I had the absolute BEST experience at Bridal Atelier, from beginning to end! I visited a few other boutiques before this one, and the experience here was on an entirely different level. The shop essentially closes for your appointment, you don't share the space with any other brides and it is really intimate and special experience. Rachel and the entire staff are super helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. When I was pretty sure I found my dress, they were supportive and reassuring, but not "pushy" in any way (which I did find some of the other places to be). After purchasing my dress at the first appointment, I returned at a later date for an "accessories" appointment where I picked out my veil, earrings, and hair pins. It was so helpful to be able to try on veil and jewelry options WITH the dress and get some expert styling advice! Once my dress was in (came in faster than expected), I went in for three fittings and Deb worked her magic with the alterations and they really listened and addressed any concerns I had. I wanted a ballroom bustle and straps added and it was all perfect by the third fitting and on my wedding day! After my wedding, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they offer a service to have your dress cleaned, preserved, and shipped back to you -- it was so easy and nice to use a shop I already trusted. I highly HIGHLY recommend Bridal Atelier, it was all SO amazing and one of the best parts of the wedding planning experience! Thank you!!

I would recommend Bridal Atelier Montclair to anyone! Rachel and Deb are polished, kind, and amazing at what they do. Their expertise is unmatched; my wedding dress was perfect. For the fitting, you are the only person with an appointment at that time. You will be personally brought dresses that are handpicked with your vision in mind, and time and care is spent on just you for your entire appointment. There were at least 3 dresses I loved more than any dress I tried at other places. If you choose to do alterations with them (if your finances allow - I highly recommend) they will take care of your dress from creation up until the last alteration, and they even held mine until the day before my wedding (at my request). I got extremely lucky with a last minute cancellation when I called for a fitting, but I think they can be booked up quickly. They are well worth the wait for an appointment!

The whole team at the bridal atelier was amazing to work with. From finding my dress to fittings, the whole process was perfect. You can tell how experienced and knowledgeable the staff is on styling and tailoring. I went in with an idea of what I wanted and they helped me narrow down dresses, and then ultimately finding my perfect dress in the most relaxing and fun experience. The shop is only open for one appointment at a time, which makes the whole session very intimate for you to spend with family and friends. There were plenty of price points to choose from, from affordable to high-end. Would definitely recommend shopping here for your dream dress!

I discovered Bridal Atelier because I was looking for a specific dress and they happened to be having a trunk show coming up. The experience was so personalized and the team is so accommodating. They hung on to a dress they needed to return for a few extra days so that my mom could see it before I bought it. I did my alterations in house, and Deb, the seamstress is absolutely wonderful. She listened to all my concerns and made sure the dress fit perfectly on the day of the wedding. I highly recommend them!

An absolute gem & dream of a store. I’m not quite sure why you’d go anywhere else—and in fact, I didn’t! After accompanying my sister throughout her dress search, wherein she ended up purchasing her dream dress at Bridal Atelier, I was certain when my time came I would work with Rachel and team. It only took me one appointment to find my dream dress—that I had seen in their beautiful window display a few months earlier! The store is immaculate and beautiful, and it is clear each dress is selected and handled with care. Rachel has incredible taste—the dresses, accessories & designers she has collated are stunning and sophisticated. While the store may look small from the outside, there is a huge range of dresses on the inside. I almost wish it hadn’t only taken me one appointment to find my dress so that I could continue to play dress-up! The dress-finding experience itself is seamless. You fill out a questionnaire before the appointment & speak with the team upon arrival. The consultants are kind and talented, pulling a range of dresses within your desired aesthetic and price range, and never make you feel uncomfortable or pressured. I truly had the best time working with Courtney, and Kaelyn was also a gem. I also really loved the fact that you have the store to yourself during your appointment – no distractions or opinions from strangers – just an intimate and special experience with you and your guests. Once you select your dress, true to their namesake, Deb and Rachel work magic to have the dress really fit your body. They have keen eyes for detail and leave no stone unturned when it comes to the fit of the dress, even under the tightest of timelines. Rachel, her team, and the designer (thank you!!) worked miracles to ensure I could wear my dream dress on my wedding day. We had a bit of a unique situation, and they were so kind, caring and made me feel so confident that everything would work out – and it did. If you are lucky enough to be able to go to Bridal Atelier – enjoy it your special experience!

