We used Cage and Aquarium for or DJ and photographer for our wedding and our experience was great. They were easy to work with, well organized and responsive. We got a lot of compliments about our music and people were always on the dance floor, DJ Madd Jazz was excellent! We haven’t gotten our pictures back yet but the sneak preview looks great and we can’t wait to see the rest of the photos soon!

We had a great experience with DJ Bill! He read the room so well, the dance floor was going all night and even a little bit during dinner. He made the process easy for us so we got to enjoy the dance floor!

We utilized Cage & Aquarium for our Chicago wedding - and had both photography and DJ services with them. The 2 photographers were timely, patient, and so considerate. Very easy to work with. The DJ was awesome...he had people on the dance floor the entire night. The entire team with Cage & Aquarium was easy to work with and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend their services.

Cage and Aquarium was a great choice for our wedding! They were super accommodating at the last minute when we had a change in our plans and had to hire a DJ with only a few weeks to spare. We had our event at The Joinery in Chicago, and we were concerned about the sound because the reception and ceremony are in the same room. DJ Ligo (Nathan) was so awesome, all the sound was perfect, and he kept the vibes high during our brunch wedding. We couldn’t be happier and our guests raved about our tunes! Definitely recommend for your event for how easy and professional their team was.

We are so glad that we used Cage and Aquarium for our wedding and couldn't have enjoyed having Trevor as our DJ any more. He was absolutely spectacular and people from the wedding wouldn't stop asking for his name after. He made us feel like our day was going to be so perfect and that we didn't need to worry about anything! After only a few meetings we could tell he knew our taste in music and it showed on our wedding night! He was energic, got the crowd going and made it the night we hoped it would be!

He executed perfectly on all the little details (guest arrival music, recessional, etc), and was a commanding host of the evening. He took control of the dance floor and packed it in accordingly. We could not have been happier with Trevor as our DJ. From the start of the process, he was nothing but professional while at the same time laid back and made us feel like we were in good hands. Our wedding planning experience was fantastic, we started with a personal preference and music selection survey coupled with a 1 hour virtual meeting with our DJ to go over every specific detail from the songs we prefer (and do not prefer), the vibe we sought out, and the pronunciation of our wedding party names. We could not have felt more prepared going into our wedding with our DJ and music selections. On the day our of wedding, we experienced some last minute changes, moving inside from outside due to weather issues and Trevor and the C&A team could not have transitioned any easier and less stressfully. Trevor has the perfect temperament of a wedding DJ, energetic and gets the party going when needed yet also quiet and touching in some of those softer moments of a wedding event. Also, by selecting the turntable upgrade, we were truly able to see Trevor do what he is best at and incorporate his artistic take on the music and play to the vibe of the party. Not to be forgotten is the amazing quality of the uplighting and photobooth (out guests could not get enough of the photobooth - it was a true hit, and the photobooth staff was terrific) If we got to do it all over again, we would do it exactly the same! We booked Cage and Aquarium to photograph and DJ our wedding in May. We were so lucky to get Tyler for our DJ and Shelley for our photographer. They were both such a great team to work with. People were raving about our music and the energy of our dance floor and people are still telling us how much fun they had. Tyler was so amazing, he nailed the exact vibe we wanted and I literally didn’t leave the dance floor all night because of how good the music was. He also nailed the vibe for what we wanted during our cocktail and dinner hour as well and he was just such a delight to work with. Shelley was our photographer and we’ve just received our sneak peak photos back and wow they are gorgeous. Shelley was perfect for our day, she was so professional and knew just what we needed to do when. I could feel her experience in this field and it made me enjoy the day more because I wasn’t worried about our photos turning out. Her second shooter was also so great and brought a lot of energy to the shooting sessions. Our day was so perfect and so much fun and Tyler, Shelley, and their team were a huge huge part of that.

