Brooke and her team were fast, accommodating and worked with my 11 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and bride to provide the perfect professional up-dos. They were so accommodating to each girls request, they could look at a picture on pinterest and reproduce perfectly! Her team was so professional and amazing, could work remotely and were flexible around our schedule. Brooke did makeup and hair for my winter wedding. I was a young bride so I wanted to make sure the people who did my makeup and hair were on top of current trends. I'm one of those people always checking youtube and instagram and I really loved the look of contouring and highlighting. Brooke recommended that we do a really natural look but still use contouring and highlighting to bring out my features without making my face look unnatural in my photos. I attended my sister's wedding this year and Brooke did an amazing job with the makeup. The other bridesmaids and I really loved her airbrush technique and it lasted into the night and didn't move! It was such a relief to not have to check and make sure we didn't have raccoon eyes every hour.

I used Brooke for a personal shoot. She did my make up, hair, and photography. She was amazing. Typically I am a plain jane so it was nice to go out later that night and turn heads everywhere. She made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the room. My hair is completely straight. I have tried many products and methods to curl my hair. It has never worked for me, or others!!!! Brooke supplied an evening of bouncing beautiful curls. AND her photo shoot skills are amazing. I always hate my pictures. She got some gorgeous shots of me. I worked with Brooke at the last Wedding and she did a great job coordinating with me (DJ Jimmy T) to get the Bride & Groom where they need to be for pictures, and announcements. I could not be happier with my experience with Brooke. Her work product and customer service were excellent. Not to mention, her prices were so affordable! I would recommend her to any bride. I wasn't familiar with the area where we got married so I was nervous about relying on internet searches to find my make-up artist. I had no personal referrals I trusted to rely on. Brooke was referred by the hair salon I chose. From my first email interaction with her, she was polite and responsive. She provided all the information I needed right away and I was impressed with her prices. When I met Brooke for my trial run, she was so sweet and easy to talk to. I sent Brooke several images of examples I liked. I pointed out what I liked and didn't like about each image and I explained the overall look I was going for. I wanted something classy, subtle, and natural looking, but still get that "bride effect." She knew exactly what I was talking about and she nailed it on the very first try. I had also told her that sometimes my eyes looked very small in pictures and she was very helpful in explaining what she could do to fix that problem and it worked! On my wedding day, Brooke was prepared and relaxed. When a few extra girls changed their minds and decided to get their make up done at the last minute, Brooke didn't freak out or get upset. She made herself flexible, took it on, and still got everyone done on time! My bridesmaids and I all looked wonderful! Again, I would recommend Brooke to any bride in the area. I received Brooke's services for my wedding and it was my first time being airbrushed, I didn't know what to expect, but Brooke answered all of my questions for me and it felt so natural! The best way to put it was I felt like myself, but better and way more confident, my pictures turned out great!

Brooke is a wonderful artist, I could tell that she was very in tune with what I was looking for and she delivered! I have really sensitive skin and was concerned about breakouts and a reaction, but she sent me over a list of the ingredients in the airbrush ahead of time and did a light layer that was just enough to hide any imperfections while still lasting all day. I was very impressed and would use her again.

I was part of a photo shoot and as a 36 year old woman still get acne and was not feeling great about my face being front and center. Brooke to the rescue! I received her full makeup regimen including air brushing. I thought I'd feel overly made-up or cakey looking (I rarely where any makeup on my face), but instead my complexion was smooth and flawless!!! I told Brooke she needs to come to my house on a regular basis to make me look and feel this good. I felt like a princess and had so much more confidence for the photo shoot. This was my first professional makeup application and Brooke made me feel so at ease and was kind and fun. She took the time to explain her methods, took into consideration what I wanted and the looks I felt (and didn't feel) comfortable. She knows her stuff and based on the event, lighting, etc ensured my makeup was just right for the occasion. As an older bride, I worried about how I would look on my wedding day. After searching many sites I came across Brooke Durden's site. I contacted Brooke and she promptly responded to all my questions and concerns. Before meeting Brooke face to face, I already felt she understood the look I wanted to achieve on my special day. We set up a time to meet for a trial make-up session. Brooke was prompt, brought a huge assortment of make-up, and plenty of tips to make me look my best. She taught me the importance of moisturizing mature skin, brought samples for me to try out, and she was more than familiar as to what colors and types of colors look good on my skin. She didn't mind that my best friend and maid-of honor was with me who was also asking questions about make-up. After seeing my hair color and eye color and asking me questions about my gown etc, Brooke went to work designing a look that was sophisticated, and unique to me. I loved it! She matched the airbrush make-up to my skin tone perfectly. It was me only way better! I am not a teenager and Brooke made me look proper and respectful. My maid-of honor liked it so much, she booked Brooke also. During my trial Brooke looked at photos and material swatches for my bridesmaids in case they wanted to have their make-up done as well. Brooke did not pressure me at all. We took before and after pictures. Brooke brought a camera with her too. Over the 5 months until my wedding night, Brooke was in touch. If I has questions, she answered them quickly and fully and was always reassuring. She always made me feel comfortable throughout the entire event. When Brooke arrived on my special day, she had all of her equipment, her assistant, and her relaxing attitude. She and her assistant were amazing! They set up, were organized, the assistant prepped our skin while Brooke color matched each of us like she did at me at my trial. We were beautiful, relaxed, and on time! While Brooke made sure we were all comfortable with how we looked, and we were, her assistant touched up our lipstick and sprayed our faces with a setting spray. They stayed while the photographer took photos at the house and you can book Brooke for your entire event. I am so glad I did! She remained with us for photos after the ceremony, she helped me change out of my gown and her assistant helped with our flowers. My wedding was beautiful, and we all felt beautiful too! I was a bride's close family friend (and their officiant) at a wedding Brooke did a while back and her work is absolutely beautiful! I was looking for someone to help with makeup for my June wedding and I had held off because I didn't know exactly what I wanted. So it wasn't until about 3 months before the wedding that I actually started looking for a makeup artist. Brooke was fantastic, she was quick to respond to my questions and provided airbrush makeup which lasts longer than traditional makeup, so I wouldn't have to worry about touching it up after the reception. She was fantastic! Brooke did exactly what I asked of her, she made sure that I looked natural, while still playing up my eyes, which is exactly what I asked her to do. During the trial she went over everything including the contract, which just included some basic tips for the girls that were also getting their makeup done. On the morning of the wedding she came to our hotel, so we wouldn't have to travel anywhere and brought one assistant. She ensured that she of my bridesmaids, my mother, mother-in-law and my flower girl all felt special. Each of their makeup was different but it all worked with the style and theme of the wedding. They all looked Beautiful. She even did makeup for my flower girl (she's 4) and she loved it, she was so excited she got to be a big girl and get makeup done like the other big girls. Brooke made sure that she didn't look like an adult but gave her some base, a little bit of eyeshadow and lipstick. She worked around our schedule for the day, because as we were doing makeup we also were working on hair, so she did a group of us at a time, while the other group went down and got their hair done. While we were upstairs we played music and talked and had a great time and Brooke just went with it, she was really upbeat and it felt as though she really wanted to be there and wanted to make sure that we were all happy! I would highly recommend Brooke for your wedding or special event, she was upbeat, positive and calm all at the same time and made each of us feel special and her makeup lasted all day!
