Brasada Ranch is an incredibly special and unique place to get married. If we could do it all over again, we would choose Brasada Ranch, without hesitation. The setting is stunning, the food was fantastic, and our guests absolutely raved about the amenities and scenery. I grew up playing golf, and my wife grew up riding horses, so Brasada was about as perfect a venue as it gets.
Also, unlike many other similar (and often more expensive) wedding venues in the Bend area, Brasada has dedicated staff for event planning, which was very valuable for us, as we do not live in the Bend area so some of the planning would have felt like “black box” without a dedicated contact at Brasada to answer our questions. That said, we still recommend hiring a dedicated wedding planner / day-of coordinator (Ponderosa Planning is absolutely fabulous), as the Brasada staff does not handle coordination with other vendors, rehearsal, setting up certain items at your reception, etc. Brasada was willing to work with us on a few special / unique aspects of the weekend that we wanted to pull off, and they went above and beyond to make those things happen for us.
The only critique we have is that the operations of the ranch / resort itself seem to be a bit disorganized. We’ve stayed there multiple times outside of the wedding weekend so we feel like we have a large enough sample size of days / nights spent there to say that they have room to improve in this area. However, we have never left Brasda with anything other than amazing memories and a very strong desire to plan our next weekend getaway there.
(For reference, we had about 85 guests.)
Brasada was the perfect wedding venue. The venue itself is beautiful with the Range for the ceremony and the Barn for the Reception. Almost all of our guests were from out of town and it was so much fun having everyone stay on site. The cabins are beautiful, the grounds are beautiful, the golf course is great. Also, the food is amazing! I know wedding food can be a little meh but not at Brasada. The chefs and catering staff really take the time to make each meal delicious and memorable.
But what really sets this place apart is the staff. From our first interaction with Brandon to every interaction with our onsite manager, Sara we really felt like they were willing to do everything they could to make this our dream wedding. Aside from those two, the front desk staff, catering crew, golf employees, everyone you encounter at Brasada goes above and beyond to make your wedding weekend perfect for you and your guests.
It was perfect! I can’t wait to go back and celebrate our anniversaries there!
I didn't know where I wanted to get married. When I randomly decided on a winter wonderland wedding, and my wonderful husband went with it, we found ourselves in Bend looking at a few different venues. Brasada was a last minute ad and I am so happy we did. From the minute we stepped out on the property, we felt at home. All of the other local venues gave us about an hour - we were at Brasada for almost 5 hours. They are, for the most part, an all-in-one venue/vendor. While you have the option to bring in other vendors, or upgrade certain items, you are not pressured to do so, and your options of what they provide are great quality. My husband and I knew we wanted to spend our money on food/beverage and Brasada did not disappoint. The food was amazing. We were able to customize our menu and they really took care of us and our guests and even created custom meals for those with dietary concerns. I didn't want a cake - they didn't push and rather encouraged my desire for just smores.
We wanted an extra bottle of wine just for our head table - no problem. Fireplaces on in the venues - no problem. Adding an extra venue space to house just the ceremony, actually their suggestion and it went seamlessly. When we audibled an extra hour onto the reception because our guests were still enjoying themselves, no problem - it just took a yes from me.
We stayed in the main lodge and I honestly want to move in. Everything was great. Restaurant below is so easy and delicious. The spa was wonderful the morning before the wedding.
I do not have enough words for the staff. They were incredible. We worked with several different people, and departments, but it never felt too many people. Everyone knew exactly what was going on. Our day was running late in terms of getting ready and off to the first look, but transportation was ready when we were. We had last minute requests and all were handled. And no one blinked an eye at the crazy girl wanting to get snowed in.
The planning process was great - very communicative from the start. They helped on every detail and confirmed several times before executing. They worked with us on our budget and we came in at the first budget I set 8 months before the wedding. No detail was too small, and no freak out from me was too little to handle immediately. We even had champagne shipped up from Napa for the morning after brunch, and they received it and delivered it to my in-laws rental without even asking.
Our guests have told us several times over they will be revisiting Brasada on their own.
We cannot wait to come back to celebrate many other anniversaries and making excuses to come back and relax and enjoy Brasada.
Brasada was the perfect place to get married in Central Oregon! It goes without saying that the scenery is absolutely gorgeous with the mountain views, but what really struck us was the hospitality. We chose to do a “destination wedding” and we could not have picked a better place to do it. From the moment we arrived at Brasada for our wedding weekend we felt like royalty, they helped us with anything and everything we needed. One example - We had transportation fail one night so Brasada’s manager who was working at the time offered to drive our group into Bend for the evening! They shuttled our guests around the property to various events and made our guests feel welcome and at home on the ranch. The cabins were the perfect accommodations for groups and/or couples, the facilities were kid-friendly, and we loved having everyone staying in one place. Many of our friends/family are planning their own trips back to Brasada now! The staff was professional and kind, and went out of their way to make us feel catered to.
Amanda made our lives so easy and stress free, and made our family and bridal party feel at ease as well. Our wedding day went off without a glitch and we were just kindly ushered from one place to the next by Amanda and the Brasada staff, we didn’t have to worry about anything! The barn was the perfect setting for our winter wedding - with a fire burning in the fireplace, the whole event felt cozy and personal. We can’t forget about the food either, it was the thing that sold us on Brasada - we purposely made sure that we got to sit and enjoy our dinner during our reception because we were so excited for it.