We had a fantastic experience with Cage & Aquarium. We worked with a number of different individuals throughout our wedding planning process and they were all responsive, kind, and very thoughtful. They recently began offering a ranked choice DJ selection and offered a variety of DJs & their mixes for you to listen to in advance which I greatly appreciated. We chose DJ Ligo (Nathan) and he was FABULOUS. He threw us a great party and hit on a variety of genres + hits that got our guests on the dance floor. Nathan was also very flexible and patient as we wanted to start our dance portion of the night by playing the drinking game Thunderstruck. He did research in advance and gave us specific suggestions about how to do Thunderstruck with such a large group, which helped bring our vision to reality in the most perfect way. If you want to hire a great DJ company, go with Cage and Aquarium. If you want your dance floor to be legendary, pick DJ Ligo.

Dj Mykol was absolutely AMAZING!! He is the reason why our wedding ran so smoothly and was the best day ever! His energy is so uplifting, genuine and kind. And understanding!! I highly recommend him, if you want your event to be memorable. He had great working microphones and speaker equipment and he also brought up lights that added a great effect to the reception.

We worked with DJ Archie at Cage and Aquarium for our wedding and it was great! They were very responsive during the planning process and the day of went super smoothly. DJ Archie played great music and kept the dance floor packed!

DJ MadJazz (Jorge) was the absolute best. He had everyone out on the dance floor all night at our wedding. We met with him a few times before the big day and we knew we were in good hands. We couldn't be happier

Ed was our DJ from C+A and he was absolutely phenomenal. He was a great communicator, set up several meetings ahead of our wedding to align on details, and made specific edits to songs that we wanted for the ceremony. Most importantly, Ed had the dance floor absolutely bumping. The dance floor was packed and enjoying the music for the entire night. C+A really know what they are doing and their process with matching you to a DJ lead to us being paired with Ed and having an unforgettable evening.

Nathan (DJ Ligo) was incredible!! He DJ'd our wedding and so many people came up to us saying how great the DJ was - his music choices, transitions between songs, and ability to read the vibe of the room were all impeccable. There was never a moment where the dance floor was empty or awkward - not even exaggerating. My husband and I are both musicians and most of our guests were, as well, so music was super important to us and he nailed it. Nathan even recorded some important moments throughout the night that we didn't have recordings for from anyone else, and having those videos is so precious for us. Communicating with C&A before Nathan was assigned to our wedding was all super smooth, as well. Thank you for everything, DJ Ligo & C&A!!

We had a wonderful experience working with C+A and DJ Lady Chi! The dance floor was full the whole night and several guests commented that they loved the song selection. We also really appreciated that everyone we worked with was queer friendly and considerate of using gender-inclusive language throughout the evening. We would happily work with them again!

Marcos (DJ Curt Henny) was our DJ for our September 2023 wedding at The Joinery. C+A was easy to work with in that they were thorough on the intro call and really laid out what to expect over the course of the next ~year. The directions for filling out our music preferences were easy and actually a fun couple activity. And when it all came down to our DJ assignment (we let them assign at random), we had good vibes from Marcos at the jump. Day of, it took a bit for our dance floor to warm up but once Marcos got our vibe, he really hit it and the floor was aliiiive. His announcements were fire and he was a great addition to our big day. Would recommend.

Cage and Aquarium is the way to go. Trevor (DJ TH20) was absolutely amazing at our wedding! He perfectly delivered on everything we spoke with him about in our meetings leading up to our big day and the transitions between our spaces went seamlessly. Our one main request of Trevor was that we wanted everyone dancing the whole night, and he did not disappoint. The dance floor was packed the whole night and he played music throughout that mixed our personal favorites along with crowd classics to keep everyone grooving through the hours. One thing you sometimes get with DJ's are bad transitions between songs, but Trevor clearly knows what he is doing because it felt like one neverending wedding themed song! On top of his amazing DJing and MCing, Trevor was also so kind and great to work with. Working with the rest of the C&A team was also a delight as everyone that we spoke with was extremely kind and professional throughout the whole process. We additionally hired on Aaron from C&A as our primary photographer and he and Tarin were wonderful to work with as well! They were both so kind and easy going with us (which is what we had wanted) and made the photo taking portions of our day fun and stress-free. We have not received all of our photos back yet, but what we have seen so far look beautiful! Overall our experience with C&A was one which we are extremely happy with and highly recommend the whole team to anyone looking for wedding vendors!