Where to begin? I absolutely love Bridal Atelier Montclair. My sister got her dress here, and as her MOH I attended almost all of her appointments and loved getting to know everyone at the salon including Rachel, Kaelyn and Deb. When I got engaged about a year later, Bridal Atelier was of course the first dress appointment I made! I absolutely LOVED a dress I tried on at my first appointment, but I wasn't ready to pull the trigger and never felt pressured by anyone at the salon to do so. I had also made appointments at a few NYC salons including Kleinfeld because I wanted that experience and I wanted to do my research. But, I got home from those appointments a week later and immediately called Bridal Atelier Montclair to purchase my gown over the phone. And I'm so glad I did. Because this salon has such a personal touch and makes the experience so amazing start to finish. When trying on gowns you are the only person in the entire salon. They ask you thoughtful, important questions like "How does this dress make you feel" instead of "Do you like this dress?" They truly care about you and your vision for the most important day of your life. I also went back for an accessory appointment and purchased a veil and a topper, and I have to say the salon has a wonderfully curated selection of designers and accessories. I searched far and wide for a topper to compliment my dress, and ended up finding my dream lace Caroline Castigliano topper at Bridal Atelier Montclair. An added bonus - I can't express how amazing Deb and the alterations team are. Many bridal salons send you elsewhere for alterations, so this is really an amazing benefit that they do alterations in house. I had somewhat of a complicated gown with the topper that I wore only for the ceremony. The alterations for my dress were absolute perfection. They created a beautiful bustle for the gown, shortened the sleeves on my delicate topper and sewed in seams to my dress for the topper to hook into. They thought of every detail and the execution was flawless. When I went with my mom and sister to pick up my gown, we joked that we wish there was another daughter in our family to go through the entire process with again at Bridal Atelier Montclair because we will miss them so much! Thank you thank you THANK YOU!

Such a wonderful, intimate experience at this small shop. They carry such beautiful collections. I came in specifically for a Sareh Nouri trunk show and found the most special, perfect dress. The owner of the shop was very involved from the first day trying on, to all the fittings and she put my dress in my hand the day I picked it up. The alterations through the store are so professional and expertly done as well. They truly treat each dress as a piece of art to be treated with the utmost respect and care. I could not have been happier.

From my first appointment in the store until the day I picked up my dress, my experience with Bridal Atelier was nothing short of perfect. Kaelyn suggested I try an Anne Barge gown that was slightly different than I had in mind, and I was instantly in love. I even bought the first veil she suggested to complement it, and they were gorgeous together! Besides having a selection of elegant and beautiful gowns, Rachel, Kaelyn, and Deb made the process seamless from beginning to end. They were all so kind, knowledgeable, and supportive, and I felt I was in the best hands. Being the only one in the store for my appointment and fittings made it so special, and assured me I was getting the best service possible. Everything was so easy and fun, and I would get my dress here again in a heartbeat!

Rachel and her team at Bridal Atelier Montclair are absolutely superb. They create a comfortable and personalized environment at every single appointment. The curated selection of gowns are simply stunning. Rachel is incredibly knowledgeable and kind - just the best person to work with when searching for your dream gown! Deb, the shop’s seamstress, is equally as talented! She tweaked my dress perfectly and spent ample time in each fitting ensuring all hems/seams/etc. were perfect. It was an absolute pleasure working with Rachel, Kaelyn, and Deb for my dress selections and alterations. Rachel has an exceptional eye and exquisite selection of gowns to try on. Rachel and her team made the process so effortless, efficient, and easy. Being a bride, let alone a Covid bride, is challenging enough. They always put me at ease every step of the way and I can't thank them enough for making it as stress-free as possible. The best compliment I could've gotten on my wedding day was that the dress was "so me." They really understood my vision and geared me toward my dream dress. I almost wish I didn't find my dress as quickly as I did because it was so wonderful to work with them. I cannot say enough good things about them and wish I could give them 10 stars.

