recommend Boro to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.
Wes Maggs from Boro: Creative Visions was our photographer for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. We met with him before our wedding and he listened to everything that we wanted. He was able to create a package deal that worked perfectly for us. He listened to what was most important to us and made sure that it was his focus throughout both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. I was never worried about the photos that he was taking - I knew that he was following the list that we gave him and taking the type of photos that we asked him to take. We were so happy with all of the photos from our engagement session, we knew that we had hired the right photographer for our wedding as well. Wes was very professional, showing up on time and checking in with both my husband and I throughout the day - making sure we were sticking to our time schedule and still working in all the photos that we wanted to take. The folks at Boro put together a lovely “Sneak Peek” of our wedding within a week and posted it on their blog - it was so great to get a preview and be able to share a little bit right away with family and friends. We got our own digital copies of the photos from our wedding about a month after (the wedding), which we thought was a great turnaround time considering the number of photos we received, how nicely they were edited and that it was the beginning of the summer wedding season. His photos are a perfect representation of our perfect day - and I would recommend him to anyone!
I had written a much longer tirade about Boro Creative Visions that sounded like the ravings of a spoiled groom-zilla. I’ve scrapped that in favor of a “just the facts” approach. I hope you give it just consideration when shopping for wedding photographers.
First and foremost, Amanda LOST HER CAMERA at our reception. We received a text from Amanda at around 8:00 am the morning after our wedding stating that she couldn’t find her camera (with all of our wedding photos). She asked if we or any of our 190 guests had seen it since the reception. We did a considerable amount of searching for Amanda’s camera. At around noon we heard from the reception site manager that they had the camera. I can’t overstate the inconvenience and stress this caused us as we were hosting a brunch for about 50 people in our home that morning. My wife even left the brunch to try to locate the camera. Amanda did very little to aid in this search except to imply that one of our guests may have taken her camera.
The reception site manager had found the camera on our gift table, apparently abandoned after our reception. She was good enough to lock it in the liquor locker for safe keeping.
Our shot list was more or less disregarded. Almost no shots of the cake, food, band or tent.
We were charged for an extra 2 hours of time that we neither asked for nor approved. We were notified of this via email about 3 days after the wedding, 2 days after recovering Amanda’s camera for her. We have been utterly unable to reach Amanda by phone since she recovered her camera. I will add that she was not easy to reach before the wedding either.
Quick recap:
• Photographer lost her camera.
• Photographer did next to nothing to find her camera.
• Shot list was mostly disregarded.
• We were charged for extra service that we neither approved nor requested.
• Phone calls have gone unanswered both before and after the wedding.
• Accused our guests of stealing her camera.
Boro Creative Visions has sent us one email since the one advising us of the amended bill, that was a spam email asking that we share a review of their service here. Gladly Boro, gladly.
Wes and Martha were wonderful from the start. They were flexible and easy to work with, especially since I currently live in NC and the wedding took place in NH. Our wedding was unusually small, only 5 guests and a reception the following day of about 50 people in a casual atmosphere. My goal was to have beautiful photos to remember both days and I most definitely got what I was looking for! Thank you Boro Photography!
The Boro Photography Team is made up of solid ROCKSTARS! From beginning to end, it was a wonderful experience working with such organized, professional, creative and passionate photographers!
Wes and Martha did a fantastic job with helping us choose the perfect wedding photography package that was right for us and spent a great amount of time on answering all of our questions and concerns promptly. Since we are from out of town, but hosted our wedding in NH, we set up a phone conference with our main shooter, Amanda, which was a great way for us to get to know her and photography style. She was very detailed oriented and paid special attention to the photography style that I wanted to capture during our engagement shoot and wedding day and every photo that she has produced for us has been sheer brilliance! (We call her the photography magician, because we felt that she was able to capture us in the best possible light in every shot and she helped us tell a story of the two of us through her photos!) Her enthusiasm, fabulous humor and high energy made our wedding day that much more wonderful and such an unforgettable experience.
My #1 priority while planning our wedding was to score an unbelievable photographer that thinks outside of the box, passionate about what they do and make us feel comfortable and enjoy having our photos taken (because my now husband is not a huge fan of getting his photo taken), and we hit a grand slam with the Boro Photography team! From start to finish, they are AMAZING!!!