DJ Demchuk (Daniel) did an absolutely amazing job during our wedding! The dance floor was bumping all night and we got SO many compliments on how good the music was, including from our older guests. Both the C+A team and Daniel himself were super professional, kind, and communicative to work with throughout the planning process and during the night itself. We asked for some edits to our first dance song and Daniel made it happen flawlessly. He also sent us a full track list from the wedding within a few days so we can relive the party over and over. We could not have been happier with how everything turned out, and would recommend this DJ to anyone looking!

Cage and Aquarium provided great professionals for our wedding. Daniel Demchuk had a great ear for music, transitions smoothly from song to song even when guests recommendations varied widely. Thais Fry was an amazing photographer, fun to work with. I can wait to see her finished work!

Luis was a killer DJ for our wedding! We booked him for the ceremony, dinner and dancing and he was incredibly organized and thorough in the planning stages. On the day, he was flexible with some scheduling changes and kept people on the dance floor all night! Our friends are still talking about the music he played - there's no better endorsement.

We used Cage and Aquarium as our wedding DJ and would highly recommend! DJ Kevin was a fantastic MC and kept the dance floor bumping all night. He also pronounced everyone's name correctly during introductions which is a rare feat. Even our wedding coordinator said she loved that we used Cage and Aquarium because they are so organized and easy to work with. DJ Kevin executed every specific detail that we asked of him, even the specific little things like skipping straight to the chorus for our grand entrance song. You can't go wrong with this company!

We used Cage and Aquarium for our DJ and cinematography, and they were wonderful to work with. Our DJ for the wedding Chelsea (DJ Lady Chi) was amazing, she was very professional and was able to both MC the reception for major events like cake cutting, toasts, introductions but more importantly knew how to throw down a fantastic wedding DJ set. She was able to avoid all our musical distastes including the dreaded corny line dancing, and was able to play a wonderful set filled with some of our favorite songs, a blend of the musical genre spectrum, seamless transitions, precise scratching, and pack the dance floor with all of our guests spanning all ages. We highly recommend working with Cage and Aquarium for your DJing needs and in particular Chelsea, cause for our wedding night they provided such a fun, enjoyable party vibe that all weddings should envy! In terms of cinematography, we had AJ and Vin working with us as a couple for the whole day. AJ and Vin made us very comfortable to be ourselves around them and provided some lovely suggestions and tips for particular video shots they thought would look great for the movie. AJ and Vin were both so kind, so friendly, and so helpful throughout the wedding day. They were such a blast to work with and we enjoyed having them capture our wedding day and look forward to seeing the memories they capture with their work product. I would highly recommend Cage and Aquarium for your cinematography and videography wedding needs!

From the very first meeting with Kevin, we knew we were in incredible hands. He asked thoughtful questions about our song selections, took the time to understand our vision for the event and the day of the event went above and beyond. He nailed every important song and our dance floor was PACKED the whole night. With a crowd with mixed ages, he handled it well giving different music that spanned generations as well as honoring our request to cater to our musical tastes later in the evening. We received so many compliments on Kevin's great music selection and his high energy the entire event. He even took a treasured behind the scenes video of us of our family lining up before we walked down the aisle. He captured all of our nervous energy while cheering us all on. Beyond his skills, Kevin is just an incredibly kind, thoughtful and caring human being. He truly understands the power that music can have to create a moment in time at an event and we never once worried about music or audio since we knew Kevin was the utmost professional and had every single detail covered. Cannot thank the Cage + Aquarium team and Kevin (DJ K. Sity) for playing such a BIG part in our BIG day.