Rachel and her team are absolutely wonderful!! I found Bridal Atelier Montclair when looking for boutiques that carry Flora Bridal gowns, and the moment I stepped into the store, I knew I'd be saying "yes to the dress." Rachel was warm and welcoming, making sure everyone in my party was comfortable and involved while I was trying on dresses. And the selection of dresses was truly stunning. After going to at least 5 other places and not finding a single dress I loved, I actually fell in love with 2 dresses that day!! I also did my dress alterations here and the process was seamless (no pun intended!). My dress arrived fitting perfectly everywhere but the bust (which was to be expected), but they were able to take it in so it fit me live a glove. I also purchased my jewelry here and it was perfect!! Highly, highly recommend to any bride-to-be!

I could not be happier that I found my dress at Bridal Atelier Montclair! From my first appointment, Rachel and Kaelyn were so welcoming and when I walked in I thought, WOW I really want to find my dress here. After visiting a few other stores in NYC, I was so relieved to be at a bridal salon where you are the only bride in the store and can relax and truly enjoy the experience. Everything from purchasing the dress, working through a postponement, and alterations with Deb was perfect. The attention received during alterations was especially appreciated and Rachel and Deb were incredibly helpful with accessories and fashion tape instruction. I cannot recommend this bridal salon enough. My twin sister also just found her dress here and I can’t wait to return for her alterations appointments!

I could truly never have imagined a better experience picking out my wedding dress than at Bridal Atelier. Rachel and the team at Bridal Atelier are so amazing to work with. When I first started to look I was unsure of what I wanted, but Rachel helped pick the perfect dresses for me to try. The dresses at Bridal Atelier are so stunning and there is really something for everyone. My family, friends, and I had the whole Bridal Salon to ourselves each time I came in to try on my dress and do all of the fittings. We felt so comfortable and at home every time we came in. Bridal Atelier is THE BEST. If you want to have a one of a kind experience finding the perfect dress you need to come here!

Bridal Altelier Montclair is absolutely incredible!! Rachel, the owner, closed the store down for my private appointment and gave us such a special, VIP experience. I have never experienced anything else like it. I felt like we were in a movie! My entourage felt so comfortable and relaxed, which really means a lot - my sister has autism and sometimes her behaviors can make people stare (especially in an upscale store), but Rachel was SO sweet and understanding. For context, this was after 7 shopping trips at stores like Kleinfeld, which were really disappointing...I felt rushed, stressed and totally overwhelmed. By contrast, Rachel could not have been kinder or more patient. She took the time to understand my vision, what I liked and disliked, and she pulled the perfect dresses for me. It was hands down the most fun and magical experience I've had during my entire wedding planning process! I highly recommend making an appointment. I'm so happy I did!

I don't know if I have enough words to express enough gratitude to the team at Bridal Atelier Montclair. BAMC was the first bridal shop I visited and I had a feeling it would be the place I would be choosing my gown. From the moment I stepped into the salon, which is just absolutely stunning, I was so impressed by their selection of hand curated gowns. When we met with Rachel the owner, to discuss the overall vision of the dress, she asked wonderful questions and without even saying much, was able to guide me to picking the gown of my dreams. Rachel made me feel so comfortable trying on a variety of styles, she never made the process forced, it was all so genuine. I could tell that she cared so deeply about the work that she does, just based on how she was describing the gowns/designers. Kaelyn was also so supportive to me as I made the decision to ultimately choose the dress of my dreams. From the moment I said yes to the dress into fittings, I continued to feel so comforted knowing that BAMC would be altering my dress. Deb, the seamstress was fantastic, she altered my dress beautifully and was gracious throughout the process. I would honestly feel excited for fittings not only to see the process of the dress making, but also to see the BAMC team because they were so lovely to connect to. The attention to detail, personalized experience and overall kindness that their team exudes made me feel less stressed, because I knew I was in very capable hands. I can't thank them enough for being who they are and truly would recommend any bride who is interested in a personalized experience to check out their gorgeous store. How do I even begin to thank Bridal Atelier?! They were not only an amazing vendor to work with but every time I went in for a fitting, I felt like I was among friends. Not to mention, Rachel, Kaelyn, and Deb are so incredibly knowledgeable about all things wedding gowns! I started my search at a dress shop in South Jersey and I was less than disappointed. More than one appointment happening at once, cheap dresses, etc. When I went to Bridal Atelier for my first appointment after that, what a world of difference! They give brides the attention they deserve with one appointment at a time and you never feel rushed or like someone is forcing you to buy a dress. I had one idea of what I wanted and of course ultimately went with the exact opposite style but Rachel and team had the foresight to know and understand what I was looking for. I first tried on a gown with straps by Savin London and I loved it but wanted something strapless. Sure enough, Bridal Atelier had that same style gown without the straps and the second I put it on, I was in love. Going back for fittings was a dream and Deb worked that dress until it truly fit me like a glove. What an incredible experience I had with them. I love them and cannot recommend Bridal Atelier Montclair enough!