Absolutely stunning location! My husband and I got married at Brasada Ranch in July 2016 and we are so happy we found Brasada! Overall this is the most amazing venue not just to get married at but to visit for a vacation as well. We are so excited to come back for our anniversary!
Location: The location is a quick 15-20 min cab ride from the airport. The views are to die for. From the top lawn you can see all the Cascade Mountains. It's an extremely expansive view, that all my guests raved about the entire weekend. We were married by the pond/tree at the bottom of the ranch, it was nice and shaded and very peaceful by their lake and trestle bridge. The trestle by the way is show stopping! It's one of the reasons we picked Brasada.
Cabins: Their cabins are AMAZING!! The wedding guests stay in these stunning 2-4 bedroom cabins with sharable living rooms and hot tubs. Everyone of our guests had to much fun in the cabins. Not to mention it's great to have everyone in one place.
Food/Drink: Can't say enough about the quality of the food at Brasada. Everything we had for our wedding from the apps to the entrees was amazing. We received a lot of complements on the food choices and quality. We did a tasting and were blown away but when it was the same quality on the day of the wedding! WOW! The drink selection is great as well, they really have any thing you would want from beer to wine, to the most delicious speciality cocktails.
Venue: We were married in the Barn. It's a great open space that really brings together the rustic elegance of Brasada. We had 100 guests and there was more than enough room for more.
Staff: The staff at Brasada is phenomenal, everyone is so friendly and helpful. Ask for Amanda! She is so amazing to work with. Her attention to detail was on point!! We are so happy we got married here!
Brasada is the full package when it comes to a wedding venue. The location is beautiful and peaceful; all your guests can stay on location so no driving is required; Amanda, the new wedding services manager, is an absolute godsend; and all the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. Each and every person we worked with (Bethany, Mary, Peder, Trenton and everyone) was above and beyond with their service.
We held our ceremony on The Range lawn which looked out over some of the property and had an amazing view of the mountains as the backdrop. We held our reception at The Range as well and utilized the enclosed patio as our cocktail area and dance floor; it was perfect. Everyone was professional, responsive and accommodating. We had a bit of a rough patch with communication when we first started working with the wedding team at Brasada but when Amanda came on board, she was incredibly responsive, proactive, creative and professional. She really knows what she is doing and made our dream a reality. Knowing she was in charge relieved so much stress from us because she was so on top of things. She made sure everything went off without a hitch and we couldn't have been happier. We can honestly say there was nothing we would have changed and so much of that was due to Amanda and Brasada.
Brasada is simply amazing. I have been vacationing there for a few years and when it came time to choose a venue, there was just no comparison. The venue options are all so beautiful. We got married in the Range in January, and the view was incredible. The entire staff made everything seem effortless. The banquet Manager even timed the passing of each plate that left the kitchen. You can be as involved or in my case uninvolved in the planning process as you want to be. They had every detail covered. If you are looking for exceptional service and staff that will go above and beyond to exceed your expectations, Brasada is the place! Thank you Amanda, Debra, Peder, Michelle & the entire Brasada staff for a truly amazing Wedding week!
I stumbled across Brasada as a wedding venue when my family and I stopped by for a thanksgiving brunch. We were completely overwhelmed by how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was! We knew right away that was where we wanted to be wed. It was nearly impossible to get an answer on their end about what dates were available and when we could come take a tour of the wedding locations. We ended up enlisting a wedding planner who thankfully worked with them often. After about 3-4 weeks we finally got a date set after much debate. One thing that was irritating was when we were made to sign a contract for meeting a minimum in lodging expenses. Instead of just having a dollar amount, you had to pay a certain minimum for food/drink and a specific amount t for lodging. This varies depending on guest list size. This was also difficult to do because we were not aware of how many ppl would be coming since we had not sent out save the dates and invitations yet. We ended up negotiating and taking our minimum lodging from 52,000 to 28,000. This was mind boggling to us because we were already paying so much for the wedding (around 40,000 to start) and so many of our friends lived in the area so they wouldn't want to pay the money to stay there which would leave us paying for empty rooms. Also, we were shocked to find that they don't clean your room unless you stay at least 4 days which is ludicrous when you spend that much money. Beware of resort taxes. It's in the fine print and adds up so fast. Also, if you're covering any guests rooms or splitting their rooms with them make sure to settle who is paying for what before you leave the ranch. We had one person get charged for a full 4 bedroom cabin that was supposed to be split because they didn't check out together and the desk person was confused which is understandable. I think the facility is still getting their footing when it comes to weddings, but it is such a wonderful location with great food and for the most part very accommodating staff I still wouldn't have changed our venue. I just highly recommend getting a wedding planner who has worked with them so that you don't have to wait a week plus to get calls back about the simplest answers. We used Elizabeth from Bridal Bliss in Portland and she was just fabulous. Our day was beautiful and we will always have a very special place in our hearts for Brasada ranch. There are so many great activities such as golfing and guided horseback rides. It boasts a wonderful pool/gym and spa is very family oriented as well. It has two restaurants on site with a new general store and the most amazing fire pits! I think that with each wedding they host they will get better and better.