Nathan aka DJ Ligo from C&A was INCREDIBLE! We hired C&A as part of our venue package after reading great reviews. They could not have picked a more perfect DJ for us and our wedding! Nathan met with us via Zoom before the event and went over all the music selections thoroughly. We weren’t sure what specific artists we wanted, but he was able to pick up on us as a couple and provided recommendations based on what we like/dislike. I am a big Swiftie and my husband loves the National. The first song during cocktail hour was their collab track - when I heard this I knew it was going to be a great night. Nathan played all our must plays and none of our do-not-plays. He even checked in with us during the reception when guests requested songs that didn’t quite fit the room. I’ve gotten so many compliments on the music and people saying “it was banger after banger!” We wanted a millenial dance party and that’s exactly what we got. Nathan even got our guests in their 70s to dance to WAP and Ludacris. Wish I had another wedding to hire him for! He kept the party going and it was so fun!

If you live in the Chicago area and need a DJ, look no further! The wonderful people at Cage and Aquarium were extremely kind, funny, and made the whole process so simple! I will never recommend anyone else. Every step of the process was simple and as stress-free as possible.

The absolute BEST party I've ever been to just so happened to be my wedding (not being biased), but that is largely in part to Luis and Cage and Aquarium. From the beginning Cage and Aquarium was friendly, willing to answer any questions we had, and professional. I emphasized that I wanted two-step/90's country music at our wedding, and they delivered, while still making the atmosphere and dance floor accessible to everyone. I requested not one, but two parent dance songs that were a mash up of two songs, and Luis was kind enough to offer to send me samples of the transitions so I could hear it and approve before the actual reception. Luis kept the party going all night, and there was never a moment when people weren't on the dance floor or a lull was felt. He was extremely professional the entire time, making sure the guests speaking were prepared, and all the equipment worked without issue.

Trevor was an outstanding DJ! My husband and I cannot recommend him enough. If you want someone who is going to really go above and beyond in making your special day that much better, then consider Cage and Aquarium as your DJ vendor. Trevor was extremely detailed oriented in the weeks leading up to the wedding, especially in our initial meeting in walking through the run of show. He honed in on the nitty gritty and offered his professional insight to make for a very collaborative process. He took the time to really listen to what we were going for and was able to recommend music we had not even thought about, no easy feat for a fusion wedding. During the wedding day, he showed up early, left late, and helped ignite a dance floor that was bursting at the seams. His preparation was remarkable and he brought just the right energy to our special day. I have a lot of admiration for the professional he is and how seriously he takes his craft, but also - he's such a great guy. C+A was great to work with, particularly Shelley, who was very responsive and helped make it a smooth process. Bravo, team!

Cage & Aquarium was an excellent company to work with for my wedding. They were organized and professional the whole way. Michael was an incredible DJ!! He always made sure things were running smoothly, took time to get to know us and what we envisioned and made it all happen so perfectly! Everyone loved him and all that he did for us. AJ and Vid were our videographers. They worked great alongside our photographer. They were both patient, so respectful and friendly. Everyone loved hanging out with them. From the moment we reached out for a quote and to set up our initial meeting, Cage & Aquarium proved to be a truly professional operation. The communication was thorough and energetic. We chose Cage & Aquarium for our wedding, and we were paired with Trevor. I cannot begin to explain how much fun he was able to make our day. The dance floor was constantly full throughout the reception, and the music preferences we had for the cocktail hour/dinner were just spot on. People keep talking about how fun the dance floor was, and that was in such a large part to Trevor being able to read the room well and keep things going. As any couple planning their wedding knows, hiring the DJ is one of the most critical choices you'll make - the right (or wrong) DJ can really make or break the tone for the entire evening. So happy to say that Cage & Aquarium, specifically DJ Michael Rodriguez (@djmykol) absolutely knocked it out of the park! One thing that was important to us as a couple was balancing the music tastes of our diverse, multicultural, multigenerational wedding guests, with our own tastes as a couple. We still wanted the night to feel "seamless" between genres, and it absolutely did! Our wedding took place in September 2021 and he did an amazing job of reading the crowd throughout the evening and adjusting to ensure everyone was dancing/vibing the whole night, from cocktail hour to the end of the reception. If you're on the fence - absolutely hire Cage and Aquarium!!