We could not have been happier having Amanda and her crew shoot our wedding in Quechee, VT. I fell in love with her work on our florist's blog (Valley Flower Co.-also amazing!) and knew she would be the perfect person to capture our big day. From the second we spoke with her on the phone we both felt so comfortable and at ease, we knew that she would listen to our thoughts and ideas and really make all of the little details come alive. Amanda is warm, friendly, approachable, flexible in the face of adversity (rain), and willing to be a little bossy with large unruly families in order to get the shots that we wanted :) She kept us both breathing, relaxed and at ease throughout all of our photos and while we've only seen the sample shots, we absolutely couldn't be happier! The only bummer was we wished we could have hung out with her more! We feel SO incredibly lucky to have found her and her team and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking in the Northeast or anywhere! She is totally wonderful.
I chose Amanda because I remember seeing pictures of a friend on Facebook that got married two years before I was engaged. When I got engaged the first thing I did was ask her who her photographer was because I still remembered that I loved all of her photos.
Working with Amanda on the wedding day went so smooth, she knew howto get the group shots done quick (and we had a lot of those!) and when she did the shots of my husband and I she was so good at telling us what to do to get that shot. She also had idea after idea which I loved because you can tell she not only has the talent of photography but the passion.
The day after the wedding she posted some sneak peak photos and we absolutley love them! Along with everyone who has seen them. We can't wait to see all of them. We couldn't have been happier about choosing Amanda to snap such beautiful photos and memories of our special day. Thanks Amanda!!!
Amanda and Marina honestly became a part of our wedding, they felt more like guests than photographers! From the first shot at our engagement session to the last at our wedding reception, there was no doubt in our minds that we had gone with the perfect photographer! They were very professional and were able to get every shot I had asked for on my special day, and they came out way better than I ever imagined! We are so lucky to have these amazing pictures to remember our day! Thank you!
I can't say enough great things about Amanda and her crew. But I will try!
First: Best photographer in the area. My husband and I met more photographers than all other vendors combined. The quality of Amanda's work stood out immediately, but so did her approach: friendly, energetic, honest, open to learning about the people she works with.
Second: She was open to negotiating an out-of-state engagement shoot. Since we live in NYC, we wanted those photos taken there, and Amanda found a way to do it while she was in NJ filming another wedding. We had a great time, lunch afterward, and all parties left feeling we had a good idea of each other.
Third: Wedding photos went off without a hitch. Her ability to organize guests, direct the movement of the day, and capture the moment without crowding it was just flawless. She also arrived early, which really helped.
Fourth: Photo booth. You have to try it for yourself - our friends and family pasted their strips in our guest book and made it come alive.
Fifth: The photos are just gorgeous. We look exactly as happy and handsome as we felt.
I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Amanda has it all!! Great personality, super easy to talk to and get along with and beautiful picture quality!! Amanda twists and turns in any position possible to get the perfect shot!! The pictures from my wedding came out gorgeous. I don't think I could have picked a better photographer. Everyone that has seen my wedding photos has said how great they look and asked for Amanda's contact info!! We highly recommend Amanda Borozinski if you are looking for a photographer with awesome personality and a great eye for detail!!
Amanda and I cllicked right away. Her personality lights up a room and her work is incredible. She was nothing short of friendly and professional throughout the entire process. While at the wedding, many of my guests commented on how great she was, and we both agree. She was a joy to have at our wedding. Its been two weeks since my wedding and I already have about 100 "sneak peak" photos and the rest will be given to me soon. Amanda is my photographer for life. My brother booked her for his wedding and since the wedding, many friends have asked for her info for their weddings as well. You will not regret a moment if you book Amanda!
Beautiful! Creative! Outstanding! These are only a few words to describe the photos taken at my niece's wedding by Amanda Borozinski.
Her creativity and attention to detail is simply amazing! She knows how to capture a "moment" with her unique style of artistic photography.
She took a bride's worst nightmare(a rainy day) and turned it into a sunny day filled with beautiful outdoor photos using the rain and a simple umbrella as positive props.
My niece was very lucky to have found Amanda!
Dear Ladies,
Of course you want dream photos for your wedding or special occasion. Amanda not only creates photos that flatter you but she sneaks in a bit of your personality along with visions of your love.