A coworker told me his fiancé found her dress at Bridal Atelier Montclair but I was really focused on trying on specific dresses. I e-mailed Bridal Atelier Montclair and while Rachel, the owner, told me these dresses were not available, she can show me dresses that are similar to it. After seeing multiple 5 star reviews, I figured this would be a good starting point in trying dresses out. I went in with my sister and my mother and I came out buying a dress! You truly feel like a special bride when you come into the store. You are the only bride they take care of during your appointment and they have a wonderful selection of dresses. I feel like I'm the only girl in the world with my gown. I've heard many horror stories where the bridal salon did not take your budget into consideration but Rachel did not do that. It was a wonderful experience shopping at this salon.

Rachel and her team are amazing!!!! I had to find a dress during mid-july right in the heat of COVID. Since they are a smaller shop this worked out perfectly!! One bride at a time and you can try everything on (which is what I did. I went to a few bridal shops before landing on this one, I was looking for a very simple and sleek dress. Rachel did her absolute best pulling every Anne Barge dress so I can try them- I ended up finding the most perfect dress/cape/veil. My entire wedding was raving about the dress!!!!!! Highly recommend this shop!!! Thank you soo much!!!!

I am so happy that I went to Bridal Atelier to get my wedding dress! It was the third place I went to when I was looking for dresses and the minute I walked into the store I knew I would find my dress there! From the dress selection, the gorgeous ambiance of the store, the service, and Rachel (the owner) - the experience was absolutely perfect! The best part is that at any appointment you have scheduled (even fittings), you are the only person in the store during that time. It was a very personal experience and you felt like a Bride. This is long, but important. I traveled to Bridal Atelier Montclair from Philly to try on one particular dress that I had fallen in love with online. Appointment day came and Rachel prepared the dress ready to try on. Rachel and her associate started off the appointment by taking a few moments to chat and to get to know me. It's important to note that I rarely wear dresses and not sure how to navigate this area of fashion. Rachel recommended we walk around the boutique and pick out more options to try on other than my dream dress. I honestly thought this might be a waste of time. My mind was MADE UP but I took the advice of the professional. The last dress Rachel picked for me to try I thought, "No way. That's my least favorite but I'll go with it." More on this later. Try on time came we didn't start with my dream dress, which I thought was curious . I thought the first styles Rachel had picked were beautiful, but my eye was on the prize. The big moment finally arrived! Dream dress, ladies! We get it on. We get in front of the mirror. DRUM ROLL. Classic fail story. Long story short: Stunning dress but NOT for my body. Ultimate disappointment sunk in, but Rachel remained positive and determined! I now understood why Rachel structures her appointments the way she does and I began to have a new perspective on the other styles she chose. Remember the dress I thought I liked the least on the rack? I've never felt more beautiful and confident in a dress before. I'll be walking down the aisle in it in October. Rachel and her associate not only kind, organized, and professional. They are an absolute talent and will help you find your dream dress, even if you don't see it yourself. To recommend would be an understatement.

Rachel was so great to work with. I lived 4+ hours away and she worked with my schedule every time. There were also specifications for my dress I wanted and she helped to work with the designer to ensure I had my dream dress. Her seamstress is also incredible and my friends who had to bustle my dress were able to do it so quickly. Her seamstress also was able to take parts of my moms veil and add it to mine which was really special. I have already referred two people to Rachel and they have also loved working with her. She has beautiful dresses that I still see and I want to get married all over again. Book her!!