The Cage and Aquarium team were great to work with through the entire process. Shelley was super responsive to all of our questions. When we met our DJ, Justin F, he listened to what we wanted and made it happen. The transition from our entrance, first dance and cake cutting was seamless. He kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night and they raved about the music. We could not be happier with our experience with Justin and the entire C+A team!

The Cage and Aquarium were a breeze to work with for our wedding! You can tell their passion for providing quality deejay and emcee services. Shelley was quick to respond to any inquiries we had and it was very easy having to deal with a wedding date change due to COVID. The team was more than willing to spend any amount of time with us in preparation of our wedding day. Michael (DJ Mykol) was amazing! I could not have asked for a better DJ and emcee. He listened so carefully to everything we mentioned and was very detailed when providing feedback. He even did a mash up of Taylor Swift for me and it made the day so special. He was calm and organized and everything went seamless related to sound/music/emceeing. Our dance floor was packed the entire night - had a great mix of old school, 90's/2000's and new music. All ages were dancing. Also worked great with the other vendors to communicate timeline for the day of. Trevor from his team was also a huge help - he helped us keep everything on track from the speeches to helping find my bouquet for the bouquet toss. I hope to have another event that I can use C+A at - I would give more stars if possible!

Everyone we worked with with Cage and Aquarium was a true pleasure, from the original contact made with Shelley and Trevor, to dancing to DJ STACK on the floor, to re-watching the livestream that Kevin so expertly filmed from the ceremony. Planning with them was easy, from finalizing the contract, to answering all of the small questions we had along the way. The BeThere Livestream was truly a special treat for family that couldn't travel internationally to be with us. Everyone was polite, punctual, and we didn't have to worry for a second that something could go wrong.

My husband and I really enjoyed working with C+A as our DJ. From the get-go, Shelley was super helpful with getting us onboarded to the client process and answered all of our questions (we had a lot). When we finally got to meet our DJ for the day, we totally vibed with Kevin and felt like the C+A process for matching clients with their DJ was 100% spot on. The C+A team was also really flexible when we needed to change a few things for our reception as two members of our bridal party were not able to attend and the song for a parent dance needed to change. Kevin was so attentive to us and our tastes, as well as guests. There was a point in the night when we suggested playing one slow song for all of the couples in the room and my husband and I were a little on the fence because we just really wanted to keep the energy up, but we trusted him and as soon as the song started playing everyone was out on the dance floor, even folks who hadn't previously been dancing. We were looking around saying "okay he was totally right! Everyone is out!". Kevin has a great intuition when it comes to throwing a kick-ass party and our guests could not stop telling us how much fun they had and so many of them said "I have never danced this much at a wedding". Thank you C+A for making our day so groovy!

We hired Cage and Aquarium to DJ our wedding and we were blown away by how perfectly the music fit with our day. We were paired with Michael and enjoyed working with him from our first meeting. From a very traditional, elegant ceremony to the most active dance floor I have EVER seen at a wedding, he was a fantastic DJ. Additionally, Cage and Aquarium as a company was very flexible and easy to work with through multiple postponements due to the pandemic.

We used C&A for our DJ (DJ Stack) and music throughout our wedding day and couldn't have been happier. We initially looked into C&A because my friend used them and we were highly impressed. The did not disappoint for ours. Our guests did not want to leave the dance floor. Our guests and I were blown away with her talent as a Dj and personality of making it the most incredible dance party. They were highly supportive and accommodating to all my last minute requests and indecisiveness. DJ Stack was the BEST! Incredible music selections and great with cueing when we had speeches or the next part of our wedding. You can tell that this company knows what they're doing and is a well oiled machine. We booked Cage and Aquarium's DJ and livestream services for our intimate wedding ceremony in November 2020. They were so easy to work with and we were happy with how everything turned out. We selected the vinyl happy hour package and DJ Kevin Sanabrais was on-point with all the music selections. We definitely felt like all of our ideas and suggestions were heard throughout the process and it all played out seamlessly. Additionally, the livestream didn't have any interruptions and the quality was extremely high-quality. We received so many compliments from at-home viewers that it was hands-down the best wedding stream that they had seen. Michael was so so amazing!! We hired him after attending our friends wedding that he DJ'd so we already knew he would be. He was so thoughtful about how we wanted to do things since we had to do everything a bit differently during COVID and had a zoom call with him to plan everything out. He couldn't have done a better job and it was the most fun day/evening!