Here's what she did for me- As the author, my ceremony involved a launch party. I found a lovely wedding photo of hers and asked her if I might use it for my book,
a world of love and envy, a collection. Not only did she say yes, but then proceeded to set up a photo shoot for my novel, Birds of Paradise, set in California. I know that covers sell books and the feedback on her photos has been amazing.
If you choose Boro, you'll look back years from now and be thrilled with the details of your wedding as captured by Amanda.
If you want to see my lovely book covers, go to
www.kathyhandley.com and, of course, you might want to order the books.
Thank you, Wedding Channel for providing this fabulous site for all of you happy brides.
Warmest Wishes,
Kathy Handley
Hiring Amanda was one of the first and best decisions I made when planning my wedding. As soon as I sat down with her I knew she was going to be the right photographer. Her professionalism, enthusiasm and personable nature are the perfect combination to put even the most camera shy at ease. She is honest and funny and amazingly talented. Her style of photography really captures the heart of the people she photographs and the feeling of the day.
I decided to do an engagament session with Amanda prior to the wedding- a way for me and my husband to feel a bit more at ease with her and in front of the camera. My husband was not on board with the idea at first- until he met Amanda and she started taking some shots. We ended up having a fantastic time, almost forgetting we were getting our picture taken! The photos we have from that day are so special and romantic- we used them in our wedding and now they adorn our home.
So, when the wedding day came my husband and I were so comfortable and happy to have Amanda and her awesome assistant Will there to shoot our day. Not only did our photographs turn out beautifully, she was a pleasure to have with us and added to the fun we had getting ready and during the wedding.
I have had so many family and friends remark on how much they loved the photos.I know this is because Amanda is a creative and talented photographer, but also because she helps to bring out the best in the people she is photographing. She has a special gift.
I could not be more enthusiastic in my recommendation of her. If you want a professional, talented, fun, honest, dependable photographer and the best pictures of your day- hire her!
Our experience with Amanda was perfect! She was easy going and listened to who we were and what we wanted at our initial meeting and stuck to those principles. She arrived early to the wedding, was polite, communicative and never intrusive. I'm typically someone who likes to be behind the camera, but she somehow made me and my whole family super comfortable in front of it. What's more, we never seemed to notice her once the ceremony and party started, but she managed to be right in the center of the action for all the photos! She was true to the photojournalistic style we were seeking. I would absolutely recommend Boro.
I ENTHUSIASTICALLY recommend Amanda for your wedding day photographer!!
We first experienced Amanda as guests at a friend's wedding. As a guest, I was impressed by how unaware of her I was, especially as compared to other photographers at weddings I'd attended recently. We knew that we wanted to give our guests that feeling, also, and so that was the first good sign.
And then we saw the pictures from the wedding.
I can best describe the pictures with words: playful, personal, intimate, elegant, motion-filled, real. Present. Professional.
Somehow, she and her assistant had managed to be everywhere (based on the pictures they took) and nowhere (based on my experience as a guest) all at the same time.
We met with her and looked at her portfolio. I have to assume that any photographer will choose their best, right? So we didn't hire her based on that, even though I can attest that everything she showed us was wonderful.
Mostly, we hired her based on her personality and our experience at our friend's wedding, and the pictures that came from that wedding.
Our wedding was unusual, as all weddings are. :-) The ceremony was in a garden and the reception was in a hall. We had TONS of dancing, and children were everywhere.
Again, I don't know how she did it. There are pictures of us and our guests, but I was only dimly aware of there having been a photographer, let alone two, other than a few conversations during the day and a brief period when we returned to the garden for our equivalent of "formal" shots.
And the pictures? Playful, elegant, motion-filled... glorious, and gorgeous. Completely representative of us and our guests and our party. Even as a non supermodel of a woman, I looked beautiful in the pictures, and for me that's saying a lot.
I highly, highly recommend working with Amanda to develop your wedding day photography plan. You will love the results.
I am a photographer and designer myself, so our wedding photographer is one of the most important vendors to me.
Meeting with Amanda made my decision easy, after seeing her impressively fantastic portfolio and sitting down and chatting with her about her work, I knew immediately she would be perfect for our day. It is obvious that she loves what she does, which is a very important quality in a wedding photographer. She doesn't just snap photos of what's going on, she creatively crafts each one.
We will be using Amanda for our wedding next year, but we recently did an engagement session with her and she made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. The photos came out better than I could have imagined! This session made me even more confident that Amanda will capture our wedding day exactly how we want to remember it.