I’m so happy with my decision to get my wedding dress at Bridal Atelier. They created such an intimate experience where the bride and her guests are the only ones in the store for each appt. Kaelyn was my stylist and by just a few questions knew exactly the type of dresses to recommend for me to try on! She was so professional and my family loved her! They have a beautiful selection of dresses which are very unique to what you see in other bridal stores. They made the appts fun and easy and were very good about adhering to Covid guidelines which was especially important since my 87 year old grandmother was with us. I can’t wait for my dress to come in and go back for all my fittings!

Rachel and her team at Bridal Atelier are phenomenal--professional, warm and kind, and very competent. From the beginning, Rachel curated gowns that fit my body type and she was able to order my dress on a shorter timeline when many other shops laughed at me for suggesting I had 7 months. That said, we had to cancel our wedding because of the pandemic and there were a few months where our plans were completely up in the air; Rachel and her team were reassuring, flexible, and made me feel like I was in control and things would work out. The dress itself is spectacular and fit perfectly (her seamstress is great) which speaks to Rachel's eye for unique designers and details. Highly recommend Bridal Atelier Montclair!

Another salon had talked me into a different dress, and for months I couldn't stop thinking about the Kelly Faetanini dresses I had seen at Bridal Atelier. Rachel answered all my questions and made it clear that she was there to help me make the right decision! There was no pressure to decide. They let me know when there would be a trunk show for Kelly and made sure I got the perfect gown at the best price! I haven't stopped smiling since I bought it! Thank you!!

While I did not purchase a dress from this shop, I found that the service was one of the best I experienced! I came to my appointment by myself and immediately felt like Rachel was a good friend of mine. She genuinely wanted me to find the perfect dress and was very patient and kind during the process. She truly listened to understand my style and what I was looking for. Rachel and her stylist even took the time to take photos of me in the dresses with my phone to send pictures to my mom! I cannot begin to express how incredibly wonderful my experience was at Bridal Atelier and how grateful I am to have had Rachel help me through the entire process. Initially, I was nervous about wedding dress shopping, but from the moment I walked into the shop I felt completely at ease and truly enjoyed my time there. The shop is beautiful and the appointment was private, which brought the experience to the next level. Rachel really listened to what I wanted and immediately found several dresses that I loved. When I found "the one" she did not push me and even offered to extend her weekend trunk show price for me until I could return to try the dress on again that week. After saying "yes to the dress," the service and experience continued to be exceptional. I had a very busy schedule with extensive travel leading up to my wedding and Rachel always put me at ease and accommodated me with every fitting. She was present at each of them and helped guide the process/calm any nerves. She was a perfectionist and because of her and Deb, my dress came out absolutely PERFECT. I could not have been happier with my dress and my experience with Bridal Atelier and I am so grateful to Rachel and Deb. I will recommend this shop to every person I know in need of a wedding dress. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

Bridal Atelier Montclair is not just a bridal shop, it is an experience. I had gone to many stores while I was searching for the right dress and I often felt like I was just another customer. Rachel has created a truly personalized experience for brides to be. I not only bought my Sareh Nouri gown at Bridal Atelier, I also had my alterations done here. When I shared with Rachel and Deb that I had always wanted to use the lace from my mother's wedding gown to outline my veil, they found a way to bring my vision to fruition. Although I have many bridal stores closer to me in NYC, every trip I made to Montclair was totally worth it. I highly recommend Bridal Atelier Montclair for any bride looking for a truly intimate experience.

Rachel, the Owner, is truly a dream to work with, and exceeded all of my bridal dress expectations! I ended up making a last minute appointment at her store because there was a Kelly Faetanini trunk show that weekend, and she would have one of the dresses I had been eyeing.I went by myself as my mom lived further away and I had already gone shopping a few times with her, and I had no clue what to expect - well of course I had found the one! One of the reps from Kelly Faetanini was there and explained the customizations I could make to the dress, and I was sold. Not only we’re the customizations affordable, but Rachel was so kind to extend the trunk show an extra day for me so I could bring back my mother to see the dress. Needless to say when I brought her, I said YES to the dress! I was also able to bring my bridal party back a month later just to try on the dress for them, as I had already said YES. There is always only one appointment at a time, even during alterations which are done in-house with Rachel’s guidance. (Something that cannot be found at the larger bridal stores where you are truly just a number) I even hired the in-house seamstress, Deb, for my wedding/day of dressing. She came to my venue steamed my dress, my Mom’s and all of my bridesmaids’s dresses - she put my mind at ease that day, and was completely worth it! She walked around with me during pictures protecting me and my dress. Bridal Atelier Montclair was my best decision - thank you to Rachel and Deb for their professionalism, kindness, flexibility and warmth throughout the entire process!