Our DJ Michael was amazing!!! Being a covid/micro wedding we were worried about not having a dance floor and how that would affect our wedding day vibes. Leading up to the wedding we had a zoom meeting with Michael and it made us feel SO much better about the idea of no dance floor. We couldn't be more pleased with our decision to work with Cage & Aquarium for our September 2020 wedding live stream. Not only did Michael capture our ceremony perfectly, he also managed to do so while respecting and accommodating the church's COVID protocols, working directly with the church in the weeks prior to ensure no detail was left behind. Setting up our livestream dashboard with Tyler was a breeze, and looking at pictures of our 100+ virtual guests from the online photobooth was one of our favorite post-wedding activities. The Cage & Aquarium team have a natural way of putting any worries at ease and providing a stress-free experience - definitely the type of people you want around during your wedding day!

We booked Cage and Aquarium for their streaming service 48 hours before our wedding because we wanted to connect some family members that couldn't travel due to covid. They jumped right in, and even went to the venue the day before the wedding to make sure the connectivity was possible. Our family loved being able to join us from a distance, and we now have a recording of our small, intimate ceremony. Michael was professional and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend using this service!

We booked Cage and Aquarium for 2 of our Wedding Celebration. We highly recommend them. We had Kristin as our photographer and Drew as our DJ. Cage and Aquarium were so flexible to work with our prices since we were having multiple events. We were able to add hourly sessions for our Tea Ceremony. I would definitely recommend also adding additional hourly photo sessions for your other wedding events like your bridal shower like we did with our Tea Ceremony. I don't think this is common practice, but I think it would be smart and you would appreciate those photos in future OUR PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE: We had Kristin as our photographer, and we were so impressed with her work. She photographed for us for 3 of our wedding events: our Chinese tea ceremony in July, our engagement session in October, and our wedding in December. In our Chinese Tea Ceremony, she was able to handle the chaotic environment of my large family and capture amazing candid shots. When I return to the photos, I really could relive that day which I really do appreciate. In our fall engagement sessions, I appreciated her ability to capture the beautiful autumn landscape and elements. We gave her 2 locations and she surprised us with other location shots we didn't even think about and even gave us more time in our engagement sessions. We used so many of the photos in the decor of our December wedding. In our December wedding, I really wanted to make sure to select a photographer who would capture winter weddings well. It's frustrating to only view summer/spring wedding photos in my initial research of photographers and photography companies, so when I canvases numerous photographers, I definitely saw that Kristin had a great eye in shooting for all seasons. When contacting Cage and Aquarium, They gave me access to other winter wedding photographs and many photographers to choose from. I choose Kristin because she works really well with lighting and her winter/indoor photos were amazing. Her photographs for our December wedding exceeded our expectations. Kristin is very personable and really helps you make you feel comfortable. She's also very accommodating. While also being super professional and keeps your needs on top, you can tell that she really enjoys her work, which makes you trust her and also enjoy your day. OUR DJ EXPERIENCE We had Drew at our Chinese Tea Ceremony reception, and he was amazing. We had 2 wedding celebrations, and we ended up booking 2 different DJs for both events. I selected Drew and my husband selected another DJ. We joked around that it would be a competition for who selected the best DJ, and I definitely won with selecting Drew. Drew was able to really get our party on the dance floor, and most of our guests were on the dance floor for the majority of the time. He also really was great at adjusting our music as the night wore on. At the end of the night, our guests were encoring Drew and he ended the night with everyone on the floor singing along to Beyonce. It was truly amazing. We wanted everyone on the dance floor, and Drew made it happen.