Amanda and her team will be photographing our wedding and we have just had our engagement shots and I'm in love! We had so much fun and i love that Amanda wants to get to know us to create special images that are meaningful for us. We were referred to her by our friend whose wedding she is doing and I wish more of my friends were getting married so i could recommend her to them!!!
Amanda and her assistant are awesome!! Amanda put us right at ease and was really fun to work with while she made sure we got all the important photos to capture our wedding day! So many people came up to us during and after the event to tell us how great the photographers were (and this was even before they saw how amazing the photos turned out!!) and how unobtrusive they found them, but clearly dedicated to getting awesome candid shots of us and our guests! We are so happy with the photos and would definitely recommend Amanda!!
Amanda and her team made our day one that we will never forget! She is very talented and I love her artistic style. She was not at all intrusive and made everyone feel comfortable. All of our friends and family loved Amanda and her team. We had such an amazing day and could not have asked for a better photographer. I highly recommend Boro: Creative Visions. Her team is very professional and they did such an amazing job! I can't say enough about them! Very reasonable in price as well.
Boro creative visions will be doing my wedding next year. I've already had the pleasure of working with Amanda for our engagement session. I couldn't have been happier with how the photos came out! Not to mention that she was so nice and made us feel completely comfortable right away. Usually when someone takes your pictures you can't help but feel awkward but we were at ease. I am so excited for the wedding I know we'll have amazing photos to look back on!
Working with Amanda on my wedding day was a dream come true. My friends and family raved about what a joy she was to be around, she made our formal portraits quick and painless and captured so many amazing candid moments throughout our day. She was unobtrusive but did not miss a single thing we wanted photographed. Her still shots were creative and fun and her candids truly captured the essence of the day. Our photographs have been featured on a major wedding blog and will be in an upcoming issue of The Knot magazine as well. You can't go wrong with Amanda!
Working with Amanda was one of my favorite parts of getting married! She is professional but also personable. Having her at the wedding felt like having another friend around...just a friend with an amazing talent. Her personality is a glass of fresh lemonade, her art is shoulders above her competition...basically she rocks. The fact that her photography is fantastic seems to be an extension of herself. Her talent is perfect for what she does - she is artistic and creative but not to the point of overshadowing the subjects of her work or the event. I felt she did more than just capture moments, she captured us. I referred all my engaged friends to her and will continue to do so for all events.
Oh, and her assistant Will was awesome too! Great guy, great eye!
Our experience with Amanda and Will was beyond excellent. We first met Amanda while interviewing photographers and knew immediately that she was "our" person. We set up an engagement session with her and had such a great time and couldn't wait for the photos - which were absolutely wonderful. It made us look forward to the wedding even more. We could not be happier with our photos and with the whole experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Amanda and her staff and wish we had more opportunities to work with them! We even had friends hire them for their wedding after seeing only our engagement shots and, of course, their photos were amazing, too. They're talented, affordable and 100% responsive to whatever needs you may have and, best of all, a total blast to work with!
...hire Boro: Creative Visions!
The photographers do AMAZING work. Words cannot describe the quality of the photos. Amanda Borozinski is the head photographer -- she shoots in the photojournalist style. If you like this approach, you will not be disappointed. When I look at my photos from the day, my jaw drops. I love them! Check out her site and her blog -- she has a lot of sample photos there. They are no joke. Neither is her talent.
We planned a destination wedding to Cape Cod and chose our vendors based on client referrals and accreditation. I found Amanda on the Wedding Photojournalist Association website. I then had some very helpful and cordial email correspondence with her and several clients. I had two photographers in mind but when she tailored a package for us and kept in contact I knew she would be an attentive professional. When we arrived on the Cape she was keen to speak over the phone to get to know us before the big day. She arrived on the wedding day and immediately got stuck in - she fit right in with our humor and put us at ease. Her assistant Will got on well with the guys and the result was some great shots of the bridal party. The event photos are exactly what we wanted. She captured some tender, funny and amazing moments. She was not intrusive and got the posed photos out of the way quickly and efficiently to let us get back to the party. She was sure to check in to ensure she was shooting the right people and things. I have seen a selection of the photos already on her blog and I am blown away - she really captured our style and the spirit of the day. On top of that - she was exceptional value and a total professional - not to mention a good laugh! Thanks Amanda!! To all New England brides - contact Amanda!