My experience with Bridal atelier was awesome from the moment I walked in till I left with my dress. I honestly went to this store thinking it would be out of my price range and planning to go the less traditional route like online dresses or BHLDN but figured I’d give this place a shot to appease my family. The attendant knew exactly what style I was looking for and brought me so many beautiful options. The prices were really in line with any other store I’ve visited and we got so much quality for the price , plus a dress I could not find anywhere else! In the long run a couple extra dollars was very worth it. I was not only happy with the way my wedding dress looked but I can honestly say I was pretty comfortable moving around in it, sitting and dancing! Would highly recommend Bridal Atelier!

Getting my dress at Bridal Atelier was the most amazing experience ever! Rachel and team are absolute professionals and you can immediately tell. When trying on dresses they give you 100% of their attention and make you feel like you are a princess (literally!) I came into my wedding with not a clue what I wanted and Rachel was so kind and patient with me, and helped me figure out just what I wanted. If I had to do it all again, (although i'm hoping this marriage sticks! ha), I would go right back to Bridal Atelier! Amazing team!

Bridal Atelier is an incredible bridal shop!! The store itself is decorated and laid out really nicely, providing a welcoming feel. The dress selections were curated to the best of the best gowns, which I loved! I didn't have to rummage through an overwhelming amount of dresses and yet there were still enough dresses in varying price ranges to choose from. Rachel was a delight to work with! She is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating (she worked with me on my tight timeline of 4 months!). I found my wedding dress at Bridal Atelier and it was everything I ever imagined and more. It was PERFECT!! I would recommend Rachel and her shop to anyone who would ask me!

Bridal Atelier was the first/only bridal shop I visited. I'm SO happy I was lucky enough to start there and not have to bother with any other store. Rachel is a dream to work with and was instrumental in the entire process, from choosing the dress and bride/bridal accessories to everything in between. She is such a calming force and as accommodating as can be, especially during the alteration process which was much to my surprise as easy as could be. Eliminate any potential wedding fashion stress and go to Bridal Atelier!

From the second I stepped into Rachel’s shop I felt calm and cared for. She locked the door behind me and gave me her undivided attention for over an hour. Rachel not only had a varied and gorgeous sel cation of dresses, but she also paired dresses with different accessories as you tried each one on so that you could see different looks come together. I came back to try the Sam dress on 3 different times before purchasing and Not once did I feel rushed or pressured into making a decision. From start to finish my experience at Bridal Atelier Montclair was phenomenal. Special shout out to Deb, who does the alterations for Rachel’s brides...she completely took apart my gown and out it back together to make sure everything sat right where it would look best. I highly recommend this shop to any bride who wants a fun yet calm and stress free wedding dress experience!

Kaelyn was amazing! She did a fabulous job of finding things that would look good, accessorizing and getting me into and out of dresses. She really listened to what I wanted. The appointment was private which was awesome and the dresses were beautiful.