My (new) wife and I recently had a surprise wedding (not a surprise to us but to our guests) and after speaking with tons of DJ's we landed on Cage and Aquarium partly due to the fact that they were recommended by our venue and partly due to price. I have to say, that the process C&A went through to match us up with the right DJ was impressive. After a conversation and filling out some information, they connected us with Michael. During our first conversation, we absolutely hit it off. He is our people!! We are pretty sure he was more excited for our surprise wedding than even we were. He put in so much time and effort to make sure the music fit us and the event. On the day of the program, Michael showed up early to get set up. He wasn't due to start spinning until 8 pm but he was set up by 4 and then jumped in during our cocktail hour and played some music for the crowd. After the ceremony and the dinner, he crushed it! He had everyone on the floor all night long. I am pretty sure that my 6 year old niece and Michael had a special bond. She danced the entire night, right in front of his set up, and wouldn't let anyone dance with her. It was so spectacular! I cannot recommend Cage & Acquarium enough. They are the ultimate professionals, will match you with the perfect DJ from their team, and make sure that your wedding or event goes perfectly. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!

Our DJ Dale & the Cage + Aquarium team were phenomenal to work with! If you are looking for the best in the business, look no further. They made the process absolutely seamless from start to finish! The communication was top notch throughout our whole process. Our DJ Dale had our whole entire wedding on the dance floor until the very end of the night. Our friends and family are still talking about what an amazing job he did! Would absolutely recommend Dale and the Cage + Aquarium team to anyone who is looking for an amazing DJ providing the best customer service. Dale did such a great job of listening to every idea or suggestion we had. We even put together ideas on a Spotify playlist which he perfectly placed in throughout the evening. He truly exceeded our expectations for a DJ (he is literally the nicest guy you will ever meet), and our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without him and the Cage + Aquarium team!

DJ Chris Banks w/ Cage and Aquarium is a pro. My wife and I were lucky enough to have him DJ our wedding in Bucktown in May 2019. He did a great job playing our priority requests and sticking to the vibe we wanted for the evening, but he also let his own personality and flavor shine through. Chris was easy to work with and was a welcome addition to our wedding night. One of our biggest regrets was not scheduling even more time for dancing. Chris kept the floor full and left us + our guests wanting more! Cage and Aquarium did a great job taking care of all of our needs from our initial consultation to our wedding night.

We hired C&A for our wedding DJ . They did a great job meeting and exceeding our expectations. Edward was fantastic at providing a mix that kept the crowd going that included our favorites and more.

This vendor was recommended by our venue, and we are so lucky they were! DJ Archi was incredible, and kept everyone on the dance floor while mixing in our special requests seamlessly. We had a mixed group of ages, and everyone complimented the DJ. He was super easy to work with, and definitely made our party! Use them is you have the chance - music has such an impact on your special day, and they did a really phenomenal job.

This review is LONG overdue. We booked C&A for both our photographer and our DJ, and both were absolutely fantastic!! I cannot say enough good things about them. We had Adam as our DJ, and Hadassah and Jade for our photographers. Adam was personable, fun, played great music, and made the reception a party all night long. Hadassah and Jade were AMAZING - they made all the right suggestions for picture locations and poses, were so fun to be with during the day, and were extremely professional. Jade also edits the photos and her work is incredible, and super fast! We got all our pictures in November, and our wedding was in October. In short, I would (and do) highly recommend C&A to anyone getting married and looking for a DJ or photographer.

Our experience with C&A and Tyler was as good as it gets. All of our communication the C&A team leading up to our wedding was smooth, easy, and tremendously organized. Tyler was understanding of our needs, but also willing to run with minimal guidance and control the dance floor. Our venue had a 10pm curfew, which brought us to ask about silent disco, which it turns out Tyler has experience with and encouraged us to pursue. He did an awesome job keeping people moving; the silent disco might have been the highlight of our wedding. Our guests loved it, and we looked like heroes. Many thanks to Tyler and C&A for taking care of audio so confidently and happily on a day when we didn't want to worry about it at all.