From the moment I walked into Bridal Atelier in Montclair, I knew it was a special place. I live in Chicago but am originally from NJ. I looked for a wedding dress in three states – IL, NJ & NY. The search was stressful and draining. I felt that I was being herded in and out of each shop, overstaying my appointment time, pressured to make decisions, and convinced into liking something I wasn’t sure about. Enter Bridal Atelier Montclair. As I entered the boutique, Rachel greeted us with the warmest hello. The boutique was simply stunning. Each dress was more gorgeous than the next and there was a private and chic dressing room in the back, meant for one guest at a time. Rachel took us to the back room where she introduced herself and told us about her experience in the industry. She offered us water and champagne and created an environment of support, calm and attention. She really listened, asked questions and selected dresses she thought would complement my shape based on her experience in the industry. Rachel pulled a few dresses for me to try on based on my feedback and needless to say she completely nailed it. Not only was every dress I tried on pristine, but when i found "the one' both my mom and I started to tear up. We had that moment. This boutique is like no other. Rachel is an EXPERT at what she does. She is not only warm and welcoming, but she is so knowledgeable, attentive, helpful and professional. As I stood in my soon-to-be wedding dress, we discussed veils, accessories, possible alterations, etc. She provided undivided and unparalleled service. I knew at that moment that there was a reason I hadn’t found my dress yet; the process was leading me to this boutique and to Rachel. What I learned throughout the process is that the bridal dress experience expands way beyond just finding your dress. Bridal Atelier Montclair provided me a bridal experience that I will cherish forever. I counted down the days until I could come in for my dress fittings. Deb, the seamstress for the shop, is a master of her work. She is kind, patient, communicates her steps in alterations and listened to any concerns I may had. Rachel and Debbie are a dynamic pair. Between the two of them they have so much expertise and knowledge. They provide you with undivided attention. They have a warmth and vested interest in your dress and wedding experience. They are a pair that is unparalleled in this chaotic wedding world. I feel beyond thankful to have had them during my wedding process. From the moment I walked into the salon to the moment I picked up my dress, each visit to the boutique left me feeling grateful. I was grateful to have met such wonderful and caring professionals, to have found the dress of my dreams and to go through the process of making my dream a reality with two individuals who I trusted and admired. Each visit I was met with a warm hug, a chat about life and an excitement from Rachel and Debbie that left me beyond thrilled for our big day. I cannot say enough about Bridal Atelier. I had the most amazing experience working with Rachel. From the start, it was an incredibly personal experience. My family and I were the only clients in the store as I tried on dress after dress. Rachel was knowledgeable and patient throughout the whole process. I went to the store expecting to purchase a dress from a specific designer, but after Rachel put me in another dress, I ended up going in a completely different direction, and I'm so glad I did! Rachel knew exactly what would work well with my body and the style of our wedding. The alterations process was also wonderful. Rachel's in house seamstress was amazing to work with. The dress fit me like a glove. I also purchased a beautiful veil that pulled it all together. I received so many compliments about how unique and beautiful my dress was. This was truly the best part of the wedding planning process. So I actually found my dress at a bridal shop in NYC, but felt really pressured to buy it immediately and just made so uncomfortable by the sales associate we were working with, that I did not want to purchase my dress from that store. I went online and found that the designer, Kelly Faetanini, sold dresses in a few other shops – not super close to where I live in Queens, but I figured I would make the trip anyway. Well, I fell in love with Bridal Atelier Montclair and was thrilled to make this large, once in a lifetime purchase from the owner, Rachel Sweebe, who is so lovely, patient, thoughtful and just a pleasure to work with on probably the most money I will ever spend on one outfit in my life. I happily trekked out to NJ several times for fittings – but was so thrilled with the progress and final outcome that it was well worth the trips. Rachel welcomed my entire family into her shop –sisters, mom and step-mom, and even my grandfather at one point, and every person felt right at home. Rachel’s seamstress, Deb, is absolutely amazing, and was able to tailor the dress exactly right. The dress fit so perfectly on my wedding day – I could not have been happier with making the decision to use Bridal Atelier Montclair.

Words cannot fully describe how incredible my wedding dress experience was at Bridal Atelier with Rachel and Deb. Bridal Atelier was the first shop I went to, but I did not really know what I wanted when I started shopping; I went in with the attitude that I would “shop around.” I went to 13 shops after this and could not find one single shop or dress that compared to the very first dress Rachel gave me to try on. That is when I realized that Rachel is both professional and personable and her experience in the industry clearly shows. She found me my perfect dress in the first try and I couldn’t stop talking about it for weeks! I returned to Bridal Atelier and purchased both my veil and dress from Rachel because it was important to me to support her business with all she did for me. She gave me her undivided attention from the very beginning, always found time to work around my busy schedule, and offered her opinion when asked without being pushy like you may find at many shops. She valued my vision and patiently worked with me to make sure it happened. A woman’s wedding dress experience should be a good one with memories to think fondly about.
